Usagi Tsukino The battle to defeat Wiseman and prevent Nemesis from crashing into the Earth of the 30th Century is over, and Crystal Tokyo has been restored to its former glory, the city a sparkling paradise - clean ocean and waterways, intact and shining buildings. Everything that the Black Moon Clan destroyed has been fixed and every wrong - most of the wrongs - set to right.

They're still all exhausted though, because that battle ''just ended'', and Sailor Moon drops out of henshin with the attitude of someone who knows 'everyone here knows me anyway, I'm Sailor Moon' and drops on the ground.

"We did it," she breathes out, "''And now we have to walk back to Chibiusa-chan's house.''"

Chibiusa-chan's house being the giant castle on the giant pillar, of course.
Sailor Mercury Sailor Mercury vanished out in favour of Ami Mizuno who, at the very least, wasn't scattered with the direct evidence of the dark lightning assault prior. As the henshin dropped, however, Ami seemed to visibly deflate, a deep breath expelled and slow turn toward the great castle atop crystalline pillar.

"It's not that far, Usagi-chan." Ami attempted to encourage her, settling a supportive arm across the blonde's shoulders.

Whose support was it for? Probably both of the
Sailor Uranus     After everything that had happened, Haruka had taken Hotaru out to see the city in a less-destroyed state, and Michiru was walking with the other girls now. Admittedly, she also wanted to see the sights, but even with Wiseman defeated, she didn't want to leave Usagi alone at the time; this world was still strange to her, and there was also Mamoru's Brother around, using a power that had given her such a sense of unease. So with that combined, the teal-haired violinist walked alongside the twintailed blonde, having left her henshin.

"It's not often I get to go and see a residence that makes Setsuna-san's house look ''small''..." she notes playfully, hiding any concerns for now. "You did a good job keeping the ship together, Mizuno-san." she adds.
Nephrite Very much grounded himself and spent, Masato had been leaning against the trunk of a tree to gather himself. That had all been a lot-- more than a lot-- and he hadn't really had the chance to stop and process it all yet.

That great attack that they had launched at the end, the Shitennou and Endymion... it left something in him ringing like a struck bell. Old things stirring, things that may resurface later. Never truly forgotten, but hidden in the depths until found.

"It was a half-miracle the ship didn't tear itself completely apart," he agreed with Michiru, nodding, "You did well, Ami-chan."
Amy Faust     Amy-with-a-y ''doesn't'' dehenshin immediately, she's not sure what that lightning did to her. When she hears the others talking, she stops looking around and walks over towards Sailor Moon, taking off her helmet. "They ''have'' to have an elevator... I mean... Osaka-obaasan couldn't go up the stairs, right?"

She tries to remember how they got Naru up but must've been focused on something else at the time. Someone probably carried her, Amy concludes.

She does laugh at Michiru's comment about the palace dwarfing Chez Outer.

And she smiles at Ami, "Yeah, that was really cool, and quick thinking!" The smile becomes a bit more awkward, "Sorry so many of the holes were my fault... uh... my weapons aren't so good for the ''inside'' of spaceships, I guess..."
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto pipes up suddenly from the other side of Michiru from Usagi, "That's because our house is a HOUSE and thus is primarily just a place of residence."

She points over at the other building in question, "THAT, by contrast, is a PALACE, and therefore as much a seat of government as a place of residence."

After short pause, she looks down to Usagi, "If you want, I suppose I can carry you there if you don't want to walk..."

There's a short delay as the Senshi of Time lets that process, then she gets a little grin as she then asks, "...so sack of potatoes or fireman's? Which way would you prefer being carried?"
Usagi Tsukino "Ughhhh," Usagi groans, but does indeed get up at Ami's behest, leaning against her just a little - they're both wiped out and exhausted and she doesn't want to send Ami tumbling down! "I guess it's true that we don't see places that can make Mamochan and Suna-san's places look small that often..."

Amy walks over with the rest of the group, welcomed with a cheerful wave.

"There is a televator, I remember, but, we still have to ''get'' there." It won't take that long - probably a five or ten minute walk outside of henshin. But isn't it nice, to complain about ''normal'' things? Especially if it gets people offering to carry you!

"I feel like you're hoping that will stop me," she tells Setsuna with a little laugh, "But I'm tempted to say yes just to see how far you'd take me! I'd pick fireman, buuuut... I guess I'll walk."
Sailor Mercury There was only so much compliment that Ami could endure before her face started to show it in red. She shrunk down a little further into Usagi, almost hiding herself, despite the pleased little smile that crept its way across her features.

"Thank you." It wasn't really directed at any one of them but Michiru, Masato, and Amy all at once. "All that effort, though, and Wiseman just blew it apart in the end anyway. I was so mad at him for that. Which, you know, feels silly given all of the other things to be mad at him about."

Sapphires drifted to catch Masato, unshrinking again now. "You almost had full control of it, too. We could have had our own space ship."
Makoto Kino "It's probably just as well. Where would we even keep a spaceship, if we kept it?"

That's Makoto, finally catching up to the others from... wherever it was that she'd landed. She's already shed her henshin and is absently rolling her shoulder like she's trying to work out some kinks, but otherwise seems relatively unscathed by whatever kind of landing she had.

"Is everyone okay?" she wonders, looking from face to face with her brows drawn together slightly in concern. "All in one piece?"
Sailor Uranus     "Well, look, just because he was a jerk for another 50 reasons doesn't mean reason 51 doesn't exist." Michiru offers. "I'm more worried about how we'll get back, though." she notes.

