Setsuna Meiou After nearly a month of procedures and measurements and fittings for Molly at the company doing her new bionic arm, this afternoon they finally got the final touches and install done.

Thus, Molly and Rashmi get a text from Setsuna:
"Heard Molly's final procedure went through. Are you two up for a new limb practice session/dinner/movie night? We can finally show Rashmi Star Wars like we'd planned. I've got a massive screen and I've laid in a good supply of snacks. Eating deliciate things will be an excellent motivation for Molly to practice, after all."
Molly Skyline A new arm: Attached. (Well, as attached as a removable prosthetic can possibly be.)

Battery: Charged. (That's a thing now, gottam make sure her arm is charged.)

Snacks: Acquired. (Even though Setsuna's definitely got some, Molly shows up with a bag full of chips and stuff. Also popcorn.)

At last, Molly arrives, and waits patiently after ringing the doorbell. A feat accomplished with her ''LEFT HAND'' -- though mostly done by getting the arm up to where she could just kind of clumsily stab at the little button until she managed to bonk it just the right way. Actually doing t hings like moving her fingers is... still a bit of a mystery, despite the month of practice. It's a sometimes, sometimes not kind of thing.

We'll get there.
Rashmi Terios << TXT to SETSUNA and MOLLY -- On my way! >> And of course her first stop is to a conbeni near Setsuna's neighborhood, to grab some courtesy cupcakes. The mood is only *slightly* dimmed when Nicomachea announces a glitch in the inventory patrix *after* she tries to store the first of the cupcakes, resulting in a mostly-flattened cupcake and a mess in dire need of a hurried cleaning.

A flare of golden sparkles behind Molly signals the arrival of Rashmi, a grocery bag in each hand and a smear of chocolate frosting on her sweater. "Hi, Molly-chan!" she chirps, trotting up to the doorstep and leaning to one side to get a better look at the arm. "Whaaaaa~! That's so neat!"

Maybe it'll take some practice, but seeing Molly one step closer to realizing her dream is *definitely* something to celebrate.
Setsuna Meiou When the two get to the Casa del Outer, the outer gate opens automatically for them, as does the front door just after Molly pushes the doorbell button.

As the door swings open, however, the short hallway beyond that leads to the kitchen area is, oddly, rather dark. What light there is is rather dim, and JUST enough to make out the shape of the hallway itself.

Before much moire reaction can be had, however, a sound can be heard coming from the far end of the hallway.

To those in the know, it's a VERY distinctive sound.

The sound of a ventilator taking air in, then after a beat, blowing it back out. It happens a second time...and then with an iconic snap/hiss sound, a red bar of light that appears to be a laser sword of some kind ignites into being, illuminating a tall, black-clad figure wearing a black came and concealing helmet.
Rashmi Terios Now, while Rashmi had never seen Star Wars before -- and not even a Star Trek, so she can't even tease her friends by getting things purposefully wrong -- she *is* aware of a few immutable facts of nature:

    * It is a wildly popular piece of American pop-culture.
    * Setsuna, and probably Molly, are very excited to see Rashmi experience it for the first time.
    * Setsuna has a cosplay hobby in the same way that basketball players have decent hand-eye coordination.
    * Setsuna is also privately an absolute gremlin.

So while she probably doesn't react to Darth Pluto *exactly* like any fan would... She *does* recognize Active Cosplay Gremlin Mode, and tilts her head, grinning. "...I'm guessing this guy's in the movie somewhere? Maybe near the end?"
Molly Skyline Hey, how come it's dark in he-- OHHHHHHHHHHHH.

Molly is entirely unable to supress a grin. Troubles with dreams, troubles with school, troubles with class catch-up, troubles with having one arm, troubles with learning about replacement arm, troubles with... well basically just everything all melt away at the sound of the respirator and the glowing red illumination. Also 'Rogue One' was fantastic and Molly will hear no argument.

"Lord Vader," she greets, forcing away her smile and adopting as serious a tone as she could manage. "I've brought you the Padawan we discussed. She is strong with the Force but she is not a Jedi ''yet''. I believe it is time to complete her training."
Setsuna Meiou The dark clad figure at the end of the hall pauses, then raises it's free hand a little, and in a voice that's not James Earl Jones' voice, but obviously someone doing their best to imitate it as well as possible, says, "...Excellent. We will complete her training, and then she shall join us and with our combined power, bring Geek and Nerdery to the school."

