Mamoru Chiba The place was not designed as a wedding venue, it was designed as a castle in the capital city of an empire-- but because of whose castle it was, and is, it has finally gotten to witness the vows of the wedding Earth and Moon have desired from time immemorial. Also, it had its ears covered (the barrier(s)) for the fight.

The important part right ''now'' is that it's been about twenty minutes since Kamiko pronounced the happy couple married, and ''they'' disappeared to get changed while everyone began setting up all the things that had safely been tucked away. The incredible spread over to one end of the garden space, with nine courses of tiny foods designed to be cute, delicious, at least a third pink, and walkable so that people aren't stuck to their tables to eat, and can instead mingle. Of course, if someone ''wants'' to just put things on their plate and take it to sit down, that's also doable!

The cakes are over ''that'' way, near the pink roses -- both the wedding cake and Chibiusa's birthday cake -- and the area with a slightly raised dias where people can Not Touch the Musical Instruments or Sound System Setup (what of one there is), and tables and chairs all set up, and a big marble-checkerboard-blocks patio with a white marble railing around it for dancing.

All around are slowly wilding roses and the lush greenery of the palace's gardens.
Rashmi Terios Having missed the entire fight against Wicked Lady -- Having her Barrier messed with *while active* did a number on Rashmi, not to mention all the bonking against falling rocks and the Palace and whatnot -- Rashmi had *needed* the break between Sailor Chibi-Moon's appearance, and the wedding itself. She was even more appreciative for the twenty minutes, allowing her time to get her head back in place, break out the food, and with Koji's help arrange the spread *just right.*

But now all the work is done, all the boo-boos tended to, and all her responsibilities discharged. And she can, for the moment, finally *relax.* There is nothing to worry about that can be affected at all today, and nothing that can shatter the barrier of the joy of friends being wed.
Norie Okana La Crima is here. Dressed in a fancy purple dress. It's not fluffy, and more femme fatale. She's looking over the food options and purses her lips, staring at a Usagigiri. It stares back. She stares at it. It slowly floats into the air... because she's lifting it up, and takes a big bite. Her foe... has been defeated.

She flicks her fingers together, getting rid of errant rice grains onto the plate as she walks over to Rashmi. "This is pretty good. Did you do the cooking? Who did the cooking?" she asks as she looks around. Curiously. She wasn't in the fights, instead opting to stay back and join Riventon in not being punched by loads of purification.
Taro Yamada Technically, Taro is one of the people helping with the catering. While the battle had gone down, he'd been running around helping with last-minute touches for the meal, last minute decorations, watching the barrier nervously and hoping nothing exploded out of it -

But it was fine! Better than fine! Everyone was saved! The food is all prepared! The wedding was beautiful! Taro has slid into a corner so no one sees he's crying huge hot tears about how beautiful the wedding was and how love is real.
Minako Aino Except someone does notice! Chiyo, who was also helping with the catering and secondary back up in case of cake emergencies, steps over to Taro to offer him a hanky and a pat on his head fondly. She was a bit misty eyed too but not as much of a crybaby as her cousin could be!

As for Sailor Venus? She was over by the table sampling some of the food herself now that she had her appetite back from the whole 'yucky brainwashy attempt' feelings. A plate was in hand which had sampled a bit of many things, though she hadn't gone TOO wild. Instead she just stands near the end of one table munching happily while waiting for the newlyweds to show up again.

"I am a hundred percent taking a vacation after this."
Sailor Mercury Tucked off to one side of the dance floor, Ami Mizuno lingered with a plate in one hand and usagiri, already missing a bite, in the other. A bemused smile played at the corners of her mouth as she chewed, gaze drifting slowly over the area. Just ''seeing'' everyone she could.

She couldn't help but smile. Despite bruises yet to show or the lingering tiredness behind everything, there was joy. Deep, deep relief and joy.

They were home and now they had some hard won celebrating to do.
Amy Faust     Why ''is'' it all tiny food? When someone explains, Amy's like: "That's ''brilliant!''"

And she's happy to get to try many things, starting with the scallops.

And knowing Taro here she, too, comes by, concerned. (Chiyo gets a brief 'heya, Chiyo!' but she's concerned about Taro.) "Are you OK man?" Although if he says they're happy tears she's like ''ohhhhh'' yeah makes sense and just gives him a hug.
Kyouka Inai     Kyouka is in the garden because there's food. Well, not just because of that. Also because two of her favorite students are getting married. It's not like that sort of thing happens every day. She might make some pithy remark about how she's only 25 and feels like ''she's'' too young to think about getting married and maybe they should give it some more time but... well. Technically it's been an eternity already, so she'll just have to somehow reconcile the fact that she is actually the junior in comparison to this relationship.

Not that it matters, in the end. She's seen a lot of weird shit, and past-life eternal miracle romance is hardly the weirdest. And for once it isn't weirdness that's trying to kill her (at least now that the fighting is over) so she's perfectly content to munch on some fancy food (distinct from fancy feast) and linger to the side, doing a fairly good Kazuo impression, holding up the wall.

She's even dressed up! Which is to say she's wearing her school clothes, a white button-down women's dress shirt and pressed black slacks. To be fair it's probably the fanciest clothing she owns, and it doesn't look out of place. At least she left the leather jacket off.

    Shades are still on though.
Makoto Kino In their own pride of place near the pink roses, the cakes await - two of them, each one flanked by an array of matching petits fours.

The wedding cake is a big two-tier affair, perhaps surprisingly simple in its way, except that both tiers have been shaped into the gently curving petals of a stylized lotus. It's a fluffy white cake with fresh strawberry filling between the layers, iced with white whipped frosting liberally edged with edible glitter. The upper tier is topped in the center by a candy Silver Crystal on a little gold-leaf starburst. It's surrounded by petit fours with the same whipped icing topped with sliced strawberry fans or white-and-yellow frosting camellias.

The ''second'' cake is not, as one might expect, the groom's cake... although it might be taken for one at a distance. It's a tuxedo-style cake, layer upon layer of chocolate and white chocolate mint colored pink, cake alternated with lush pudding, adorned with pink frosting ribbon garlands and red frosting roses and topped with a single ornate pink-and-gold candle. Alongside the candle, several adorable little mochi bunnies gather around a message carefully lettered in gleaming gold leaf: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

The accompanying petit fours are divided between chocolate mint and regular chocolate, decorated with sugared rose petals or tiny icing bunnies. If Makoto disappeared for a little bit during the setup to make a hasty adjustment once it became clear the cakes would not need to be presented while Wicked Lady was still Wicked, it doesn't show now, except in a tiny pink frosting smudge on her cheek right in front of her right ear.

For the moment she's still hovering near the cake tables, unable to fully relax quite yet, even though she's shed both her henshin and her apron in favor of a pale green gown with a fern-like leaf pattern in darker greens. The crystal flower pendant on its y-chain glitters over her neckline, the matching bangle on her wrist.
Rashmi Terios "Koji-kun and I came up with the dishes," Rashmi answers La Crima, beaming at the magnitude of the compliment. After all, when someone had had KiraKiraFantastica donuts, and is complimenting the kitchen on *non-sweet* treats, that's a big deal. "But a whole bunch of people put it all together -- Ah! Like Chiyo-chan and Taro-san over there! But I'm glad you like them, Norie-chan, thank you!"

And as she looks out over the assembled party-goers, her face lights up. "Inai-sensei! Sorry Norie-chan I need to go say hi..." With bows and apologies and exhortations to 'try the heart potatoes!' Rashmi breaks away to approach the school counselor. "Hello Inai-sensei! Feels like it's been forever, how are you?"
Nephrite Between setting up, everyone filing in, and checking up on certain people-- whether they were getting cleaned up or changing out of henshin-- Nephrite could be seen weaving through the party. Making sure things and people were accounted for.

He had been a swirl of cape, wavy hair and long strides, on the move rather than getting anything to eat as yet. Rather, he was pointing out menu items and crediting Koji and Rashmi. Reminding people not to approach the instruments on stage, that Karaoke would come later. Doing his level best not to tear up again at the sight of the glorious cakes Makoto had made.

By the time he rounded to take a moment for himself, he had inevitably ended up at Makoto's side again. Smiling rather broadly, indeed looking quite a bit happier than perhaps anyone had really seen him before and unable to hide the fact. He was bright with joy and affection.

His hand hovers at the small of Makoto's back as he leans in closer, subtly taking his thumb to gather the pink frosting from her cheek.
Taro Yamada "Thanks, Chiyo," Taro says, scrubbing his face with Chiyo's hanky.

"Don't worry, Amy, I'm fine. It's just, my parents were the same age when they got married so this is... really nice..." Sniff. Hugs her.

"Should we go get some food? We should have enough for everyone in theory, but fighting works up an appetite."
Kyouka Inai     Kyouka glances up as Rashmi approaches her, giving a crooked smile and a lift of one shoulder in an absent shrug. "Well, I've been around but there's only so much I can do when it comes to actually beating down the bad guys, so... but showing up for the victory party?" She raises a hand, a pastry between her fingers, in a mock salute. "Now that I'm always down for."

As for how she is, the question gets another mild shrug. "At a wedding on the moon, so I think it's safe to say I'm having a more interesting day than a lot of people in the world. Plus it's a happy occasion for friends, so that's always a good day. How about you, hangin' in there?" She takes a bite of said pastry as she allows the girl to answer.
Minako Aino Sailor Venus watches those that come and go with keen eyes. Given she'd been playing double for most of the fight, she had just retained her henshin for now to stand by. As a guard. Even though there were many that were relaxed she was still well aware there were those out there that might attempt to interrupt this marvelous event and she was not going to be caught by surprise this time!

A meatball is popped into her mouth to chew as she finds her gaze wandering toward the cakes and the *other* couple blossoming over there. *Gulp*

A sudden, high pitched squeal comes from her as she bolts over to Ami. Arm slinging around her friend's shoulder she hiss-whispers, "Ami look! LOOK! Mako-chan! And Nephrite and *oh my god* I remember he said he was dating someone now too!" Brain, what HAVE you been focusing on!?
Zoisite Upon the dias, where the instruments reside (or the very few that were brought for the occasion), a well loved yet well kept cello awaits for its owner--but only for a moment.

Zoisite has still not dehenshined from his uniform, finding it fit for the moment until a more opportune time would come for him to change to his reception clothes. For now, pants would suit him just fine.

Having finished setting up the selection of backtracks he had made for the occasion (and gods only knew where he found the time but he did), he returns to his chair, music notes splayed upon the holder that stood tall in front of him. No, he did not need it, but just in case--always just in case.

Cello now between his lets, fingers gently plucking at strings before bow pressed, softly. The first notes of ''Moon's River'' filled the rose garden, setting the mood as all would finally gather to celebrate.

Well, until the speeches were to be had, of course.
Amy Faust     Kyouka has less relationship experience than Usamamo. Amy has less living-as-a-girl experience than classmates who remember far fewer years in total. Such is life.

Amy is a ''bit'' surprised at Taro's explanation. "Really? Ah." She's happy to recieve the hug, as she tries to think of what to say. Not really sure what angle to take there. "Oh uh, yeah, sure! I just tried the scallops, but I know they got KiraKiraFantastica ingredients for some of these dishes too so they're gonna taste ''extra'' amazing. Like, magically amazing!"

As they walk towards the refreshment table she wonders, "I think the youngest any of my friends married -- last time I mean -- was like 25. But, I didn't have a lot of friends, so, maybe someone in my class did for all I know..."

"...Did you ever get to go there? KiraKiraFantastica I mean. Hay fries and hayburgers are way better than they sound. Also some sorta cheesy oatmeal thing."
Mamoru Chiba Finally, the couple appears! At the main entrance to this garden, coming from the direction of the path from the front, Usagi and Mamoru sweep in, wearing a pair of summer yukata -- pink and white blossoms on Usagi's with a bright pink obi, and on Mamoru, navy blue with light blue leaves hand-painted down the sleeves, and a light blue obi. Mamoru waves! They both look happy, they both look exhausted, but did we mention the happy? The groom's eyes, behind his glasses, are still overly bright and a little red-rimmed. That might have been the makeup remover in addition to the joy, though.

They do the standard posing for pictures for the roughly one point five seconds that they're obligated to, and then come the rest of the way in to mingle with their friends and eat delicious tiny food and ogle the cakes and--

One thing at a time.

Zoisite gets a really grateful look. Rashmi, Minako, Masato, where's Koji? (around here somewhere)-- Mamoru's talking to Usagi but looking and eyes-crinkling at all their friends.