"I'm fine. Haruka's fine. She's got Hotaru and has gone off to find whatever this world's ice cream is. Hopefully not Dippin' Dots." she notes.

"You doing okay? Has anyone spoken with Aino-san?"
Nephrite Righting some to step away from the tree, he held a hand to his sternum briefly. A glance given to the mystical sprout still gently poking out of his shoulder. Zoisite's power preventing the full weight of his injuries to settle in, analgesic pulse subtle but present. He could make it to the Palace, though exhausted for the ordeal and the lightning that had lanced muscle and burnt jagged marks across skin.

"With the look of it, we probably could've kept it moored in Minato Port, without too much bother." He half-jokes of the ship. "I think everyone is alright... Mina-chan should be around here somewhere." He did give a passing scan.
Amy Faust     Amy jumps a bit, where'd Pluto come from? Her face flickers from 'happy to see a friend' to 'wait is this the ''other'' Pluto' to 'wait she knows about the house it must be ''our'' Pluto' back to 'happy to see a friend'. "Pluto-chan! You're here!"

She blinks at Usagi thoughtfully. "Normal things... yes, I guess so."

''Awwwwwww'' Ami is blushing from praise, and Amy feels vaguely positive about this. "Well... I mean, it can suck to see your hard work blown up, even if it ''was'' meant to be temporary."

We could have had our own spaceship. Red eyes widen a little. "...Do you think they'd ''give'' us one? Although, yeah, where would we keep it..." she nods at Makoto.

Is she okay... she shrugs. "I mean. There was kinda lightning everywhere? I'm not... sure what that does to someone in, like, a medical trauma sense... One piece though, yes! Definitely in one piece."
Usagi Tsukino "In one piece," Usagi reassures Makoto, lifting an arm and gesturing for Makoto to come hug her and Ami, "And tired! But um, last I saw Minako-chan...aha... she was still lost in the ship."

Yes. She was lost in the ship.

"But I'm sure she made it down! I saw a bunch of those volleyball nets going up, so she's probably around here somewhere, or off in the city like the others ran off for..."
Sailor Mercury There was a brief nod of agreement in Masato's direction. They probably ''could'' have moored the ship, called it a restoration, and just gotten away with it. Ami was also fairly certain they could have convinced Riventon to share it, even.

"I've probably got a lot of data on it from the fight anyway." Ami suggested, perhaps a little ominously.

Perhaps not a ''direct'' suggestion that she'd start trying to figure out how to build a space ship at some point. But, it was definitely still ''a'' suggestion.

"I'm mostly tired, yeah." Ami smiled at Makoto now. "Zoisite gave me something that seems to be helping with the actual aches."

Much like Masato, Ami's shoulder sported a little sprout.
Makoto Kino In response to Usagi's gesturing, Makoto heads over to where she and Ami are leaning on each other. Her arms go around the both of them, enfolding them in a warm but careful hug, mindful of any sore muscles or bruises. "Nobody seems to have burst their eardrums or gone into heart failure," she answers Amy over their heads, rather wryly, "so probably just burns?"

Once Usagi and Ami have been properly hugged, she steps back and looks over toward Masato. Her lips purse as she gets a better look at the shape he's in - that's a face that suggests she wouldn't consider 'fine' the proper description - but she doesn't contradict him. She just starts toward him, and offers him an arm to lean on if he wants it once she's near enough.
Sailor Venus While the others were worrying over one another, and even asking after her, Sailor Venus finally makes her arrival. A bit rumpled. Possibly damp. But alive, well, and with a little attachment to her wrist similar to the gifts Zoisite had given the others: A little health stabilizing bloom.

Hopping down from a higher point to land on her feet she lifts that very hand to wave in greeting to the others. "I'm so glad everyone's okay. That thing got me so turned around." She never *was* good at directions, really.
Sailor Uranus     "Well, hopefully someone can take care of you, Mister Fine." Michiru says, rolling her eyes. She has experience with the same kind of 'everythings okay I'll just pass out now' from her own s/o, clearly.

"So, what do we think next steps are? I guess make sure everything's okay and find a way back to our own world?" she asks. And then she sweeps her hand in the general direction of the not totally messed up CT. "Seems like it's better for our presence, anyways."
Amy Faust     Ami got data on the spaceship! That sounds useful! "Ohhh, really?" Amy asks, smiling at the thought of spaceship.

And then Makoto pronounces the expected injuries and her eyes widen a bit. She taps the helmet she's holding, "Plus I think I'm constantly regenerating hearing damage anyway, given my weapons..." Still, she looks ''worried'' as she holds her hand to her chest and checks for a heartbeat, then relaxes, and drops her hand back to her side. "...Burns suck though."

And then there's another familiar voice! Amy turns, "Oh, there she is!"
Usagi Tsukino "If anyone can build a spaceship from the future, it's you Ami-chan!" If there's one thing everyone can say about Usagi, it's that she's a ''loyal'' girlfriend. "Get back to the castle, reunite Chibiusa-chan with her Mama and Papa, and make sure everything's okay here sounds about the plan to me. Pluto from this time should be able to send us back through the Gates!"

She's pretty sure of it, anyway - it had worked once, it would work again. She sees no reason to worry about it.

Everything's going to be ''fine''. Sure, they're sore and tired and kind of messed up from battle, but they won, the enemy is defeated, and the whole ''world'' is at peace - the whole ''world'' got fixed, the way Paris had when Beryl was defeated. Neo Queen Serenity's probably the reason, and Usagi is mind-boggled by that very thought, when it crosses her mind.

"Mamochan needs to rest as much as the rest of us do, after all that, but I'd bet King Endymion to help us out."

