- Minako Aino has posed:
The subway system had been providing them a rather decent place to hole up in the evenings, and other survivors were apparently doing the same. It was the thing to do. This particular stop they'd situated themselves at for the evening didn't have any survivors though. It was just an otherwise empty stop that was perfectly clean, neat, tidy, orderly. Everything one would expect of a 30th century utopia.
Sailor Venus was seated on the edge of the platform, legs dangling off, as she gazed into the darkness down the line. It wasn't as if she could really *see* anything that far but there wasn't anything else to stare at either. She's keeping watch, and absently running a small brush through her hair at the same time.
- Makoto Kino has posed:
It's a little eerie, to be honest.
A subway stop - even a subway stop *Of The Future!* - should have people coming and going. Trains at suitably punctual intervals. The station may be clean and orderly and all things it should be, but the quiet echoes through it. Sailor Jupiter still can't quite get comfortable with it.
She's joined Venus on watch, and now she wanders over from the other end of the stop to where Venus has taken her post. Somehow, she manages to keep herself from commenting that it seems too quiet... but she's definitely thinking it.
"Is it just me," she says, keeping her voice pitched low, "or is it almost weirder that it's so clean?"
- Minako Aino has posed:
The silence really was difficult to deal with. Not so much for Venus perhaps given her experience with it. Either way, when Jupiter speaks, it seems so very loud in spite of it not being true. Venus draws a deep breath as she pauses in tending her hair, letting her hands fall to her lap instead.
"It really is. I once visited a historical train station stop that was shut down. It was a bit like this. Very clean, orderly. Too perfect." With a little smile she turns to face her friend. "It was very pretty of course! It just felt ... Wrong." So did this place.
"How are you holding up?"
- Makoto Kino has posed:
"I'm all right." Jupiter offers back an answering smile, only a little lopsided. It's comforting to know she's not the only one who finds their surroundings slightly off. "I kind of wish I could feel the wind... but it'd be bad to be more out in the open than we have to.
Her shoulders lift and drop, a philosophical shrug. "How about you? You should take a break if you need one." She doesn't really expect Venus to do so, but she feels compelled to say it nonetheless.
- Minako Aino has posed:
"This is enough of a break for me," Venus assures Jupiter with a smile. The hairbrush she had is raised giving it a little wiggle indicating it. "Don't worry, I'm taking care of myself," comes her assurance as she pulls the other side of her hair forward to begin working at the ends of that length. It might not be as noticable while in henshin, but she'd prefer her hair didn't tangle up.
"Zoisite is gathering any seeds he finds. You could probably talk with him to see what plants he's going to try growing. I didn't realize you both had that hobby."
A pause comes, and she leeeans in closer to Jupiter with a teasing grin. Her voice drops just a bit. "Speaking of Shittenou... How are you doing with you-know-who?"
- Haruka Tenoh has posed:
With the senshi keeping watch there wasn't much of a chance for people to sneak up - but the two individuals stepping forward out of the shadows weren't looking to do that, anyways. Two more sailor-suited soldiers, boots on the ground echoing in the empty subway, make their way forward - their presence announced by the glowing light of Uranus' sword acting like a flashlight before theyu make their way around the corner. Both of them have the occasional tear in their outfits, largely their gloves, indicating they didn't simply saunter their way here after everything else was dealt with, but otherwise, Uranus and Neptune have mostly their expected demeanor as they walk up.
"Yo." says Uranus as she raises her hand in hello - well, the hand not wielding the sword. "Is everyone doing alright?"
"Or at least as alright as one can be after a fun-filled day walking around a post-apocalyptic alternate timeline future?" Neptune adds.
- Nephrite has posed:
Bootfalls held a very faint echo, down in the darkness of the line. Approaching at a steady pace but moving quietly, and without light. The tunnel ahead was partially collapsed, and indeed, there were no survivors to be found.
Thankfully, there was nothing too heinous hiding up ahead either, other than the gruesome fate of a particular train and whoever was on it. The scent of death was invisible to him, now. He'd grown too used to it.
He hefted the small bag he carried, and kept on towards the voices of the Senshi ahead.