"I know you got to try little things here and there, but all of it together -- and all the tiny cakes! It looks like-- it looks so good, damn..."
Chibiusa Tsukino     Mou Fubuki is in the background, ice skating around the outskirts of the wedding venue. She didn't participate in the battle proper because ''someone'' had to watch their backs. Even though no one else has shown up yet, Mou felt justified in her concern since apparently she wasn't the only one to worry about it. So there's a trail of damp moon somewhere in the distance as the snow angel patrols one more time before heading back for food.

Yes, she saw the vows, and they were adorable. She'd probably appreciate them more if her heart weren't frozen, but at least she can think about them in retrospect.

Chibimoon, on the other hand, is here where the food is and looking a little bit taller. She is staying in henshin, and if people want to assume that's because this is a 'come in your henshin' wedding then they are free to do so. However, the truth is that she's ''really really'' wanted to be a Sailor Senshi for like... actual centuries and she finally gets to be one and even she's back to her old somewhat-grumpy self she actually kinda has a smile on her face today.

Not just because of the birthday cake she's currently eyeing, either!

It's fine if the cake is a week early. What is a week to someone who has lived for nearly a thousand years? This is also the day she got something she ''really'' wanted, so it's a fitting day to celebrate!

Also she got to see her parents' wedding in person. Not every child gets to say that. So yes, we have a smiling smol bun here.
Coco Kiumi Even if they were supposed to be coming, the touching family moment right after Chibiusa was purified might be one of the most wholesome thing Coco had ever witnessed after such an intense fight (that was admittedly not a high bar to clear, but still she meant it, so it had to count for something).

There was also the very wedding vows Mamoru and Usagi professed to each other when things had quieted down. That was in a tier of its own, and the yellow princess was definitely feeling quite satisfied at the fulfillment of the love they felt for each other.

Right now, she had gone back to wearing her royal dress, and she is just casually mingling with her friends, and she is carrying around a sample of mini food for tasting whenever there is nothing special going on. Or to offer to Rihito. Either one.

She is also waiting for her cue to sing, but that's just something easy to keep in the back of her mind until the agreed upon moment comes. Until then, Coco is going around arm-to-arm with her boyfriend, and the group of attendants she had called has been left to their own devices, mostly enjoying the food without attracting attention.

"Oh, really?" Coco speaks up surprised at hearing Amy mention they got KiraKiraFantastica ingredients for it. "That must have been really hard to pull off. They really went all out."
Taro Yamada "My dad was going to be deployed soon, so my parents got married before then just in case," Taro says. "Which is sort of like what happened here? Getting married before anything can be forgotten or we get another world destroying monster to fight. Just in case something happens." Sniff. "Except, of course, everything did end up happening to them, but they dealt with it and they can be married and get old together and have kids. Which - if anyone deserves that, it's Mamoru and Usagi."

He hasn't talked to either of them much recently, but they'd helped pry him out of Obsidian, and Taro will forever be grateful about that.

"I've tried some of the failed food, but not the full dishes," Taro says as he proceeds to put one of everything on his plate. "...I have questions about the hay ingredients. Did you turn into a horse or is the food just that good?"
Makoto Kino "Ah--" Makoto startles just a little, before looking up at Nephrite with a smile and a trace of a blush. "Did I frost myself after all? And I was so careful." Her hand comes up to her face, fingertips checking the spot he just wiped with his thumb. The crystals on her bangle catch the light.

"Chiyo-chan and Taro-kun and I had a whole fancy reveal set up," she confides, "but it seemed a bit in bad taste once Chibiusa-chan was back to herself and all... and Mamoru-san probably wouldn't have liked it either."

She takes a moment for a glance around, then looks up at him again. "Are you feeling proud?" she asks. "Everything's gone so well."
Sailor Mercury For once, she wasn't even actually lost in thought. Ami had been quite happy to just take in the moment, to feel it without analysis or critique. So, when Sailor Venus--still in henshin to her ''not''--appeared and slung about her, the senshi almost lost her footing.

Not quite, but there was a momentary scramble to maintain her collection of snacks and treats. Particularly, the usagiri. Finally, her mind caught up with what had been whispered to her and sapphires flicked to Makoto and Nephrite for a moment.

"They look very lovely, don't they?" Ami mused.

Her attention was there short lived, stolen by the wedded couple. A gasp caught her and tired smile soared.

"Venus-chan! Look!"
Rashmi Terios "Well," Rashmi says to Kyouka, her smile turning a bit crooked, "Better than I was last week, at least. I'm just glad for the breather, and if *anything* can recharge our batteries, it's a *wedding on the freaking moon.* There's more, but Chrono would probably get mad if I tried to talk shop at a wedding, and Usa-chan would probably have my head. So I'll talk to you about it later, Inai-sensei, but I really *do* want to pick your brain some."

Leaving it at that, she returns Mamoru's eye-crinkling smile, and upon seeing Chibi-Moon, she approaches the slightly-less-toddlery future-kiddo. "So there's a secret about the food," she murmurs to Chibi-Moon. "Since the wedding was *supposed* to be on your birthday originally... We wanted to celebrate you in the menu, too. Everything that's cute and pink was made for *your* honor, Chibiusa-chan.

Yes -chan. Because -tan is a suffix for toddlers, and the Smol Pink has done a *lot* of growing up, today.

"Happy early birthday."

Her attention slides to Zoisite, and while a part of her is startled at his skill with such an instrument... Another part of her really isn't. It just seems perfectly on brand, for him to be (near enough to) a master cellist.
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto was amongst those who were running interference for the main fight, in her case a bit further out than most.

Thus it is when things settle down and the setup begins, it takes the oldest Senshi a bit longer to arrive, having taken a few minutes to rest before heading in.

She bounds in from outside the barrier, pausing briefly at the interface to tap the dust off her boots before easing herself through and into the area more conducive to relaxing and merriment.

Fortunately, she's just in time to see the two newlyweds make their entrance, and she smiles softly...happy to see the culmination of an event put off for far, FAR too long.

Pluto makes a pass by the refreshment table, lingering there for a few moments before heading over towards a spot a short distance away where she can take in the scene for a few moments.
Takashi Agera     As for Riventon? The boy in the white tuxedo is moving through the food, trying this and trying that. He's not... entirely comfortable here, now. Because of the purification of Wicked Lady. He's hoping nobody gets the terrible idea to try it on him, or LaCrima, and turn this wonderful moment into something less bad. But the less eyes on him and her in a hostile way, the more calm he gets.

Sometimes he looks out at the Earth, his home, the big blue world, and freezes, contemplating it while he contemplates the food in his mouth. Thinking about a lot of things, the situations that brought him here, brought everyone here.

The food is damn good, but he isn't sure how much his presence sticks out like a sore thumb because of what's in his head, or how much of it is true.
Amy Faust     Amy listens to the story. What's called to her mind is stories of GIs marrying before going off to war, before her brain remembers Taro means his dad went off to fight for ''Imperial Japan.'' A military she expects was crueller to its soldiers and also the losing side, so... Probably a rather different narrative. Oof.

She nods at the bit about getting married while you still have the chance. And smiles at how Usagi and Mamoru are getting their happy... middle? Honestly hopefully more towards the beginning in the grand scheme of things?

"Everyone deserves that but I get what you mean. It's... kinda nuts, huh? This feels almost like a happy ending but it's been ''two years,'' and they may well live for a thousand. I guess that's another way I'm seeing things more like a teenager now, but... more has happened in the past two years than happened in the prior two ''decades'', you know?"

Oh, and there are questions about KKF! She smiles and looks between Coco and Taro, "Oh, we turned into horses! I mean, they're not exactly like ''Earth'' horses, they're more like-- oh, we got pictures you can see later! It was really cool, Mamoru an' I got to be unicorns! Apparently Usagi's a pegasus. And, Hinoiri was given a shopping list and helped us navigate things, and I got caught up in a song, and oh hey there they are!"

Amy gives a smile and a quick wave to Mamoru and Usagi across the room.
Nephrite "It really has..." Nephrite even take a moment to lick the little bit of frosting off his thumb, not to let it go to waste. Even that little hint is a burst of sweet flavour that seems more powerful than it ought to be. "Proud, relieved, grateful. Everything else. I might keel over if anything else goes on my chest, today."

Sapphire eyes sweep towards the Bride and Groom in their yukata, and they look beautiful, comfortable, happy-- Mamoru holds his eyes for a moment and Nephrite grins. But he turns the smile to Makoto as well and glances at her cakes. "Bad taste or not, you outdid yourself preparing all of this, Mako-chan."
Jadeite As Usagi and Mamoru approach the desserts table, Jadeite claps his hands together and then throws out a light shower of snowflakes - not enough to wet, but just enough to mimic confetti. "Here comes the happy couple!" he cheers.

And when Mako and Nephrite come by, they get a similar shower of shimmering snow and a knowing grin from Jadeite. He's got an eye out for Kunzite, so he can get him and Zoisite when they unite -

"Riventon! I'm so glad you could make it! We couldn't have had this wedding without you," he chirps, toasting Mamoru's dear brother with his flute of sparkling moscoto grabe juice. (He thinks he recognizes the look on the other boy's face. He may as well try and put him at ease - after all, Mamoru would want his brother to be at ease at his wedding!)
Kyouka Inai     "I'm always here to talk. Just give me a holler." Kyouka says to Rashmi, with a smile, as she polishes off the pastry. "That's one thing I can do, and it makes me feel useful. But you're right.. parties aren't for talking about work. Go enjoy yourself." She sees the girl off with a wave of one hand, a faux-shooing motion, before returning to her casual perusal of the festivities. One could almost think she's keeping an eye out for trouble, given the way she maintains a relatively low profile, leaning on the wall, eyes scanning the room. But you'd have to assume she's some kind of paranoid crazy person to think that. Ha ha.

Still, whether she's looking for it or not, trouble is mercifully absent. Seeing Mamoru and Usagi finally enter, she's unable to keep a smile from her face. It's good to see them being happy, and even if you consider this union fated, knowing something is going to happen and actually seeing it brough to fruition are two separate matters. It's not like she had any hand in it, but being the teacher she allows herself some minor sense of satisfaction that everyone is alive and in one piece in order to be here and enjoy this moment.

Then she goes to get another one of those pastries.
Kazuo Saitou The white tuxedo is being tracked.

Kunzite - also still in henshin, because Zoisite is - threads his way through the food tables without taking any. It's an unhurried approach, filled with pauses to glance back at the cellist, to catch a glimpse of Chibiusa and almost-smile, to let his gaze flit past Nephrite and Makoto without settling on them (there shall be no flustering the cakemaker), to tip his head to the side with amusement when Jadeite snowshowers Usagi and Mamoru.

This means that Jadeite gets to his target first, and Kunzite refactors - coming up to stand close enough to Jadeite that Riventon doesn't feel he's being boxed in, far enough from Jadeite that Riventon doesn't feel he's being ganged up against. "Yes," he says, and gives Riventon a small, courteous bow. "Thank you for standing up for him. This may be the only time in my life I say this, but it wouldn't have been right if it were one of us."
Minako Aino Sailor Venus smiles broadly as she hugs on Ami, totally out of henshin while she wasn't. It's obvious the two know one another but... Perhaps, just perhaps, it might not be an identity outing to those who were of the other faction. Who knows. Either way? Her grin deepens when she sees the newlyweds come out.

"Finally," Venus murmers quietly just gazing at her Princess and her Prince in adoration. This had been a long, long time coming after all! "Maybe now things can... No I won't say that, it'll jinx us." Solemnly she nods and allows the sidelong hug on her friend to fall away.

So much is going on! Jadeite doing the sparkly sprinkles of snow, Zoisite playing the cello beautifully, Kunzite being all hot over there no she's not staring.

"Wait who's the other white haired guy? Mamoru's brother right?"
Makoto Kino When Mamoru and Usagi rejoin the festivities in their yukata, Makoto's eyes turn inevitably toward them. For a little while she just stands and watches the pair of them, smiling warmly. It wasn't easy getting here, but here they are, and they look so happy... here, where so much ended so long ago.

Jadeite's little snow flurry catches her off-guard, and she laughs, startled, shaking her head. "Hey!"

A quick swipe of her hand attempts to brush away snow that isn't there. "It wasn't just me," she answers Nephrite. "Chiyo-chan and Taro-kun did a lot of the decorating work. But I'll accept my share of the credit. All of the food turned out amazing."
Takashi Agera     Riventon turns and regards Jadeite and Kunzite. There's a look of concern on his face for a moment that softens and he shakes his head. "We've been standing up for each other for a long time, even when we think the other person is doing something... ill advised." Riventon notes. "At least a long time relative to this life, anyways." He says.

"There's a lot to think about, though. Being here. I'd seen some of it but now my feet are making footfalls on the surface of the Moon, on the Palace of a literal Moon Kingdom. It's different than just hearing about it or dreaming about it." he notes.