And there's Minako-chan! Good, good, that's eyes on just about everyone at least once then!
Nephrite Though he's got his pride, Masato's also not shy to seek comfort and support. Makoto's offered arm is gratefully taken. He's not really fine. He's very not-fine. But he's slightly more fine because Makoto is paying him attention.

There's relief, though, when he spots Minako.

"I do want to know where exactly Riventon went... somebody surely has some eyes on him. Right?"
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto just gives Amy a small smile and wink at the qustion of her presence, then turns back to Usagi and shrugs, "Very well, but the offer stands, Usagi-chan."

And then she turns to start walking along with everyone else towards the palace...though she CAN be seen sighing and rolling her eyes in synch with Michiru when the other Outer Senshi comments, obviously well aware of whom her housemate is thinking of and agreeing.

As Usagi comments on how they'll get home, however, Sailor Pluto snorts and comments, "Hopefully now that all this is over my counterpart will actually take my advice and take a day off once in a while."
Sailor Mercury "Venus-chan!" Ami beamed at her friend.

There's genuine relief and fondness to see her safe. After all, the last that Sailor Mercury had seen of her, Sailor Venus was being blown off into the bowels of the ship. Which, of course, turned her attention to Usagi.

"I mean, it's not likely to be something thrown together in the next week or so." Ami lifted a hand to wave in self-conscious dismissal. "But, who knows when having a spaceship will come in handy, right?"

A pause and a shake of her head. "I've got no idea where he wound up... We'll have to check his pockets before we go back."

Riventon, of course.
Sailor Venus "Ami-chan!" Mina offers back with a broad grin followed by, "I'm so sorry I couldn't help more!" Naturally she was worried too. They were all out of henshin so she drops hers with a little sigh as she allows herself to relax some.

"Oh, going to the palace seems like a great idea. I can check up on Kaito-kun!" She really sounds perhaps a *bit* too giddy at this. Her friends may recognise this as very similar to her 'boy crazy' voice she sometimes took on when talking about the current date-of-the-week.
Sailor Uranus     "Mostly I think we better just make sure he actually comes with us. Don't want to return the favor and leave one of our problems harassing this world." Michiru says, tapping her chin.

"He ''did'' help us with Wiseman but some of the things he did made me feel uneasy. More than normal." Michiru notes regarding Riventon. But then she turns to Minako.

"You know, there's a fine line between excited and desperate, and people you're chasing can tell the difference." she notes.
Makoto Kino "I could turn him upside down and shake him," Makoto offers. "It's probably a good idea." She's entirely willing to prop Masato up as much as he needs; she's in reasonably good shape herself, but it's comforting all the same, in the wake of a battle like that one.

"Welcome back," she adds in Minako's direction. The smile she offers her fellow senshi quickly takes on a shade of amusement as she recognizes the tone in Minako's voice. "Go easy on the guy, hm?"
Amy Faust The world seems better for our presense.
"Yeah... and was that..." Amy wonders, "Was that future you using your Barrierinth back there? She finally woke up?"

Amy blinks. "I guess that's pretty weird to think about... meeting your future self. Well, alternate future self."

As they start walking along, Amy replies to Pluto, "Can ''we'' take a day off? I ''know'' I ''just'' got back from a mostly-vacation in another dimension and had to make up my exams, but like..."

She stops, and turns, and gestures vaguely at where the spaceship and Nemesis ''were'' in the sky.

She resumes walking towards the palace. And blinks at Michiru. "Huh? Chasing?" She looks thoughtful. "Ohhhh. Was that the guy with the tamagotchi?"
Usagi Tsukino "I... actually lost track of him," Usagi admits at the mentions of Riventon, "But - I actually think we might want to find him sooner than later. Something in that power of his... call me crazy, but it felt ''just'' like ''Beryl'' - and if I could tell, I have a feeling Future Me will too... and yeah! That ''was'' her Barrierynth, and it was - it was ''so big''! It covered all the way to where Nemesis was!"

Usagi is enthusiastic over that, even if her voice hasn't quite lost the worried edge over Riventon's whereabouts and power.

As they proceed she - winces at Michiru's not quite sharp, not quite harsh, but definitely, um, ''incisive'', that's a word Ami-chan might use - tone and choice of words.

"Ahaha... yeah, Amy-chan, that's him. He's one of the King's Shitennou for sure, so I bet him and the others are up in the Palace..."
Nephrite Between watching the profile of Makoto's face with overt warmth in his sapphire eyes, Masato murmurs bluntly to Michiru's 'more-than normal' concern over Riventon. "Understatement." He sighs. "I'd love to see that... a good shake is exactly what he needs, after he let me get zapped like that..."

He's feigning some blame. He glances at Usagi. "I'm glad that Queen Serenity probably has an eye on him, at least. That energy... I agree. That was a little close to home."

Kaito... Kaito... He frowns. "That better not be Naru's Grandson."
Sailor Venus Sailor Venus crosses her arms over her chest with a little indignant sniff of the air at Michiru's remark. "I'm not desperate!" She blurts out, adding as well, "And I'm not chasing anyone-- Amy! That's Roman-san who has the Tomagotchi. He's not in the future that I know of."

An amused grin is flashed toward Makoto though, along with a small shake of her head. "It'll be fine. He's kind of... Always taken, anyway, in a way," she remarks while clearing her throat slightly. "But it was nice getting to know him last time. He hadn't decided yet if he was going to awaken his past memories or not when we left. If he did..."

