| Amy Faust | After the unexpexted youma fight and encounter with a talking cat that is nowhere to be found, the date could be continued if Miho was up for it. Yukihime did say she needed a kiss after that! Either way, though, they eventually return to the dorms. Living in the same building does throw the whole walk-home-see-you-off part of the script off a bit, though. "I mean, you don't ''actually'' have to go." Amy observes as she opens her door and steps inside, and then aside, motioning for Miho to come in if she likes. "You can come in and hang out if you want. Play games. Talk more. And we do not actually ''need'' to be on a date for kissing and cuddling..." That is possibly the closest Amy has ever come to flirting! Or maybe it just ''is'' flirting? She's not sure. What's the rubric for that? Amy does not know! |
| Miho Inada | Miho giggles a bit as she walks into Amy's room. "Amy-chan. You really need to work on your game a little bit. Inviting your date into your room after a date? Tease!", the girl goes as she winks at Amy a bit. She moves into the room. After a few seconds, she flops onto Amy's bed a bit. "I'm a little sore though. I should have wolfshielded, but I was thinking about attacking that woman.", Miho explains. The girl winces a bit as several bruises are seen on her arms, and tummy. "You alright?", she asks. Miho stretches a little bit before rubbing a bruise on her arm. Gah! Painful! "Also, who was that?", she asks. |
| Amy Faust | > Tease! "Huh? Is that not allowed?" Amy blinks, briefly wondering if she ''should'' be following some protocol... but Miho winks, and Amy relaxes. "Well, you're my ''friend'' too, you can hang in my room sometimes!" She stretches and then sits on the bed next to Miho. "I assumed you were going to shield it, yeah... Although I'm not exactly a tank, I mean I don't have shielding powers..." She winces at the bruises. "I wish I could heal you..." Amy blinks. "I guess I usually just go home after, maybe after quick healing, so I don't really see how everyone else is after a fight unless we're ''all'' so banged up we have to stay over at Mamoru's overnight." "...And since I learned how to regenerate, either it's so serious I need to get healed to spare spending magic, or it's just a little magic so... I don't really spend a lot of time after fights injured..." She starts to reflect a little bit on being spared this common experience of being a magical girl. "Who was who? ...The cat? I don't-- OH the woman. One of Obsidian's I guess. Dark General, she's a pain, a bitch, likes ruining people's day and I'm not sure she even actually harvests emotional energy that results or anything?" "Corona, I think she called herself? Her specialty is monsters that have some annoying catch to them. Like they keep splitting into smaller monsters and then try to escape into a building' ventilation system. Or when purified they turn back into normal large rats which leave the barrier but now are loose in a store. Or that whole hamburger zombie thing that happened on Halloween." "She's stuck up and I gather raised kinda rich, but not ''so'' rich there isn't some higher class she wishes she was and she's salty about that. Not like we've really ''talked'', though." |
| Miho Inada | Miho laughs a bit! "Oh man, if my dad heard that I went to my date's room after a date, he'd flip. You know what a tease is, don't you?", she asks. The girl continues to giggle a bit as she gives Amy a quick cheek kiss. "Well, I'm still getting used to a lot of stuff. Miburo had said I needed to get more active in things. Like I kinda hid away from stuff quite a bit, but now I'm getting out more, and learning what I can do.", she admits. The girl stretches out a little bit, wincing a bit. "I'm used to getting busted up. Comes with MMA training.", she tells. Miho sighs a bit. "I kinda been hiding away after getting hurt in a fight. I figure its good to heal up a bit, and remember what I did wrong.", she points out. "So, I have permission to slap her the next time we meet up?", Miho asks. "Or would it be better to send a tiny wolf cub after her ankles? Nibble her ankles all cute and nonthreatening!", she laughs! |