"Just can't shake the feeling I'm a bit out of place here. The Dusk Zone is far away from this place. More distant to me than it's ever been." He says, before turning to regard Mamoru.

"Ah, but he's happy like this. That's very good. That's what I wanted to see out of it. He's happy and his adopted-but-not-adopted kid is back to normal. If a bit sparklemode now. That's a better ending than it looked like it was going to be."

He regards the two Shitennou. "What's it like? Being tied to a duty from another life. Witnessing this event that was set in motion a lifetime ago for you two? I suppose that isn't something I'll ever truly be able to understand." he muses.
Zoisite Focus was fully on the endeavors of music as far as most would care to look. Not a note off, not even a wavering. But green eyes did lift some to gaze a bit towards Kunzite, offer a smile that make his eyes beam with excitement before continuing with his part.

Each note found on the finger board, the brush of bow at strings, the next melody comes-- a more traditional Pachelbel's Canon in D. And after that, another soft instrumental song--

Keep the air busy, washing away ''most'' of the negative memories that this place held. Soon he'd find a stopping point to properly join Kunzite and the rest.
Chibiusa Tsukino     Sailor Chibimoon looks up to Rashmi as she approaches, because even though she's grown up a bit she's still short enough that she has to look ''up'' to most other mahoujin.

"I knew the date changed, though the details are a bit fuzzy to me." With a bright smile, she says, "Thank you so much! Everything here looks so delicious, and I really like all the cute little foods!"

Tiny girl likes tiny snacks. Who knew?

Mamoru and Usagi are back, and her tiny red eyes turn towards them. She waves happily at her alt-parents. Small Lady, big smile!
Usagi Tsukino The happy bride is exhausted, but she's hardly going to let that get in the way of her wedding day! Too much has happened and so much has been achieved, and she's hardly going to resist having a great time with her friends.

Like Mamoru, Usagi is dressed up in a yukata, pale pink with cherry blossoms, her bright pink obi bordering on red, and she's smiling at her friends, sticking close to Mamoru more out of overwhelming affection than anything else.

Her eyes are bright, her smile is wide, and her hair is - well, it's not fully regrown yet, but it's already down between her shoulder blades from stopping just at her shoulders, so it's likely that by the end of the day, or the next, it will be it's original length again. The magic of - magic?

She's snagged herself a plate of food, and is snacking excitedly on the Usagiri (is that cannibalism) and the fake pops. When she sees Chibiusa - in her new henshin - waving, she waves back excitedly!
Nephrite Jadeite recieves a sidelong look and a mischievous sort of smirk for the snow-dustings. Cheeky bastard.

"Well, I'll be sure to invite both of them on the cruise, then..." Nephrite notes of Chiyo and Taro, perhaps a little cryptically-- there will be beaches and hotels and Summery drinks and volleyball and swimming and sunbathing. And kicking in Demande's teeth. And then a cruise, he thinks, like a cherry on top.

He overhears a little of what Riventon is saying, as he and Makoto are only a few more steps away, and his attention drifts towards the dais where Zoisite is playing; pouring his feelings into the music. What is it like? Bittersweet, in many ways. Difficult in some, and deeply healing in others. But for the first time in this life, Nephrite-- Masato, in fact-- feels like everything is exactly how it is supposed to be. Somehow he has worked his way here.

He lifts Makoto's hand to peck at her knuckles affectionately on that thought, letting the crystalline bangle glitter again.
Sailor Mercury Ami let attention wander back to Makoto and Nephrite for a moment, before she was diverted to Riventon. The remainder of the usagiri disappeared and then she looped that, now-free, arm through Venus' elbow. Ami tugged gently at her.

"Come on. Let's go say 'hello' to them, then."

Ami knew Minako well enough. She just needed an excuse.
Jadeite "You're his brother. You'll always have a place here, even if it feels strange," Jadeite says. (Unless Riventon starts something, but Jadeite knows Riventon won't ruin this, knows he is of the same mind as the rest of them that Mamoru should be happy, so - while Kunzite keeps an eye on things, Jadeite will roll out the red carpet.) "He was from Earth too, and he found his place here. I hope we can find something like that eventually - you make him happy too."

Jadeite considers the question about duty, about reincarnation - "For me - I'm not quite the guy from thousands of years ago, but I'm not the boy who was born here and now, either. I'm following him because it was the duty of the man in the past, but also because the boy of the present trusts and believes in him too. You may not understand that, but - you have ideals you believe in strongly enough to fight for. He makes me want to fight for him just as fiercely, because I think I can entrust the future to his hands."
Veronica Perenna Veronica is now actually attending as herself. There is after all hardly anything that might pose a risk with the two major villainesses purified and the second one cheerfully enjoying her own henshin.

The happiness she was feeling would have, in Veronica's opinion, been contagious even in the absence of any other reason to be happy, but with how close it was to her birthday, the cat thief had the assumption it might be all the more special for the pinkette.

And the newly minted Sailor Senshi is now walking around, so the Princess of Sarek turns around towards her, wanting to at least give her the proper cheers. "Happy birthday, Chibiusa! Are you taking your fill of this delicious food?"

Food that she will probably make disappear a bit of, later, when she is sure beyond doubt that there are no risks of leaving someone without.
Chibiusa Tsukino     Sailor Chibimoon sees Veronica approach and turns her bright smile towards her, too. "Thank you! Oh... I've been spending so much time admiring it that I forgot to get any. Um... wait for me!" she says as she rushes to the nearest food table. She grabs a small plate and stacks a few bits of food onto it. Especially some of the tiny cakes mirroring her birthday cake! Chibiusa doesn't touch the actual cake yet, because she figures the cake cutting is being saved for later. She knows how birthdays go.

When she gets back to Veronica, it's after eating one of the tiny usagigiri. "Of course, even though I'm bigger now, my tummy is still small. I gotta save room for cake!" Munch munch munch swallow. "What about you? Oh, I really like your cat ears! I don't think I ever noticed them before."

With awkward laugh, she adds, "I guess I'm not a phantom thief anymore, but it was fun being one."

Where did Luminous Titan end up, anyways?
Kazuo Saitou Kunzite gives a brief shrug to the out-of-place comment. "We're from Earth," he says. "That used to be as out of place as it got, up here. I know, not the same, but..." His eyes track up to the skies as he's saying that, seeking the planet overhead in his own turn without even thinking about it.

And come back down to Riventon and Jadeite, thoughtful rather than wary. "It's not being ''tied'' to a duty," he agrees. "We're not here with him because it's required of us. We're here with him because we wanted to be, both at the end of our last lives, and choosing again in this one. He is -" He lifts a hand, empty, then lowers it again. "An irresponsible adrenaline addict with a terrible sense of humor and an entire collection of emotional issues. And also a steadfast light of hope and faith, with an immense capacity for forgiveness and the strength to know when not to use his strength. I spent most of my life missing him terribly without ever having had the faintest idea who he was. And this ..." No hands this time; remembering not to risk that. But he nods with his head toward where the ceremony took place. "Being able to do the right thing this time doesn't make up for the choices I made before. But it redeems one or two of them, a little. I keep a memorial for his mother from then; I'll bring her a picture, if I can, and a little of the cake. The important thing, though, is that they love each other ''now.'' And that this is right for them in ''this'' life."
Minako Aino "Right, yes," Venus agrees easily as she's pulled along by Ami toward the gathering of those around Riventon. She pointedly tries not to glance at Kunzite too much. But in that attire, in this place, it brought back memories. So many things did.

It's the strange faces, and the foods that help to anchor her to the here and now. Ami tugging her along and not Mercury. Zoisite playing the cello.

Lifting a hand she waves unnecessarily, grinning bright, with a quick gereting of, "Hello Mako-chaaan! Hi Nephrite!" She might have teased more, but instantly the sight of the bracelet earns a laugh. "Ah good you got her the bracelet! Good good." An agreeable nod comes.

"So! I don't think I've met all of you properly yet," she states with a toothy grin.
Entrapta The arrival of Entrapta was so quiet it was not even noticed. See back there? That's when it happened. What is she doing? Well, CLEARLY she's studying this social experiment as she simply must do!

Goggles on, notepad out, she's hiding behind a pillar or a person, either/or, and taking ....gasp.

Notes!

Also she's stolen some tiny food from people as they walk past. One doesn't go 'get your own', that's ridiculous. "People are showing signs of heightened states of agitation. Might be misreading social cues. File for later study."
Amy Faust     The man and woman of the hour are dressed in yukatas! Dang, they make a ''variety'' of clothes look good! Amy wonders if she'd look as good in as many different clothes. ''Note to self, find that out in the future.'' she thinks. Like yes she's used her powers for cosplay but not quite so many like... civilian outfits. She also wonders why it is that when she pictures 'manga panel of bride and groom' it tends to be the Western-style suit-and-dress. Some sort of bias in her sample? And what would ''she'' we-- Okay, brain not ready for that thought, think of something else.

Kyouka is less fancily-dressed than she'd expect. And seeing her reminds Amy of that second evening, near the end of her first twenty-four hours as a magical girl, where she was stuck chaperoning the dance. She wonders if Inai-san ever feels a bit apart from others. She shouldn't have to.

Amy takes one of the fake pops and walks over to the taller redhead. "Not one for dresses, huh? You kinda look the same as at work, though. I mean, not magic work, the other work." ''Why did you pick this topic of conversation to open with oh my god,'' she thinks to herself. Not like she could have launched into what was really on her mind!

She holds a hand to her forehead. "I'm sorry. Um." She blinks. "Damn. We have basically barely talked, come to think of it... But this whole thing has been wild, huh? Oop."

A little bit of gravy drips off the meatball onto the floor. She pops it into her mouth before any more can drip and is left chewing instead of talking for a moment.
Taro Yamada "It feels a lot longer than two years," Taro admits to Amy. "So much keeps on happening. We've all almost died at least once every six months. At this point, I'm half expecting to fight Godzilla for Halloween and Darth Vader at Christmas. But - the fact that they CAN be together after all this time is really good. We'll get plenty of happy sequels."

Or they had better, not that the universe has ever listened to his requests for less drama.

He listens about Kirakirafantastica and - "Huh. I wonder if I'd be a unicorn? With a red horn," like his blades!

He waves to Usagi and Mamoru as they walk past, then delicately snags another mussel and puts it on Amy's plate.
Makoto Kino "A cruise, huh?" Makoto quirks a brow, green eyes dancing. "Is that going to be before or after the week-long nap you've earned with all your hard work making this happen?"

As Ami and Minako head over toward them, Makoto lifts her other hand - the one Nephrite doesn't currently have monopolized - to offer them a little wave. She's blushing brightly now, especially when Venus grins at them like that. "I should've realized you were in on that," she says with a laugh, unconsciously touching the matching pendant. "Good job keeping the secret." A quick, amused sidelong glance to Nephrite. "I guess I really was the last one to know, huh."
Zoisite At the last shivering notes of Moonlight Legend, there is a deep, satisfied sigh that the first session of music was done for now. He'll return to it later, perhaps provide backup for Princess Coco whenever she wanted something extra.

Up on his feet, the cello is carefully placed off to the side along with the music sheet holder, so it wouldn't be in anyone's way.

And without much warning, he begins to dehenshin. The elaborate dance of cherry blossom petals burning in flames as his uniform dissipates in favor of his evening outfit. Dark viridian green silk charmeuse dress with a short trail, covered in floral crystal patterns that stuck out as they shined in the light. Thigh high slits on each side, and low cut back to reveal the strings of gems that made up the crystalline spine--a bit of an extra touch of human structure that blended well with the flora theme he was going for. High heels with straps covered in the same gems. His nails were of the same matching viridian, metallic in its sheen. As for his hair, it was a bun crown of loose braids, some glitter and extra crystals peeking through his coppery red hair.

"Princess Coco, if you'd like to entertain the guests next, the stage is all yours." Izou smiles, lips of nude lipstick, before he steps down from the dias, heels carefully clicking against the stone.

Everything else was a bit of a blur as he made his way towards Kunzite, that smile reaching his eyes and quietly wondering what his boyfriend would think of the evening wear.
Mamoru Chiba Mamoru laughs and brushes snow from his pink-tipped hair, then lets his hand brush Usagi's in passing (who is this squeaking bouncing joyous boy who can barely think straight? the Mamoru under Mamoru's skin, that's who), then walks until he slows to a stop in the middle of everyone, just soaking in the good feelings everyone has. His feet are bare on the sunny stone patio and he's wearing discreet earplugs and he takes his glasses off to polish them.

A second later he's putting them back on and squaring his shoulders to start hugging people-- and then he sees Zoisite dehenshin and stares.