She pauses there for a few moments, then the lights come on normally, revealing Setsuna wearing a full Darth Vader outfit as she pulls the full helmet off and shakes her hair free, "...many things can be said about this costume, but it's not really designed for anyone with lots of hair."

She turns off her prop saber, sets it off to the side, then waves the two in, "Come on in, girls. I've got the entertainment system ready and snacks laid in."

Then she waves them through the archway into the entertainment room where she's got her two sectional couches pushed together in a half circle around a central table full of various snack foods.

Chips, Dips, Salsa, Veggie Plate, Charcuterie Board, Pigs in blankets, sausage pinwheels, little three bite sandwiches, donuts, aa fruit array, and a cooler full of ice and soda, "Grab a seat and we'll get started."

There's a slight pause, then she hands Molly a roll of paper towels, "Being practical, you'll probably need these at least once or twice tonight while you get dialed in with precisely controlling your new grip strength."
Molly Skyline Molly grins, ear to ear, in a manner that Rashmi and Setsuna have probably seen her accomplish maybe.... Well certainly less than a dozen times, since her rescue from the daimonic possession of Seriss Nyx. So, yeah, that was ''great''.

"Rashmi-chan, you are going to ''love'' this," she pronounces; she's stuck with that grin, plastered to her face for the moment as she follows Setsuna into the entertainment room which basically has the biggest TV that Molly has ever seen.

"That's the biggest TV I have ever seen," she asserts.

The chips and whatnot that she brought get unpacked and plopped down amongst the wonderful array of munchies that Setsuna has organized, and she accepts the paper towel with a grateful look. "Yeah, thank you." She shifts the roll from biological hand to prosthetic and cradles it against herself for the moment, "I uhh... am not the most coordinated yet. But we're getting there." She pauses. "I even tried playing a video game earlier. Crashed like ten times but managed to finish a lap after that."

A racing game, big surprise there.

The purplenette picks a seat and plops into it, arranging the paper towel to be well within reach. And she's still grinning.
Rashmi Terios The complaint about Darth helmet-hair is met with a delighted giggle, and as the girls approach Setsuna to get to the entertainment room, she mouths a fervent 'thank you' to the nurse, glancing aside at Molly's immense grin.

It's going to be a fun night, but that alone made it all worth it.

"If it helps," she says, setting her box of eleven cupcakes -- one noticeably absent -- with the rest of the snacks, "Nicomachea's been developing some... weird glitches." This, accompanied by a half-hearted swipe at the dried frosting on her sweater. "So you definitely won't be the only one feeling clumsy tonight. But that's awesome, Molly-chan!"
Setsuna Meiou Setsuna nods, "Well, one of the reasons for the big spread here...beyond just wanting to have plenty of snacks on hand, obviously...is that there's a wide variety of things that require different levels of dexterity and or grip to properly eat. Chips need some careful use, deviled eggs are a bit forgiving but obvious when squeezed too hard, grip too had on a filled donut and you'll know REAL quick, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. So plenty of practice available and if you mess up, you can eat the evidence."

After everyone gets settled in and has had a chance to grab some snacks of choiuce, Setsuna waves a hand at the screen in what Molly at least will recognize as Obi-Wan's Jedi mind trick gesture...and the room lights dim very slightly and the screen 'turns on'.

It's not easily seen at first, but there's that slight change that flat panels get when they're black but have been energized...and then the flat black changes a little as the numerous tiny lights of a starfield appear...and moments later that iconic title sequence appears on screen in conjunction with the main theme composed by the legendary John Williams.

                STAR WARS

As the title crawl begins, Setsuna grabs a drink and pops a few snacks in her mouth, happy to watch the other two as much as the movie she can likely quote from beginning to end.
Molly Skyline "Glitchy Nicomacea? That sounds awkward and if there's anything I can do to help, please please let me know, okay?"

...Ahhh, so this is not just a chance to finally show Star Wars to Rashmi, but also an opportunity to test out her new arm on all sorts of fiddly stuff. Setsuna's explaination makes that clear. Well, variously fiddly stuff. Most of it filled with varying levels of either salt or sugar, which honestly just makes Molly's teenage heart swell with joy for... Well for watching three movies in a row with ''snacks''.

As the legendary title scroll starts rolling up the screen, however, Molly just sits back and watches it. Can't interupt this; it's much too important, but once the last couple of words have made it to the top of the screen and passed on their way, the purplenette decides to try snacking on something within reach while the lasers immediately start flying. She picks a donut, and deliberately reaches for it with her prosthetic. She doesn't squish the lemon custard out of it, but she does promptly drop it in her lap -- snapping her legs together to stop it reaching the sofa -- and so finds herself already using up a piece of paper towel before trying again.