Mina trails off and glances breifly to Masato, then away again with a shrug. "Eh. Shittenou are Shittenou." As if that explains everything. Of course, Kaito was the future-Nephrite so she wasn't expecting anything much.

"Definitely taken."
Sailor Mercury She didn't have to say much. Ami knew that Minako knew that Ami knew. It was in the way her eyebrow lifted ever-so-slightly. But, she let it go for now and her attention drifted back to Usagi.

"I don't know. I like him." Ami shrugged. "Obviously, we can't trust him as far as I'd be able to throw him out of henshin. But, he shielded me from a lot on the ship and he probably didn't have to do that."
Usagi Tsukino "I don't ''dislike'' him - he's one of Mamochan's brothers, so like, I gotta like him anyway, for peace in the family!" This, reassuring Ami.

"But he's... I wouldn't call him reasonable, when he's messing with a bunch of dark energy - or losing - and playing with Beryl's stuff... is both of those."

Mega amounts of Dark Energy, and essence of an ancient, awful threat who lost twice. Essence of Bad Loser, that's what he's toying with... and she's making mental jokes about it to distract from the thought, because it ''is'' a frightening one.

She is staying out of the discussion of 'is Minako-chan desperate'. As a married woman, she's happily out of the manhunting race.
Sailor Uranus     "Oh, dear me, that was a touch insensitive." Michiru says, temporarily clasping her hand over her mouth. "It was just the way you spoke about it, Aino-san. But I'm glad to hear you have a good head on your shoulders about it all."

"I don't think you have to like him at all. I dislike Haruka-san's whole family." she says, bluntly and directly. Though there's Very Good Reasons for that. "I suppose you have to wait until Chiba-san cuts him off before you can, though." She says this like it's an inevitability, too.
Makoto Kino "Minako-chan..." The giant cartoon sweatdrop is practically audible in Makoto's voice, as she belatedly puts together exactly which guy 'Kaito-kun' is. She elects not to say anything more on the topic, though - especially once Minako acknowledges that he's essentially taken.

Instead, she looks back toward Usagi and Ami to note brightly, "It's fine, I can dislike him enough for all three of us." Makoto, have you even *met* Riventon?

(Not really, but she disapproves of monkeying with that level of Dark Energy on principle.)
Amy Faust     ''Roman'' had the tamagotchi. "Oh right! Sorry..." Amy holds her hand to her forehead, and looks to Masato. "Oh! The reborn um... that was... the reborn you? Or Saitou-san?"

She raises an eyebrow at the comment about Haruka's family but isn't sure she should pry.

"Well... it's better that Riventon helped us, than that he's someone with no good in him, right?"
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto looks back to Amy and arches an eyebrow when questioned about days off, "...don't you have summer break coming up?"

As the conversation wanders over to Riventon and what he's up to, the tallest senshi snorts, "...anyone want to lay odds on whether he tries something before we get there and Usagi's counterpart squishes him on reflex and we have to bring a cartoonishly flat avatar of poor decision-making back to our world with us?"
Sailor Uranus     Michiru, always a little more attentive than she might look (and certainly moreso than her s/o), catches Amy's eyebrow. "Stuffy old Japanese family disapproving of her style." she says, as though that is a polite way to refer to it that should get the point across. "And if they come near her again with that crap I'll have to make it up to Meiou-san for drowning them in our bathtub." She says with a smile. But her tone is a lot closer to slasher-smile.

"Maybe we should find one or the other of them before that happens." Michiru says, and a line of worry crosses her face. "It takes you a lot of energy to do the barrier, and I know that this world's you has about 700 years more practice, but that was also a bigger barrier. I would like to make sure she's okay."
Nephrite "There's a funny little thing about that, actually," Masato muses, thinking about Kaitos and Saitous, "He was wearing a mask around, too." A hum, and he doesn't really elaborate. "It's another Nephrite." He clarifies with a nod.

That, very specific in wording.

He, too avoids the topic of Riventon, or his bizarre personal connections to him. It's very much like Usagi said, he supposes. He's a brotherly nuisance. Things will probably be fine.

He moves on. "Stuffy old family... I see. Haruka-san chose to make her own way." He can relate to that, himself, recently. "Good for her."
Sailor Mercury They were definitely right, of course. Riventon was certainly indulging in dangerous amounts of dangerous things, and that wasn't likely to be a sustainable trajectory for him. Ami held out some hope that his connections to people would be enough to pull him back eventually, because he certainly ''had'' them. People he seemed to care about and who cared for him. Love, even.

"Yes, we'll be through finals very soon." Ami confirmed for Pluto with a nod, letting perhaps unhelpful musings slip away. "I think Masa-nii is planning on taking us on a cruise."
Sailor Venus "Of course I have a good head on my shoulders! I'm gorgeous." The bold remark comes with a confident grin that falters only *slightly* when Masato and Makoto both clue in on who this person was. "If I were in the least bit desperate I would just let Ace-san date me. He already calls me 'the love of his life'..." Her expression shifts faintly, a tense crease of her eyebrows drawing together. It's shaken off quickly as she changes subjects again.

A kind of guilty grin is flashed back to Makoto only to break into a quiet laugh at the way Masato reacts. "I'm joking. We did become friends during our last stay here, though. He hadn't woken up yet though. AND," she adds, emphatically, "Yes, he wore a mask at first so I didn't *know* and anyway. This time's Kunzite has *short* hair can you believe it?"

"At least that'll make it easier to spot Riventon from far away here. We won't mistake Kunzite for him."
Amy Faust     Amy nods to Michiru, honestly she could kinda guess it was that and/or having a girlfriend. She nods in agreement with Masato's judgement.