He gets out his phone and immediately takes pictures of Kunzite, then Zoisite, then Kunzite and Zoisite together as Zoi's on the approach...
Rashmi Terios As Chibi-Moon rushes off to fill her plate, Rashmi bobs her head in greeting to Laura with a quiet chuckle-- then spots a familiar flicker of purple on the edge of the gathering. A fond smile touches her face as she drifts back to the buffet table, putting together a bit of everything on a plate, before walking it over to Entrapta. "Y'know, you *can* just graze at the table if you want, Entrapta-chan," she says, offering the plate to the Princess of Dryl -- the name being important, as it separates her from all the *other* princesses in attendance. "What're you observing this time?"

She starts to say more, but Zoisite's de-henshin snags her attention, and the Devicer's eyebrows climb up to her hairline. "...Wow," she says under her breath. "That boy can *rock* that dress."
Entrapta Entrapta smiles at Rashmi's help with her study! She's not a spy. "I'm drawing outfits!" she shows her sketches. "People are doing all of the things," she adds, stealing from the offered plate as if it was something to take from. She's not totally in the loop as to how this all works.

Pause. She pokes Rashmi, then starts to follow Zoisite. What is she doing? JUST SAID! She's drawing that holy damn backpiece, trying to get the details. "Be right back, I need to get this."

There are times when you go out for field work. This is one of them.
Amy Faust     Oh good Taro is still here! She smiles back to him, "I mean, we ''did'' fight a giant monster at Halloween -- ''which ruined my chance to go trick-or-treating'' -- and we have to save Christmas every year!

And she grins excitedly as Taro considers a hypothetical ponysona. "Oooh, that'd be cool! You should ''totally go'' sometime, we gotta talk to Hinoiri about that later!"

The music -- Amy kept thinking she heard a bit of a familiar song, but she doesn't know this one -- stops and there's an eye-catching dance of petals and flowers and she looks over and... Dang. Saitou-san ''does'' pull off a dress amazingly and he's got the clicky heels too. Clearly the cool clicky sound is the point of heels and she finds herself thinking she's got to try some sometime.
Veronica Perenna Veronica waves at Chibiusa and gazes around the other people at the celebration while the pinkette goes to take her provisions of food for the evening, or for when the cake arrives at least, which she is not sure when is going to happen. Maybe when the reserves of tiny food have dipped below a certain point? Or when they want to inject fresh excitement into the party?

Veronica chuckles. "Of course, of course. And good things come to those who wait, so you are very wise to save yourself for later. I am sure Makoto made a great job with your cake."

Attention then is brought to her cat ears. "Uh, yeah, we have hardly ever met outside of fights right?", she muses, mentally scrambling to remember any other occasion.

"Yeah, there was always something big going on. I don't blame you for missing them. Why, did you want to touch them? I assure you it's nothing you haven't felt already." She means with cats, but given rhe "kidnapping", she is not sure if a similar scenario ever showed up with the orange Etherian under accusation.
Setsuna Meiou For a time, Sailor Pluto just lets the ebb and flow of the reception wash over her as she indulges in some people watching.

The small knuckle of people around Riventon gets a raised eyebrow, and Pluto makes a mental note about having a conversation with the kind-of/sort-of ally at some point.

Zoisite's dress gets an arched eyebrow and a slight impressed nod from the greenhaired Senshi.

Spotting Rashmi walking across the floor, Pluto smiles and walks over to intercept her...coming up to the redhead just a few moments after Entraptra starts heading over to get sketchies, "Enjoying the evening, Rashmi?"
Minako Aino Sailor Venus was about to say something--Something witty and flirtatious no doubt--but such words die before they can be uttered. Because Zoisite changes back into Izou, in a dress that was absolutely to die for. All she can do is gape at the approaching Izou.

At least until he's within hearing distance. If this were any girl, she would admit she were gorgeous. It's ZOI though! She reddens a bit, and blurts out, "Oh biiitch you're such a showoff!" out of habit.

"You know you're not supposed to try and one up the bride."
Nephrite Nephrite smiles at her knowingly, letting her have her hand back, and murmurs to Makoto, "I'm full of surprises like that. But after... definitely ''after'' the nap."

He is all smiles at Sailor Venus and Ami, too. It can hardly be contained-- he is happy and handsome and among friends. And then Mamoru is taking pictures, and his head turns, because Zoisite is now Izou, and Izou has dressed up for his boyfriend to an extravagant degree. Sapphire gaze flicks immediately to Kunzite. His brows rise.
Sailor Mercury Ami beamed brightly as Makoto waved, the sparkling hint of both bracelet and pendant impossible to miss. Her final comment is met with a faint nod.

"I am afraid so." The sigh is clearly affected, though rather poorly. "But, I definitely didn't have the heart to ruin Nephrite-kun's moment."

Not much could hide her joy for just being ''here''. With her friends--her family.

Izou's floral transformation catches her attention briefly before her eyes ultimately slip to Usagi and Mamoru.

"It's nice to see you smile like that, Mamoru-kun."
Kazuo Saitou The cello has stopped. Kunzite glances Zoisite's way without thinking, in time to catch the flicker of tiny flames as they swirl their way through the changes.

The without-thinking thus continues for a few moments, through Izou smiling at Coco, stepping down from the stairs, moving through ''oh he's coming this way.''

That's when Kunzite lets go of his own transformation, in front of Riventon and everybody. It is, both unsurprisingly and of necessity, far less impressive than Zoisite's change - both in the change itself and in the result. Kazuo is dressed in a perfectly-fitting Western-style suit, a dark backdrop for Izou's crystals and for his own hair. The only touch of color is the deep green tie and pocket square... with the faintest hint of sparkle in turn, as if receiving the reflections off the crystalline facets.

He straightens (was he not standing as tall as possible already? somehow he straightens ''more'') and steps to meet Izou partway. Reaching for Izou's hand and bowing over it gravely.

... apparently having completely forgotten he was just talking with Jadeite and Riventon. Possibly having forgotten the tables exist except for the abstract need not to walk into them.
Entrapta Entrapta returns to Rashmi's position, trying to find her. Trying, but realizing that people: A: Move around, and B: Interact.

This is all good information, but she has this super-cute pencil drawing of Zoi's dress she wants to share, darnit!
Rashmi Terios "Entrapta-chan wai--" ...Yeah she never had a hope of getting her kohai to wait. So here she is just... standing there with a plate of Entrapta Snacks, sighing, when Setsuna approaches. "...Honestly more than I even thought I was gonna," she admits to her older friend. "And I was *looking forward* to this. It's just... Kinda wish Molly-chan coulda been here to see it, but hey, I'll *happily* take already delivering the beat-down on the bad guy and then watching *everyone's* friends get married."

Luckily, she hadn't gotten *that* far when Entrapta returns successful, and waves her free hand. "That was brave! Did you get your drawings?"
Yuki Hoshino Parties really aren't Yuki's thing. She joined in on the wedding mostly because she'd been invited. And joined the fight because, well, evil gets blasted. But she doesn't have speeches, or songs to share (at least, none suitable for a wedding....)

So she fills a plate from the buffet, and finds a quiet corner table, not checking to see if anyone else is already seated there.
Takashi Agera     Riventon listens, on some level, to Kunzite and Jadeite. But there's more nuance to his question than it appears; partly, it's one driven by his time as Hiddenite, and by the situation here all coming to a head at about the same time. Their answers are right, surely, for them. But he's looking for something they may be unable to provide - answers for him.

"I mean, if he wasn't all of those things, I wouldn't have agreed to be surrounded by four hundred and eighty six mahou, half of whom were purifiers, to deliver a Best Man speech." he says, a not-very-subtle reminder that he is, of course, the Best Man today.

But in another sense, he's not jealous or pining for their connection with Mamoru - it's Mamoru's whole business with Destiny, all of it - his Shitennou, his reincarnation-winding romance, and the planet in the distance - it's all of those things that somewhat have Riventon deep in thought and asking such questions.

He overhears Minako's comment, and grins at her. "Oh that's cute, you think Zoi-san is trying? This is just what happens." he says, shrugging as if indicating helplessness. He did pick Zoisite as a date, once, and still maintains it was an excellent choice, and not entirely just because he made it.

But Zoisite too has connected to someone. Riventon watches for a moment before turning back to the Earth, to Jadeite, to Minako as well. Trying not to think about how he couldn't fully divulge everything to the girl HE is dating. Well, not the girl Riventon is dating. The girl Hiddenite is dating. Ah, the complexity.

"We give up a lot to keep the world save, to keep the ones we care about safe." Riventon says, clasping his hands behind his back, still looking at the planet for a moment. Not 'you give' but 'we give' and delivered in a very serious tone. "It's a really beautiful planet, especially from here, when you can see it." he notes. He's probably, oddly enough, the one least focused on the bride and groom by raw time spent.

"...Should probably grab a drink before I give the speech, though."
Makoto Kino Makoto can only make a chagrined face, full of wry good humor and affection, when ''Ami'' of all people confirms her suspicions. Just as she'd suspected, it's far too late to pretend she'd known all along. But what does it matter, when everyone's so happy?

"I'll look forward to it, then," she tells Nephrite - just before Izou completely steals the show and probably half the air in the garden.

"Suddenly," she murmurs, sotto voce, "I feel like every single one of us ''except'' Izou-kun is underdressed." She spares a slightly pitying look for Riventon and anyone else who has to perform next.
Usagi Tsukino Usagi stumbles on Entrapta - not literally - and blinks at her, before shrugging and holding out a fake pop. "Entrapta-chan! It's good to see you! D'you want a fake pop? What do you have there?"

It's not something that can blow up, so she's pretty sure it's fine?

"There's going to be speeches in a bit, and then we'll cut the cake - oh, right, I have to throw the bouquet, too, where did I leave it..."
Ikiko Hisakata There's a small yawn from the direction of the meats tables, followed by a ''*bump*'' under one of them. "Ow," comes the muffled voice of Ikiko, who apparently forgot how much clearance she had when she woke up.

There's a pause of a few seconds, then another gentle shake of the table, just enough to make the dishes clatter, followed by a hand snaking out from under the tablecloth to carefully grasp at the snacks on one of the plates and bring some food to the hidden sleepy-head.

(look, being on practically non-stop ZOOMIES level of hyperness due to ''being a'' (dilute) ''werewolf'' on the heckin' '''''moon''''' results in such side effects as major energy crashes when her part in keeping WL out of the first fight wrapped up. Who ''wouldn't'' need a nap after that?)
Jadeite And now that the new alpha couple of the sparkles has appeared, Jadeite turns and manifests a great sparkling wave of snowflakes above and around Zoisite and Kunzite; they ripple with rainbows in the domelight.

The two of them look beautiful together. THe two of them were beautiful apart, honestly - but the way they couldn't drag each other's eyes away from each other....

"Well, if anyone starts something with you today, the four of us will be finishing it," Jadeite tells Riventon as he turns back to him. "We can't have a wedding without a best man - and as much as you can be a pain in our ass, you're OUR pain. I don't know if we'll ever be on the same side again, but it'd be nice."

To, you know. Have Riventon join up with them properly. Being a sparkle might drive him up the wall, but at least Jadeite could be certain that Mamoru wouldn't have to face him in a fight like he had the Shitennou, long ago.

"It is a beautiful planet. If nothing else, I hope we can agree on the best way to protect it someday." An olive branch, and a smile. "Go get your drink. And keep an eye out for the bouquet - it should be an entertaining show when it gets thrown."
Coco Kiumi When Zoisite comes to retrieve Coco for her song, the mermaid playfully pats Rihito on his arm. "I will be back later, enjoy the song", she leaves her boyfriend with a quick kiss. Making a quick detour to retrieve Noel (because somebody else had to make her a Live Stage if she is to stay out of henshin to avoid troublesome purification).

Surrounded by the familiar sphere of light, which starts producing the soundtrack for her song of choice. Some people might already recognise Stevie Wonder's "You are the Sunshine of My Life."

"Hello, everyone, as I am sure you already know, this is also a wedding, and I was asked to sing a song in celebration of the wonderful love that has finally completed its commitment today. An applause to Zoisite, who just concluded his composition, and enjoy." With that, she bright a normal mic to her lips, and starts singing.