Three more tries and she gets to take a bite of it!
Rashmi Terios Snacks and drinks are gathered, and her favorite spot on the Couch Plaza settled into as the lights dim.

"A long time ago," she murmurs out loud, "in a galaxy far, far away..."

Then the John Williams kicks in, and it doesn't *entirely* drown out the startled yelp that accompanies Rashmi bobbling an entire unopened can of milk tea.

Happily, she gets everything under control in time to read the text crawl... which she does, eyes wide. Between the soaring score, and the 'coming in the middle of the story' not-actually-a-recap, Rashmi's attention is definitely, well and truly hooked.

At which point the Rebel Corvette plunges across the screen, followed by ship... and ship... and ship... and ship...

"Whaaaaaaa~!"
Setsuna Meiou As Rashmi takes the movie in and experiences it for the first time, Setsuna just leans back and smiles.

She has, of course, seen the movie many, many times before.

Heck, she saw the FIRST showing.

Truth be told, she's lost count of how many times she's seen this movie.

And for all that she still manages to get some enjoyment from a story well-told, by this point she far, FAR more enjoys the very rare occasion when she gets to introduce an appreciative audience to what has become one of the pillars of modern sci-fi.

Meanwhile, she also keeps a bit of an eye on Molly as well...making sure that she's not struggling too much with her new appliance and offering a bit of a help if she needs it.

Otherwise, she turns back and watches reactions at 3-PO's endless kvetching, the absolute adorable that is teenage Luke...seeing his hopes and dreams crushed...then the jawas...the droid sale...and finding R2's message.
Molly Skyline Molly, of course, had not spoiled the surprise about how quickly Darth Vader makes his entrance; and oh, what an ''entrance''. Most villains dream of making an entrance like that and establishing themselves so... thoroughly.

She does manage fairly well with the donut, though by the end of it she's cleaning jelly off her mechanical fingers. Luckily, they're designed for that; it'd be awkward to have a prosthetic hand that you can't... do hand stuff with, afterall. Just the same she cheats with the devilled eggs and picks them up with her right hand, before claiming some chips and working on them slowly with her new piece of hardware. And, sure, it'll never fully replace her original arm, but...

But she can definitely get used to this, what an improvement over not having an arm even not being used to it.

The purplenette's eye catches Setsuna's while she struggles with the donut, of course, but by the time she has the chips, she's peeking sideways at Rashmi from time to time... all to see how the redhead reacts to the Millennium Falcon blasting its way out of Mos Eisley.
Rashmi Terios The droids are absolutely lab-crafted to produce the giggles, acting like the most classic of classic comedy duos as they do. The Jawas are the first hint that the aliens of this movie might be *much* more human-tangential than most Japanese media would swing for, and their treatment of the duo very clearly unnerves her.

And Vader's entrance is, in fact, an *education* in villainous intimidation, despite all the real-world examples Rashmi has encountered.

"He's so *tall,*" is the first thing she says, hushed and amazed, and watches on in rapt silence as the Princess is menaced, then threatened, then possibly *tortured,* and the ruse of the 'empty life pod' seems to not even have worked a little.

The feeling of 'how are they gonna get out of this?' is going to be a *common* one, Rashmi suspects, and barely notices the snacks she's monching on in the process.

And as the Millennium Falcon blasts off toward orbit, it's writ large on the redhead's face, what even *can* happen next?
Setsuna Meiou From there, it's the early teaching of Luke to use the Force, the strategy advice of 'Let the Wookie Win', then Leia snarking at Moff Tarkin.

If Molly's looking over at Setsuna, as Leia says to Tarkin 'I recognized your foul stench when I was brought on board', Setsuna can instead be easily seen to be mouthing the words Leia speaks...except she quite clearly has heard the Star Wars pants lines, as she mouths 'foul pants' instead.

While Rashmi is suitably enraptured, Setsuna quietly moves to hand Molly some more napkins and polices any used ones, as well as any empty food containers, then silently fills glasses with ice.

