2802/Romantically Confused

Romantically Confused

Location:	Cafe BAKE Neko
Synopsis:	Miho has a request. Mamoru turns down that request. He, Usagi, and Miho are all confused, but at least they can give Miho some concrete suggestions.

Miho Inada has posed:
    Well, its close to closing time for Bake Neko. At this time, Miho decides its the best time to find Mamo, and heads over there after making a quick call to let him know she's on her way. The woman takes a deep breath as she heads towards the door. Tonight, she's in a light sweater, and some light sweat pants, and a small canvas laptop bag. Nothing fancy. As she heads in, she gives a few kittys some ear rubs and head pats as they sniff her. The girl goes straight to the big back table.

    "Thank you for seeing me, Mamoru. I have some awkward questions to ask, and I would like both your opinion, as well as...for you to look into my emotions.", she comments. Miho blushes horribly. She takes a deep breath. "I apologize if this is bad.", Miho comments. The girl sits down at the table.

    The girl, at least, makes an offering of some baked goods that she bought on the way over. Miho puts the laptop bag on the table next to her as she stretches, and sits down. The girl seems to be having a hard time not chewing on her lip a little bit. "I...don't want to do something that would make things awkward for everyone, so I figured it would be best to talk with you about it first."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Mamoru's sitting with Usagi and a mocha and an empty plate that used to have something chocolate on it, and there's a book and his phone on the table too, but his attention's taken up by listening to Usagi and holding a kitten on his chest. He's in a long-sleeved white button-down over a black metal band t-shirt, cuffed skinny bluejeans, and a pair of absurdly expensive and stylish shoes; his black leather jacket hangs from the back of his chair.

When Miho in his peripheral vision starts identifiably approaching them, his attention switches over to her, and his eyebrows go up as he listens.

After she sits down with them, he gestures for her to sit down with them, expression mildly put off. "Good evening, Inada-san. I'm afraid I'm not actually interested in opening my heart and mind today, they're cheese-grater raw and I can't cope with anyone else's emotions. But we're both here if you want to tell us about it."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi had been talking about - something. Nothing serious, more words for the sake of words, a rambling litany of chatter while the two of them enjoyed petting some of the cats at the cafe before it closed for the day.

Then Miho had shown up, and Usagi had fallen silent, waiting to hear what she would ask, and -

She swallows her initial reaction and gathers herself.

"You should ask the questions. Go on, what's on your mind?"

Miho Inada has posed:
    Miho nods her head. "Sorry if I was rude. Just...very tired. And been thinking about this stuff for way too long. Felt like it'll be easier to just get to the point.", she says. The girl sighs a bit as she looks at her bag a bit, and tries to settle her mind. Its been a crazy few weeks, and her headaches have been pretty bad after she used Dire Wolf the other day. They finally settled earlier today.

    "Anyways, I have feelings for Amy, but I still like boys. Like I still look at boys with interest, as I do with Amy.", she admits. "And well, she still thinks of Hannah, and well, she talked about having a crush on you.", Miho says, nodding her head towards Usagi. She shakes her head a little bit as she passes the bribe over. Its pastries.

    "After Hinote, I'm nervous about opening up to somebody again. And I don't want to hurt Amy.", Miho states. She sighs a bit, as she rubs her head a little bit. The girl breathes out as she settles herself a bit.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"You're bi, go on a date," Mamoru says, bewildered. "You don't have to open yourself up to go on a date and see if you have fun together with a romantic flavor to your interactions." He pets the kitten he's holding to his chest, on its little head, with his thumb. It slumbers on, purring, and Mamoru looks at Usagi blankly, like, am I missing something? He looks back at Miho. "You're what, 15? Just go on a date."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
Usagi drops her head into her hands, aware that it's a little rude but unable to stop. "Having feelings for someone doesn't mean you stop noticing that there are other cute people?"

Her tone is perhaps a bit bewildered, but she's just -

"You don't need to have your feelings read, you just, like Mamochan said, you take her out on a date and see if you guys like it, and if you do, you do it again, until neither of you likes it anymore? I... what on Earth made you think this needed psychic intervention? There are shoujo manga about this?"

Miho Inada has posed:
    "16.", she says. The girl shakes her head a little bit as she breathes out. "And I been on a few dates with her. Well, hang outs.", she says. The girl sighs as she blushes a bit. "Sorry. Just...I feel awkward.", she admits.