You are the sunshine of my life
That's why I'll always be around
You are the apple of my eye
Forever you'll stay in my heart

I feel like this is the beginning
Though I've loved you for a million years
And if I thought our love was ending
I'd find myself drowning in my own tears, whoa, oh, oh

You are the sunshine of my life, yeah
That's why I'll always stay around, mmm, mmm, yeah, yeah
You are the apple of my eye
Forever you'll stay in my heart

You must have known that I was lonely
Because you came to my rescue
And I know that this must be heaven
How could so much love be inside of you?
Whoa, whoa

You are the sunshine of my life, yeah
That's why I'll always stay around, mmm (baby)
You are the apple of my eye
Forever you'll stay in my heart, yeah

You are the sunshine of my life, baby
That's why I'll always stay around

Her song will go on a while more, until it's Wako's or Masato's turn.
Entrapta Entrapta is doing SOMETHING. She isn't actually sure herself, but it looks intense. She's got a pad of paper, and is staring at Zoisite's ass, so it might be kind of an issue that's worth interrupting her over.

"Oh!" She turns, away from the very likely faux pas, to Usagi. "Are you here too, Usagi?" she asks. Because she isn't aware that this is a wedding, or who's getting wed.

Because she didn't read the invitation, or talk to anyone, or listen to anyone, she mostly just wandered in because people were 'goin thattaway'. "I would love help with this, do you have full cake access? What's a fake pop? Am I drawing this right" She shows the dress, it's clearly a dress. Or an undress, given Zoi's outfit.

"I have to check back in with Rashmi in a moment, I almost did a moment ago but then you came and I'm glad to see you!"

Well, she's still...clearly herself. "What's a bouquet?"
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto smiles and nods in response to Rashmi's statement, "Most definitely an outcome to look forward to."

Absently, she pops one of the little fried crane snacks into her mouth and chews.

Despite the fact that her hands had been empty a moment before.

As Entrapta approaches, Pluto swallows her snack before smiling and waving at her, "Greetings, Miss Entrapta. Glad to see you're doing well."

As Usagi approaches as well, Pluto smiles and bows to the blonde, "Usagi-chan...glad to see you're doing better...and in regards to the bouquet...did you check your pocket? It's easy to keep important stuff there, after all."

And as if to punctuate, she makes a twist with her wrist and there's an usagigiri from the snack table suddenly in her hand.
Coco Kiumi Maybe she will make it in time to take part in the customary contest for the bouquet later.
Rashmi Terios "...Entrapta-chan *she's the bride,*" Rashmi laughs, because... c'mon. There's a level of unobservancy that is comical, rather than upsetting. "And *you did it,* Usa-chan! You're finally married! And *everything turned out okay!*"

This last is important, because for a while there? It really might not have.

"So congratulations and I don't *need* to catch a bouquet, so if it comes my way who would you rather I spiked it at?"

But then Coco is singing, and... Coco's songs are *always* riveting, but this is one of the very few times that Rashmi can listen with her entire head, rather than have to plan tactics around the excellent feelings that mermaid music raises in the heart. So... she is, currently, a good deal rapt.
Usagi Tsukino From anyone else, Usagi might be a little offended, but given the month she's had and the person she's talking to, she just laughs a little - not ''at'' Entrapta, though. "Yep, I'm here too, and so's Mamochan! A fake pop is this little treat Rashmi-chan and Koji-kun made, it's a chicken meatball with butter chicken gravy, and it's one bite. You like tiny food, right?"

She's been snacking every since she made her reappearance, so naturally she can be very generous now. Looking at the sketch, she hums and says, "Oh, that looks good! I'm not really uh, good at drawing, but it looks a lot like Zoisite's dress? So I think you did good! If you want to learn more about fashion, my papa knows a ton..."

Entrapta doesn't know what a bouquet is?! Wait, why is she shocked by that? Entrapta could tell her she's never touched grass and Usagi would believe her. She's deciding how to respond when Setsuna walks up, and she bounces a little in place, sheepish.

"Suna-san! Yes, I'm feeling a lot better - tired, but like, ''so'' much better than I have like, all month! And it's not there, I'm sure! I think I might have left it by the cake, actually... and right, a bouquet is a bunch of flowers all wrapped up together!"
Amy Faust     It feels like, for a moment, ''everyone's'' looking at Izou Saitou-san. Amy has some feelings about this she struggles to parse. As a guy she could never have pulled that look off. She doesn't think she could ''now''. She confides quietly to Taro, "I... feel like I just got beaten in a race I didn't even know I was running? ...I have no idea what his gender situation is. I never asked, and it seems kinda rude, ya know?"
Usagi Tsukino "It feels AMAZING, Rashmi-chan!! I'm married!" She's so happy about it too, absolutely bubbly, and then, quickly, she says, "I am throwing the bouquet directly at someone so-"

Oh, oh, there's Coco's singing, sweet and lovely and she tips her head back and smiles. There's not something she's got to do right now, right?
Nephrite Between the grand distraction of Zoisite and Kunzite-- Izou and Kazuo--and the rainbow over their romance, Nephrite slips away briefly. Coco's song winds down, and he acquires a microphone.

When he returns to the group, it is with a small clap to Riventon's shoulder, and a nod, as he hands it to him. "Speech time?"
Entrapta The fact that the person who just got wed is offering her food doesn't significantly alter Entrapta's activities. She accepts the single bite food, the first one that she's taken like a lady. To be fair, she's gotten kind of familiar with Rashmi over the last few months.

"I hope you have a statistically significant outcome to your future ..." Pause. Again, looking for the right word.

Sigh. And now Entrapta is standing there, parsing English in her head again while stuff is going on around her. I swear it's not her being rude intentionally.

Reboot. "I'd love to learn more from your ...person. And it's nice to meet you, tall lady." Setsuna? Setsuna. "I need to go draw this," she says randomly, then walks off trailing after Coco, pencil in hand. And at some point, Rashmi's plate got emptied? Damn, didn't even notice that happening.

"So many people, so many data points..."
Veronica Perenna "A few here and there, but I am planning a big heist when I am sure it won't get in the way of anyone's enjoyment, with the hosts' permission", she grins sharply. Of course, at that point it's hardly a heist.

She looks Chibiusa up and down when the matter of her no longer being a Phantom Thief is brought up. "What do you say I sew you one? I roughly remember how it was, and you can consider it my birthday gift to you."
Taro Yamada "I remember saving Christmas," Taro says, remembering getting yote face first into the snow with a wince. "Do we have to save Christmas every year? Should we put that on our calendar? Maybe not us specifically but, like, if we have easily predictable theme villains, we can use that to get the jump on them." Amy we gotta beat up the grinch. we gotta. we must.

"....Hinori may be still mad at me from when we fought last year," Taro says with a grimace. "We'll workshop it."

And then there's oohs and ahhs from the crowd, and Amy is distracted and - "I bet you could pull off a dress like that," he tells Amy. "I dunno what the gender thing is with him, but - this may be a silly question, does it matter? He's won the race he's in, and now you know there's a race you can try out for."
Zoisite Nothing else existed around them for those long few moments. Not the looks, or the comments or the shapes of tables or the color of roses that flooded this garden in bright hues. Yes, it was someone else's wedding--the union of his Prince to the Moon Princess. But this was ''his'' first time dressing up for someone that his heart sped to without any second thoughts. The first of many, many others.

It felt seamless as Kunzite approached him halfway, how the transformation back to Kazuo seemed like a breeze in a dream. His own cheek felt rather hot under, heart thumping against his chest. How foolish it was, to be in love, to set one's soul to flames.

He'd do it over and over again, for the man that took his hand and bowed to it.

"Kazuo..." For someone that always found it easy to keep his composure, this tested ''everything.'' Fingers squeezing around Kazuo's, finding that anchor again that the other provided so well. And when his boyfriend stands up, it was his turn to look. To take in who he was with. Green eyes looking over and beaming, every glint and change of expression visible on his face that showed the spellbound affection he was in.

And he picked up Kazuo's hand, pressing it against his chest. "After the speeches and the bouquet, let's dance?" Whispers.

Then, discreetly, his green gaze slides over to Sailor Venus as he at least ''did'' hear ''that'' little comment, and gives her a cheeky little wink and smirk. Yes, he was aware. But it wouldn't be Zoisite if he didn't ''try.''
Takashi Agera     Riventon nods to Nephrite, and then gets a glass of some sort of sparkling juice, drinks it, gets another glass, then heads up to the front of the collected reception and picks up a fork. First, though, he waits until the mermaid is done singing; it's rather nice when it does hurt to listen to from the purification, he has to begrudgingly admit.

It's not until the song is over that he begins, and the 'ting ting ting' of metal on glass reverberates from the front of the room to the back. Either it's at just the right frequency to carry or Riventon's cheating slightly with a little magical help, but it does have a lot of things to cut through - including the walking distraction that is Zoisite In That Dress.

"I apologize, but I do have to impose slightly, as we're not quite yet done with pomp and tradition." he says with a smile. An actual kind smile, not a smirk or a devious smile or any of what usually sit on his face. "So I request that you all peel your eyes away for just a few moments - I won't be terribly long."

"First... I'd like to begin by congratulating the two newlyweds on their truly impeccable taste; Usagi-san, in picking Mamoru-san for a husband. And Mamoru-san, in picking the Best Possible Best Man."
"But really, this wedding has been a long time in coming; more than one millenium, and you can see how happy they are, and even if I may be powered by Dark Energy, I can see it and feel that warmth."
"And speaking of Dark Energy - for those of you who don't know, unless you're very careful with it, being full of it can turn you into the worst version of yourself. And it's telling that - now that I've known both of them when they were full of it, though the Bride for only a little bit - even in those moments, their love for each other never waned. It's a truly beautiful thing. Especially given that I'm sure several... dozen... people had misgivings about my presence here, I am grateful they both allowed me to witness this special day."
"...Well, I suppose Usagi-san had less choice in the matter, but still. She could have blasted me - would have made this speech a lot harder from behind a barrier."
"And you can see the impacts they've made on so many people's lives by how many of you are here - and by how many of you combined your efforts to make this day happen. The food, the music, the venue and the good company. Especially given the complications it involved. From the food, to the mahou-blasting, the effort everyone put in shows how truly treasured the bride and groom are, and it takes two especially great people to cause such an upwelling of dedication."
"As for me, I've known Mamoru-san from long before our time in Obsidian. When I had nothing and nobody, I had Mamoru-san. There's a reason I call him my brother. It's a title he earned, and deserved, with so much backup. As I'm sure you all here can imagine, I was a bit of a troublemaker at times, and there was just a few times my mouth would write checks I couldn't cash before I could harness my magic. And in those moments, he was there for me; I'll never forget that. We joined Obsidian together, and even there - in that backstabbing culture of pushing others down to stand on them - we always kept an eye on each other."
"Now, our paths have diverged, but I'll always be grateful for the time when we leaned on each other and propped each other up. And now I hope he and Usagi-san can prop each other up as well, and carry on. But given what they've already endured to get to this day, I have no doubt they will have a long and happy life together..."
"Provided, of course, they stay out of my way." Riventon says with a wink, a chuckle to indicate he's not being actually hostile, not today - though there is a moment of a glance to the two of them, because he knows deep down they won't be doing that and not all days will be as happy as this one.
"And now, everyone, please join me in raising a glass of your drink of choice to a lifetime - or two - of happiness for the newlyweds, Usagi and Mamoru!"
Minako Aino Sailor Venus takes a deep breath as Riventon sends a jibe her way about Izou trying to upstage the bride. Her eyebrows raise just a bit at him as she mentally marks him off her mental 'potential flirt' list. She didn't know him well enough to be sending jibes in a friendly manner!

Besides that, she caught that wink from Izou which causes her to grin in spite of the words she had uttered. She just stands, and watches the pair greet one another with (JADEITE YOU AREN'T HELPING) snow glittering around them so prettily. Some small part of her aches at seeing them together--But it was more the wish that some day she might be in a similar position.

It's the same sort of happy-for-them ache she felt when she looks toward Usagi and Mamoru, now finally married.
he speech comes from Riventon and drinks are mentioned. Without thinking much more of it she turns to snag a couple flutes of (definitely not wine) to offer one to Ami while she keeps one for herself. Hah.

And she listens. And listens. And listens.

And sloowly leans her head to the side to murmer to Ami, "Ah, *he's* the evil brother, right? Monologuing."
Entrapta While people are turned, watching Riventon? Entrapta is looking into a lamp. She may or may not get her head stuck. Leaning more toward yes. To be fair, she's never seen that kind of lamp before.
Sailor Mercury Ami turned when Riventon began speaking, her attention fixed there for a while. But, given the subject, it wasn't long before she found her gaze drifting back to Mamoru.

And Usagi.

Of course, Ami was smiling at her. Her Princess, her home. It was everything to have her--truly ''her''--back. To see ''her'' happy.

Glassy eyed, Ami bit at her lip and before Venus caught her attention again. Ami nodded in agreement with a muffled 'mhm' before she glanced down at her hands.

She had Sailor Venus in one hand and a half-eaten plate of food in the other.

