A Visit to Hikawa Shrine
Date of Scene: 13 March 2024
Location: Hikawa Shrine
Synopsis: Bow visits the Hikawa Shrine and meets Rei. After a couple of awkward moments, Ami and Zoisite show up and smooth things over. Bow learns shrine manners, that Ami and Zoisite are in fact not dating, and that Rei plans to attend Radiant Hearts Academy.
Cast of Characters: Bow, Rei Hino, Zoisite, Ami Mizuno

Bow has posed:
Ever since he arrives on Earth, Bow has made it a point to get out and explore. There's no telling how much time he will have here. No telling when he will return to Etheria. So, he wants to experience as much of this world as possible. At least he's started realizing he should change out of his school uniform and into his normal clothes when he gets out and about.

A new direction chosen, a new path to take. Today's wanderings have brought him towards the entrance of the shrine, and his eyes travel it up and down. "Oh. This is way larger than the last shrine we visited." he comments, letting out a low whistle. "I didn't realize there was different sizes!"

And now, with his curiosity piqued, the teenager decides to make his way past the torii towards the stairs so he can explore further.

Rei Hino has posed:
    Curiosity is a dangerous thing.

The new path was chosen, coming up to the gate, and the small wooded area that helps block out the sound of traffic. Looming in the trees, two crows are perched, eyeballing Bow with their dark eyes as they flit from tree to tree, giving harsh little caws out, their voices echoing over the grounds of the shrine as they flap through.

At the top of the stairs, past the wooded area, there is a young woman. She's wearing red hakama and a white over-coat over her kimono, her dark hair pulled back into a simple, low ponytail, secured with a red bow. Her sweeping is meditative in motion as she works the straw through the stones that line the grounds of the shrine -- after all in Shinto, cleanliness is literally next to godliness.

Zoisite has posed:
Following the path not far behind Bow comes a pair, walking closely together so as to maintain a quiet conversation. It's Ami, along with Zoisite, whose shining blond hair is down and pulled forward over his shoulder, rather than in its usual ponytail, as his fingers are currently working on braiding the length of it. He says something and follows it up with a soft laugh, his head shaking at his own joke -- something about studying and finals and his own competence -- as they ascend the stairs.

Though as he spots first Bow, and then Rei, two known elements to him for various reasons, Zoisite cuts himself off with a quick clearing of his throat, and he tosses his hair back over his shoulder. In seconds it's rearranged to its usual style, almost effortlessly, and he slides his hands into the pockets of his slim-fitting jacket, the sleek grey fabric a match to his slacks. It's not his Shitennou uniform but it is certainly evocative of it, if with a much more modern and stylish cut.

Not that, by deign of being worn by Zoisite, his uniform isn't stylish.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno for her part was dressed casually but nicely as she usually tried for. Leggings, a skirt, and a blouse tucked in beneath a long jacket that was left open for the moment. It was starting to become warmer, and walking up the steps to the shrine always did warm her up further. Atop her head is a tan beret that had been picked out for her by Makoto. There's no braiding of her own hair, or anything like that, it's just the usual short bob it's always in.

"I know it's not *necessary* but it's tradition," come her words responding to whatever had been stated in the conversation they were having. "Like New Years. You visit a shrine and make an offering, maybe get a lucky charm. If I'm going to do that then it makes sense to do it at my friend's shrine."

Finals *were* coming up and it was just tradition to make the trek to a shrine to pray for good grades. It was more the ceremony than actually needing any extra luck. A little something to help clear her head before buckling down one last time of the school year.

Looking up further she spots Bow with a smile and lifts her hand to wave, along with a call of, "Bow! Hello!" Followed by a quick remark as well to the miko currently working. "Rei-chan, we came to visit!"

Bow has posed:
Curiosity is also the doorway to friendships and adventures! And new friends and adventures are the best kind.

It is hard to miss Bow once you meet him. Six feet tall, dark skinned, even in his civilian disguise, he tends to stand out in a crowd. As he's ascending the stairs, the teenager makes out the young woman working on sweeping clean the rocks. Perhaps, not realizing that what Rei is doing is supposed to be meditative and effectively her do not disturb mode, he lifts a hand in greeting towards Rei to greet her. Which could be certain doom.

However, he is saved by the call of his name as he turns his attention behind him, and noticing the pair come up the stairs, he grins warmly. "Ami! Hi! How're you? And you as well, Zoisite?" comes the greeting before he adds.

