Scene #2960: Pooling Troubles

Coco Delrieu	It all happened far faster than anybody had been ready for, the result of contempt and glee that did not even want to waste a second of their renewed their teamwork. Having wandered far from Tokyo, the Black Beauty Sisters could only be happy that the mermaids had put the effort into rebuilding their kingdoms. They had little interest in the rubbles of empty buildings, even if it could still provide them with power that suited their need just fine. They had started moving very quickly to their interested destination: the Pool of Vows that provided the flow of magic for the South Pacific. The yellow mermaids could only stay away from the path of the ruinous sisters while they looked for the Pool, but immediately sent a messenger for the surface, one that would quickly call Coco back to fight against the duo. The yellow princess was still at the Pearl Pier when the messenger, a rather stubborn fairy of the corals that had been clinging to Hippo like glue insisted for her presence. Separating the two of them, Coco immediately delivered the fairy to Nikora's care, and immediately sent a message through a group chat of Radiant Heart mahoujin to quickly head to the Shed. <PHONE> Coco Delrieu texts: The Black Beauty Sisters are attacking the South Pacific. <PHONE> Coco Delrieu texts: Going to the Shed right now. <PHONE> Coco Delrieu texts: Pls, be quick! When anyone reaches the small building, they will find the corridor to the South Pacific already open, and Coco pacing back and forth in front of it, twisting their hands while occasionally glancing in the direction of the school.
Nanoha Takamachi	"But Yuuno, think of the fishies...." she says. Yuuno stares at Nanoha. "...I mean the Mermaids too, all the poor people! And the poor fishies and crabs and coral and and..." Yuuno sighs and comes along with Nanoha as she makes for the shed on hovering flier fins when she gets far enough away from the school, already transformed, with Yuuno perched on her shoulder, over it. "Hi! It's me!" she says. "Let's save the ocean!" she says with determination. "So. Uh. What's the plan. Do we need to swim? Or hold our breath?" she doesn't know how saving the ocean is gonna work, here. She asks as she looks to the corridor. "Are you alright, Coco-chan?" she asks, noticing her agitated state.
Amy Faust	They're attacking Coco's ''home?!'' ...Well, it's not actually surprising. Coco had explained, how the mermaid kingdoms have only a princess each for protection, and some not even that, none but herself experienced at battle. Amy starts running across campus, then decides that's too slow; transforming and leaping across the roofs in her uniform. She dashes in the door, hesitating for only half a step as she sees the portal is already open and adjusts course, nodding to Coco and running through. Pink sparkles cover the change from school uniform to an adjusted version of her outfit -- she still has the chestplate, and the bodysuit under it without arms and legs, and the gloves, kneepads and boots are removed; water shoes cover her feet for now and her soul gem is on a bracelet, her hair in low twintails to keep out of her face. To Nanoha, she calls back, "It basically works like air or water whatever's more convenient for you at the time in most ways! You move normally unless you ''want'' to swim. Magic!"
Usagi Tsukino	In life, there are two constants (for adults): death and taxes. For Mahoujin, the two constants are more like: interruptions and shenanigans. Usagi is in the middle of reading manga when she's supposed to be in the middle of homework when she gets the text messages, her cellphone beep-beep-beeping from under Luna's belly. Usagi eyes her advisor warily. "Luna..." "Usagi," Luna replies pleasantly. "Luna, someone's texting me..." "They are! And your homework isn't finished yet because you needed to read 'just one more' chapter." "What if it's an emergency?!" "You hate emergencies." "Okay, well, yes, but -" They argue about this for nearly five minutes while Usagi hurriedly finishes her worksheet, and then there's a flurry of complaints as to whose fault it is that Usagi is late to an emergency - But about ten minutes after Coco put out the call for help, Sailor Moon rushes through the Shed's doors. "I'm here to help, everyone!"
Ikiko Hisakata	The timing of the message was pretty fortuitous in Ikiko's case, as she had just finished feeding today's pack of strays. She arrives at the Shed at a jog, sliding the bags of (empty) supplies and food dishes off into a corner, then taps her necklace and says, "Lycan Locket!" (okay, so she's ''still'' not sure how her henshin would interact with miscellaneous stuff in her hands, and a friend's emergency isn't the time to experiment) One silvery glow later, Cute Wolf Tsukiko steps forward and gives Coco a brief hug. "Mermaid magic and friendship, probably," the wolfgirl remarks to the young devicer while nodding to Puella Red and Sailor Moon.