- Makoto Kino has posed:
Jupiter doesn't seem entirely convinced by Venus's reassurance, but she is at least willing to be distracted. "Seeds from an alternate future..." she muses, interest caught by the prospect. "I wonder if he intends to plant them in the roof garden?" She's not given long before Venus leans in, and Jupiter's back stiffens at the teasing, her cheeks turning pink. "What are you, using the cats at the cafe as informants or something?"
This is, of course, when more of their number begin to converge, leaving Mako hastily grabbing for something resembling poise in the face of the older Outer Senshi. "Pretty all right," she says. "It's been quiet." For the second time, she bites her tongue and does not say aloud the words that would only invite disaster.
Instead she looks away, toward the sound of Nephrite's approaching footsteps down the tunnel. Unconsciously her stance shifts subtly - preparing to move, just in case. But the figure that emerges from the shadows is a familiar one, and she relaxes just as minutely.
The side of her foot nudges against Venus's leg in a warning poke. Do not.
- Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I don't think he'd plant them on the roof garden," Sailor Moon says tiredly. She's been here too, though not on watch - attempting a little rest, after their many adventures, and she's giving up with so many people joining them, and the conversation at play. "Zoisite's pretty cautious, right? I bet planting weird future plants in the spot he wants to put his current plants would give him hives."
She doesn't know him, not well, so she could be wrong. But that's the impression she's gathered.
As Uranus and Neptune and then Nephrite too, approach, she smiles a little.
"We found survivors! Mamochan's probably still with them, even with healing everyone, he wanted to look out and try and check some things with his magic healing hands... how about you two? Doing okay? Spot anything interesting - or um, worrying - Nephrite?"
- Minako Aino has posed:
The response from Jupiter earns a Cheshire Grin from Venus. It's one that her friend knew well as it was a precursor far too often to teasing, or some hairbrained scheme, like spying on Usagi and Mamoru's dates.
The taller senshi is perhaps saved by the proverbial bell however when Uranus and Neptune show up from the direction that Venus had been staring down not so long ago. Another sweep of the brush is run through her hair even as she nods toward the worse-for-wear pair. She was neat and clean herself! Of course there was a reason for that. "Turns out future bathrooms are self-cleaning, and still working. Plus there's a couch in there and even a snack dispenser. In case you want to clean up a bit." She may not be as familiar with the Outers as the Inners, but she had a feeling Neptune at least would leap at the chance to tidy herself up some.
It's the bump to her foot that causes her to jerk her attention in the other direction toward the approaching Nephrite. "Zoisite refusing to come underground?" She assumes with a friendly enough nod in his direction.
- Nephrite has posed:
"Yeah, it's me." He sounds almost as tired as Sailor Moon, his tone a little flatter than usual as he steps out across the tracks. It's made even more evident by the unconscious rubbing at his eye, but the bag that he's carrying at his side bears a graphic like a coffee cup.
"Cautious isn't exactly the word, but I trust he knows better than to cross-pollinate anything too concerning," Nephrite muses to Sailor Moon, and glances next to Venus with a roll of his shoulder, "I lost track of him a little while ago after he went to scout... Gods know where he ran off to. Not a bathroom, at any rate."
He sighed, drawing closer. Sapphire eyes fell upon Jupiter, and he offered a small smile to her. He lifted his small bag now. "But, the subways trains seem to have had cafes on board, and I managed to find some canned coffee."
- Haruka Tenoh has posed:
"It's too quiet." Uranus says, fimrly and grimly, nodding. "We found some youma, some monsters, but only dealt with waht we had to." she says.
Neptune merely points a gloved hand at the bathroom and heads off to do take advantage of it - she's not been as actively fighting as Uranus and she's never been as comfortable looking battle-damaged and worn. For the moment, this leaves the other Outer alone.
Uranus smiles a little in her direction and then turns back to the group. "So, this is not the greatest field trip ever." she says, softly. "I probably should have asked sooner but... long-term, what's the plan? Are we going to like... try to form a resistance up or just go for the heart of this hellhole and try to fix it?" she asks.
"I don't mind either way I'm just... trying to figure out what's up." she says. She'd be a lot more worried about Pluto and Saturn, but communicators are a huge help there. "Is the lil pink sleeping?"
- Makoto Kino has posed:
Sailor Jupiter makes an extremely mature and dignified face in response to Venus's grin, before she turns her attention more fully to the others. A look of concern flickers across her face as she takes in the signs of fatigue and wear, but it's quickly tamped back, and she ventures a smile to answer Nephrite's.