"I was just about to ask what the purpose of this shrine was, how serendipitous it is that you're here!" Because exploring new places is more fun with new companions and friends. "Did the information I gave you the other night help any?" Not that he knows that Ami's already carried out her scans, but if he needs to elaborate on anything, he's opening the door.

Rei Hino has posed:
It could be certain doom, but Rei is mildly used to people coming up to the shrine to ask for directions. Sometimes even to the shrine itself, and she has a forced neutral expression on her face as she regards Bow, and then Ami and Zoisite show. Rei's expression softens slightly, and she gives a smile. "Ami-chan, Zoisite -- hello!" she greets the two, standing up a little straighter.

"So, this new visitor is a friend of yours? Does he go to the academy as well?" she questions with an eyebrow raise as she pauses her sweeping, giving a small motion to Bow.

Zoisite has posed:
A flick of a final loose strand of hair over his shoulder precedes Zoisite's returned greeting of, "I have no complaints," to Bow. But Rei gets a simple, "Hello," before Zoi demures to Ami, who will have a better answer to Bow about the information, of course.

Though he does offer a correction of "A collaborator on some of our shared extra-curricular activities," to Rei, which is a roundabout way of saying someone with magic, or someone on their side of the fight. The way Zoisite's green eyes shift left and right as he scans their surrounding area for potential eavesdroppers suggests why he's talking in circles.

Hands still in his pockets, he shrugs his shoulders and takes a few steps away from Ami. "We're here to make an offering. Ami has finals, and I have placement tests to resume school at the start of the new year. We'll both pass without trouble, of course, but tradition is tradition."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
This was one of the places that Ami felt oddly at ease. Perhaps because this was Rei's territory she considered it 'safe' in her mind. There had been more than a few meetings with her friends here either to study, chat, catch up or just on occasion socialize since the school year had started. It was comfortable in it's own way, and the surroundings relaxing and serene.

"Yes, it is lucky," she agrees with Bow as she gestures toward him for Rei's benefit. Zoisite has already given his round-about agreement to which she nods as well. "Bow has been very helpful with a current issue we're starting to deal with by providing data I otherwise wouldn't have had." Though, she adds for his sake, "I was able to get close to one of the towers last night to scan as well. I should be able to break the encryption easily enough."

"For now though," she adds a bit more regular-voiced, "Yes, we came to give offerings. I thought it might be good to get Zoisite a charm to put on his bag, too. Something to keep prying eyes off of him perhaps." The Shittenou had betrayed Obsidian and Beryl, they were currently on the list of 'people they were after' so something extra might be helpful.

Bow has posed:
When Ami mentions was able to broke the encryption, Bow fistpumps with an excited, "Yes!" and offers his hand in a closed-fist to Ami in a fist-bump motion. "We're totally going to pull this off!" He's excited. It shows in his eyes, sparkles in those deep dark pools as he's about bouncing on the balls of his feet. Then remembering that Rei may not be in the know, he clears his throat and ahems, kicking a toe into the ground. "I mean, we're going to totally ace this project, yes."

Ahem, right, anyway, back on topic. "Aha, then I will make my offerings for it as well, as I have to take my placement tests as well." Because Etherian education so does not equal Earth education. Not once, has any class asked where the weak points on a Horde tank are. Or how to tie a proper knot for lifting heavy things. Sigh.

But back on task, and the current situation. Turning to Rei, he grins brightly. "Anyway, hi! It's nice to meet you. My name's Bow, but around the school I go by Luke Armbruster. I'm from America." At least not all of his cover is in taters yet. Setsuna would be disappointed. His right hand is offered to Rei, and she may notice the well-calloused and worn area where an archer would pull a bow string. Often. Like. A whole lot.

Rei Hino has posed:
Rei looks to Zoisite with an arched eyebrow, and then purses her lips a moment as she turns and casts a rather judgemental look to Bow. He fistpumps. He's excited.

Ah. He's another Usagi. But a boy.

"I see." she replies quietly to Zoisite, and then then she breathes out, her shoulders going slack a little bit.

"Make sure you show him the process, if he's not familiar with it. There was a tourist that used the water to drink and then washed their feet." Rei explains quietly to Ami, and she gives a more dour expression. "And you know, if you need my help, I'm just a phone call away."

She takes up her broom again.

"I've been considering taking placement at the same school. If nothing else? It'll be a nice change from the nuns."

She looks briefly at the offered hand, and she tilts her head. She reaches down in a quick motion to pull his hand up, her own grip strong as she examines it a moment.

