Date of Scene: 19 March 2024
Location: Botanical Gardens
Synopsis: Coco and Yuuto have a picnic and discuss his parents.
Cast of Characters: Coco Kiumi, Yuuto Shiraishi

Coco Kiumi has posed:
The arrival of the warmer weather means that it is now the perfect time to spend time the time just resting outdoor, and there is nothing better on that front to have a picnic. That's why she has been hard at work to prepare a meal she and Yuuto would enjoy.

She has told him to meet her right after school via sms at the Botanical Gardens and to skip his lunch. When Yuuto comes, she will have been waiting for him there with a rather large sealed basket. Alas, it's not transparent, so he can't peek at what's inside.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
As soon as Yuuto received the message from Coco, Yuuto eagerly accepted. He's always happy to spend time with Coco and after the madness of the day before, he's still... well, he only got to see Coco for a short time in her cheerleader outfit, but it looked amazing on her!

Not that he's expecting that today as he arrives at the garden to find Coco so tht he may join her. He's changed out of his uniform, but has dressed up a little, a nice collared polo style shirt, khaki style trousers and loafers, with his watch worn as always.

Spying Coco, he lifts a hand in wave of greetings as he makes his way over to the girl he gave his promise to, and grins. "Hey!" he greets, coming over to over a hug and kiss, if she wants one.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco reciprocates both the kiss and the hug when Yuuto comes (although her arms will have moved to gently take hold of his face when she is doing the latter. "Hey, sunshine!", she brightly smiles. She then lets go of him to raise the basket. "Surprise! I thought we could have a picnic. Come with me."

She then takes his arm and starts leading him, only stopping when they have reaches a bench with a great view of the surrounding vegetations. "So, here is what I have prepared: an assortment of salami, ham and pepperoni, followed by crackers with various cheese types as accompaniment, then two variants of sandwiches with roast beef and turkey. I have also includes a salad with grilled chicken, a potato salad with bacon and finally chocolate-covered strawberries. For drinks I brought iced tea."

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
When she catches him, Yuuto grins as she kisses and he returns it, before his arms are taken. "That's a great idea!" he agrees with her readily, his arm taken so that they can press close together. Walking with Coco, as they come up on her setup, his eyes are wide. "Oh, this looks great!" he admits, before she starts to lay out the menu.

"You really went all out." he breathes, looking to his love with admiration. "I didn't burn myself out that hard yesterday, but I enjoy a great meal." he admits with a blush, as he waits for her to settle down before he joins her. "So. I guess I should let you know." A little chuff of a breath in thought. "I told my parents about you."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"Yes, I wanted this to be great", Coco smiles when Yuuto comments she went all out. "I wanted to start spring with a great send off to winter, so nothing better than a picnic." Coco then opens the basket and places it in a way Yuuto can reach inside for the carefully compartmentalised food.

"I am sorry your track meeting had to be ruined by Hawk Moth", she says next. "I knew how much you were looking forward and trained for it. Your club fellow is fine though. Ladybug and Cat Noir took care of the Akuma."

Then her eyes widen when he mentions that he told his parents about her. "Really!? How did it go? What do they think of us? And what exactly have you told them?"

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
Reaching inside for a sandwich first, Yuuto listens as Coco explains the purpose for the meal and that his classmate is doing well. "That's great news. Sorry. I got caught up in the evacuation wave and couldn't make my way back." he offers to Coco apologetically. "You're okay though, right? They didn't attack you?" His eyes take her in with concern, before his attention returns to his parents.

A sigh of breath and he starts to eat. "So you have to understand. My parents are sticklers. They want me to stay in school, concentrate on school and graduate. They see me as dating as frivolous and something best saved for when I have graduated and have a salary that can support a spouse. So, they do not know that you are a mermaid, or a princess. Not yet at least. I wanted to just start with... 'I have a girlfriend and I like her alot.'."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"It's ok", Coco exclaims while reaching for his hand. "I am just glad you are safe. I wouldn't have wanted anything to happen to you. I wasn't attacked either. He did find my song grating, but I figure he was more focused on those that were using tangible attacks."