Then Sailor Uranus speaks up, and Jupiter sighs. "I was trying not to say it," she admits. "Anyway, let's hear it for the subways and bathrooms of the future?" She says it with a certain wry incredulity: these are words that are really coming out of my mouth right now.
Then, "ah!" and without further explanation Jupiter breaks away from the little group long enough to half-jog back to where she left her bag, because of course she brought a bag. When she returns, it's with a carefully wrapped bundle in her hands. "If anybody's going to have some of that coffee now," she says brightly, "it's best to have something with it, right?"
Long-term plans, Sailor Jupiter does not have. But she can at least offer food.
- Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I don't think there's any kind of resistance that can fight, not on Earth," Sailor Moon admits quietly, and she shakes her head at the mention of hearing it for the subways and bathrooms of the future. They are definitely living in strange and unprecedented times, that's for certain. "The survivors we found are all - pretty shell-shocked, at least, the ones who are um, younger, than Junichi-kun..."
This world had been peaceful. This - future, had been one where no one really even knew how to fight, except for the future selves of a portion of those in this room.
"But - I think the plan now, is to get to the Crystal Palace... see how Chibiusa's Mama and Papa are. The Crystal Palace was safe, which means - if we can get in there, we might find something useful... and aside from that?" Her lips twist in a grimace. "We've got to finish the fight, don't we?"
- Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus tucks the small brush she'd been using away in favor of freeing up her hands once more people start to arrive. She'd had the luxury of having a bit of time to rest and look composed. That didn't mean she wasn't tired enough to be eyeing the coffee that Nephrite had found with the look of someone who desperately needed a cup.
Careful not to slip off the edge of the platform she rises to her feet moving away from the drop down to the tracks below. "Yeah. I think that's about it. Help anyone we can find along the way, but otherwise that's our best bet. Even if-"
Her words cut off as a worried expression finally flickers over her face causing her eyebrows to knit together in concern. A gaze she fixes on Sailor Moon a moment as she decides not to finish that thought. Pointing out that her future-self would likely have already been out helping survivors by now, if they were okay, doesn't need to be spoken aloud.
Jupiter's return is for this reason a stroke of pure luck. "That sounds like an amazing idea. Caffiene and snacks."
- Nephrite has posed:
Moving to hand out the cans, Nephrite squinted at them in the dark, passing them out to each according to preferences. "Let's see... this one's a mocha, if anyone wants it." He took another and offered it to Sailor Moon. "Here. Sweetened double espresso." Sorely needed, he suspected.
Sailor Venus, too, despite her pep-- he hadn't missed the look. Without another word, he steps closer to set a can into her hand as well, and nods.
No, it doesn't need to be said. But he inclines his head, "We are the resistance... and that'll have to be enough. Uranus. Coffee?"
- Haruka Tenoh has posed:
"Well, coffee and food go a long way towards accomplishing whatever goals we have, that's for sure." Uranus says with a soft smile as she looks around. "I'm... admittedly starting to wonder what we're doing in the future. Like. The soldiers, the Shitennou, you'd think we'd be stronger in the future... but since I'm here I guess I kinda have to hope we're not, otherwise we're in a lot of trouble." she says bluntly.
"You know, normally, I'm not much for coffee that isn't about half sugar, but considering the circumstances, I don't think I'm even gonna taste it anyways. So yes, please, if you would." she says with a smile.
- Makoto Kino has posed:
The snacks are, duly, also unwrapped and offered around to whoever wants some. Cookies - chewy things studded in sesame seeds, with a nutty and faintly spicy flavor to them. Only once she's made sure everyone's had a chance to get some food, or turn it down, does Jupiter move to claim one of the cans of coffee from Nephrite.
"We'll just have to see whatever there is to see once we get to the Palace," she says. "There's a lot we still don't know... but one way or another, there'll be something we can do."
- Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"You are a god among men and the second best Shitennou," Sailor Moon says fervently, accepting that sweetened double expresso with all the bordering-on-tearful relief of the recently converted. Caffeine has never done much for her, but this is the post-apocalypse and she needs it to be different this time. Especially with sugar involved!
She downs a third of it in a series of long swallows, and barely stifles a moan of contentment at the sweet, sweet taste of something genuinely not very good for you.