"You are an archer, aren't you? Appropriate, given the name 'Bow' and what it means in English." she gives a small smile. "From America?"

Zoisite has posed:
The mention of an additional charm has Zoisite glancing back over at Ami, his immediate curiosity for her reasoning giving way swiftly to a mute understanding. He doesn't object, either. Instead he says, "Don't worry, I know what to do," to put Rei's concerns at ease.

"I'll be going by Izou Saitou at Radiant Heart Academy, once I'm officially re-enrolled." It seems important to note, especially given the very worries Ami had just hinted at. Certainly Zoi feels the same.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
A... a fist bump? It wasn't a gesture Ami of all people got often, but she finds herself easily swept away in Bow's eager enthusiasm with a giggle. Lifting her hand she meets his with her fist in a 'dap' while nodding agreeably. "We'll have it solved in no time." A quick look around comes, and she lets out a sigh quietly. "We're all on the same side here," she assures with a smile by way of letting both Rei and Bow know that they were... well. Not typical students. Just doing so without *outing* anyone.

Which is good because for a moment her eyebrows just *RAISE* at mention of how the guest acted. "Oh my! That's certainly... No no, we'll be fine," she assures only to look at Bow. America. Right. "We can show Bow how just in case, though," she adds with a grin. "Right, Zoi?" Somehow she finds herself slipping into the nickname even though that really wasn't usually a *her* thing to do. "We'll get you a pretty charm, don't worry," she assures.

Bow has posed:
'You are an archer, aren't you?'

Rei has opened a box she may not want to open. But it's open. Because only one other type of person recognizes an archer.

Another archer.

"Yes! From America on exchange." Bow's smile... did it just get a little brighter in here? "I've been an archer since I was old enough to hold a bow! And since my fathers (yes 2 dads), named me Bow, and I was the youngest of thirteen, I learned how to use a bow at a young age, even if they want me to be a historian and librarian curator."

"I can make my own bow, fletch my arrows, flint knap, and have designed several different types of arrows."

A couple of weeks ago? He'd probably just henshin'd to start pulling out all the arrows to lay out for Rei to examine. At least a couple of weeks have tempered that out of his system, but he's still going. "Does that mean you practice archery as well? I tried out for the kyudo team, but those bows are so tall and I'm not used to them - I usually use a compound bow. But I'm sure I'll make the team for the next year!" he says, trying to be encouraging to him as he grips his hand in a fist as he pulls it back from Rei. "I shall strike true and show them what determination, training, grit and a true heart for the arrow shall accomplish!"

Then Zoisite is reintroducing himself with his pretend name, and he ohs softly, before grinning anew. "It's nice to meet you again, then, Izou!" Offered with enthusiasm and warmth, before his attention swivels to Ami.

"But if you prefer Zoisite, I will endeavour to keep the two seperate from each other."

Ami, then, is helpful in making sure Bow knows that Rei is on the 'know', but tries to figure out how in the know she is. "She knows Usagi then? Where I'm from, there would be twelve Usagis." SUBTLE HINT, hopefully. "So there's rules for visiting the shrine? Okay, I can do that. No problem!"

Rei Hino has posed:
Oh no. He IS a Boy Usagi. Rei appears a little taken aback by the outright enthusiasm regarding Bow's bows and arrows, and gives a slight smile.

"I am an archer, sometimes. Not on my school's team, though -- they don't encourage that sort of team at my school." she explains with a small smile. "I'm sure you'll get used to the yumi; they're a little awkward if you're used to a smaller bow." she replies to him with gentle encouragement.

To Ami she gives a sidelong-look.

"He is pretty enough, he doesn't need more pretty." Rei states to Ami, giving a side-eye to Zoisite with a quirk of her lips, trying not to smile and look like ever the stern miko before she catches up with what Bow said.

        "... Twelve... Usagi..."

She is mentally picturing twelve Usagis all in varying colors of bun-pigtail hair, with repeated 'Rei-chan!' - 'Read our fortune!' 'Tell me my love future!' 'SET MY HOMEWORK ON FIRE PLEASE!'

"... that is too many Usagi." Rei pauses, staring into space a moment. "... Ami-chan, could you... walk him through the first part? I think I hear the crows arguing."

Zoisite has posed:
"Of course," Zoisite says breezily, and Ami gets a small smile at the use of the nickname slipping out. He pulls his hand free of his pocket to gesture to Bow. "We'll have you behaving as if you lived here your whole life in no time, it's simply a matter of poise." Because of course that's how Zoi sees the difference between someone foreign like Bow and... well, himself. Maybe Ami too. Rei seems like she could also count.