| Amy Faust | > If my dad heard... Amy blinks at her, concerned and a little confused at the implication she might be in trouble. "...Does he know you like girls too? Although I guess, like, that doesn't really make a diff--" Her cheeks blush after they're kissed mid-sentence and she smiles. > Getting out more. "And it's good that you're getting out more!" > Used to getting busted up. Amy smiles, she hopes encouragingly. "Well, you heal faster now that you're magic! ...I think." > Corona Amy smiles and chuckles, "Oh yeah, I think slapping her is fine, but I'm not the one who's an expert on social rules. But I mean, it's okay to ''shoot'' her so slapping is probably fine." Amy grins, "As is annoying her! I like that idea too. If you summon a tiny wolf does it take less magic?" Amy then looks a bit more serious, as she remembers what Mamoru and Usagi-chan showed her the other day. "But seriously, she ''is'' OK to do more than slap. Dark energy and unleashing monsters... she's almost ruined lives and almost got my soul gem stolen -- Hawkmoth's akuma keep assuming it's the Ladybug Miraculous -- and she ''did'' do that whole zombie thing which ruined everyone's halloween plans all over the city." "I've... had to be reminded that while we usually run off after, like... getting energy drained is serious enough to put people in the hospital. It really fucks up your day." |
| Miho Inada | Miho shakes her head a bit as she looks at Amy. "That conversation didn't come up during the holiday break. I didn't get a chance to tell him I had a SO girlfriend. He had asked about boys, but I didn't say anything about that.", she tells. The girl blushes a bit, keeping it a bit quiet from her family. The girl shakes her head a bit. "I can't change the size of the animal that I magic up. But there is a Miburo! He's small, cute, and very chompy!", she points out with a bit of a laugh. She leans on Amy a bit. "Well, she hits like a truck at ranged.", she points out. The bruises is more then proof of that. "So, yeah, at this point, if I get a chance, its either bunny hugging the ankle, or Miburo chomping the ankle!", she says. |
| Amy Faust | Amy blushes a bit more and stares at the far wall, grinning. She's someone's ''girlfriend'', and that feels nice? And there;s a bit of... euphoric mischief, in Miho's dad not thinking to ask about girlfriends or themfriends and so this ending up a secret. As for tiny-wolf-sumoning. "Oh. Oh!" She leans back against Miho and puts an arm around her, hugging gently, not wanting to irritate the bruises. "You probably shouldn't throw your mascot at our enemies unless he can take serious hits, though." She looks over Miho's face a moment, vague feelings and thoughts searching for words. "...Is it just me, you want to... cuddle with? Be close like this with? Because it's fine if you like this closeness with others, too." She looks back at the wall ahead of her for a moment. "...I think... I just like this but culture is weird about it... so instead of anyone I feel like, close to or safe with... Society acts like it's just s'posed to be with SOs..." Amy shakes her head. "At the same time though, it's not like I wanna kiss Taro... but is that just because he's a boy? Well, not exactly a boy... But still." She holds a finger to her chin, thoughtfully. "...Would I be okay with kissing any girl I liked if she were down for it? How does everybody figure this stuff out...?" |
| Miho Inada | Miho shakes her head. "We're fine just like this.", she says. The girl rests her head on top of Amy's a little bit. "As for Miburo, I don't know a whole lot about him. He recently showed up, but he's been a quiet voice teaching me while I've been learning about Yukihime.", she says. The girl sighs a bit as she hugs Amy. "As for any girl...You need to guard those lips a bit more then that.", Miho says, shaking her head. "Those are a girl's treasure.", she teases a little bit. The girl stretches a little bit, before wincing a bit. "I mean, have you gone to a festival with me?", she asks. "I dance with a bunch of boys and girls in some crazy ways, but well, there's a tiny line.", she says. The girl smiles a bit. "I'll have to take you to one, and let you see the craziness of them. Gawd, you'd flip at some of the moves I pull off at a festival!", she blushes. |
| Amy Faust | Amy smiles and rests her head against Miho's shoulder, closing her eyes and nodding lightly as she says it's fine and that Miburo has been a quiet advisor. She opens her eyes at the next words, about guarding. "Hmm?" The unexpected suggestion that any part of her is a treasure that needs protecting brings a smile to her face. No one's ever said anything like that before! Hannah acted like she was so special all the time, but that's a bit different from this... although, she may have heard some generally similar things from overhearing classmates, but not directed specifically at ''her'', by someone close to her. "I... I don't mean like, I'd just walk up and kiss random friends, but... I can imagine that if someone was regularly up for such closeness... I might be okay with such?" She holds her fingertips to her lips thoughtfully. "I went to a festival the first summer I was here! Do you wanna see my yukata?" Amy smiles wide at the memory, and then realizes, "Oh, you mean a ''music'' festival! I've never been, no... But I'd like to go with you!" And maybe some noise-dampening headphones but she can say that later and not dampen the moment right now. "There's crazy dancing, huh?" |