That she follows this up by chowing down on Sailor Jupiter's provided cookies (but a limited quantity! not being greedy!) is very expected.
"Mako-chan... these are even better here," because they're a bit of sweetness in the midst of all the terrible, but you know,,,
And then she considers Uranus' frank statement, and - winces, a little, casting an apologetic glance Nephrite's way. "The Shitennou at least... don't seem to be here. The rest of us - I don't think we're in a good way, because Junichi-kun wouldn't answer my questions like, directly?"
- Minako Aino has posed:
"You're a god among men, and just about as cute," Venus gushes when he hands the can over to her. It's only slightly different from Sailor Moon's own declaration of pure unadulterated relief to have the can held in her grasp. Even if it was room temp. Who cared? It was drinkable.
The can is cracked open only to allow a moment of inhaling the familiar scent. Even if it wasn't her favorite sort she wasn't being picky right now at all: She was trying to maintain a composed appearance so the others could rest more. So that Usagi could rest a bit.
"Yeah, I'm hoping that we can at least get some more information on the situation once we get to the castle. There's no weapons around here. Maybe there, though. They just weren't expecting all of-" Her hand sweeps around gesturing without actually pointing at anything in particular. "THIS to happen when that black crystal 'asteroid' fell."
With that she gulps a mouthful of coffee only to follow it up by shoveling in one of Mako's cookies with a blissfull little groan of enjoyment.
Was there an echo?
- Nephrite has posed:
"You're in luck," Nephrite sent a can Sailor Uranus' way, though returned a grin to Sailor Moon, "I also grabbed a fistful of sugar packets while I was there."
A little basic, but good emergency energy, and especially for any suvivors that were injured or struggling until healing could be arranged. Enough to keep moving on, in a short and quick delivery.
A cream-coloured can goes to Jupiter, as grateful trade for a cookie, and for a moment he's distracted by the flavour of it. Simple thing that it is, made by her hands, it's comforting in a way that no futuristic snack could possibly match. A sigh leaves his nose as he swallows a bite, and he nods.
"Ojiisan was very surprised to see his 'young King' with a personal guard," Nephrite supplies mutedly, letting his gaze focus upon his cookie for the moment in a distant way, "Suffice to say... The Shitennou have had very little place in however this future unfolded. This world has had a long and prosperous peace, and for better or worse, we were notably absent from it."
Whatever that may have implied, or not. But it felt like another failure, to him. Another unfortunate smear upon their honour to make up for. But he tried not to dwell upon that, just now. His gaze lifted towards Jupiter, first, but flit back towards Uranus. "If we were ever reborn, but separated from our stones? We'd have faired no better than anyone else, here. We may have lived and died, already, and been unable to help."
And that, especially, settled a small dread in his chest. Shame. Frustration. Grief.
He took another bite of cookie, to assuage it. He was here, now. "He was very cagey, though. Ojiisan..."
- Haruka Tenoh has posed:
The other two blondes handle the effusive praise for their coffee Fabio, and so Uranus just takes the coffe with a solemn expression. "Thank you, Nephrite, for this succor in such a trying time." she says, before blowing on it.
Neptune returns from the bathroom, at about this time. "I heard there was coffee, oh please tell me it's still up for grabs." She says, a hint of desperation in her voice.
"Worst case we can share?" offers Uranus, after drinking a bit. "Besides, you know coffee is much more your thing than mine."
She passes the cup to Neptune and returns to the conversation. "Survivors are good, but this place is a total mess. It's not just the people, the wind and waves are crying too." Uranus says, solemnly. "...basically everything sucks." she adds, less solemnly.
- Makoto Kino has posed:
Sailor Jupiter glances from Moon to Venus, unaccountably flustered for a moment by their effusive reactions. "Looks like you're everyone's hero right now," she tells Nephrite as she accepts the can from him, a bubble of restrained laughter hitching in her voice. "Thank you."
She takes a moment to pop the can open and have a long sip of coffee. A bite of a cookie follows it, sweet to mellow the bitter. The conversation has gotten heavy; her eyes slide from Sailor Moon, to Uranus, and back to Nephrite again, her forehead slowly creasing as her brows draw together.
"It sure seems that way," she says in the wake of Sailor Uranus's sum-up. "Although... if the four of you weren't here, then maybe that's part of how things ended up like this."
- Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Getting dropped into the thick of a trip to an unknown place unexpectedly is generally a recpie for disaster.
Or at the very least, for a HORRIBLE time.
To which Sailor Pluto can at this moment attest.
When the wave of droids came in shortly after everyone's arrival, Pluto found herself unfortunately cut off from everyone else.
While less than ideal...she's at least used to working on her own...so while the situation was DIRE, it wasn't untenable.
Since then, it's been an exercise in attempting to sneak, learning that droid senses are inconsistent...getting into running battles...losing pursuit...and then starting the cycle all over again.
All while making her way in the general direction of the castle.
Which, granted, is one of the reasons why getting there is so hard.
The enemy knows where she's TRYING to go, after all...and they know the terrain far better than she at the moment.
Still, she managed to lose her latest batch of pursuers a while back...and then decided to see if she'd have better luck going subsurface at least part of the way.
Thus, she's in the tunnels, heading down one of the access ledges along the main tunnel when something grabs her attention.
COFFEE.
The smell of coffee is one that can be detected from a VERY long way away...and...well...Pluto hasn't had her fix in far longer than she'd like.
So she approaches the small group...a blob of dark colors in the dark of the tunnel...and oddly enough, one NOT making a sound as it moves.
Finally, though, she steps out into the light a short distance away...and at first glance, she looks rather like she hasn't had any hardship at all.
Fuku whole, no tears, not a hair out of place.
A sharper eye (or one more familiar with her), however, will note that her uniform is indeed damaged...it's just had some quick seamstress work to make such less obvious.
Similarly noticable are a few subtle, minor smudges...as if she'd wiped her face clean but missed a spot or two since she had no mirror.
Her voice, however, betrays a bit more that she's putting on a brave front as she says, "...if you have enough coffee there for another, I'll kiss you."
There's a slight pause, then she goes on, "...or buy you a house."
"...or both."
"...take your pick."
- Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus keeps her hands wrapped around her can of coffee once the cookie is elminated. Deliciously so. It's about now that her eyes have begun to sag though: The mix of sugar and caffiene wa one to help keep awake and energized, but at the same time, a comfort of home was just too relaxing as well.
Biting her lower lip to repress a yawn she blinks rapidly trying to focus her gaze again. "Pluto, good to see you're okay, too!"
It's now the yawn comes and she ducks her head trying to hide it. There was no hiding it now though: She needed to rest.
With a defeated sigh she steps in closer to Sailor Moon to plop her chin down on her friend's shoulder with a grumble of, "I just need to shut my eyes for a few minutes." They already were shut at this point. Seeming less like a composed general and more like one of those inflatable noodle people at car lots, she wobbles her way to plop down somewhere out of the way.
- Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Everything really sucks," Sailor Moon agrees, sighing quietly. "I wish - we could see it all fixed up. And I'm sure we will, because we'll save the day, and fix Chibiusa-chan's home -"
She has chosen to have faith in this, to believe in this.
"But for now, it really sucks that we can see - all these ways this place was good, and now it's - "
A figure appears, soundless, and it's - "Suna-san!"
Sailor Moon nearly hops to her feet, but there's Venus, leaning against her, anchoring her, and she reaches up for her, supporting her until she decides to slink further into their temporary safety and seek a place to rest for a while.
- Nephrite has posed:
"Maybe." Jupiter's attempt to comfort him receives a small smile, though it is still weighed down by his internal thoughts. He is grateful, at the very least, that his own feelings on the matter don't seem to be shared by the Sailor Senshi around him. That is a boon that means more than they likely know.
With a blink, though, he turns to see Sailor Pluto emerging, and his brows rise. This, too, provides some distraction. He's taken aback for a moment, until words catch up to him-- He doesn't know the girl well, but he can pick up something in her tone. The strain. His brows knit together a little, and he takes up the can of mocha, holding it out for her to take.
"I'm good on both of those fronts," he murmurs with a half smile, "Between godhood and being told how handsome I am, I think my ego may hit critical mass if I accept anything else."
The bag is held out towards Neptune as well. "Lucky last, Neptune. Take it."
- Haruka Tenoh has posed:
"Well, I have to figure if anybody can defy bad ends it's us, right?" Uranus offers. "I mean. The guy who just gave me coffee tried to stab me." she notes, taking her coffee back from Neptune as the woman's offered her own.