And then Pluto's like 'but don't you have summer break' and she's like ._.

Resignedly, she explains, "...After... you know... coming here the ''first'' time, and going back and thinking Usagi-chan was ''still stuck on Nemesis'', I kinda... stopped caring about school those next couple weeks, and then dealing with ''everything'' up to the wedding, and getting stuck in another world right before exams... I gotta redo History this summer."

"...Even if it's only one class, it kinda precludes anything that needs the whole day free... although, I guess so does magical girl work..."
Makoto Kino Mako's expression softens a little at Minako's explanation. "That's good, then," she says. "That you're friends, ''and'' that we can quit mistaking every guy with long white hair for Kunzite." She's laughing just a little by the time she finishes saying it, the corner of her mouth turned ruefully upward. She hasn't forgotten the incident the last time they were here.

A beat, and she turns a faintly plaintive look toward Ami. "Please don't mention finals," she begs.
Nephrite "Naturally though, my hair is much nicer than Kunzite's hair, long or short," Masato lifts his chin to boast, as if the fact is self evident. "And I'd be willing to bet, this Kaito person's is as well. So even with the mask, he must've looked very handsome."

It seems forgiving of the fact that any version of Nephrite's hair should be so noticed. Just an inevitability, really.

He leans his head closer to Makoto in a slightly dramatic fashion, "Even in my poorly state... I'm unfortunately good looking. It can't be helped."
Sailor Uranus     Michiru looks to Masato and gives him a side-eye. "Ah, I see why you and Haruka get along well now."
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto rolls her eyes at Amy, "...oh, if ONLY you knew someone who could help tutor you in HISTORY..."
Makoto Kino "Yes, yes," Makoto replies in a tone of exaggerated patience, looking up at Masato with a poorly-suppressed grin. "It must be such a trial to you, being so handsome. I can't imagine how you bear such a heavy burden all the time the way you do."
Sailor Mercury Ami's attention flicked to Amy now, brows knit together in the sort of disapproval that Usagi and Minako might be well familiar with.

"Why didn't you ask for help, Amy-chan?" The blue-haired senshi honestly looked a little perplexed, right up until she sighed. "This is why I keep saying that it's important for everyone to keep on top of their coursework."

A sidelong glance is offered to Usagi, but it's only very short lived. Her attention turned to Pluto and Ami nodded in agreement. There in overlooked tutor solidarity.
Sailor Venus "Well he's defintely in good shape! I could tell when I carried him to the palace," Mina explains with a solemn nod. "Though he's got hair the color of Naru's." Just. Nephrite hair the color of Naru's.

Mina shifts her hands behind her back innocently as she steals a glance over toward Ami while she chastizes Amy about classes. A guilty look of her own comes, and she clears her throat, mumbling something about studying soon.
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto smirks at Ami upbraiding Amy about studying...then reaches over behind everyone else to offer fistbump to the bluenette.
Nephrite "It's wonderful to have you to help me bear it, Mako-chan," Masato returned, charmed and smirking gently.

His gaze drifts to Ami, and he's a little smug. He's on top of his coursework. His little excursion to the National Museum had provided a good muse for his report-- as Ami and Usagi and even Amy already well knew. That had gotten him a fine grade. But he knew better than to boast about that.
Amy Faust     "I don't think I need--" Amy starts to reply, then her eyes widen. "Okay, actually, learning from someone who ''lived'' through Japanese history could be really helpful actually! Like, how you tell it will be ''way'' more interesting than memorizing dates and stuff..."

She does look ''moderately'' ashamed when Ami calls her out, but also, "Why do you think I came to some of the study sessions with Usagi??" And then brings her hands together and bows her head slightly, "''thank'' you for that, by the way, observing your study techniques was a big help when I got trapped in another timeline for a week, it may have helped save the rest of my classes."
Sailor Mercury "There's a difference between group study sessions and targeted tutoring, Amy-chan. I'm happy to help with either." Ami's momentary agitation is short-lived and, instead, she just seems tired again. "If you need help with a specific subject, please just ask. I'm always happy to help."

There's a short pause before she grimaces.

"Though, I have to also admit that Rome-kun has required quite a ''lot'' of attention. Surprisingly, he's really good at history and sports. It's just ''everything else'' he struggles with. Including ''English''." Ami managed to sound incredibly confused at the end of that, still baffled that the English-boy struggled academically with his own native language.
Sailor Uranus     "English is a very rough language, though. Lots of bits and peices from everyone else, lack of sense in places. I can imagine it still doesn't make perfect sense if you grew up there, plus, our teachers our going to be sticklers on the specifics." Michiru says, calmly.

"Haruka-san and I speak English out of necessity, but that doesn't mean either of us are really ''good'' at it... I have some sympathy."
Makoto Kino "...I'll probably need to ask for some of that tutoring, too," Makoto admits, turning a guilty look in Ami's direction. "With everything that's been going on, keeping up with studying kind of... wasn't really top priority."

Ami may know Makoto well enough by now to read between the lines of that delicate phrasing. It's difficult to keep Mako focused on studying in the best of times, let alone with a looming threat hanging over them and a wedding to put on.
Sailor Venus "English is really hard. It's completely different how they talk with where they place the subject of their sentences and ask questions." Minako interjects with a solemn nod only to glance over at the others some. "I... should probably also do some tutoring. I mean, Izou did offer to help too. I figured you might be busy with so much on your plate, Ami-chan."