"Oh dear." She muttered, mostly to herself. "I don't have a drink."
Amy Faust     (Should we put that on our calendar? "Yeah probably.")

(The Grinch won't stand a chance!)

(And Coco's singing ''is'' so sweet and lovely and in this quiet moment when they're ''not'' fighting, Amy kind of wishes she could sing like that.)

You could pull off that dress. "Really?" she squeaks, with a smile creeping onto her face. Taro's words of wisdom at least help establish a sort of scope to her confusion. Does it matter? "I don't know." There's a race you can try out for. "I don't know if I want to?" her voice squeaks a bit again.

And then she smiles for a different reason, just seeing the cute couple together. Aww!

And then Riventon commands the attention for a speech. She rolls her eyes at what she ''hopes'' is a little joke at the start. But then it becomes a truly heartfelt speech and she listens attentively, and she's smiling by partway through it.

Please join me in raising a glass of your drink of choice...for the newlyweds, Usagi and Mamoru!

Amy pours a glass of sparkling juice (and for Taro as well if he doesn't have one) of whatever there's a bottle of nearest and then raises her glass. '''''"Yeah!"''''' she cheers!

"Oh, oops--" she mutters, as she realizes she raised it just slow enough to not slosh the drink out of her glass in ''Earth'' gravity, but she's not ''on'' Earth she's on the ''moon''. At least it's like, half or so g rather than one-sixth so she doesn't just send it ''flying'' across the room!
Makoto Kino "I've got you, Ami-chan."

While Nephrite was handing off the microphone to Riventon, Makoto was not standing idle. She holds up a hand with two glasses balanced neatly between her fingers, and extends the other in an offer to take Ami's plate. "Trade you, long enough for a toast?"

Once drinks are suitably distributed in one manner or another, Makoto lifts the glass she's kept for herself - and chimes the rim against Ami and/or Minako's, if either of her fellow senshi are so inclined. "Kanpai!" she calls out brightly.
Rashmi Terios "Kanpai!" Rashmi echoes, raising her own glass of sparkling fruity fizzywhatever. And for the moment, will just be pleasantly surprised that Riventon managed to only make it *a little* about him, but at least the 'good taste' remark was funny.

Though now she is kinda worried about what Usagi will be doing with that bouquet.
Setsuna Meiou Sailor Pluto is very glad all the drinks here are non-alcoholic.

Not least reason being because she can only IMAGINE the chaos that would come from several dozen drunk-off-their asses mahoujin rocking into Tokyo and the level of sheer, unadulterated CHAOS they could collectively cause.

Given past events, she'd likely even be right at the head of that number.

Still, the speech comes from Riventon, and Pluto smirks a bit and rolls her eyes before raising her glass at the proper time, and amongst the chorus of 'Cheers', 'Kampai' and variations thereof, she states, "Amor eorum perduret donec tempus ipsum omnem significationem desinat habere."
Taro Yamada "You really could," Taro says intently. "And we'll table the race for now, figure out dresses when we get back," Taro decides. "It can't hurt for us to play around with it later, right? Which means we don't have to worry about it now." So they can enjoy the wedding! And so Amy doesn't feel stressed trying to deal with the new gender puzzle that's rolled into the enclosure.

She gives him a glass of sparkling juice - "Thank you!" - and after the speech, which has Taro tearing up again with it's sincerity and goodwill, they cheers!

And the moon gravity means he gets a faceful of Amy's juice. He sputters, then starts laughing and splashes her back with a tiny amount of his own drink.
Mamoru Chiba Oh, Mamoru is already getting misty again at Coco's song; he remembers how much he used to get a headache from the purification of her henshin songs when he was Hematite, and how comforting and strengthening they are now that he's not a Dark Energy user, and now he gets to enjoy just Coco's voice, pure and crystal clear, smooth like glass.

He's actually openly crying by the time Riventon's done with his speech, despite the warning at the end. Mamoru brushes a hand against Usagi's again, just another vibe check and joyous little heart-flip, before he jogs up the step and over to crash into Riventon with an enormous hug.

"Even if," Mamoru whispers, "the worst happens, you'll ''always'' be my first friend, and I'll ''always'' love you, brother."

SNIFFFF-laugh as the prince pulls away, and he briefly has a hand on Riventon's shoulder, and he just looks at him like he's memorizing his face on this day. Then he laughs again and swipes the microphone, arm around Riventon's back as he swings back around to face everyone.

"I know I'm off-schedule, sorry Neph, but I just wanted to thank all of you, so much, SO MUCH, for everything that it took to make this day happen, and to thank you for saving my wife and future daughter, and for all the millions of parts people played in the journey that was this incredibly long day at the end of an incredibly long couple of months. I'm so happy. I'm ''so'' happy. I didn't think I could be as happy as I've been today, ever. So uh, again thank you everyone."

Then he hands the microphone back sheepishly, and rubs his eyes on his sleeve, and drifts back over to Usagi. On his way, he murmurs to Makoto, "Did Koji give you the bottle for us? If not that's a-ok."
Veronica Perenna "Why, did we have something happen this year too?", the cat thief's ears perks up when she ears Taro mention dangers to Christmas. She was around for the first trip to the North Pole, but she wasn't aware it had occurred again a second time.

The North Pole might be a lot more chaotic than she thought, if it managed to have looming troubles two years in a row.

She also picks up on the notion of a bouquet, and she wonders, provided it's one of the two of them, who would catch it first between her and Mou Fubuki? Either way, they would bring it back, so they would both win.

But her thoughts get distracted by the chime of fork against glass, and her eyes turn to the speech of the best man, who has stepped up in a moment of silence to make a speech to the newlyweds.

Her lips curve into a smile at the jokes Riventon has spread throughout his speech (those ''are'' jokes, right?)

At the very least he is self-aware, given the cautionary speech on dark energy, which she has had the displeasure to experience both on her skin and not, though at least it wasn't to New Moon and Wicked Lady levels. Though she may be known for her curiosity, she is in no hurry to find out what would become of her then.

She finds herself moved when caution turns to fondness, brotherhood, and acknowledgement of the reaches of Usagi and Mamoru's love, and she doesn't have to be told twice when the moment for cheers come, raising a glass towards their direction.
Nephrite Even the Best Man joke cannot crack him, because it is true-- Mamoru has picked the Best of Best men, now, twice in a row. (Himself, next time, of course.)

Somewhere in the midst of things, Nephrite has shed his henshin. He stands now in a finely tailored black suit with red patterned lapels and matching waistcoat beneath. Gold chain and gold set ruby studs adorn his ears, matching cufflinks, gold tie pin with a lion head, and polished leather shoes. Long wavy hair gently settled about shoulders, and he is sleek and expensive and modern Masato.

Free hand pocketed, a very nice watch flashed when he lifts his own flute to Mamoru, forgiving of everything-- it's Mamoru's wedding. What does a schedule matter?-- and he cannot help but smile at Riventon as well.

Inexplicably, he is grateful the man is here.
Sailor Mercury "Thank you, Makoto-san!" There was a palpable and relieved gratitude, to which Ami responded with the awaited ''clink''. She, too, joined the toast.
Kazuo Saitou This is not the first time Kazuo has seen Izou dressed up. It's just that the first time was that date with Riventon. The second time was ... complicated.

This time he's ''allowed'' to pay attention.

This time he doesn't want to do anything but.

It isn't till Izou winks at Venus that Kazuo remembers that he is also allowed to breathe. His free hand comes up to Izou's shoulder as a silent 'yes' to that whispered suggestion; he turns a little and, if Izou accepts direction, guides them to where Izou can select a drink to see him through the pause for Riventon's speech, and the toast. Technically he should have offered to fetch one. But that would have required two things both of which are not actually possible for him at this moment: stepping away from Izou, and remembering how to use language.

By the time the toast is finished, Kazuo's reclaimed at least a little functionality. "This is very unfair of you, you know," he murmurs to Izou, and his mouth is turned up just a little at the corner, and with Zoisite's hair so close his eyes are the warmest silver possible. "I ''already'' thought you were beautiful. What words can I possibly use to describe you like this?"

Perhaps Coco's song is having some lingering effect. She was singing that first time, too. 'If you believe in yourself more, you should surely be able to change your future.'

Well. They have.
Minako Aino Sailor Venus does raise her glass in a toast to the happy couple as well. When Mamoru gets up to practically tackle Riventon she can't help but smile. Even if she was so far not impressed with the guy she could see he was close to him.

"This has been pretty wonderful. Aside from the fighting, but that was necessary."

A glance to the side allows her to look off to the fringes of the reception a long moment with worry creasing her brow. Still, there was no sign of anything else going on. Maybe she could relax too for awhile.

Her henshin slips away leaving her in an orange gown of her own. It's simple in comparison to some of the OTHERS here, but it was suitable for her, and she had a large yellow gem penant with it. Raising her glass she adds, "To the happy couple! Congratulations!"
Usagi Tsukino Riventon's speech is touching, in all the best ways, and Usagi's eyes are definitely watering by the time it's done, tears dabbed away with the sleeve of her yukata. She smiles, so warm and lovey at Mamoru, when they briefly touch, and then she drags him forward to the cake table. On the way, she hugs Riventon, tight, before he can ''hope'' to escape -

"Thank you," she whispers, "For the speech, and for coming, and being his brother, you know?"

She had indeed forgotten her bouquet of stunning, lovingly grown flowers, some of them twinkling with light, next to the great pink Chibiusa's birthday cake, and next to the great big ''Wedding'' cake, that looks so much like the Silver Crystal.

It's beautiful, but she whispers to Mamoru, "We should have asked Mako-chan to make a third one, that was the orgel shaped, just for you. She wouldn't have killed us too bad."

It's such a ''good'' thing that Makoto isn't in a position to hear her. She definitely would have been killed pretty bad.

Turning to everyone, she takes the microphone from Mamoru, lifts the wedding bouquet, and calls, "Everyone, thank you so much for coming to our wedding! And for fighting ''us'', so I could even have a wedding. We couldn't have done any of this without you all! This bouquet was - was a ''gift'', lovingly made, that I never even imagined. I know it's traditional to throw it, but, I don't really want a stampede - and besides, there's only one person I think it should be returned to."

And so she squeezes Mamoru's hand, once, and then, walks across the floor, bouquet gently held in her hands, and offers it to Izou directly, from her hands to his.
Amy Faust     (Did something happen this year too? "Yeah." Amy doesn't get to elaborate yet though.)

(We can figure it out later, right? Amy nods, not entirely certainly.)

She splashed Taro! "Ohmygosh I'm so sorry!" She holds out a conjured handkerchief and tries to dab up any dripping down his neck. "Your yukat--" Splish! Right in her face. She looks ''so confused'' for a second and then bursts out laughing! "Oh you!" She carefully clinks their glasses together, and then conjures a handkerchief to dab at her own face. Her magic seems to accept it as a valid accessory to clothing, at least.

She smiles at seeing Mamoru so moved by the speech, too.

Oh right, Veronica's here too! "V--" oh right Riventon is ''right there'', "--Sarek! How have you been? Crazy day, huh?"

Oh wait it's bouquet time. Amy is suddenly... completely confused as to whether she should try to catch it or not like there are implications upon implications but also oh thank goodness they're not doing that. She sets her glass on the bnearest table and claps again!

And then Amy looks between the two friends she's next to. "D'you think we'll ever be up there?" She gestures towards the altar. Then smiles awkwardly, "Seperately, I mean. Meet any nice guys these past few months, Taro?"
Entrapta Entrapta returns, looking at Rashmi as she reacts to the ongoing sitituation. Yes that can be a word. She has an actual lampshade in one hand, not sure where she got that, but yet.

"I'm getting so many good notes tonight," she whispers, leaning close to let her sempai know that there will totally be a data tree set up for this event, and public access if she can post the videos.

Wait, is she the wedding photographer? By...accident? "I'm recording everything, but there's a lot going on and I wanted to study it from a sociopolitical angle..."

I mean, maybe? If you don't mind there being critical aspects to the footage that is posted to peer review sites. That cater to magical forums...nevermind.
Jadeite Jadeite raises his glass in a toast as well, misty-eyed at the toast. Even if Riventon is dragging his feet on rejoining Mamoru and not being a twerp, they were still brothers. They were all here for the same reason, the same people: the same love. "Cheers!!"

And as Usagi gives the bouquet to the only person in the room it could go to, the one who deserves it, Jadeite whoops and cheers even more.
Makoto Kino Toasts are exchanged, the happy couple cheered. Makoto is, mainly, holding onto Ami's plate for her for the moment, but Mamoru's murmured question gets a singularly blank look in response. "Bottle?" she whispers back.

Clearly, she doesn't have the first clue what he's talking about.