Madoka Kaname	Brai is playing games on Madoka's phone when she gets the notification. She tugs on her Chara Bearer's sleeve and says, "Coco-chan is asking for help." When Madoka takes the phone and looks at the text, she frowns. "It's them again." Lydian flails her tiny arms as she looks over Madoka's shoulder. "Haven't they caused enough trouble?!" Moments later, since The Shed isn't that far from Madoka's dorm, Hope Blossom (Lydian version) bursts through the door and up to Coco. She looks into the portal and says, "So it's right through this portal?" Glancing around at the other mahoujin who have arrived, she waves at each of them and says, "Hii~! Guess we're doing this now. Don't worry about swimming or breathing. Magic will take care of it."
Coco Delrieu	Coco isn't really feeling in any shape to be pacing like that, but she can't hold herself back. She doesn't want to know what the Black Beauty Sisters are gonna do once they have absorbed enough magic from her Kingdom. It took so long to get everyone back into their homes and for things to ease into a daily rhythm. She has no intention to let it happen again. She is ignoring the faint pulsing at her temples, and smiles when Nanoha first comes in. "You don't have to worry about breathing, and your magic is basically gonna act just like it would on land, but you can either walk on the floor, or swim if you want to get higher. Just think of it as if you can sorta fly." Can Nanoha normally fly? She doesn't remember, and either way, how it works should be still be clear enough. If not, she can take care of it, along the way. She hugs back the wolfgirl, and immediately points to the yellow portal coloured by rainbow swirls at the edges. "Thank you for coming. I know it's sudden. That will bring us to my home. It's still a bit of a walk, but not much more than from here to the end of the normal shed." She smiles at Ikiko and Madoka, and confirms the forner's idea. "Just about that." To the pinkette she says "It's the same as other times. Just a quick passage through the world of dreams." She quickly dives in, and waits at the other end for people to catch up. What awaits everyone is a large room, big enough to host about two hundred people with more than ample space to avoid bumping into each other. Water fills the room, and yet, there is a pool of water right at the center, perfectly separated from the one around and above. At the edge of the pool, there are two shadowy silhouettes, that are recognisable enough as the Black Beauty Sisters even for those who saw them during the assault of Gaito's palace. The taller one, Sheshe, is kneeling and dipping her hand into the pool, a grinning smile on her mostly featureless face. Yellow magical energy is moving from the pool up her arm, and after a few seconds, Mimi imitates her. Red and blue respectively are outlining their figures, growing more vivid each passing second. Coco grimaces as the room spins briefly, but she pushes back against the disorientation, and starts calling on the power of her Pearl. Curving her hands in a vague x-shape around her shell locket, yellow light radiates in around Coco, and a kaleidoscope of colour flourishes over her form. "Yellow Pearl Voice!" Soft light spreads from her, and her tail splits into two human legs, taking a solid stance on the ground. The rainbow energy glimmers and clings, warping into pale yellow boots that flow into overlapping fabric. Rising up, a golden yellow dress and a short yellow pleated skirt blossom onto her and her pearl gleams and expands, settling comfily into her hand as her trusty E-Pitch microphone, with the yellow jewel nestled safely in the head's center. "Black Beauty Sisters! I suggest you stop, right now!", she shouts at the duo. The Live Stage takes shape around her, and she sighs briefly at the support of the white sphere.
Madoka Kaname	After Coco goes through the portal, Hope Blossom follows suit. She's seen the South Pacific mermaid kingdom before, so it doesn't take her very long to get her bearings. Instead, she laser focuses on Sheshe and Mimi. They're draining from the Pool of Vows? Nope, that can't be allowed. Madoka draws back an arrow on her branchbow and aims it straight at Sheshe. "That's enough. Leave now. I'm not going to ask more than once." Her tone is firm, her eyes are focused, and she's fairly certain that this is going to turn into a fight no matter what she says or does. Her eyes glance towards Coco for a moment before looking back at the evil anglerfish girls. She fires her bow into the air and lets her pink magic arrow split into many more, all of them swirling overhead like a cloud. They hang there for now, ready to drop at any moment.
