Cast of Characters: Bow, Coco Kiumi, Cho Konishi
Tinyplot: Princes and Princesses Prom

Bow has posed:
When finiding out that there are different events that draw out people that normally wouldn't go to the school for other things, Bow found himself with a thought. After all - what better way to get a hold of all of those Etherians that Adora had mentioned were over at Obsidian than to do an event at RHA that would:

A) Get their attention and tell them 'HEY, an Etherian set this up.
B) Would be something that none of them would skip for whatever reason.

After finishing his informational meeting and collecting a certain alicorn, there was time at the library and then - he suddenly found the idea in one of the older yearbooks! Having shown the yearbook around, he was told for his idea - he would need a sponsor in the student council to promote his idea to bring forward.

Which brought him to looking over the list of Student Council memembers, and one name stood out beyond all the others. They had met and gotten really close after all.

By that, he sat on Cho and held her down while Sailor Moon beat her with a triple escalation.

So, maybe she'd want to help! Which has brought him to the dorms, in patcular, the room of Cho, and her roommate Coco. There's a knock on the door, and the Etherian teenager waits for an answer.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
When Bow knocks on the door, he may hear the faint the faint clatter of claws on the ground before a second of silence before a slight thump can be heard as if something just fell to the ground.

And then the sound of claws against wood and the door slides open, revealing... an otter. That then proceeds to climb all over Bow sniffing and then lingering for several seconds when she comes into contact with Swiftwind, her eyelids covering all but a thin line. But then she jumps off, producing the same light thump before running off towards the room's inhabitants, nodding towards the pinkette and gazing intensely towards the blonde girl.

That then walks towards Luke saying with a smile "Hello, I am Coco Kiumi. Need any help?"

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi was, well... experimenting. She got a new makeup kit and was trying it out. She... still wasn't good. BUT! With a lot of help from her roommate (Who, frankly, had way more experience with her hair than Cho did), she was getting her hair to behave!

It was long and pink and perfect and she loved it and she could look in the mirror and not feel silly or dumb.

And now, she was trying a bit of makeup and--

"Stop eating my lipstick you little gremlin!" Cho yelled at Wuwu.

"Well stop buying flavored lipstick then!" Wuwu said as he scampered out of Cho's room!

Cho came running out, alas... she was wearing socks. And so she skidded and ran into the wall, rebounding off it a bit before shaking her head. "Gah! Get back here you troublemaker!"

Wuwu, meanwhile, scampered past and just raced UP poor Bow's leg and... "Hold this for me, okay bud?" And then just hid the lipstick in poor Bow's mouth...

As Cho came running after and-- Ah crud. Socks. Right. You could see the moment she realized she wasn't going to stop in time and was going to slam into both of them.

Bow has posed:
Outside the door, before the otter opens it, there's a small argument.

"Why aren't we back at your room? Do you have a TV?" the alicorn is asking.

"Because, Swiftwind, I have an idea, and this is important!"

"So is Charlotte and Rico!"

"Adora and Glimmer are far more... we'll talk about this later." Luke responds, "And no, I don't have a TV. I have a computer that Rashmi gave me."

"OH! I can binge the episodes I missed!" the alicorn is excited by this, clopping his hooves together.

Luke nudges the alicorn's belly with his foot. "You, Swiftwind, have been binging enough. We're going on a diet."

"But... but! You're so thin already!"

"By we, I mean you."

Swiftwind stares at Luke as the door is scratched on and Luke quickly, "Plushie form!"

"Not until you apologize."

"Now!" Luke hisses.

Flump. Swiftwind hits the ground just as the door is opened by the otter that peers out at them. Okay, this is not something that you see every day, but it's... his dark eyes go wide and sparkly brightly. "That is so adorable." He holds still as the otter starts sniffing over him. "Oh, I'm sorry, buddy, I didn't bring any treats with me!" comes his response to the creature's checking him out, and he was about to try to pet the little lithe creature.

But then the otter skitters off before Luke can geek out further on the idea, before it's replaced by a blonde girl. "Oh, hi! Yes, I was told that Cho lives here? Are you her roommate? I'm Luke Armbruster, and I wanted to talk to her about..."

And then behind Coco, chaos has erupted. The noises and sounds are hard to miss, and then there is Wuwu, scrambling up his leg and then shoving something in his mouth. There's a blink of his eyes as he gets a look of blue lines across his face and realizes it's cherry... and monkey flavored.

Why is this so terribly familiar?

And then just as Cho is sliding towards the pair, Luke reacts. His arms are suddenly around Coco's waist. "Sorry!" he says in advance as he bodily lifts the young woman - with relative ease, as he twists, trying to clear out the doorway, balancing Wuwu on his shoulders and back, Coco in his arms. And in a final twist to it all, his foot shifts.