    "I just wanted to be sure before I did something weird.", she says. The girl blushes a bit more. "Like are my feelings more then a crush.", she says. "But you have a point. I guess, I'll take her out on a few more formal dates.", she says.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Most of the time deeper feelings start with a crush," Mamoru says, looking back from Usagi to Miho. His kitten-free hand moves to rest on his wife's back. "What does it matter if it's a crush? Dating your friends means it's gonna be mostly hanging out with kisses added. Or holding hands if kisses are too scary. And you were friends first anyway, so, like... I'm sorry, I don't really understand what the problem is. Do you think you need to define your relationship with Amy-chan for it to be fun and nice?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Wait, you're the same age as me?" Usagi looks at Miho, then at her husband, then remembers 'past life soulmates who found each other again' and blinks away the confusion over that at least. "What does it matter if its weird? Amy-chan's into it, or she'd have turned you down. It's supposed to be awkward. We're teenagers. Seriously, manga's not exactly real life, but reading stuff can help with this kind of thing?"

Miho Inada has posed:
    "Ok, yeah, sorry. It must seem like such a silly question to you two. I just hadn't thought of girls like that until Amy had asked me about it. After that, I thought about it, and what I said to her. Then I started seeing her a bit differently, but then there are times I pass boys, and blush a little.", she admits.

    "Either way, you're both right. Sorry about wasting your time. I'll excuse myself. I didn't mean to intrude.", she says. Miho sucks in a deep breath as she gathers her stuff.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"It's not silly, it's just-- we don't know you that well, and that's really personal?" Mamoru says helplessly, shrugging a little. The kitten protests, and Mamoru removes his hand from Usagi's back in order to cup the starting-to-squirm kitten in both hands and lower it carefully to the floor. It darts off. "Do you have friends you normally talk about this kind of thing with? I mean if not I understand, but seriously, I got a lot of my social skills from books, I cannot recommend them enough."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"No, it is a bit of a silly question," Usagi disagrees with Mamoru on this one, though there's an obvious effort to be kind in her voice and on her face. She's not looking at Miho like she's done something foolish, at least.

"Partially because Mamochan is right and we don't know you well, but also because - well... we're going to run into magic solutions to all kinds of problems, but they aren't usually problems within ourselves, if that makes sense?"

Miho Inada has posed:
    Miho shakes her head a bit. "Not really. I'm from Kyoto, and not exactly a social butterfly. I do most of my thinking while I'm exercising. Like when I'm running. Hell, back home, I'm more at home with my music and practice then with people.", she points out. The girl sighs a bit. "Yeah, and I guess, it was odd to ask. The only thing I knew for sure was that Mamoru is the only person I know who has a girlfriend slash wife, and boyfriends slash very close guy friends.", she admits. The girl shakes her head as she stands up.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
The older boy looks a little sheepish when Usagi disagrees-- they've been talking about this. About how he's too eager to gloss things over when he's the injured party, too eager to apologize, to make concessions, to soften blows. Takashi called him a soft touch when... oh, someone got hurt, maybe Hinoiri, and Double Trouble brought her to him, bleeding out-- or something--

Mamoru wrenches his attention back to the social crisis at hand, processing the rest of what Usagi said, and he's about to add to it, looking to Miho's face to gauge her reactions, when Miho speaks. He turns over, in his head, what he thinks, and he rests his fingertips briefly on Usagi's arm, eyes wide.

He hasn't the faintest idea what to say to that.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"What." Mamoru's contact with Usagi mostly just conveys that she too is bewildered. "I'm... what? You mean, on the sole basis of Mamochan being the only boy you know with a girlfriend, you thought he'd be willing to look into your mind and tell you your feelings?"

What.

"I... don't even know what to say to that, but, from one girl to another, you should talk to some girls? Or some friends if you're not close to any girls besides Amy-chan. And if you're not close to some girls besides Amy-chan, you should go make some friends."

Normally, she would offer to be friends, but, no, she thinks Miho needs to actually meet people.

Miho Inada has posed:
    Miho nods her head a little bit. She takes a deep breath as she looks around a bit. The girl gets up, and fuzzles a kitten that has been resting its head on her laptop bag. Miho puts her bag on, and gives a small bow. She sighs a bit. The girl heads out. Its clear her mind is a bit distracted, but she has a lot to process at the moment.