Which leaves her to be sitting back down as 'millions of voices cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced'.
Molly Skyline Molly doesn't hardly notice Setsuna's activities -- and she's actually doing reasonably well with using her new hand to eat stuff, so the previous month of effort and carefully regulated practice must have paid off, even if she's still struggling a bit with some things. The devilled eggs of course are being eaten with her right hand because she just... doesn't... want to get egg on her new fingers. Or Setsuna's sofa. Or floor. Setsuna's efforts still get a very appreciative look, however, given silently so as not to interupt Rashmi's viewing experience.

When the millions of voices cry out and are silenced, the purplenette is looking sideways; she's seen this many times, and though it never gets old... she can't pass up watching a first time viewer seeing the destruction of Aalderan. So much so, that she pauses with a chip right between her teeth, holding off so that not even the soft ''crunch-crunch'' can risk intruding on the moment.
Rashmi Terios When one is a magical warrior, some things just... hit different, when viewed for the first time. The early Force training, Rashmi views with naked jealousy; it would have been nice if *she* had a teacher, back when she thought she had to read Nicomachea's *pages.* Leia's sassy defiance, she receives with the look of a kindred spirit.

But then Alderaan is destroyed.

Oh... watching everything they've all been fighting to keep from happening, just... *happening.*

Her hands are pressed over her mouth, eyes watering as Ben speaks of the voices crying out...

And then, silenced.

If the movie hadn't had her before, she is *locked in* now.
Setsuna Meiou From there it's the capture and tow of the Falcon, the reveal of the smuggler's compartments, then the dressing as stormtroopers while Ben goes off to do Obi Wan things.

After the control room gets captured and they find out about Leia (along with Luke's attempt to convince grouchy Han with '...she's RICH'), they then have the famous scene in the jail with an example of why you don't let Han ad-lib.

"Everything's under control, situation normal. (What happened?) Ah, had a slight weapons malfunction. But uh, everything's perfectly alright now. We're fine. We're all fine here. Now. Thank you. How are you? (We're sending a squad up.) Ah, negative, negative. We have uhhh...reactor leak here ahh now. Give us a few minutes to lock it down...ahhh...large leak, very dangerous. (Who is this? What's your operating number?) <Blasts Console> Boring conversation anyway...LUKE WE'RE GONNA HAVE COMPANY!"

From there it's more Leia sass with the 'Aren't you a little short to be a stormtrooper?', then her taking over her own rescue and the garbage disposal scene.
Molly Skyline Alright Molly has made it to half way through the movie using her left hand for all the snacks with the exception of the devilled eggs. She treas herself to a drink using her right, another egg using her right, and then sits back to lay off the snacks for at least a little bit. (The girl who eats everything in sight can manage to wait ten minutes before going straight back to the chips anyway.)

The purplenette sneaks a look towards Setsuna, knowing what's coming up shortly; the world's first ever on screen lightsaber duel!! And let's face it the first time she watched Star Wars that was absolutely the coolest thing she'd ever seen.

her eyes sneak back to Rashmi, watching her for a moment before passing some chips her way -- using her left arm to do it, and only spilling a few crumbs in Rashmi's lap in the process.

Inside, she's a bit of a jittery mess of excitement. Can't wait to talk but there shall be none of that during the movie! Not while someone's watching for the first time.
Rashmi Terios Huh, crumbs. Rashmi doesn't even look as she brushes them away; it could have been from Molly, it could have been from her, it could have been airdropped onto her lap by a passing Jawa for all she's paying attention. The exchange with Han at the prison control room has her *hooting* with laughter, even past Leia's rescue and subsequent commandeering of the rescue, only to be choked off at the garbage disposal.

"Lucas-sensei *really knows* how to swing a mood," she murmurs to her friends, absently sipping her juice.

But then it comes to Kenobi's delaying action, and by the dismayed look on Rashmi's face, she can already tell he's not coming back. She's read too many stories where the brave mentor lays down their life to stave off an enemy the heroes just aren't able to match...

OH SO THAT'S A LIGHTSABER FIGHT, OKAY. now so, so much makes sense.
Setsuna Meiou And finally, we get to the iconic lightsaber duel.

To modern eyes, it can easily a bit dated...a bit tame, even. But a sharp person will realize that this was the FIRST real laser sword duel...and it was what Gundam and so many many others built on.

And then we have Ben's 'death', Luke's freak out and Ben's voice telling Luke to run as the Falcon takes off and escapes to the Rebel Base at Yavin...and then the final briefing before the assault on the Death Star.

Which is RIGHT THERE and is an imminent threat to the base.

Setsuna meets Molly's eyes and smiles.