"... Then again if Roman is also in your tutoring..." Well now that would be different. A little giddy grin creeps over her at the thought!
Usagi Tsukino "You should try Mamochan's method for learning English," Usagi tells Minako and Makoto, nodding firmly. "He buys me manga in English! So that if I want to read it I have to practice my English..."

It's working surprisingly well, and has definitely improved her conversational English, even if her accent is still heavy and her pronunciation poor.

"I think it's better for you ''and'' Roman-kun if you two don't study together," Usagi interjects, looking at her friend's giddy space and thinking - but not saying - Minako-chan! You just said you weren't desperate! "He actually has to study!"
Nephrite "I learned English by watching movies," Masato adds, as an alternate but similar method, "Although, probably don't just watch heist and romance movies, like I did."

He sighs. Lessons were learned.
Amy Faust There's a difference between group study and tutoring.
"I see..." Amy hadn't thought of it that way. "Honestly, I guess I didn't realize how badly I was doing, there was just so much stuff happening..."

She looks mildly surprised to hear Rome struggles with English, but nods to Michiru. "True, just like some natives struggle with Japanese... I was lucky, I'm a voracious reader who devoured sci-fi and fantasy books before I could get sucked in by social media and streaming and, uh, manga and webfiction that ''weren't'' well-written in addition to those that ''were''..."

"So it's less that I learned every rule explicitly, so much as just having such a huge corpus of absorbed reference material that I can just ''tell'' when something is off."

"But that's not an option for everyone, so I'm not looking down on people just because they couldn't do that."

Usagi mentions the manga method Amy smiles and double-fingerguns. "Helped me learn Japanese! Although not as much as coming over here and getting immersed in it did... But still..."
Sailor Uranus     Michiru knowingly grins at Amy. "Probably not as much as the magical coursework to get the foreigners used to speaking Japanese that Radiant Heart offers does." She says. "But alas, they don't offer that for English. We do enough saving the world, it would be nice to have one less course for us all to worry about. Alas."
Sailor Mercury Oh, there was plenty on her plate, but Ami Mizuno lived for this. This was something she was undoubtedly ''good'' at and the blue-haired senshi managed to pop her knuckles light she was preparing for a fight. Only, in this case, it was readying herself to wrestle everyone into a passing grade.

"We might have to pull some late nighters for it." Ami warned ominously. "But, if those in need wouldn't mind a sleepover here or there, I can organise some cram-lite at-home tutor-a--thons, and we'll see what I can do."

Ami nodded sternly.
Sailor Venus "I learned English from an Interpol officer friend back when I was Sailor V. So I guess most of my English is probably related to crime stuff," Minako has to admit with a thoughtful expression.

At least until Usagi suggests her tutoring idea wasn't the greatest! "Hey, it works for you and Mamoru-kun!" Of course, Mamoru was smart and not failing either!

Then the words are spoken: Late night. Cram. Tutor-a-thons. Her eyes glaze over and she gives a bright laugh, suddenly pointing straight ahead. "Oh look the palace I'm going to go ahead and check things out and uh..."

Skip skip skiiiip run!
Usagi Tsukino "Mamochan and Ami-chan both actually force me to study," Usagi says dryly, "You'd distract poor Roman-kun enough that Ami-chan might douse you both! She'll make you repent!"

And Minako must have realized that, because there she goes, sprinting away. The Moon Princess shakes her head, twintails bouncing.

"Poor Minako-chan. She hasn't accepted that there's no escaping Ami-chan!"

They are truly doomed.
Nephrite Masato turns a look to Makoto, now, as Minako flees towards the palace. It's that knowing thing, that little 'she is going to go faind that guy and flirt with him, isn't she' look. He's resigned to the knowledge.

Sapphire eyes turn to Ami. "Do you still have that big net?"
Mamoru Chiba Just as they're getting to the doors, a boy with red tipped black hair walks up, wearing the clothes he was in when they all henshined to fly after a falling spaceship: his school loafers, regular jeans, and a button-down short-sleeved light blue shirt over a plain white t-shirt. He does not belong in Crystal Tokyo. He belongs where he is headed to: over here slipping his arms around Usagi out of nowhere. "Hi."
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto glances over at Ami, "If you need some space for a sleepover, I can offer my place."
Makoto Kino Makoto returns Masato's askance look, with a lopsided smile of matching resignation. This is a thing that's happening. They will both simply have to live with the awareness of it.

Makoto has, perhaps, more pressing worries in any case. When Usagi remarks that 'there's no escaping Ami-chan,' she winces and laughs a little. "For what it's worth, I promise not to run away... much."
Sailor Mercury Ami turns just enough to peck a kiss at the side of Usagi's head. She was absolutely right. There was no escaping Ami-chan. Not when there were grades on the line. A happy wave is offered across the shared Usagi to Mamoru.

"I still have a couple, actually." Ami offered Masato a deceptively pleasant smile before it's turned to Makoto. "Thank you. It gives me more energy to chase after the really squirrelly ones."

A flash of sapphire towards Minako's wake before turning to Pluto properly. "It might wind up being a few people, so a bigger space would probably help."
Amy Faust     Amy's face brightens at the suggestion of ''study sleepovers''. That's half a fun thing, right?

Also, as people talk about their woes with not having magical English classes, she wonders, "Do that many of you struggle with English? I taught younger students before... I... I didn't think I was all that great at teaching it, but I could give it another go, if it'd help people over the summer..."

She looks to Ami and Pluto. "It's not like I have to figure it out from scratch. We should be able to get ahold of some high school English curricula, right?"