There's not much to be done about it, one way or the other. She watches as Mamoru rejoins Usagi and passes off the microphone, as Usagi places the bouquet in Izou's hands. Makoto can't help but smile, seeing that. Unexpected, but it really does seem fitting.
Nephrite A small chuckle leaves Masato, and with a small diverting, he produces quite possibly the only bottle of actual alcohol in the venue from where it was hidden. Because, of course, who else better to guard it, so lovingly provided by Koji's parents?

He winks at Mamoru.
Mamoru Chiba Mamoru blinks at Mako, looking faintly alarmed and faintly disappointed, but not brokenhearted -- and then Neph comes in clutch with the champagne, and Mamoru gives him a double thumbs up. "We'll probably save it until we're actually home," he says with a laugh, "I just wanted to make sure nobody ''else'' found it."

He watches Entrapta for a second, distracted, glances to make sure Rashmi is watching Entrapta, and then when Usagi's done giving the bouquet to Zoisite, he tugs her over to cut the cake with him -- just where Makoto's willing to tell them to cut, since she made it she would know best.

He gives Neph an 'ok' sign -- like, you can definitely announce dancing now.
Zoisite Speeches and toast, mind still flowing in and between where they were and the world wanting to fade away. It was hard. But he could could hear Mamoru sputtering a bit in after Riveton, bringing a smile to Izou's face, before Kazuo's voice followed. Near, and clear.

He turns his head over to his boyfriend, looking for words to describe merely what he ''felt,'' let alone the weight so much of Kazuo's words carried. "...When I lack a voice, I usually find it in music. Or just action, touch. I already lost words being around you sometimes, and all I can do is hold you, or kiss you." Quiet confession. "You could do that. Just you next to me is all I need to ''know."''

This is when Usagi speaks, a speech of her own, thanking the efforts put forth towards such an event. Battle and wedding sewn together. And like Small Lady's words about the small bouquet he gave to the royal flower girl, the Princess' own had him look and smile, quietly thankful for that recognition.

What would come next was the damn fight for the thing. He hoped the bouquet was reinforced enough for the brutality that would ensue, as he was ''about'' to take off his damn shoes to be in the middle of the stampede. Instead, Usagi crossed the threshold of where she stood next to Mamoru, and where Izou stood next to Kazuo.

Bouquet, from her hands, to his.

The surprise in his face was visible, and that flame within almost felt disappointed in the chaos having been nipped in the bud. But damn be the vulnerability he felt after everything that has occurred to this point. Where he from a few weeks ago would snap with poison and cold comments at the idea of being grateful to the Moon Princess... He held that bouquet close to his chest, his own eyes turning slightly glassy but holding those damned tears back.

Like hell he was going to have running mascara.

"Thank you, Usagi-chan."

And like that, most of the poison he held drained away with a smile.
Emi Hoshino In what was likely a surprise to no one, Emi slept through a ... lot of things. Some of the ... louder things, after she was brought to the moon. It's unlikely she could have contributed meaningfully some of those things. After all, she didn't bring her bat with her, and she wasn't exactly filled in on all the details to begin with.

'Get in loser, we're going to a wedding on the moon'. She didn't really need to guess what -that- was about.

Afterwards, however, she took a nap in all her flowing gothic garb. She'd just found a place to sit down, close her eyes, and snooze. And since then, she'd been exploring an all new-to-her dreamscape. Easy a thing to get lost in, and she definitely got lost. Lost track of time, until someone came and got her for the actual wedding proper.

And now she's here. She's been sitting quietly amongst the crowd feeling *incredibly* out of place, even if she maintains a very carefully cultivated mien of 'I'm just so cool'.

It works. Partially.
Nephrite Cake-cutting and flowers exhanged with meaning, and there is of course a pause for congratulations and clapping. Happy moments, hard won.

With a short spin of the microphone in his hand, Masato is now upon the dais, "It bears saying again, thank you to everyone for being here and for joining the Bride and Groom, with their family and friends, here on this most special of days. All of you have made it so, and now? For those unfamiliar, in the West, it is customary to have dancing."

A gesture is made towards the large checker-board courtyard, railed off by white marble, "Now we'd like to open up the floor for the other happy lovers in our midst, and to all our friends after. The buffet is still open and cake is being served, for those who have two left feet! Wako and myself have a duet prepared for you as well, but there will be karaoke later for those who want to lend their voices to the celebration."
Sailor Mercury Sapphires followed Usagi as she made way to Izou with the bouquet. The return of flowers to the man, beautifully dressed himself, who had cultivated them was a very fitting one. Ami smiled.

And then remembered something.

Ami's drink--what remained of it post-toast--was set aside so that she could relieve Makoto of her plate. The blue-haired senshi grimaced a little sheepishly with a faint, grateful dip of her head.

"Sorry, Makoto-san!"
Kazuo Saitou And Kazuo takes Izou's advice - shifts stance to slide behind Izou, taking utmost care of that glittering spine as he settles arms around Izou from there, one hand folding over the ones holding the bouquet. It gives him a chance to give Usagi a smile, too.

And puts him in a position to ask Izou a few moments later, when things are a little less fraught, "That's something I never considered. How does one dance while ''also'' holding a bouquet?"

His voice holds the shadow of a laugh that he is very, very carefully not letting out.
Rashmi Terios As if by teleportation, when Masato sends out the call to open the dance floor...

Rashmi is at Chrono's side. She says nothing; it's been rare that the two have ever *needed* to say much to each other when it comes to communicating wants, lately. But they have never attended a dance that was not a serious milestone for them, and *Usagi-chan's wedding ON THE MOON* will probably be yet another. So now, as always, she simply stands by his side, sure in the belief that Chrono will support her as she supports him.
Makoto Kino "You're fine!" Makoto assures Ami, laughing a little, as she hands back the plate. She sets her own glass down as well, excusing herself to head over to Mamoru and Usagi at least long enough to advise on the best first cut of the wedding cake.

Not that it's really all that necessary. The flower design of the cake means the ideal first slice can be achieved by cutting the point off one of the 'petals' of the lower, larger tier of the cake.

With this, finally, Makoto truly feels like she can breathe easy. All responsibilities discharged, nothing left to do but actually enjoy herself.

She takes the opportunity to sneak up alongside Masato. "I hope at some point you'll get a break from saving the day long enough to dance," she says teasingly, with just enough of an upward inflection to make it a question.
Taro Yamada Soon enough, Taro and Amy have the spilled juice mopped up and are giggling together, enjoying the speech, enjoying the bouquet toss which ends up more of a bouquet handover, and the dancing begins.

"Honestly, when I was a little kid, I didn't think far enough ahead to wonder about getting married. And then there was the magic stuff, and it got complicated. You know how it goes," he tells Amy. "...and does it count as meeting a cute guy if I saw him for five minutes? Do you remember that hot guy that showed up when Chiyo's friend got kidnapped...?"

l. look. he's realized he has a type. shut up.
Nephrite Masato hops down from the dais and sets the microphone aside, and with a slight swagger, he preens his suit at Makoto. "Who me? The man with the gorgeous woman waiting on me to dance with her?" He smirks, moving to snake an arm around her waist. "That's my top priority. I'll be singing when you're done with me."

A fast peck at her hairline, and he'd be shifting, turning them towards the courtyard with the others.
Chrono Harlaown Chrono Harlaown had, for the most part, kept a low profile throughout the event. When the fight had started, he'd focused more on stemming the tide, delaying, trapping, running interference and, frankly, being more of a hastle for anything causing problems, than actually destroying or stopping things.

He didn't purify, his job was to delay. He'd even applauded during Riventon's speech. For him, it was rather touching and his heart had obviously been in it. He'd been quite serious throughout, calm, careful...

However... As the call for the dance came up, he glanced up. Should he--

Ah, there she was. A small, affectionate smile formed on his lips as she seemed to almost materialize at his side. Lower gravity, an orbital body... well... He slowly held out his hand to her. When last he'd had the pleasure of taking her hand in such a manner, he'd been quite a bit shorter than her... and now?

Now he stood... actually a little taller than her. And in full TSAB dress uniform, no less, he managed to make quite the dashing figure this time...

He hadn't had to even borrow anything from his roommate. And he'd take her hand in his own gloved hand, and bring it to his lips, bending forward to place the softest kiss upon the back of her hand. "If I may have your first dance of the evening, Madam Terios? And as many others as I can steal from you before we set?" Well, they WERE on the moon.

And, with her permission, he would then guide her, affectionately, out onto the dance floor, his hand under her own, palm up, thumb the only thing holding it, soft, with just a hint of pressure so she could pull free if she desired, but otherwise it was firm and trapped.
Ikiko Hisakata Ikiko climbs out from under the table she had been under, still somewhat bleary-eyed but with her hair looking at least halfway brushed.

(so ''that's'' what she had been doing after acquiring boot-up snacks!)

She smiles towards those who are dancing, then spends the song perusing the various tiny foods, slowly munching her way towards the dessert table. Rest and Relaxation have been acquired in sufficient amounts to take the edge off of the hyperzoomie-crash, but the third R of the recovery triangle -- Refueling -- '''definitely''' needs to be addressed.

(at least the initial munch kept her stomach from making a ''vocal'' protest!)
Zoisite Izou could almost feel the small hints of mirth as his own lips curved upwards, eyes wrinkling oh so slightly in happiness as he continued to hold the bouquet in his hands. Back of his head leaning carefully on Kazuo's shoulder.

"Good question to ask." Among others that were just as good. Some perhaps more important. But they could wait on some of those.

Carefully he slid one of the shining baby's breath from the bouquet and turned around to place the flora neatly in Kazuo's front pocket.

"Maybe a good time to find out how it's done, yeah?" Looks up at Kazuo.
Mamoru Chiba This time in a quiet moment between people talking with them, instead of just brushing her hand with his, Mamoru leans to kiss Usagi's cheek. "We have all the time in the world, my beautiful bride," he murmurs, bent so she can hear him, "this tired groom is going to hide in a corner with the introverts a little while and see if they want cake.

And then he brings cake over for Emi and himself and invites himself to her table by sitting at it. "Thank you for coming," he says, and his eyes twinkle, "how's the Dreamscape here? Is it pretty or horrible? I hope it got a little prettier with today."
Rashmi Terios ...If Rashmi had not already accepted her marriage to Chrono as inevitable enough to be inscribed on the Gates of Time before? That line *guaranteed* the Terios-Harlaown line, winding forward unto infinity.

"Chrono, dear," she manages, voice just a bit breathless, "You can have *all the dances you want.*"

And she is barely touching the ground -- even on the Moon, gravity still makes an impassioned argument -- but she only diverts their course toward the dance floor just a bit, to path them alongside Kazuo and Zoisite, and *then* just long enough to grin at the two. "Zoi-san, your dress looks *amazing* on you. Even if you already knew that."

And with a grin and a wink, she is off to have her *dance on the moon* with Chrono, for as long as the two of them can physically keep up.

"...At least this time?" she murmurs into his ear as they begin. "Neither of us is likely to need to catch the other."
Kazuo Saitou "The perfect time," Kazuo agrees, and disengages just enough to offer his arm and escort Izou properly toward the dance floor. Where they're ''allowed'' to forget anyone else exists, for a while.

Socially, anyway. Once again, the 'not running into people or things' idea exerts its precedence.
Amy Faust     Amy nods at not thinking far ahead, and magic stuff. And... which person showed up then that might count as a cute guy? Uhhhhhh... "I guess not, ''but'', it does mean you're figuring out what kind of guy you're into! I'll drink to that!" She picks up her glass again and takes a long sip of fizzy juice.

Dancing is starting and she has no one to dance with. Amy stands with her back to the table, watching, and makes conversation as she tries not to think of Hannah and how the time would fly (and the Amy, no doubt, if Hannah tossed her in the air again in this gravity!)

"When I was a kid I didn't think about it. When I was a teen I resigned myself to being surrounded by idiots and thought I'd meet a geeky girl who understood me in college. And that didn't happen, and eventually I figured I'd be alone forever."

    Sip.

"I couldn't picture a relationship, anyway. I just. Settling down and starting a family is what society expects. And the kinda nice, smart, cute girl I thought I wanted--" but wherever that sentence was going is derailed as words go through her head:

''...Did you want to ''be'' this woman?''

Her eyes briefly widen in realization. "F---. That's what I... is that what I turned out to ''be???''" She looks at the reflection in her glass. "Maybe... what I wanted to-- what I shoulda ''been'' but didn't know it?"

She lowers the glass. "...Except for the 'better at social skills than me' part, I guess. I think I still want that. I sure need the help."