By this point she's watching Rashmi as much as she's watching the movie...though a glance at her will make it obvious she's not really missing anything as she's mouthing lines right along with most of the actors.
Molly Skyline Molly meets Setsuna's eyes at that precise moment, munching on chips and watching as she is, and paying close attention to Rashmi's reaction to everything going on. It's already demonstrated what this space station that's not a moon can do, and now it's here on the heroes' doorstep. And they definitely haven't got much time.

Molly grins, alternating between drink and chips, and occasionally (with her right hand) passing food to Rashmi so she doesn't at any point have to unglue her eyeballs from the screen. Afterall, that wouldn't do.

There are a couple more fumbles as she works with her prosthetic, but hey, on the upside it's just chips so the only evidence of her clumsiness is crumbs, and that's not terrible.
Rashmi Terios Luckily for Molly, when 90% of your brain is locked on a screen, clumsiness abounds. Like when Rashmi just closes her entire hand around a deviled egg. Or when she needs three passes to get ahold of some cheese. None of these show even a moment's frustration or upset, however; she just glances sheepishly to one side, and tries her best to not *look* like she's licking whipped egg yolk off her fingers, to mixed success.

"Wait... where'd he go?!" blurts from her mouth as Old Ben just... disappears. *That* was an unexpected twist, but oh, she can see the DNA of this scene in what little not-fantasy anime she's seen.

Then the escape, and the briefing... *And then* there the Death Star is, its immense menace looming over the entire movie. And while Rashmi may not yet know *how* a slot opened up for Luke to take, her friends can actually *see* her leaning in time with the all-famous Trench Run.

Which makes sense; she may not be on Molly's level when it comes to aerial combat, the reflexes have been ground in *deep.*
Setsuna Meiou And then as the briefing ends it's the final battle.

"It's not impossible. I used to bullseye wamp rats in my T16 back home. They're not much bigger than two meters."

The tragic death of Jek Porkins.

"Luke! Trust your feelings."

"Switch all power to...front deflector screens. Switch all power to...front deflector screens."

"The guns, they've stopped."

"Stay on target...STAY on target..!"

"Evacuate? In our moment of triumph?! I think you overestimate their chances."

"...almost there...almost there..." "...negative...negative. It didn't go in. Just impacted on the surface."

The names that will be instantly identifiable to any Final Fantasy player of Biggs and Wedge.

"Use the Force, Luke. Let go, Luke." "The Force is strong with this one." "I have you NOW." "WHAT?!" "YEAH-HOOO!! You're all clear, kid. Let's blow this thing and head home!"

KABOOOM!

"Remember, the Force will be with you. Always."

And then we're to the final awards scene.

And Chewie not getting a medal.

Rude.
Molly Skyline "Chewie deserves a medal!" Molly blurts out, having contained herself through the entire movie but getting that out when the credits scroll begins. "And so does R2. Nobody else got hit by an anti-ship laser for the sake of the mission."

She has, of course, passed several pieces of paper towel to Rashmi as needed, and is secretly immensely gratified that she's not the only one having coordination issues. It's not like she didn't know everyone fumbles stuff, but seeing other people do it while she's having struggles it actually... pretty nice.

"OKay but!!" she declares, setting down drink and snacks, "Now that we've watched the first movie and you've met Luke and Leia and Han, and Darth Vader, and you've seen..." she trails off, blushing softly, "Okay I won't list off like ''everything'' but, like, how did you like it?" She grins, glancing past Rashmi to Setsuna, still grinning before casting her gaze back to Rashmi, hanging off the redhead's verdict.

And hey, there's still two more!
Rashmi Terios Throughout the entire last last shot Luke has, Rashmi is leaning further and further forward, eyes glued to the screen and fists balled, as though she could *will* the shot to its target. When the torpedoes drop into the exhaust port, she throws her hands straight up, and her body back into the couch. "YES!!! YES!!"

And then, it's all over but the celebrating, and medals abound-- "Hey! Why *didn't* he get one?!"

As the lights come on, she just sort of... goes boneless, sprawled on the couch, a slice of cheese held in her teeth, eyes wide. "That... was... Wow. *Wow.* I see why everyone likes it, to be sure!"
Setsuna Meiou Setsuna takes the moment to get up off the couch and stretch for a moment, "Yeah, the whole 'Chewie didn't get a medal.' thing was big for a while and then just kind of settled to a constant simmer."