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha Takamachi head tilts. "I think I get it." "Don't worry I get it if Nanoha doesn't." says Yuuno. So that'll be enough. Nanoha shoots Yuuno a glare but the two look back to Coco because this doesn't look like a time to do a comedy skit, there's danger! Nanoha Takamachi makes through the corridor and ends up on the other side and 'woahs' this.. okay it doesn't feel much different. Yuuno kind of looks like he's holding his breath on reflex though before puffing it all out and gasping. "Okay. Okay so it just works then." he says. "I thought you said you got it!" Nanoha says innocently. Nevermind. When she arrives she throws up a round shield in front of herself and Coco, who seems to need a moment to give her a momentary reprieve to setup her round stage at least without worry of being interrupted. "Hey, you're outnumbered! There's only two of you. And there's like a bazillion us!" okay not a bazillion but there's enough! Yuuno clings tight to Nanoha's shoulder for now as as Nanoha lets herself push upwards, 'flying'... swimming... upwards!
Ikiko Hisakata	Tsukiko follows Coco into the portal, and while it'd be tempting to look around and enjoy the view, there's more important matters present. Two of them, to be precise. The wolfgirl torpedoes forward, taking advantage of the local movement magic and her prior (albeit brief) experience with benefitting from Flier Fin to take a very direct route towards the Black Beauty Sisters, lashing out with a quick kick at one of them before darting in a different direction. "Easiest time I've had maneuvering in three dimensions," Tsukiko remarks to nobody in particular before divebombing the other Black Beauty Sister.
Amy Faust	There's water... ''under'' water? How does that work? It's kinda Spongebob, isn't it? And then Amy sees Sheshe going for a drink and realizes OH THAT IS THE POOL THAT'S THE SOURCE OF MERFOLK MAGIC. What point is there in ''saying'' anything? Amy holds out her hand and BANGBANGBANGBANGBANG Fired from just in front of Amy's hand, little bits of superheated metal cross the distance between them in an instant, looking more like ultra-brief lines of light one might mistake for magic lasers if one weren't getting hit by them. The smoke from the explosions in front of her hand doesn't spread as much, because water, and yet the orange-hot bits of metal fly at their usual speed like they're in air. Also people aren't immediately deafened by whatever this sounds like in water, somehow. Magic! Still, at this range it's more an annoyance against a magical foe -- Amy just did the first thing she thought of, not wanting to give the sisters the chance to attack first. Everyone else... talks. Oh well. "Yeah. I'm not asking."
Glimmer Brightmoon	It wasn't very often when Glimmer was directed to help out the mermaids. So when she was called by Michel, she was expecting it to be about something work related. What she didn't expect was for him to ask her to go and HELP the mermaids. Apparently there was someone trying to destroy them, to take their power and well... she... was very enthusiastic about that. Of course. That enthusiasm promptly died around hour three of trying to locate these so-called 'problem makers'. She yawned and glanced toward Lady Bat, before giving a light shrug. "I don't know. Just feels like... eh... being... total pain in the butt..." she grumbled. "Starting to wonder if--" Then, however, the cauldron of hers FINALLY cleared. DID SHE FINALLY GET THE SPELL RIGHT?! "Nevermind! Thank you Shadowwea... actually, no, not thanking you." One helpful spell did not make up for a lifetime of EVERYTHING else she did. And there was SO MUCH. Just. So much. One rather... large teleportation spell later and they'd all find themselves illuminated in a bright, pink light from above, mere moments before there was an ominous hum and then a beam akin to a pink laser death cannon from above, aimed at the twin sisters. Ah, Glimmer was here. WAIT WHY WAS SHE HERE?! Oh. But she was helping. That was likely a good thing! Possibly. "HEY! Fishbreath! I'm here on behalf of Michel!" Glimmer called. Oh. so not good. "Says hands off the mermaids! Next shot won't be a warning shot!" Absolutely NOTHING about that last shot was a 'warning' shot. The queen, for the moment, at least, now hovered in the air, pink, magical wings spread out and suspending her there.
Usagi Tsukino	There's water under water, of course! Like underwater rivers and lakes, maybe the water is heavier because of all the magic? (Ami is going to be thrilled that watching documentaries is actually seeping knowledge into Usagi's skull, if Usagi ever remembers to tell her about this). he first thought that Usagi has is how beautiful it is, this rebuilt Mermaid Kingdom, that pool. Her second thought is: "The magic of that pool isn't for you! Black Beauty Sisters, if you wanted ''help'', you would come honestly and ask! Instead, you endanger everyone around you, all for your own selfish whims!" The justice speech might have continued, but then there is rapid firing from Amy, superheated metal firing like a mix of lasers and bullets, and she thrusts her hand up, calling the Crescent Wand to her. "If you want to live peacefully, we can help you. But if all you want is power so you can keep hurting people..." The center of that crescent begins to glow with silver light.