| Amy Faust | (Not to avoid hearing the music, but she knows that it is played way too loud at concerts! She just needs to hear it quieter.) |
| Miho Inada | Miho nods her head a bit at the comments. She giggles a bit as she pulls out her phone, and shows Amy. There's a lot of different styles. Hip hop, popping, locking, breaking, and some others. And then there's how packed it is! Some of the dancing ends up being pretty close! "We so have to go to a few this year!", she says! "Like I can help you with some of the movements for dancing if you want! Like my favorite style is hitting and popping. Then I like to sway a little bit.", she tells. The girl blushes a bit. "It can be...yeah, could be flirty if you aren't careful.", she says. Miho lets Amy watch the video a bit more. One of the things though is how everyone is moving with the music, dispite there's so many people crowded together. How can anyone move in such a crowd like that? Yet, Miho is already swaying a bit to the music. |
| Amy Faust | Amy watches the videos curiously. "Ooh... dancing could be fun! I liked DDR, but..." She hesitates briefly. Is it weird to overshare? "...I was always so uncomfortable and ugly I never thought -- well I felt that way anyway -- I never really ''thought'' about dancing, and it hasn't really come up here except at the summer dances... which were nice in a different way." She smiles at the memory. "But yeah... yeah! It's too easy to end up spending most of my time in front of the computer! I could do more physical stuff!" She wraps an arm around Miho and hugs her to her side. "Honestly if I didn't have to spend so much time magical girling I might've taken up a sport or something. She starts swaying lightly with Miho. "Hmm. How do they not bump into eachother all the time that close? Is there some trick to it, or maybe the moves are closer to their body than they seem... no, they can't all be..." |
| Miho Inada | The girl nods her head as she listens to the music. She closes her eyes. "It takes a few times to really get use to how people move. Like you have to feel the music in a sense. And then think about how much space you got. Like House can be very...expressive, but can be used in a small areas, as well as large.", she tells. The girl breathes in and out a few times. She gets up. Miho turns the music up a little bit. The girl closes her eyes, and there's a light bounce to her body. Miho moves her arm up slowly, and then slowly sweeps it across her body, as she thrusts her hips to the side. Its a flowing movement that ends with a sharp movement before she rolls her upper body a little bit. The beat hits again as she moves sharply again. Her flowing movements follow the rhythm of the music, while her sharp movements hit with the beat. As Miho moves, she doesn't seem to move much from her spot. Despite everything in the room, she seems to be perfectly in her element with the music. "Its like how you're aware of what's going on in a game without thinking about it. I have to stop and think about what's going on. You just...feel people around you. And then there's dance battles, where there's only so much space in the circle, and you're trying to use it all while not touching people.", she tells. |
| Amy Faust | Amy hms? "House like the music genre? Or is it a kind of dance?" When Miho gets up Amy smiles and stands, watching from next to the bed. "I see. Even if ''some'' parts of the dance need you to make sure you have clearance, if most of the moves don't take up room you don't need to be constantly checking." As Miho dances on, Amy's bouncing with energy a bit. She nods, smiling. "Yeah. It's a flow state! Or something like that... so once you know what you're doing, your thoughts aren't-- your moment-to-moment thoughts aren't 'better make sure not to bump that person', you do that without thinking, while planning what moves you want to do or what sort of like... what sort of moves... what visual effect? What performance you want to do? I'm not sure what word I'm looking for here." |