"You need to clarify that he tried to stab you at a time you didn't deserve it for trying to flirt with his girlfriend or something." Neptune says to Uranus. "Otherwise, people will assume you're the one in the wrong." she says with a wink, and then does take the offered supplies.
"It's good to see you, Pluto-san." Neptune continues. "I do hope everything's alright, given this is... a different timestream, I think you'd call it?" The teal haired woman offers. "It's why we didn't directly bring you with us." she says. "Saturn-chan is resting well, at least. She told me fighting takes a lot out of her. She's not used to it - Not as a Senshi, anyways."
Uranus looks around. "You'd think this sort of thing would have called out their Saturn, don't you?" she wonders aloud.
- Makoto Kino has posed:
Sailor Jupiter starts visibly at the movement in her peripheral vision, pivoting sharply in place toward the direction of Sailor Pluto's approach. Whatever else might be going on, she is very much still on watch.
The sight of a fellow senshi has her easing back from full alert to merely watchful. Still, Jupiter seems stuck in place for a moment, a half a dozen different reactions flickering across her face in quick succession before she shakes her head and lets out a quiet, "Geez!" Gathering herself, she holds up the remaining cookies. "Here, if you'd like something to eat to go with the coffee. They're made with almond and sesame, so there's some protein to go with the sugar hit."
A beat; she glances over at Sailor Uranus. "Don't you think that's because it's not hopeless yet?"
- Setsuna Meiou has posed:
Sailor Pluto offers a bit of a smile and a small wave to Sailor Moon, waving the still conscious blonde to stay where she is.
When Nephrite hands her a can of mocha, the tallest Senshi gratefully accepts...and takes a long, obviously needed sip of caffinated beverage.
Upon Jupiter's offer of a cookie, the Guardian of Time then looks over at the green-fukued Senshi and gratefully accepts one of the offered cookies, "...Jupiter, when we get back home, remind me to do something really nice for you..."
Thus fortified by caffeine and snacks, Pluto lets out a releved sigh and leans up against a nearby wall before the Garnet Rod is sudddenly there to help her keep herself propped up, "...yes, well, I know we'd MEANT for me to stay behind, but as best I can tell, apparently when two Time Keys are dragged by their counterpart from the universe across the hall and to the left through the barrier between worlds, the woman they're metaphysically attatched to gets dragged along for the ride."
She takes another long pull of mocha, then sighs, "...I'd be mad at someONE or someTHING except I had literally NO idea that this would happen..."
Pluto then shrugs, "...not sure about Saturn, but the glance I got as we crossed the barrier says my counterpart is still stuck at the Gates...though since these Black Moon people seem to have some time travel ability, I can more or less understand why..."
- Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"...Chibiusa-chan didn't know about Saturn," Sailor Moon offers, quietly. "I don't know what that means, but... at the very least, I'm choosing to side with the it not being hopeless view. Because it's not."
She chomps into a cookie, with determination.
- Nephrite has posed:
Having forgone coffee now in his quiet supply of the others, Nephrite finishes his cookie and helps himself to another.
"Just as long as somebody makes sure I don't get killed in my sleep," Because Sleep is inevitably coming for him, with a vengeance, "I'll make sure I'm only stabbing people for justice... and as a warning."
As he bites into another cookie, a tired and almost content noise hums around it. He looks ready to collapse. "We'll get these bastards..." He murmurs.
- Haruka Tenoh has posed:
"I like the not hopeless view." Sailor Neptune says, nodding. "I'm going to go with that one unless there's good reason not to." she says.
"You guys want to take a break?" Uranus asks. "We can keep watch for a bit while you all go nod off." she suggests calmly.
"She's saying that because we already swapped off taking a nap while we waited for some of the Droids to pass by." Neptune notes. "So we've gotten sleep."
- Makoto Kino has posed:
"I'm still fresh," answers Sailor Jupiter with a little shake of her head. "I'll help keep watch for a little longer. But you guys--" her worried green eyes turn to Sailor Moon, and to Nephrite; "should definitely get some sleep. You've been working hard."
She knocks back a quick swallow from her can of coffee, and offers up her most reassuring smile. "Nothing will get past us, so for right now don't worry, and rest up."