Coco Delrieu	Sheshe looks up from her position when the voices of the various magical girls start making themselves heard and overlap with each other. "You can't go for too long without the lot of you showing up. Has anybody told you that you are worse than hounds?" "One of them looks the part, Sister Sheshe", Mimi is quick to point out, snarking at Cute Wolf Tsukiko. "Maybe we should see if she will let us be for a treat?" "We should have brought some", the taller water demon agrees, and looks mockingly at the wolfgirl. "There is always a next time, isn't there?" Sheshe turns towards Hope Blossom with equal glee. "We are going to stay a little bit, though. The day isn't really complete without a concert, wouldn't you say? And thanks to that generous donation, we have an orchestra now." Sheshe's gaze darkens when Glimmer appears and mentions Michel. She has heard, of course. They had nothing to do but hear in all that time they were stuck. "We have no business with you or Obsidian. Not anymore. So get out, or we will treat you as well as a sparkle", the water demon orders. Both of them tilt their head at noticing the suspended cloud of arrows by Hope Blossom, but don't let it be. At a gesture by Mimi, a red Live Stage forms around them, and the two begin singing. Clarinets manifest at the sound of their voice, and they immediately fly at the arrows, clashing against all of them. "Did you really think we'd let those me?", Mimi sneers at the Chara Bearer. "And you can keep your help for yourself. You are going to need it, lots in fact", Sheshe adds, and red Live Stages appear all around, in a fashion not unlike the times Coco has seldom used that power. Coco tilts her head briefly at Glimmer's appearance. She doesn't get why she would be here either, but she doesn't really have the time to question it, and she ignores the eerily similar power. "Pichi Pichi Voice, Live Start!" Gliding through the waves the white yacht looks just like origami Where will the calming wind carry it? It becomes small Even though we are so close together I can't touch your feelings Make me believe it, confirm that we are for real I'll unlock the treasure chest for you and we can be more honest with each other Our feelings of frustrations will turn into courage And we'll be able to say "I love you" anytime Two of the red Stages get sent towards the Soldier of the Moon, trying to strike her before she can unleash that silver light. A third one meanwhile is sent at towards Nanoha and Coco, an immediate response to the gentle song and the harrowing effects of its melody on them. It gets intercepted by the solid shield the devicer has put up however, fading away with only a crack on the protection. "Hiding, are we?" Sheshe growls at Nanoha, grimacing at the purifying sound. She quickly gets shut up by the kick Cute Wolf Tsukiko delivers to her stomach, coughing out as she gets pushed back. "Sister Sheshe!" The other anglerfish demon shouts, and when she is divebombed, she grasps the Curse Hunter, gripping her in a tight, crushing embrace even as she gasps pained. "You won't be so lucky", Sheshe remarks when Amy sends her attack, and two more red Live Stages appear, crashing against her attack, and the second continues its path towards the Puella Magi.
Ikiko Hisakata	"I wouldn't even use your treats for ''compost''," Tsukiko snarks back at Mimi, although the wolfgirl's taunt turns into a yelp when the anglerfish demon counters with a tight grapple. Still, while Tsukiko is not having a good time getting crushed, she feistily does her best to make Mimi regret it, trying reverse headbutts, elbow jabs, and even snapping with her silvery fanglies at any limb that gets close to her mouth. More importantly, the wolfgirl keeps an eye on what her friends (or, in Glimmer's case, her enemies' enemy) are doing, so that if Mimi's grasp is broken due to an attack, she can dart away and regroup.
Madoka Kaname	Madoka's eyes widen with a bit of exasperation as the Black Beauty Sisters threaten them with a concern. She really doesn't care to hear the dark answer to mermaid song magic. Combat has started and red live stages are being thrown around, so Blossom decides to be mobile and jumps into the air until the jump becomes a swim. The cloud of pink arrows overhead start falling in a steady rain aiming to fall around Sheshe and Mimi, exploding in pink clouds as they get close. At the same time, Madoka herself takes quick shots at the two villains, so that they face her attacks from multiple angles. Glimmer gets a bit of side-eye from Hope Blossom because she's ''still'' kinda the enemy even if that's not true ''right now''. Does she trust her? Not really, but she ''hopes'' she intends to fully help. It does actually make sense that Michel wouldn't want them to mess up the mermaid kingdoms, though. After seeing Tsukiko get grabbed, the focus of Madoka's attacks turns exclusively towards Mimi, since the way her shots can home in and curve around things after being fired means she's decently suited to hit the enemy while avoiding friendly fire.