| Miho Inada | "House is a style of dance, as well as a genre of music. A lot of dancing is named after the music its usually with. Or after the movement it mimics. Like I'm doing a lot of hitting. Like put your arm up like this.", she says. Its like raising your right hand to swearing in. The girl then moves her hand in front of her in a sudden sharp movement in front of her that stops. But it's the only part of her body that moves. Its just her arm, from her shoulder. "Each part of your body is separate. Learning to move them all indep...Oh...", she says. Miho blinks a little bit as she thinks about a few things. She blushes a bit, and shakes her head. Something clicked, but that's not important at the moment. "Flow state is a good way to call it. You get used to how your body moves, and your style. Like...", Miho hmms. She closes her eyes, and thinks about how to phrase it. She leans over, and face to face with Amy. "I guess, its kind of like...", she says. "You're a part of the crowd, but still indepentant?", she questions. The girl seems to relax much more. |
| Amy Faust | "I thought it was called popping and locking?" After imitating the movement Miho demonstrates, she turns her upper torso to the side, then turns her legs to match, then moonwalks back a step while holding everything but her legs still, then lifts arms in front of her and then bends them up at the elbow and starts to turn, moving one limb at a time, sort of doing the half-remembered robot--although she blushes and her stance relaxes as Miho comes close. Part of the crowd yet independent? Amy smiles, "I guess I'll have to try it? I take it the... the sudden fast moves are hits, the moving-one-joint-or-limb-at-a-time is popping, and locking is when you... hold one part and move the rest of you? Or maybe when you hold a joint in place and let the lower limb kinda swing back and forth?" |
| Miho Inada | Miho giggles a bit. "That's a bit beginner, but Popping and Locking are two different styles. Popping happen before Hip hop, and Locking is kind of more, freeze. Like...hmmm.", she says. Miho takes a moment, and she starts Popping. Her movements are sharp. Her movements are sharp, and pronounced. Her muscles seem to contract and relax quickly, making quick poses, but then she flows into the next movement. "Pop-locking is like this in a sense, but Popping is more flowing with your body 'hitting' the beat. After the 'hit' you're flowing into the next movement.", she says. Miho change her movements. This style of dance, she moves very fast, and then freezes...She seems locked into place. After a second, she starts moving at the same speed as before, before locking into place at the beat. She takes a moment to breathe out. "If you think of locking as a dance, James Brown did a lot of locking, while when you watch dance battles and dance competitions, its more Popping.", she points out. |
| Amy Faust | Amy blushes a bit at 'that's beginner', but is still smiling. "Well, I've never danced like this before..." She watches the explanation and ohhs, "I see! Lock is when you freeze." She hmms, "I admit, popping -- because of the moving-one-part-at-once thing -- has kind of a robotic air to it. Makes me think of a robot or some sort of dancing automaton... but I guess you can probably style it more or less mechanical depending on just how stiff you are with it." |
| Miho Inada | Miho nods her head. "I didn't mean you're beginner. Just how you thought of the dance styles. A lot of people think Popping and Locking are the same cause some people put the two together for awhile as one dance style. Pop-locking.", she tells. "But yeah, popping is just the hit and moving on. Locking is the freeze. The robotin is a part of popping. That's why there's waves in the motions from time to time.", she says. The girl flows with the sudden hit. She moves close to Amy, and there's a sharp movement where her fingers come close to Amy's chin before she spin flows around Amy with her hand stile there. There's a sudden sharp movement as her other hand comes around close to Amy's cheek. Not in a slapping motion, but almost like to hold Amy's cheek. She smiles a bit. Miho gives her a small kiss on the cheek. "But yeah, how stiff you are with it, it's pretty robotic in a sense.", she tells. She blushes a bit. |