The use of his fake name makes his lips purse faintly, though Bow correcting himself immediately after is nodded to. "That is my name," he says. Only the girls will know the timey-wimey implications of that, given he no doubt had some other name when he was reborn. What is it? A mystery, because he's just Zoisite now.

While he's preening under Rei's compliment, he's also flashing her an amused look, green eyes glinting, at her reaction to Usagi's mention. "She thought I was a bad match for Ami-chan, can you believe that?" He touches Ami's shoulder lightly, a casual gesture, though the quick side-eye he gives her (with an accompanying wink) is to let her know it's all in good fun. "I'm truly hurt by such an admission." A sad puff of air, nearly a sigh, leaves him after that.

Though his faux-pouting doesn't last long. Soon enough, Zoisite tips his head to one side, indicating further down the path. "Shall we?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Twelve? That is a lot," Ami has to agree because frankly she hadn't known that little tidbit about Bow's world. Simply that he was of a different world, similar to Adora. Who she also knew very little about. A silent mental note is made to brush up on her connection with the mahou that were outside her circle as soon as finals are finished. They were rather soon. After that she could relax just a bit with the short break before the start of the new school year.

"He's far more likely to hang onto something useful if it's pretty though. Most of the charms at your shrine are, anyway, Rei-chan," she points out with a soft smile toward her friend. At lest until that little touch comes to her shoulder drawing her gaze away as she's forced to tip her head up just slightly to regard Zoisite given the height difference.

The wink was caught. Her lips purse together trying to restrain herself from giggling. It doesn't quite work as the girlish little giggle comes out regardless.

"Yes, just follow us Bow, it won't be difficult." So saying she reaches up to withdraw her hat which she tucks into her pocket with a quick run of her hand over her hair to smooth it out. "Bow before entering the gates, don't walk down the center. We'll go to cleanse ourselves before we visit the shrine," she explains matter-of-fact while striding along to begin heading for that area. She'll take care of it, Rei!

Bow has posed:
There's a moment where Bow realizes he may have... accidentally hurt Rei's feelings. "Ah... I mean." he starts to say, trying to figure out where he messed up and where and what he should be apologizing for, but before he can get too deep into that, sudden. "Oh! I didn't know you and Ami were dating, Zoisite! I'm seeing someone, Sayaka Miki. She's been really nice in showing me around Tokyo and learning about where I'm from as well."

And then Ami and Zoisite are leading him off. And yeah, it seems that Adora didn't share a lot about home - apparently this could be a good or bad thing. For Bow, it's a good thing. It's a cultural exchange, at least to him!

Then he's following Ami, listening as he immediately moves from the center. "Got it!" he says, adjusting on the fly as he glances around him, eyes bright and excited as he drinks in a new location. And for once, he's not looking for a Horde ambush. Or that an attack may be right around the corner. It's... liberating.

Zoisite has posed:
A quick glance towards Ami happens before Zoisite hones in on Bow. "Oh, is that so? Well a congratulations to the happy couple, then," he says smoothly, which neither confirms (nor, notably, denies) Bow's assertions about himself and Ami.

At least he doesn't until they've bowed to the gate and proceeded up the left side of the path, until they're out of Rei's range of hearing. "We're nothing so serious as dating, though, Ami-chan and I," he corrects. "We just have a deep connection on a personal level." There. That is both technically correct and also gloriously ambiguous, sure to stir up more drama in the future. It's only Zoi's knightly grace that allows him to keep a straight face through it all and resist the urge to laugh.

They make their way up the path until they reach a paved area, with the cleansing pavilion to the side. And Zoisite does know how to do all this, so he bows once to the pavilion after approaching it, and then demonstrates by first filling a ladle with his right hand, rinsing his left hand, then his right, and then fills his left hand with water to rinse his mouth. After he pours out the rest of the water from the ladle by holding it upright, he returns it to its place, bows again, and steps back.

"There. Just do exactly as I did," he says, easy as that.

After a second or two of pause, though, he looks over at Ami. "Though I defer to Ami, she is an exceptional teacher after all."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Oh dear. Dating? Ami pauses a moment as she's about to protest that but Bow is already talking about Sayaka, and then Zoisite is responding in that oh-so-calm manner that doesn't actualy answer the question either. She's under no assumptions about their 'relationship' after the talk they had the other night. She *does* get that Zoisite is perhaps pulling a little bit of a prank though, and chides quietly, "Zoi," in spite of the fact that it does cause her to crack a grin.