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha Takamachi uncasts her round shield, but leaves Coco's up a moment more before she has to drop it to move forward as the red live stages are intercepted by the shields, she calls off Shot Barrets without calling it out, the spell simple, cast without worry as balls of light appear behind her, before blasting off towards the Black Beauty sisters in a display of laser light! She's doing a strafing run? She's doing a strafing run, letting shot barrets just drop out of Raising Heart and turn into lasers. "It's called tactics. Not hiding." she says. "You should get some." she says with a smile. She means it! "If you want we can stop fighting and I can teach you! I'll run classes, it'll be fun!" she says. "Nanoha they wanna fight, not learn." says Yuuno. "I know but maybe it'll work." she whispers to him. It won't. But, well. She's an optimist! Always.
Usagi Tsukino	Sailor Moon leaps free of one of the red stages, but a second strikes her arm, nearly knocking the Crescent Wand free of her hand. Being under water like this is strange - she's wet but not, she's moving easily but feeling the faintest drag of the water, and she feels the impact, but isn't willing to let go - And she swings her whole body around to aim at the two Sisters. This isn't the right rod. She doesn't care. "Moon Princess Halation!" Pink and silver light blasts forward, the much stronger Finisher launching across the water, splitting it, and energy shrapnel fires around, scattering across the pools. "You're the ones who won't be so lucky. We offered you a chance, ''now'' we're making you ''get out of our friend's home''!"
Glimmer Brightmoon	"Ah, good to know," Glimmer said, pink light manifesting in her hands. "But I'm not here represting Obsidian today, just Michel. A little payback for some offered help. Not even using dark energy today." "... Wait, why are we underwat-- right, mermaids, I swear, it's like Mermista all over again," Glimmer said with a sigh before she disappeared before appearing RIGHT besides Mimi. "Puppy, close your eyes!" Before she just FLASHED right in Mimi's face. Only to then disappear in a flash of pink sparkles once more and re-appear in front of Sheshe, before she tried to sucker-punch her in the stomach, her fist erupting into a flash of pink laser blasting action. Then finally disappearing in another flash of pink sparkles to reappear out of the way of everyone else's attacks. "Though, frankly? If you're going to just try ignoring me? That's cool too. you can ask Catra how well that worked out for her when she tried it."
Amy Faust	Worse than hounds? "Sounds like you're saying we're good at our jobs!" Amy retorts. And they dare take a dig at Tsukiko?! "Rude! It's your ''manners'' that have gone to the dogs!" A concert? The Sisters' song, now with orchestral backing?! "No, no, no, no!" Amy protests, and then Glimmer shows up to help... ...the good guys? ...On behalf of ''Michel?!'' "...Did we cross dimensions? Are you Glimmer from ''another'' dimension where Michel's not evil?" Amy wonders. Oh no, Live Stages everywhere. They get to do that ''too'' now?! That feels so unfair! At least Coco's got music to counter them. "Ohh, that's music to my ears!" They defended against her 'elemental attack' (the... element of shaped charges, she guesses.) Amy makes a note to use weaker attacks to try and bait out the live stages. Bang! Another shot of bits of hypersonic metal at where the sisters are now, and then Amy launches herself off the floor and out of the Live Stage's way with a non-shaped explosion. "Neutron Piercer!" Amy's trajectory switches from a leaping arc to swimming through the water mid-jump, as she maneuvers around the extra Live Stages to take aim at the one Sheshe and Mimi are in, conjuring a massive artillery cannon and firing. From the 105mm barrel, something like a superheavy giant needle much thinner fires at the Live Stage (the pieces of discarding sabot vanishing into sparkles as they leave the barrel around it). Amy's seeing how hard it is to pierce. How many shots it takes. Four or five of these together is a finisher... her first two followup shots are a bit off-target, only glancing the edge of the field even if they don't move, but then her aim recovers, seeing how many it takes to break these Live Stages. (She's dismissing the recoilless cannon and then resummoning it when she fires each time, so she doesn't have to awkwardly aim the big heavy thing just point her arm the right way. Magic is such a cheat!