| Amy Faust | Amy nods as the beginner mistake is explained. It's true! That's exactly why she thought that. She watches curiusly, starting to flinch slightly at the hand getting close and then waiting to see what Miho does-- oh. She blushes again at the hand almost on her cheek, and Miho so close. "I see what you meant about the flirting..." and while she's focused on that side, she's startled by the sudden kiss from the other, and feels like she's melting a little. What is this technique??? Miho is making her feel... things! A bit like being swept off her feet, or how she imagines someone she likes kabedon-ing her would feel. "I... I see!" She can't help grinning, not sure what to do, staying where she is so as not to mess up the moves but starting to lean towards the other girl if touched again. "I didn't know j-just, someone dancing at you could feel like that...!" |
| Miho Inada | Miho giggles a bit as she moves her hand slowly away, letting it trace back to under Amy's chin before she closes it, and spins lightly away. "Dancing is a way...of saying things that a person might not be able to say directly.", she tells. "Or expressions, or convey emotions.", the girl says with a slight blush. "Depending on who the message is for. But yeah, things can be a bit...flirty.", she tells. The girl blushes even more now. She isn't sure why she's blushing though! Aren't the two dating? Miho bites her lip a little bit. "Like just now, if this was a dance battle, I would have added a sway to my hips as I walked away. Something that's a little fun, but also saying I know what I did.", she winks over her shoulder. "A bit of a tease, but in this case, not so much.", she coughs. The girl settles down in Amy's gaming chair. "I really don't get to do a lot of this back at home.", she admits. |
| Amy Faust | The redhead shivers a little as the hand traces over her. "O-oh..." She refocuses, standing straighter again and nodding as Miho explains what she'd do if it were a dance battle. "Yeah..." She turns towards Miho and smiles, "I don't think I'm ready for a dance battle... and I'm not good at... understanding messages that aren't said directly... but that was nice." She pouts slightly, hearing Miho can't be like this at home. "Why not? No one interested? No one you're interested in? Or having to maintain too prim and proper of an impression in case your father hears? Or... just not many dancers, there?" |
| Miho Inada | Miho sighs a bit. "Remember how stiff and formal I was a year ago? How I was basically always trying to find the right thing to say and do? Overly formal?", she asks. The girl leans in the chair, and pulls one leg up to her chest. "Kyoto has its spots, but for the most part, there's a lot of temples and such in my neck of the woods, and I'm the daughter of a miko and a MMA fighter. Dad gets jealous, and Mom likes to remind me of the Temples quite a bit.", she says. "It's hard to do this stuff when you're being watched so much. Here...I'm starting to relax, and think about what I want.", she tells. "I mean, Mom lets me have my freedom, but there's still lines.", she points out. Miho stretches out a bit as she looks at the ceiling. "I think...maybe I better sneak back to my room.", she blushes a bit. "I think we both need to sleep, and I definitely need to grab a snack. I'm still trying to get use to the whole Magic girl dieting thing...", she tells. Her stomach growls a bit. |
| Amy Faust | Amy nods solemnly as Miho explains. "If your life were a movie, your parents would see you at some event and realize that their daughter can be cool in music and dance too... but, life doesn't work like movies." She sighs. "I'm glad you've been able to relax here, and begin to be yourself." "...I guess I might still have some... finding and figuring out myself to do still, too. Getting to be a girl is freeing, but... am I still afraid of being ''too'' weird?" She runs up to Miho and hugs her tightly after she stretches. "We'll keep working on it. Friends help eachother with this stuff, and I don't have to go it alone this time. And neither do you, now." "Come by any time, OK? I..." She can't help grinning a bit, "...want to see more of dancing like this, too." |
| Miho Inada | Miho leans into the hug a little bit before doing a quick light kiss on Amy's lips! "It was fun! And being weird is a part of the fun! I mean, its who we are. We're different. Why not embrace it a bit?", she winks. "I mean, look at a lot of our friends.", she tells. "I mean, are any of us 'normal'? Hell, our spare time is spent chasing a cosmic horror white rat, to make him behave.", she points out. "I had an opportunity to be...normal. Screw that. Too limiting, and too many expectations. Its time to just be who we are. And that means being whatever we want.", she tells. The girl smiles. "And sure! I can come over, and show you a few other dance moves I know. Its mostly the stuff you see online, though. Nothing super fancy, and you won't catch me breaking. God...Breaking hurts, finically, and physically.", she tells. |