When the blonde steps forward for the cleansing rituation she nods in approval. "Just like that, yes. And we're not in *that* kind of a relationship at all," she adds quietly with a little bit of red-faced embarassment in spite of grinning over the entire situation. "Just... Close, and newly reunited." That was suitable right? Right. Maybe she was amused by his trolling just a bit. Poor Bow didn't deserve to be mistaken though. "I'm not dating anyone, and Zoisite prefers men if I'm not mistaken. It's just not always accepted so long ago we looked after each other in that instance."

Wait does that make it sound like she likes girls?

It was her turn now so she steps forward to bow politely before taking up the ladel to wash her hands in the same order. Left, then right, then left which she brings up to sip from and then spit out to the side once again. The ladel goes back, and she bows once more before stepping aside to make way for the first timer.

Bow has posed:
"That's just as good!" Bow responds. With Rei not around, he feels a little more free to speak as the pair of them are walking him through the cleaning ritual and he's starting on it himself. "Back home, Glimmer... that's Queen Glimmer now, but she was a Princess when I met her, and I were close friends. She used to joke that she's the one that named me Bow because I bowed to her." A soft little laugh as he works through the hand-washing steps, pausing when Zoisite offers a gentle correction.

"Anyway, we were best friends - and then Adora came into our lives. She was a force captain in the Horde, and we met while trying to recover the Sword of Protection. It... took a little time to come to trust her, but she had a good heart, and the sword activated to her. Anyway, she became the third member of our little group, the Best Friends Squad." he's explaining as he finishes the hand-washing to move on to the next step.

"The point being, I can totally understand a boy and a girl having a deep connection, so I apologize for the assumption. I mean, I was born from two dads, and Adora clearly has a thing for Catra - I don't think anyone on this world doesn't know that by now." he shakes his head. "I just... I hope she decides to come home soon. I don't mind watching Swiftwind, but he's missing her too. And I don't like seeing her like she is - but that's a me problem and not a you problem and we're focusing on you at the moment. So yes, it's great that the two of you are friends and reacquainted and I hope things go just as well for me!"

Now, with that step complete, he puts on a smile and focuses on where they are and what they're doing. "So, what's next?"

Rei Hino has posed:
"Next," comes Rei's voice as she returns, still baring her broom as she returns from the wooded area where she had gone to blow off some steam at the idea of twelve -- TWELVE -- Usagi -- she motions with an open hand towards the shrine itself.

"You ring the bell, letting the kami inside know you're here to offer prayer. Throw in a coin in offering. Then bow, like this --"

Rei bows at about 45 degrees, from her waist, "Clap twice" -- she claps with her right hand a little lower than her left hand "And ask your favor of the kami."

Zoisite has posed:
As Bow goes through the process of cleansing himself while chattering away, Zoisite aims an amused look sideways towards Ami. And soon enough they're rejoined by Rei, who explains what comes after.

A bit of slight of hand has Zoisite producing a coin in the palm of his hand. "Please allow me to demonstrate again for our new friend," he says, nodding with a charming smile towards Rei, before he steps up to the bell. After he rings it, Zoi tosses the coin in offering and then repeats the process Rei had already shown, bowing and then clapping twice, which immediately leads into his prayer, eyes closed as he offers up a solemn wish for the safety of his prince, and sure, okay, maybe the rest of the Shitennou and the forces on the side of good, before he continues on with his studies being a small afterthought.

He bows again then, slow and reverent, before he steps away to make room for those to follow.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"Well, we'll just--" Ami begins and never finishes. Rei's re-appearance has made that completely unnecessary so she falls back to allow the others to do their demonstrations and offerings as well.

Not knowing Bow's exact circumstances she's already withdrawn a little snap coin purse to fish out a few five yen peices, one of which she offers to the tall otherworlder. "Five is a lucky number. It sounds similar to the word 'luck'," she explains in a quiet, hushed voice so that she doesn't interrupt either of their prayers.

It's her turn now though so she likewise steps forward to pull the bell, bow, and clap twice.

School of course comes first. It's the habit she came to fulfill. After? Her mind momentarily clears focusing on the more important things: Safety of her friends, and the world in general. Good luck on the upcoming mission against the towers.

With one last clap she steps back and away solemnly.

Bow has posed:
Bow is obersvant as he watches the first two with their offerings, and when Rei returns, there's a polite smile offered her way. "Okay, I think... yes, got it." the Etherian teenager offers, his attention turning back to observing Zoisite and Ami as they go through the process.