And there's Mamoru! "Oh, hey, Mamoru! How're you feeling? There was a lot of lightning."
Mamoru Chiba Mamoru smiles back at Ami across the shared Usagi, then looks wry at Amy. "You don't say," he says drily, then laughs. "I have a lot of feelings and they're all mixed up right now."
Sailor Uranus     Michiru looks concerned at Mamoru's response. "Anything we can help with?" She's also concerned for other reasons, but it's best to keep focused.
Nephrite Yes. Yes there was a lot of lightning... And Zoisite's little seedling is wearing off, too, so Masato can very much feel the wear and tear from being struck by it several times.

A lot of feelings, in several directions, is about how he feels too. None of it has yet settled in his mind, though-- it is still swirling with a wash of different things. Riventon's distinct power is, perhaps, chief amongst them presently, closely followed by the elation of the reawakened power of the Shitennou and Endymion that was just unleashed prior. His mind is ticking, too, on alchemy, and upon dark crystals, and churning over several other worries.

For the moment, he's just grateful that Makoto is helping him make it up the Palace steps.
Usagi Tsukino "Mamochan! There you are~!" She kisses him back, even if she has to rise on her toes to reach his cheek. "You had your hands in the grass, right? Did it help?"

Ami is then kissed next, to return the favor. Oh, to be in love and between two people who both want to kiss you! And while Ami-chan talks about the nets she would absolutely use to drag them back to their studies, ahaha she's not joking.
Mamoru Chiba There's a laugh again, rueful; Mamoru does bend down a little to meet Usagi's kiss halfway. "Thank you, Michiru-san, but chiefly, I have a brother to yell at, but I'm also really happy we won, and there are greater and lesser feelings all tied into all the things that happened today, and I can't untangle them all until I yell at my brother."

He's attached to Usagi he can't be pried off it's superglue oh no.

"It helped! I did and it helped lots. The Earth here is all better now, and -- even though I know that how it happened was awful and devastating, the planet itself is so much happier than ours. It was really nice to roll around in that and recover a little."

He glnces toward Masato then, and blinks. "Oh no, do you still need healing? I'm still mostly out of juice, but I can maybe do ''something'', you're walking like you're ninety."
Sailor Mercury All Ami has for the moment are smiles. It didn't matter to her that she was tired or that her body ached. It didn't even matter that there were still concerns to be had, those were problems for another day. For now, despite any outward appearances, Ami was content.

"The nets were for you." Ami said to Usagi beside her with a nervous laugh. "Well, not ''you'' you. Early on in my planning for New Moon and Wicked Lady, and, you know, I didn't ''know'' it was you at the time..."

Ami glanced Amy's way.

"The general course notes are freely available, Amy-chan. We can work out the materials we'd need for supporting study from that and whatever notes people have for where they're at." Standardisation was sometimes a very, very useful thing. "It's usually how I prepare for it. Tutoring, that is, because you don't generally want to be sending students off on tangents or diversions. Keep up with their class, so to speak."
Sailor Uranus     "The planet is happier than ours? After all that happened to it?" Michiru asks, tapping her chin. "I haven't tried to sense the ocean, but it's a little bit less 'emotion' anyways when I do." She says.

"Do you mean that after everything that happened, now, our planet's worse off than this one?"
Nephrite "It's alright, if my organs give out, Mako-chan can always carry me to the infirmary again," Masato jokes mildly, and it's an echo of his earlier 'I'm fine'-- and another exasperated ''look'' from Makoto'' -- but he's more serious when he says to Mamoru, "You need to rest too."

Gods, he does hope the planet is happier. It seems so. "Certainly smells better than it did," He murmurs, "The other Nephrite won't need that gas mask, anymore. The whole city is... beautiful, really." A beat. "The Volleyball nets were odd."
Mamoru Chiba "...it smells like green growing things in this city," Mamoru says a little helplessly to Michiru, dovetailing off Masato. "Have you ''ever'' smelled a city like this before? There are eight billion people on our Earth. From an ecological point of view-- this planet is healthier. It got fixed. The recent damage was put to rights. We killed the poison that was seeping in and killing ''all'' the life and choking the air with death. It doesn't have a psyche to be psychologically scarred, but I wouldn't want to touch the ruins out in the jungles and forests where there used to be cities. ''Those'' are probably full of thousand year old horror memories."

He looks at Neph again and nods. "I did. I am. I will. But if you're still hurt tomorrow, let me get you, okay?"
Amy Faust     Amy decides not to bring up that she still has pain turned off. Let Mamoru rest, and heal those who ''can't'' do that, first.

She looks between Michiru and Mamoru. "I mean... this was a sucky few months for the planet, but it looks like it's all better now," she waves a hand at the city, "and it's had ''centuries'' free of darkness, host to a civilization that cares about it rather than polluting it and ''trying'' to destroy it... so yeah, I'd imagine it's happier than ''our'' Earth."

She nods to Ami. "Good, good... well, then... you guys have helped me a lot, so I'm not gonna say no if there's a chance I can help some of you with English." she smiles.

"The veil is ''wack''. New Moon made so little sense -- with all the hints and little things she said, and having magic that didn't work with darkness and being so familiar with Mizuno-san and Mamoru -- my best guess was either that one of the future Senshi has a very different relationship wit King Endymion in this time and pulled a risky gambit to protect Chibiusa, or that Tamaki-san's reincarnation was one of Chibiusa's childhood friends and nobody realized."

She realizes something else and stops walking and looks at Mamoru. "Wait, were you being ''literal'', or metaphorical? The ''planet'' is ''happy?'' It... has ''feelings?''" She looks ''surprised'' but not at all ''doubtful'', and looks down at the ground beneath her feet in astonishment.
Nephrite Masato offers a faint smile back at Mamoru with a nod, "Deal."