Swiftwind's plush little body is swept under the foot and he lift-kicks the alicorn 'plush' at Cho's body to intercept her for the girl to land comfortably on? Maybe?

Swiftwind cries out as he's foot-flung at Cho. "Traitor!"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"Yes, I am her roommate, I will go get..." is all she has the time to say before she gets lifted out of the way and Swiftwind is flung at Cho in the incoming chaos. She slightly twists her body so she can see what's happening to her friend. "Are you ok?" she asks as she sees Cho's precarious state.

<<Cora, please help her!>> the mermaid urges telepathically at the sea otter. She scurries back in, and with a quick <<Ok!>> bites into a nearby minicarpet, tossing it with a twist of her head towards the pinkette, in a trajectory that's going to make it land in front of Cho, with the clear logic to provide her more attrition."Uhm, could you put me down please", Coco says to Luke, after turning back towards him.

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi squeaked and oh crud she was going to--

Oh, good, they were out of the way and-- SUDDEN PONY TOY! And carpet! She yelped, catching the former and hitting the latter and-- Bam. Hit the wall.

... Actually, though, it was better than she thought. The toy and carpet were... soft. So it dampened the hit. She then turned to glare at Wuwu. "Where is my--"

Aaaaand then saw Bow. She urked. Then looked down at the plushy she now held. And... "Wait, did you just talk?" she asked it. Then her eyes lit up. "OH! Magic people! Hi! I'm Cho Konishi. This is Coco Kiumi. Wuwu! You're paying me back for that lipstick," she snapped at him. "And please stop assaulting people."

"Ehhhhh..."

Cho rolled her eyes and then... started petting the tiny Swiftwind. "... Is your mascot a pegasus? That's so cute! Wanna trade? Wuwu is..." Pause. "Actually, I wouldn't wish Wuwu on my worst enemy. Come on in."

Then blinked and blushed. "Oh, uhhhh... sorry. For... all of this. Our place can get a... tiny... bit hectic... at times... eh... heh heh..."

Wuwu, took this chance to jump off Bow's shoulder, onto Coco's and then land on Cho's. She just glared at him.

"No. No petting for you. I'm petting the pony. Because *they're* behaved." Yes. Swiftwind got many scritches and pets.

Bow has posed:
"Mmmf." Bow comments at first when Coco asks to be put down. Because now that the crisis seems to have passed, for the moment, he can focus on why he's here. Right first things first. He sets Coco back on the ground, reaching up to pull the lipstick out of his mouth. He smacks his lips a few times to try to get the taste out of his mouth and ughs.

"Sorry about that," he offers to Coco. "I usually ask before grabbing someone. But my mouth was full." A small frown as he glances inwards, and draws in a breath. "We met. Library, I kinda sat on you? Except you were the one with something in your mouth at the time." Which, really, he should have expected that Wuwu would do it to him. But now that everything is being discussed.

"Hi Cho. I'm Luke. Or Bow. And hi, Coco. Nice to meet you!"

Swiftwind clears his throat with a whiny.

Oh. Right. "No, Swiftwind is not mine, he is my friend though - he belongs to Adora. I'm watching him for her." he explains, though Swiftwind's eyes are wibbling, "A real friend would let me binge my telenovels."

"No." Bow says flatly, his attention towards the others return. "Anyway, I wanted to talk to you about an idea from... back home. And hopefully get some feedback on it?" A clear ask of 'May I come in?' is not offered, but it's heavily implied.

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco has recognised Swiftwind, and the alicorn probably remembers her too, even if the circumstances back then were their own brand of chaotic, with the nocturnal challenge Catra had issued Adora, and after which she as She-Ra, Yellow Pearl Voice and Puella Red had rescued the youmafied person.

When she is let free, Coco smiles at him and says "Hey, Swiftwind, long time no see! I see you have met an old friend, I guess?" Coco tries guessing, since she certainly doesn't recall seeing Luke around in school and so they had to have met way before. "How are things?"

"It's ok, I understand the moment was a tad chaotic", Coco smiles at Luke. Then again, with Wuwu around it would be hard to pick a moment things weren't chaotic. "But it's ok, accidents happen, and you only had good intentions. Thanks for that. Wuwu is a bit hard to keep under control." And she certainly hasn't appreciated him jumping off of her like it was ok, even if it was probably a very minor act on the lists of his misbehaviours.

"Sure, do you want something to drink?" Coco offers as Luke wants to talk about having something to drink.

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi stared at Luke for a few moments, trying, desperately, to piece together what he said and... "O-oh! OH! You're... that boy! Oh. Wow! Cool! Nice to meet you! Under, ummm, better circumstances. Oh, right. Coco-chan is a mermaid. Just so you know. Tell your friends! Seriously. If they're magic, tell them. It's a thing. An annoying thing and she deserves better."