Ami offers him the coins, and he accepts them gratefully, because to be honest - while the school's headmaster took him in under the 'Displaced Aliens Clause', that only covers the school stuff. Which is why Sayaka has been paying for their outings in the city. A glance at the coins and the explanation and he smiles in response. "Thank you." he offers with true gratefulness.

Now, his turn. He pulls the bell, to get the attention. Coins tossed in. Bow bows. Claps twice. And then into his prayer. While the other two were quiet, his words are soft, spoken. "I know I'm not from this world, but I've seen magic and spirits and believe in both. I was the normal guy on my home and different here. I'm grateful, but I'd give it back if Adora was okay... if she can find the peace she needs in her heart to defeat the darkness that consumes her currently. That wherever Glimmer is... that she's okay and she knows I'm okay, and doing well and at peace with what I need to do. That Etheria can hold on until I return. That it's not over. We're not going to fall. Not yet. With new friends, new allies. A new perspective... maybe we can have it all. I hope so. Please, watch my friends, the Rebellion, the Princess Alliance, and those I have grown friendships and relationships with on this world as well. Thanks. You're pretty awesome if you heard all that."

Another clap, and he reaches up to rub his eyes with the sleeve of his shirt as he returns to the others. It's early spring, clearly allergy eyes, right?

Rei Hino has posed:
Rei is used to people being silent in prayer -- except little children, who hope for health, good grades, and a LOT of candy. She's nearby, sweeping a stubborn bit of dirt between some stones, and her expression softens as she pauses, and looks to Bow with consideration in her eyes. She may be aloof, even stand-offish at times, but she can relate to feeling out of place.

"... it sounds like the world you come from has a lot going on." she states softly to Bow, and watching him rub his eyes with the sleeves of his shirt, she reaches into the sleeve of her jacket and produces a packet of tissues.

"The pine pollen is very strong today. You may need these, and maybe some tea to help relax your sinuses?" she offers, awkwardly to the outlander, and she takes a deep breath and leaves it off.

"So, all three of you going to Radiant Heart then?" she questions softly. "I'm... considering... transferring. Pending my father's approval."

Zoisite has posed:
Standing with Ami, Zoisite waits for Bow to step up to the offering box. And when Bow starts to pray aloud, Zoi's hands return to his pockets and he finds something interesting to gaze at off in the distance, even though it's impossible not to eavesdrop given their location relative to Bow.

He rocks on the balls of his feet, heels of his dress boots clicking on the paved ground when his weight resettles, and then he nods at Rei.

"Technically I'm not yet a student, but I'm going to be taking my placement tests before the start of the new year so that I can enroll, and then I'll be attending Radiant Heart," he confirms. Then he looks between Ami and Rei, considering. "It probably wouldn't be a bad idea, to be in the same classes."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno gazes at Bow while biting her lower lip. She heard bits and peices of his prayer and though she doesn't interrupt, or call him out for it, she certainly can sympathize. Rei's the one that catches him with the tissues earning a smile for her friend.

"Yes! Please do. It would be fantastic to have you there with us, Rei-chan. If you need help with any of the tests I can pass on several of the study guides I've put together." There's no offense to her tone by suggesting this: It's just what she does. Study. "It may not be any different than your current school curriculum of course, except at a different pace." The school Rei went to was a bit prestigious after all.

Realizing a bit more of what that would mean it's her turn to bounce on the balls of her feet a single time with hands clapping together. "Oh I hope you can! It would be great to have someone else around to help me with tutoring Usagi and Makoto and the others."

Bow has posed:
Accepting the tissues with a grateful look, Bow's not crying, not much. "Just a little homesick." he admits and allows as he takes one of the tissues out of the packet to clean up with, but sees she might be a little uncomfortable with the tea idea, so lets it simmer for now, as he turns his attention to the question. "Oh, yes. I attend there, in grade 10, and part of the archery club, and approved to be in the band on violin." Something else that uses a bow.

When Ami gets excited about Rei coming to the school as well, he nods. "If it is what you want, I hope that your hope is granted as well." He carefully avoids using wish. Sayaka has schooled him well on a certain cat-rabbit thing.

"Thank you for the time, but I wanted to visit a couple of other places before I head back to the school for the night. It was a pleasure to meet you, Rei. Ami, Zoisite, I'm glad I got to see you again, and I look forward to working with Ami on our project." A tip of his head and a bow, and two fingers tipped to his brow in a salute as he prepares to leave. "Until we meet again, my friends!"