Coco Delrieu	"Is It this much of a shock? You should spend more time here", Sheshe taunts Glimmer while she is locked in a physical confrontation with her. Even if it's being rather one-sided as her continued teleports are making it hard to get a proper counter in. Dark energy surges around her, and a giant harpsichord appears in front of her with a repelling shockwave. "You aren't using dark energy? Let me then!" The huge instrument starts falling on Glimmer, the attack never reaches her: the Neutron Piercer by Puella Red does just that, breaking through the mass of dark energy swiftly. Only ineffective fragments fall down on Glimmer. Mimi meanwhile is trying her best not to let go of Tsukiko even as she takes the brunt of all of her attacks. Rather than a melody of darkness, what comes out of her mouth is a series of pained grunts. She really is not having a good time. Still she doesn't let go, and to go with her pressing grip, more clarinets appear in the air, aimed at the wolfgirl's back. Continuing to hold the Accursed is really hampering her ability to do anything else, though, and with the many pink arrows falling on her from everywhere, she quickly has to reconsider, especially when the arrows start falling where she has been bitten. "Get away, Mimi!", Sheshe yells, and a red Live Stage falls fast on Tsukiko while the other water demon swims in a different direction. Not that's doing her much good, as she is quickly using her painstakingly gained energy to continue intercepting Hope Blossom's attacks. "Has anybody told you that you are a pain?", the blue-tinted shadow vents at the pinkette. Coco's continued song is also making it hard to focus, delivering a musical impact that hurts them with every word, and purification joins purification when the Moon Princess Halation blasts both Sheshe and Mimi, completely shattering the remaining Live Stages. But the two demons get back together, and their red and blue auras mix together. "Enough is enough. We won't take any more energy from here, but you won't get to enjoy it." Baroque that shuts out the light Become a beautiful noise. Whispers of the black trap Sleep forever in the cradle. Slowly, awakening... Shadow of the heart within. Adorn crimson roses, Freeze the pearls. Now... together, let's unite our wishes. Surrender yourself to the great darkness. Heart-stealing Baroque Embraced by the waves of negativity, The world you once believed in Vanishes in an instant, soundlessly. Slowly, it draws near... Let us celebrate the time of the final coda. At the call of their joined voices, dark tendrils of dark energy, start lashing everywhere, trying to pierce through all of the heroes indiscriminately. "Enjoy our gift, we are out of here!", they exclaim, and disappear in a blur.
Ikiko Hisakata	Tsukiko closes her eyes at Glimmer's warning, then reopens them when the flash of light clears. The volley of clarinets are a bit faster than the Live Stage bombardment, clipping the wolfgirl's legs as she darts away from Mimi as the demon evades her sister's attack. "''So'' glad I don't have to actually use my legs here," Tsukiko winces as she ducks behind her friends. Not the worst injury she's had as a magical girl, but she's '''definitely''' going to be sore for the next several days. At least she can still dodge, but that's not going to help counter the dark energy tendrils.
Madoka Kaname	Hope Blossom smiles at Mimi and says, "Well, if fighting us is too hard, you can try being our friend instead." Being told by an enemy that she's a pain is a compliment in a way, and not one that she'll reject. What she is less receptive to is their parting gift in the form of an unholy melody and tendrils of darkness trying to get her. While she can technically swim here with little hindrance, she doesn't quite have the same mastery of moving through the oceans as she does of crossing over the ground and through air above. Instead she throws her branchbow at the nearest tendrils and creates more of them, letting those tank the blows for her, but they snap almost as quickly as they are touched. Eventually one of the dark tendrils gets her square in the gut, and she doubles over while wrapping her arms around her stomach. It's a good thing that the evil sisters are on the way out, because Madoka is still catching her breath. Once she starts to find it again she asks, "Is... everyone... okay?"
Nanoha Takamachi	Nanoha Takamachi lets her strafing run go, and then blinks at the song. Before a final tendril of dark energy lashes out and smacks her clear out of the sky, making her spin and have to fall.... slowly through the water down... because she isn't about to smack into the ground in water. No way. She casts flier fin though out of pure trained reflex though in the moment of panic anyways and then looks around as she whews and grips her other shoulder. "Ah---it got me." she says as Yuuno looks worried as Nanoha descends. "They hit me. That hurt..." she says as she frowns. "I hope it's just a small bruise or something..." she says.