Coco nods when Yuuto summarises the situation with his parents. That sounds about right with what he said of them before. Parents... sometimes she is lucky she only has Aqua Regina for one, sort of. Yuuto's parents in particular sound like a pain. "I am sorry you have to be stuck with them", Coco says, watching him with eyes full of understanding and affection. "Have they mentioned anything specific about me?"

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
"Not yet. But that could be good, or bad news. They may be ignoring you, hoping you just go away. Or they could be doing research to find something to try to force me to break up with you." Yuuto shakes his head. "It's probably more the former." He takes a bite and his eyes light up with delight at the deliciousness of the sandwich.

And instead of sitting across from Coco, he settles in next to her so that they can touch and be close together. "Well, if it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here now." he points out with a grin. "So, now you're stuck with me." A wink at the mermaid before taking another bite. "This is really good, my dear."

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"If you say they are ignoring me, we can find joy in that", Coco remarks, giving him a slight kiss. Less problems for them that way. Coco takes a cracker with cheese from her basket just then, savoring the tasty appetizer. "If however they give you problems, I don't mind revealing I am a princess to stop them from bothering you." Talking about being a mermaid is something the Veil would make them forget soon after, but not her royal descent.

"I am way too happy about being stuck with you", Coco laughs, the crystalline sound spreading among the beautiful plants. "And rather, it's you who are getting stuck with me once you become my Prince Consort", she cheerfully adds, bringing her arms around his neck and touching his forehead with hers.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
"Well, we'll worry about showing you're a Princess only if we have too." Yuuto admits as he finishes off the sandwich. He's obviously hungry, but he pauses for a moment as she becomes affectionate, and he makes no move to push her away.

"Best thing I could ever be stuck with." he whispers in response, the sound of her laugh is the sweetest sound he ever heard - almost as sweet as when she refers to him as her Prince Consort. His hands settle on her sides as she holds him and brushes his nose to hers. "I love you, Coco." he whispers lightly and then kisses her. A soft, lingering kiss and soft intake of her breath.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"That's probably considerate", Coco smiles at her boyfriend very affectionately. On the spur of the moment she even takes a cheese cracker and holds it close to his mouth, clearly offering to feed it to him.

Then there is the warm presence of his hands on her sides, and that enchanting love whisper that is just as much music to her ears as her own songs. "I love you too", she whispers back, before lingering with her own lips on Yuuto, breathing in and out in unison with her love.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
There are some of the greatest kisses of all time: Amor and Psyche, The Kiss by Franscesco Hayes, In Bed by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Kiss V by Roy Lichtenstein or Mural del Beso by Joan Foncuberta. This kiss may not remembered by others, but it will resonate in Yuuto's mind for the rest of his life.

As he breaks the kiss, his cheeks are warm, filled with vibrant life. "Wow." he whispers.

And then, there's the cracker that was presented to him. He laughs in light embarassment. "Sorry, didn't realize you were trying feed me something besides your love." he admits.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
If Yuuto thinks their kiss will never be immortalised anywhere, then perhaps he should think again, since they will be quite renown in the future. Chances are one day a statue of the two of them will stand inside the palace of the South Pacific, tails intertwined, lovingly kissing each other.

Coco's face is just as warmed up by that kiss, and she radiantly looks at Yuuto after they break apart. "Wow for sure."

"I have been feeding you all this alongside my love", Coco grins when she corrects Yuuto. "They are a bundle deal, it's in that sandwich too", she happily remarks.

Yuuto Shiraishi has posed:
Yuuto laughs lightly. "I don't think you can overdose me with emotion... but..." his fingers caress across her middle with a soft touch and a grin. "You are addictive, my mermaid princess." he admits to her quietly. "And I can't guarantee I won't make a scene out of being your absolutely biggest fan when you perform at Prom." he teases.

A grin at her. "Not that they'll need to figure it out. I want to dance with you all night long." he admits to her quietly. "Or at least until you tell me that you're ready to go home. Or someplace so we can kiss in quiet." Another blush.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
She is addictive? What when he is the one that constantly draws her in even deeper when she thought they had already reached the bottom. "And you are just so charming, and I have been very glad to cheer for you at the track yesterday." Because this is what they are like, aren't they? Always ready to support the other one no matter the circumstance.

"I hope we will be able to resist the impulse to go somewhere secluded to kiss for at least a while", Coco smiles confidently. "I do want at least one dance with you."