Though, there is a very obvious cast of surprise when Amy mentions her theory included Jadeite, and-- well-- despite his general pains, Masato laughs wickedly and loudly.
Usagi Tsukino "Oh yeah, we were talking about him and taking bets on if these future versions of us are gonna zap him for that energy," Usagi delivers this in a calm but cheerful tone, swaying the mood from getting too heavy - she's glad that Mamoru isn't on the side of 'no, no, let him cook' on this one, because Riventon is up to something... ''dangerous'' now, if he's playing with Beryl energy.

But more importantly:

"It's happy now? Oh good! Good! That means everything's fixed all the way down, doesn't it?" This isn't just a skin deep soothing of the wounds, but a complete and proper healing.

"...oh, that also makes sense," ahaha, "Well, I'm glad you didn't have to use the nets on me! And I mean - the Veil kind of makes sense, when you think about it. It's hiding us, from everyone, even each other, so we can be safe. You didn't know I was New Moon, because it was a new form - when Sayaka-chan got her new transformation, we didn't know who she was either, and same with Chiyo-chan... it's all about protection, I think. Making sure no one can see who has the magic and ''know'' them later, unless they show themselves."

She's had time to think about it, since coming to understand that this was her Mother from another life's doing.

"...And... of course the Earth can feel happy! Don't you feel that warm, ''home'' sense when you touch Mamochan? That's the Earth. It's all warm, and cozy, and when we were here last time, it was sick, and... unhappy."
Sailor Mercury "I'm also glad that I didn't have to use the net on you." Ami agreed with Usagi, smiling warmly. "You did look good in the straw hat, but I prefer blonde over pink."

The mention of Tamaki garners a very interesting little squint. She opened her mouth and then closed it again, her head tilted very slightly. Ami hummed quietly.

"I do not think that Suikawa-san and I, in any incarnation, have the kind of relationship that would garner the sort of familiar affection that New Moon showed me." Ami was doing her best to be diplomatic.
Mamoru Chiba "It doesn't have a mind that thinks thoughts like people think thoughts, or even a mind at all -- or if it does, I certainly don't know how to get in touch with it -- but 'feelings' is the quickest shorthand for me to use for what I pick up. I mean, I'm anthropomorphizing the hell out of it," Mamoru says, finally detaching partly from Usagi, willing to go all the way back down to Just Holding Hands (unless she needs both hands). He elects to keep his mouth shut about Tamaki, no matter how ''damn funny'' it is, and no matter how infectious that Brian Blessed laugh is.
Sailor Uranus     Michiru is patient. Sort of. It's obvious something is bubbling up within her and she's biting her tongue out of politeness. But finally, after a moment, she just blurts it out. "Okay glad the Earth is good, but if you're here tell me who is watching Mad Science Incarnate?
Amy Faust     Amy blinks at Ami. "Ah. I don't... think I saw you together? But if New Moon was Usagi... yeah, that makes sense that would've happened."

She starts to mentally picture how that would've gone, but something inside her worries she'll just get ''more'' envious and maybe have other weird feelings and so she tries not to, and the discussion of Earth brings a distraction.

She looks pensive. "I do feel it. But thinking about it messed it up. It's a nice feeling, but then I couldn't enjoy it anymore..."

She kneels down on the ground and places her palm against it, fingers splayed. "[I'm sorry. The society that once covered you isn't your fault.]" She speaks in English. "[Thank you, for... existence, I guess.]"

Feeling a slight tightness in her throat, she stands and resumes walking towards the palace.
Mamoru Chiba "Oh-- sh--" starts Mamoru, eyes widening. He lets go of Usagi's hand and kisses the top of her head. And he starts to run, then pauses, seeing Amy ... kneeling ... and oh, oh, his heart. Before he runs for it, therefore, he reaches to squeeze her shoulder. That's all, no Contact, just a companionable 'I am here too even though words are hard'.

Then he books it. "See you guys later!"
Sailor Mercury Ami waved after Mamoru as he departed, something apologetic caught at the corners of her lips and eyes. Then she drifts attentin back to Amy as her hand lowers to her side again.

"Oh--" A sheepish little grimace. "Don't worry, I was mostly answering my own thoughts."

Not that Ami had anything specifically ''against'' the Shitennou, but Tamaki trying to hug her in her swimwear was definitely not a fond idea. Ami shuddered a little and looped her arm through Usagi's again, drawing closer with a sigh.
Usagi Tsukino There's a pensive somberness to Amy as she considers Usagi's words, and Usagi hadn't ''considered'' them to be all that impactful, but clearly they were, which makes her wish she had put more thought into them. Still, as the other girl knees and apologizes to the Earth - she can't catch every word, but she understands more than she would have two years ago - she watches quietly, and allows Amy to make her way, a little distances from the group. How had thinking about it messed things up?

But its a question for another time, because Michiru has reminded them of the ''important thing'' - if Mamoru is here, who exactly is watching Riventon?

"Oh the future Senshi re going to pop him like a grape," Usagi whispers and it's definitely mostly horrified. Mostly.

Mamoru takes off and she waves, and then grimaces at the group - "Okay, we should probably pick up the pace too, I guess, and then we can collapse in the castle..."
Nephrite "Collapsing sounds great," Masato is really feeling it now. Though, the image of Mamoru running to intervene on Riventon's havoc before the future Senshi descend upon him guillotine brings Masato some small measure of peace.

"Why does there have to be so many stairs between here and there?"