Glimmer Brightmoon	Glimmer Brightmoon had to admit, after a second... maybe admitting that she was here sans dark energy? Noooot her smartest move. But hey, she was a princess of ACTION, not of thinking... On the upside, it seemed today she didn't have to experience said consequences, as the neutron piercer meant she didn't get hit by the consequences of her own actions. "Not much of a swimmer, honestly! More of a sparkler!" She launched a few more blasts of light, however, as the girls started singing, sending their dark energy out, she really wished she hadn't mentioned the 'no dark energy' thing. One of them grabbed her ankle and then just threw her. Luckily, water. Her wings spread out and, a moment later, she righted herself (albeit upside down), and disappeared once more in a flash of pink sparkles. This time appearing near Tsukiko. She put her hands together, forming an Etherian magical circle, she then pushed it down, the circle rolling out and forming a barrier at her feet, expanding out to encircle those who were close enough, and shield them from the tentacles attacks and protect them so they could strike back freely. "So, for the record? I won't defend everything Michel has done," Glimmer said. "But he's not pure evil, either. Believe it or not? He wants to keep the mermaid kingdoms safe almost as much as you guys do." There were just... well... Plenty of other things that others could disagree on. "But no. This doesn't mean I'm on your side, either. This is just... well. Common enemy, defending a place neither of us want to see being damaged. So don't read into it. We just align in this case, that's all."
Amy Faust	The world she once believed in? ''Believed in'' is rather generous. She's been skeptical the whole time. And she's ''mad''. They're getting away, and dark energy ''hurts'' -- cold and death and sweet like cavities, hatred for a world that wants her to be its loyal servant and she rejects that -- there's a flicker of dark multicolored magic, shaped like bat wings on Amy's back, but she's not sure just what she wishes on the sisters in revenge, and she's suddenly very tired, and her heart's not quite in it, and it fades, leaving her drifting in the water. "Nngh... I think I need a rest..."
Usagi Tsukino	Purification is still a powerful weapon against those like the Black Beauty Sisters, and Usagi is grateful for that, even as she's shaking her arm out and then tenderly poking at her own torso, prodding bruises to make sure they're ''just'' bruises. Maybe that's why she's not ready for it when the tendrils lash out, and they knock her down, leaving Sailor Moon briefly sprawled on the floor, eyes on the ocean above. By the time she's back on her feet, it's all over. "Ugh," she groans, "They're always such ''jerks''... but at least they're gone, and we're all ''okay'', I think... Coco-chan, is everything okay here? Is the pool going to be okay, even if they touched it?" Important questions first. Only after that does she turn her attention to Glimmer, grimly eyeing her and hearing her out. Michel wanted to protect the Mermaid Kingdoms, huh? That seemed unlikely, with him eating a whole princess' life force, but... maybe it's true.
Coco Delrieu	@emit The tendrils lash against the Live Stage Coco is in, and the sphere of white light cracks under the strength of the attack, fading in a myriad of sparkles. The impact continues against her stomach with a force that breaks her out of her henshin, and leaves her in her mermaid form. With a strained gasp, she kicks just in time to avoid crashing against the floor, turning around to find the Black Beauty Sisters again. "They are... gone?", she forces the words out, looking around at every nook and corner. That is definitely a relief, although she can't shake the feeling that they lost more than won. "We can stop to rest not far from here", Coco suggests to the wolfgirl when she complains about her legs. Her dream corridor could only place them back at the Shed, and it is not the most comfortable place. And even though she doesn't know how her bruises will transfer to her human guise, she doesn't really want to find out yet. "I am ok... Sorta...", she replies to Madoka, but she could have done without her headache and the bruises joining their efforts. "I think we should rest here for a moment. They got you too...", she shoots Madoka a concerned look. The others' wounds are more important. She picks up that Nanoha can in fact fly, but doesn't really give it any weight right now. She grumbles quietly at Glimmer's words, but doesn't really move to deny them. The angel's actions aren't really making any sense to sense, and sending Glimmer here doesn't really help with the contradictions. And she is not going to turn the help down either. It would have gone much worse without the Etherian. "I think so", Coco turns to Usagi mumbling, swimming closer to the Moon Princess, though she wobbles a bit on the way. "I don't think they really drained all that much, and it's a magic provider, so it really only did what it was supposed to do, in a way..." The scowl on her face does nothing to hide her displeasure at the Sisters' sacrilege. "It will be fine. I am worried that they could work out part of my powers." She turns around, and kicks towards the giant door at the end of the room. "Let's rest for now. We can worry later. Come, follow me."