She waves one gauntleted hand towards the screen, "And I suppose you'll also start noticing the many, many, many things that reference stuff from these."

She pauses and taps her chin, "...well, Episodes 4, 5, and 6 moreso than 1, 2, and 3."

She then shrugs, "...but at least a LITTLE of that is because those three have been around longer than the prequel movies."
Molly Skyline "The lightsaber duels improve a lot too," Molly chimes in. "Like, they made 'A New Hope' in the seventies. The ''beginning'' of the seventies, that is, and they just used a couple of glass tubes for the sabers so they couldn't actually ''touch'', which is why there were those bright flashes you saw during the duel? That was just effects they used to hide the fact that the sabers didn't touch each other while they were filming."

The purplenette grabs a donut and just picks it up with her left hand without thinking about it too hard, and she manages to get it on the first try. And sure a little bit of the raspberry filling gets squeezed out but it lands back in the donut box, so it's entirely okay as she feeds her face with it.

"Mmm!! And now you know why I like my lego Y-Wing so much. Those ships are ''way cooler'' than people give them credit for." So excited is Molly, she catches herself talking with her mouth full of donut. Rude!! She swallows, and ahems, blushing once again. "But yeah, I saw that movie for the first time back at the orphanage and we'd ''NEVER'' watched anything cool like that before, it was always just really... sappy and boring stuff, and suddenly we got to see ''that'' and it blew my mind."
Rashmi Terios "I'm compelled to note that the only game console we have, we had when I was growing up, and it's a purple PlayCube," Rashmi points out with a chuckle. "*Trust* me I'm no stranger to old effects that still hold up. And anyway the age of it doesn't matter because that was *amazing!* No wonder I see little bits of stuff from that everywhere, and fifty years is a *long time* to collect fans!"

Heaving up off the couch, she twists in place, stretching similarly to Setsuna. "Yeah wow I can *imagine* what that must've been like. Hey Setsuchan, you didn't happen to visit any of the sets, did you?"

To anyone else, that might be a dig at Setsuna's age. But Rashmi knows better; it's a *serious question.*
Setsuna Meiou Setsuna nods along as Molly explains about the lightsabers, "Oh, it's worse than that. By the time they were filming the prequels, the saber and blaster sounds were so well known and iconic that all the actors grew up hearing them...so when they were filming actors using the props, the sound guys had to repeatedly ask the jedi to stop making the 'vrrrr, vrrrrr' noises and everyone else to make the blaster sounds because the cameras can see it and they actually add the sounds in post."

At Rashmi's follow up question, Setsuna sighs a bit, "Sadly no. Back when they were being made, information was much harder to come by. In a lot of cases unless you were dialed into very specific news sources, it was hard to find out that a new movie was coming out until the trailers and early marketing started to drop, or I'd have snuck into most every one of the sound sets."

She blinks and looks off into space for a moment, "...actually, come to think of it, I might have rescued a prop or two before they got destroyed."

She frowns, "...if so, I'll have to go looking for it. I think that I put most things that small in a storage drawer somewhere, so it won't be readily at hand."

The taller woman then shrugs, "Something to go do someday."
Molly Skyline Molly awws softly, at the fact that Setsuna didn't get to visit a soundstage or anything like that. But, hey, the bit about having to ask actors in the prequels to stop making the lightsaber sounds and to please not say 'pew pew' when they pretended to fire their blasters, that brings a snorted laugh and a smirk to her face.

This is, notably, Molly at her happiest, which hasn't really been seen since before that day on the beach.

"Also, Rashmi, I had to clamp my mouth shut when you asked if Darth Vader was gonna be appearing at the end of the movie," she explains, "'Cause like, he makes his entrance right away, and ''what an entrance'', I swear every other villain in movie history wishes his entrance was that cool. They're all jealous. Real villains are jealous." She pauses, about to take another bite from the donut.

"So, you wanna watch 'The Empire Strikes Back'?"
Rashmi Terios That is a fact that is *indeed* fun, and behind Rashmi's giggles, she starts to wonder if she'll ever catch *herself* making pew pew noises, when she's firing off Barrets in the middle of a fight. That... would be embarrassing, but if ever it *does* happen then she'll just own it and move on.

Absolutely.

"*Seriously* what an entrance!" she enthuses at Molly. "Like there are *actual evil overlords I have met* that weren't as scary as he was!"

Bending to tidy up the snack detritus, she sets it aside on a corner of the table, and straightens at Molly's question. "...D'you really need to *ask?*"
