Cast of Characters: Hannah Steiner, Ami Mizuno

Hannah Steiner has posed:
Even for one blessed by the Sankt Kaiser with far too much energy, the discipline to keep said energy up with a regular exercise regime, /and/ just youthful vigor? Well, even the good Countess needs a breather every now and then. Particularly with all the recent goings-on between her Uncle, the crash of the Artha, and other far more mundane fires needing either her attention, or just putting out (like school, for instance).

And so, with her homework done, rather than put in extra time at the weight bag or shove her head into another Earth economics book, she's decided to do one of her favorite relaxing hobbies!

Lean back and be social. Dressed in her Steiner-blue thick robe, fuzzy yellow slippers, and Lyra in her Asian Sheppy Dog glamour being a massive living rug a few feet between couch and Ami's side of the room? She pushes her bowler hat up lazily over her eyes, blacked-out glasses on her Suspicous Desk and Device over by the bunk bed, leaning into her chair dangerously as if she's asleep.

Her rocking back and forth betrays that, as does the grin of pure pearly whites towards the vague direction of her roomie.

"By the Sankt, Ami." She tends to mix up 'Ami' and 'frau Mizuno' depending on her mood, but using the familiar seems to indicate her dropping any sort of formalities on the whole.

"I feel as if I've done you a disservice mein freund, und not even asked after your affairs for far too long!" The worry is real here.

"Come! How are you recently, hm? Gracing this world with your die schone face enough, rather than hiding it in books?" She teases in that warm manner, even as she encourages Ami to get out there!

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Ami Mizuno has been waiting for Hannah to get out of the hospital. To CONFRONT her about her strange friends. She's making the (incorrect) assumption that Hannah is like Naru. A civilian in the know, but that's only thanks to the veil. Which is making it hard for her to logic through anything else. She looks down to Lyra and then up at Hannah so she finally just crosses her arms.

"So Hannah-chan." she says. "I am well. But how are you after your. Accident." she says.

"-and." she says.

"How long have you known a magical hero?" she asks, remember Coco turned into Yellow Pearl Voice right in front of her and everyone else. She gently leans back in her chair.

"I'm curious." she says. "What exactly is going on there?"

Hannah Steiner has posed:
Hannah can /feel/ that gaze on her. Oh this has been long in coming, and she's spent far more time than she's liked figuring out how to deflect things away from Ami should certain questions start getting asked. As a proud Belkan, sitting on top of the Veil irks her.

But it can't be helped. As much as she likes to rely on the reality warping effect of 'acting like nobility', such things can only go so far. And Ami is too keen to let that kind of social heckery work on her.

"Much better! By the Sankt, concussions are the utter /worst/!" She starts as cheerily as ever.

Welp, there's the question she's been dreading. A wave of the hand dismissively.

"Quite a long time, as it turns out!" No point in denying it. After all, Ami merely asking the question means she too isn't likely to be exactly normal. A hand slips to her cane to spin her Device about comfortingly. She's soon twirling it deftly, absent-mindedly almost.

Then she laughs!

"If you know enough to be able to ask that question, mein freund, then surely you know the answer! Fairly difficult to take a jog in this city or skip a stone across the Bay und not hit some strange warrior. I mean, really! 'Gas leaks'? I wouldst have /words/ with the local architektin of this city if such were a common occurance! By all that is holy /mark your pipelines/!" Laments Hannah, perhaps a little /too/ loudly there.

Smile! She doesn't exactly lay out the unvarnished truth, but that grin is more of a curious smile now, and frankly it's hard to /not/ engage her dear room mate. But frankly she sees only two options coming from Ami. Either she's like Naru, or she's a magical girl herself.

"Though this city does have the rare few who see more than most, even if they cannot pick up the proverbial blade." A raised brow.