She walked into the apartment, still scritching the lil alicorn. "Come on in! So, what's the idea you had?" She'd sit down on the couch and Wuwu would hop off, racing off to climb onto the cupboards and scowl from above.

"Teleno... oh gosh. You shouldn't watch those, Swiftwind. They'll rot your brain. You should watch things like... documentaries. They're informative AND fun! Funmative!" ... She... she was not a good example of what people should do.

"Oh, right. Is your idea like... 'Student council' idea or 'Magical girl' idea? Cause like... I should probably get in the right mindset." Pause. "Scritching Swiftwind is the proper mindset for the latter."

Bow has posed:
Swiftwind latches onto Coco's greeting, the plush alicorn turning to face the mermaid in human form. "Do you have a television?" he asks, "I'm missing my daytime..."

"I told you we were cutting back on that, Swiftwind. You can ask Adora about it when we she returns to the school." Luke responds to Swiftwind, cutting him off before he can ask about watching television in the girls' dorm room.

"Can I stay here?" Swiftwind asks the pair, big alicorn eyes offered to the pair. But Cho has him and he's getting scritches, so for now, he is placated.

"I'm putting him on a diet and taking him out for exercise. Apparently Sunbreaker left him too long to his own devices and overfed him on apples." A small frown. "He needs more grains."

But they can come back to that as Cho states that Coco, as well, is a mermaid. "Oh, neat. There's mermaids where I come from as well. One of them is a Princess named Mermista and she's the guardian of The Pearl at Salineas, which is a powerful runestone that helped control the seas of Etheria..." he offers, but gets back on topic. "Kinda... both?"

"Adora told me that there are other Etherians that are within Obsidian. Some that were enemies. Some that are allies, but somehow changed?" he says, still confused by all this. "I wanted to see about drawing them out. And there was one event that Etheria and Radiant Heart share in common that could do it."

Opening the yearbook he borrowed, he flipped it open to a picture of a school dance/festival. "On Etheria, we hold a Princess Prom where the Princesses of Etheria and their friends and comrades gather to celebrate. I was wondering if we could do something similar here - and see if I could coax them out... and see what we're dealing with?"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
"Thanks, Cho", Coco smiles at her when she mentions to Luke the blonde girl is a mermaid. Her roommate never fails to look out for her. "Normally that wouldn't really matter since we mermaids don't spend time here, but since it does, Cho has been revealing it to everyone for me so it doesn't hurt me. She is really precious like that", Coco tells Luke smiling. Though, the mermaid would wish she found a way to make Cho worry less. She is under so much stress...

"Sorry, no television for you", Coco reprimands the winged familiar. "Cho is right, telenovelas are only good to confuse you", she backs up her friend. "Since you are going to be exercising, I suggest listening to podcasts during them. They are good alternatives to documentaries", she says. That way, he can consume informative content no matter what he is doing.

And Adora is not from here, apparently. "Oh, I didn't know Adora was from another world. That explains why I have never heard of feline people before outside of demons." She is almost sure Catra isn't a demon, at least.

Then Luke reveals he knows a mermaid, and a princess at that. What's more, she too has her own pearl. "A Mermaid Princess from another world? I can't wait to meet Mermista! What's the colour of her tail? Why is she keeping her Pearl with her kingdom? That seems counterintuitive. How can she transform if she is separated from it?"

"I understand!" Coco exclaims as Luke brings out his proposal. "We will host an event so grand your fellow Etherians will have no choice but to join in. You have my word as a Princess myself, of the South Pacific Ocean!"

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi nodded along. "Sorry, Swiftwind. No television to be had here. This is a househould of nerds. And trust me, staying here wouldn't be any better. We work out a lot. I'm a magical girl too, you know. I ride on a magical cloud that can only be ridden by the pure of heart." Pause. "And Wukong."

"HEY!" Wuwu objected.

"Though... wow. You have your own mermaid princesses back home? That's cool! I wouldn't have imagined that was a thing. I wonder if every world has magical mermaids with pearls?" It was more Coco's expertise, though, so she let her ask.

But ohhhh, the yearbook. She held out her hands, "May I?" she asked, looking over it. Well, Coco was all for it, buuuuut... Cho sighed. "I hope you understand an event like this requires a *lot* of preparation work. There's budgetting for decorations, snacks, making sure staff are paid for time watching over the event, not to mention ensuring there's enough time for the students to get it together." She hmmed. "I'll need a proper proposal, perhaps if you hosted a fund raiser or something?" she asked. Then...

"But, if you can get the proposal written out fully, I'll give you a template for it, and we can procure the funding... the Prince and Princess Prom shouldn't be too hard..." And there was a mischievous grin on her lips. Knowing Coco, wellllll... Funding would be doable. "If we make up a proper poster for it, make sure 'Prince and Princess' is in biiiiiiig letters. We do that? I think I can get enough of the student council to agree. So long as we have everything properly sorted, the school is generally pretty flexible towards this kinds of thing. Something about 'preparing students for the future' by supporting our initiatives and all that. So, I guess my biggest question for you, then... Is can you handle... *paperwork*?"

Bow has posed:
"Yeah! She had a teal tail, and she controlled water magic, was really... and I mean, really... well. Okay, she was a little sardonic. But she has a big heart." Bow pauses for a moment, as Coco explains that there is a connection to the pearl she has and he pauses. "Okay. So that's a longer story. And probably best if I..."

There's a look around. "If I had a visual aide!" And with that, he's looking around and comes across the fabled murder board of love. Fortuntaely for the girls, he has no idea who any of the people on there are, so they're safe! And apparently Bow doesn't rank, but... big sparkle eyes all of the sudden. "You're... you're matchmakers! That's cooler than the Fractal Flake!" he exclaims, before he turns and takes over a little area of the whiteboard, making sure not to ruin anyone's relationships.

"So, on Etheria, our weather and seismic activity are regulated by runestones. Seven runestones - there used to be eight..." And he draws a picture of Etheria and it's twelve moons. "First, the runestone that Adora has - the runestone of Power, is just a runestone that is the overall runestone over the rest of them, you need it to make the others work. It's what brought me here."

And then another figure is drawn of another. "This is Glimmer. She has moonstone in Bright Moon. She's a new Queen, used to be a Princess, and my other best friend outside Adora. And is rumored to be here as well." He draws the rest of them, explaining as he goes. "Frosta, the Fractal Flake in the Kingdom of Snows. Mermsista, the Pearl of Salineas. Perfumina, flowers and fauna, the Heart-Blossom in Plumeria. Scorpia, the Fright Zone. Don't let that fool you, she only looks scary. Great hugger. Controls lightning. There was a fire one - the Spirit Ember, but it was corrupted by it's Princess and lost it's connection to the heart of Etheria. So. That's how Etheria works, because there's no sun or stars where we are."

With that out of the way, he listens to Cho as she lays out everything that is needed to make a Prom work here. And he starts to pale a little. Paperwork?? His mortal nemesis! "I... I mean, I could try. If it gets Glimmer to appear? Or may helps patch up Adora and Catra and get them back that Adora wants where Catra falls in love with her all over again... well... bring on the papers!" he announces boldly.

"I know it will take time. And for now. It seems I have plenty of time. So... on Etheria, there's a saying. Can't go two villages without meeting a Princess of some type. So I'm totally good with it being Princes and Princesses!"

Coco Kiumi has posed:
Coco listens intently when Bow lines out the information about how his world works. So there was only a single pearl and a single princess, and the rest of them were stones of various power and connected to various beings. There was a fairy(?), a scorpion lady, a driad(?), and more she isn't sure she actually recognises.

She is a bit unsure how all things work if they don't carry their magical foci with them. How can they augment each other if they strength is so far away from each other? "I see, so that's the only pearl you have. Which goddess is the one regulating the system?" she inquires.

She then turns to Cho. "That's alright, leave all the funding to me! We mermaids have more than enough to live well. An event like this is more than good."

Cho Konishi has posed:
Cho Konishi nodded along and... "Wow..." she whispered. "That... that is a lot... your world has a lot of... stuff... eight of them, huh?"

"We don't need runestones here," Wuwu objected. "I'm way better than any runestone!"

Cho just rolled her eyes. He was a brat. Still... "It sounds like your home has... a lot of magic. A lot more than our world normally does. Heh. But uhh... I think you'll still like it here. Our magic is pretty cool! I'm Cure Wukong, by the way. The Monkey King." Pause. "Oh, and uhhh. The Monkey King can be a girl. In... case that's not obvious. So, be right back!" She hopped up and then ran off into her room. The sounds of a lot of shuffling and drawers opening can be heard and...

"Here!" she called, coming out with papers! And pens! "I'll help you fill all these out, okay? It's not too hard. We just need to calculate how many people are likely to attend, then..." Oh dear. She truly WAS a nerd... but... FOR ETHERIA, right?

Bow has posed:
"I mean, back where I'm from? I'm one of the few without magic." Luke admits with a mote of amusement. "I'd love to tell you everything about it... but it's probably better for another time. You know, one of those 'you need to know because Etheria is doing bad things to Earth' moments." he says with a small smirk, before he glances at all the papers that are coming out and being presented to him.

And more papers. And more. "I think I'd rather spend a week in the Crimson Wastes..." he starts to groan. No. He has to do this. Not just for Etheria. But for true love!

There's a glance to Swiftwind. "Come on, Swifty. I'll let you watch some TV while I fill these out."

The Alicorn ahas! "Then I shall accompany you!" he offers cheerfully, more than happy to accompany Luke now! "Thanks for having me over. It was nice to meet you both formally." And with that, he slips out the door.