She shakes her head. "Do I even have a type? Or do I just fall for anyone who makes me feel special? Who treats me like I'm worth something?" Another headshake. "No, there's another factor or I'd be falling for ''all'' of my friends now. My point is,"

She transfers the glass to her off-hand so she can point at Taaro as she looks up at him. "Figuring out what kinda guy you like is a start! That's something."
Veronica Perenna With Amy's quick answer to her Christmas question, Veronica would like to know more, but then she picks up on what lovely time the redhead and Taro are having that she decides to make a tactical retreat, bringing with herself quite a few specimen of tinyfoods and selections of beverages, and then going to look for her beloved.

She must be somewhere around here, probably either caught in amiable conversation with someone else, or dedicated to refreshing her palate herself, or maybe bringing out the wonder of her ice creations once more.
Chrono Harlaown Chrono Harlaown gave a light nod to the shittenou as they passed. It wasn't that they weren't gorgeous... they were. Of course they were. Everyone on this planet was, almost everyone took his breath away, it was honestly a bit wild at times to imagine such a place could exist. But for the moment?

He only had eyes for Rashmi.

They'd managed to, once again, create a miracle. Save the kid, her mother, fix things, as they always did. Things had been touch and go for a bit, but now? They were once again settled... And there were still things to do. People to save. His eyes glanced over Norie and Riventon for a moment. Even those who may not realize it.

But, for tonight? It was peaceful. And he focused on Rashmi alone. His thumb moved off her hand, as he let it go, while the other arm moved around her waist, puling her in slightly, while the other hand moved out to grip hers...

And then, slowly, he moved with her, gently, slow, step, step, moving, careful of other dancers...

Oh ho... he'd been practicing. Had... he been studying? He was certainly better than he'd been last time they'd danced.

... Had he been practicing between their sparring sessions and everything else?

... Waaaaaait a minute. Was THIS what his occasional visits with his mother and Aloisia had been about?!

... Oh god how much must he have loved her if he subjected himself to learning from his mother just so he could surprise her with this? But he was very, very smooth as they glided across the dance floor now, the lower gravity helping quite a bit...

"You were quite brilliant today, Rashmi. There is no enforcer I would rather have by my side... Ship detected indeed..." he whispered to her.
Nephrite The song that plays out is a pre-recorded one, and the voice is familiar. It appears that Masato has arranged a song ahead of time, freeing himself up to dance to it with Makoto-- and the other lovers currently on the dance floor. It is a well known song in Japan, a classic, and so it's slightly old fashioned as a choice. But, it is undeniably his voice, and his own sentiment, that wash out as people dance.

Like a dream, passing day after day,
Down this long narrow road I've been walking down,
If I turn, looking back, I can see far away
The old town that I loved long ago.

Roads that wind and twist in every way,
Bumpy roads that have seen too many days,
With no map to guide us, every path we cross in our lives.

Just like the waters of a river, countless bygone days,
one by one how gently, how slowly they go,
unendingly, into the sky painted colours of the evening flow.

In our journeys and lives, though they start and end,
Still the road never stops, on forever,
As we reach toward the dream, making memories and friends,
We draw near the people we love.

As the rain beats down upon our heads,
And the mud covers the road ahead,
On we walk because soon, a bright new day will come again.
Takashi Agera     Toast out of the way, Riventon takes a small cake and a plate and steps away from the crowd, leaning against a wall and looking back at it. Back at the Earth. Sure, the Moon was nice, but it was... not home. Not his home.

He put a bit of cake in his mouth. Though home could at least partially also be the Dusk Zone. Still.

He looked back as many people paired off to dance with partners. Riventon had no such partner. He could have danced with Norie, but it wouldn't have been romantic, almost like a sibling at that point.

The cake really was good, even if the ingredients from horselandia gave it a kind of spicy burn to him in the back of his spirit. He wondered if he'd be able to pull off dancing well with Sharpsong. But who was he kidding, he hadn't even been able to tell her his full identity.

Maybe he should have, or should do. What was the worst that could happen - the sparkles had tolerated him for this event, but maybe that was just because of Mamoru. Then he paused. Right. Mamoru hadn't told Usagi. That was the worst that could happen. He finished the rest of his cake.

The Earth, the Moon, the Golden Kingdom, the Silver Millenium... he twirled the fork in his fingers. He'd need to come up with a name for his turn, for the world under his control. His would be better, safer, so it needed a better name - that much could only make rightful sense.
Sailor Saturn Eventually, there was a little tap on Riventon's back and... OH GOD IT WAS THE SAT SAT! Wait, no. Sailor Saturn. And she was grinning up at him. "Hey, sempai," she said, smiling up at him.

He wasn't having fun, and... she knew why. Well, she could guess why. He felt... he didn't belong. And she could understand why. He wasn't there, yet. But.... she'd been there, once. Two years ago. She'd been there. Two years ago, she'd been a small, lonely girl sitting outside a lab, nobody would listen to her, nobody would help her. They just pushed her aside. Told her she misunderstood, to stop causing problems... And only one person had actually listened to her. And today? She was here. Alive. Well. And so was Luminous Titan. Sure, not... really a full 'device' anymore. But he was here. And he was a large chunk of that, in her mind.

"Dance with me?" she asked, holding out her hand to him. Well, she didn't have a partner either. Besides... she'd never been able to dance at a wedding before. Or go to a wedding before.
Sailor Mercury With the others off to the dance floor from around her, Ami was now stood to quietly munch at usagiri as she watched the parade of lovers. She couldn't help but be drawn to watch Masato and Makoto, smile ever-present. Of all of them--well, aside from Mamoru and Usagi, of course--she was most happy for them.

One was her fellow senshi, long-beloved friend, and the other a man who had very much become a brother. They were precious together. Izou and Kazuo were there, too. Neither of which she new terribly well, but they were certainly a remarkable pair.

And, of course, her eyes finally drifted to the last of the Shitennou--Jadeite. Ami had a smile for him, too. It wasn't that the senshi were one for dwelling on a distant past from another life, but even she couldn't help but feel that something was being made ''right''.

Then, wordlessly, she returned attention to the dance floor.

And popped the last of her usagiri into her mouth.
Taro Yamada "It's like that saying, guys want her, girls want to be her?" Taro muses. "Is that a thing?" He's pretty sure that's a thing for some people.

"...if I fell for people who were nice to me, things would be a lot different. If I had better social skills, things'd be different. It feels like the more I figure out about myself, the more I've got left to work out. But..."

He clinks his glass against hers again, then gestures at the dance floor. "Want to go dance? I'm not very good at it, so you'll have me beat skillwise, and we can brag that we've danced on the moon after this."
Takashi Agera     Riventon turned from his earth-gazing (and navel-gazing) to regard the smallest Senshi. Well, now she was the second smallest senshi, he supposed. His eyes regarded her and he looked, for just a moment... He looked ''tired'' rather than anything else. It was there for just a flicker of a moment.

Then it was gone and he brightened a bit. "Ah, there's got to be better dance partners out there for you to go with than me. Dancing is more art than science, I'm great at the latter but not so much the former." he said.

"Besides, you really want to tarnish your Senshi rep so early by dancing with a bad guy? Plus there's the height thing." he adds.

But in truth, he knew Hotaru well enough that on some level he'd accepted the fait accompli the moment she'd ask, sort of like being hugged by Usagi and Mamoru before. He was already moving to step away from the wall. And he pauses and looks at her again, really really REALLY looks at her. "It... it's really good to see you healthy, Ho- Sailor Saturn." he says with a smile.
Emi Hoshino And then there's the groom, coming over to talk to her. The groom who just got married.
On the moon.
On the moon, where she is presently.

It should be no surprise that Emi feels a bit out of sorts and out of place here. She knows she's hardly alone in that and given this crowd the experience is likely universal to some extent or another. With her eyes downcast, Emi's long bangs at least half-shroud her face.

"I'm sure many happy dreams will be born this day, and that it will reverberate and shine down upon earth, in due time."

There's a smile. Emi has never been much of a smiler but she's smiling now. It doesn't quite reach her eyes, as it goes. "You knew I wouldn't be able to resist having a peek. It was ... unique. Like being able to step into a faded photograph and see it in full color for just a moment in time. Triump, tragedy, terror -- all there." She doesn't seem to want to go into detail, too much, given the magnitude of the joyous occasion.
Amy Faust     Rashmi and Chrono dance to the slow song and they look so happy, and right. Which brings a smile to Amy's face...

Is that a thing? Amy shrugs to Taro. "I have ''no'' idea. I was never really a guy. We'd have to find one who likes girls and compare notes."

The more he figures out, the more he has to work out. Amy gives a sharp chuckle. "Mood!" She swaps her glass to her right hand and raises it to clink against his (slowly, without splashing). "Maybe that's what being a teenager -- ''properly'' getting to be one -- is? I wonder if they're all feeling the same way and just never say. Say it ''that'' way, anyway. Or maybe we're just oblivious. 'Sukeban'." She smiles good-naturedly at the callback.

Her eyebrows go up at the offer, and then she smiles, and finishes her drink, and sets the glass down on the table. "Sounds good to me! I don't really know what I'm doing, but... we'll figure it out."

As she walks out onto the floor with him, she muses, "Maybe there's no wrong way to dance on the Moon, anyway."
Sailor Saturn Sailor Saturn gave a small smile up at him and then shrugged. "Meh. Most everyone knows who I am, anyway. On both sides, considering... well... how it came out," she said, giving his hand a squeeze. "And if people want to object to me dancing with the person who helped me get here, then they really don't know me that well. You'll always be my senpai, I've never stopped believing in you," she said, giving his hand a soft squeeze.

"Even if I do sparkle now. Besides, you'll never be the bad guy to me... you'll, at worst, be like... the anti-hero. I've met too many bad guys to actually lump you in with them," she said.

"It... it's really good to be healthy. I... still have a long way to go until I'm able to do... well... until I'm able to do what I need to do, everything. Until I can fight alongside everyone, and... not hold them back. But I'll get there."

And when they were out on the dance floor... She'd hug him, her head on his torso in that way you could only dance with someone who, frankly, was just WAY too tall for you to begin with...

"Besides... I know you work for Obsidian. Someone over there is *bound* to do something dumb enough that you'll join our side for a fight or two or three again and I'll be able to fight besides you again for a little bit, looking forward to that. You can give me some more pointers then, senpai. So you'd better keep building them up until then."
Mamoru Chiba There's silence from the prince-- the groom-- for a moment as he listens, as he thinks about what Emi says. He pushes her cake over when she's done.

"For what it's worth, I didn't set you up; I didn't think of it until I saw you fall asleep," says Mamoru apologetically. "I'm sorry you had to see the end of the world. That kind of thing is-- we wanted to give it some new fresh good memories, to help cleanse the bad ones. It's sleeping, which I knew, but I wasn't sure if it dreamt."

He takes a bite of his cake and... wow, he's eating ''really good cake'' oh my god is this cake amazing it literally has magic ingredients--?? (It does!) He holds his hand in front of his mouth and glances to Emi and says, "Seriously try it, the ingredients come from Hinoiri-chan's magical pony land, and Mako-chan over there made it - that's Makoto Kino - and it's absurdly good. Unless you haven't eaten anything substantial yet, in which case, buffet is full of delicious also."
Usagi Tsukino "Thank you, Izou-kun," is what Usagi returned with a smile, when the bouquet was passed off, and then she had kissed her husband (her HUSBAND!) and laughed and patted his cheek as he said he was off for introvert time, and she had agreed, because oh, this is a ''social'' time.

She basks in it, though, the music, the people, the warmth and the cheer and the ''home'' of being on the Moon, even as the Earth beckons too.

Turning, she surveys the crowd of her friends, and her eyes catch on blue, and she weaves through the crowd until she finds the person she seeks.

"Ami-chan," she asks, cheerful, loving, ''hopeful'', "May I have this dance?"

Her hand is extended, just as New Moon's had been, but there's no poison lurking in the sweetness of her voice now.
Takashi Agera     Riventon shakes his head at Hotaru. "I wish I could think you were right - but I know you're not on this one. The world's not a fairytale, even if we're dancing together on the Moon today - it's not always going to be this nice. I'm not always going to get to be nice. Not if I want to protect everyone here." he says, slowly.

"I'm a Vice-Director now, and... That show might be a barrel of idiot monkeys, but it's going to be my show, and I'm going to get it under control. Because I don't want to ever see things get so ''bad'' that you have to get fully involved, like you did in the past." Oh, Riventon knows Things.

"I'm not going to see this hard work undone by anyone. And that means... being powerfui enough to put threats to it... in thier place."

He laughs a bit. "I fought a Director to a draw last week..." he says, simply. "Soon I won't be fighting them to ''draws''. And then I'll finally have everything under control, and all of you won't need to fight, and the world won't risk brushes with death only to be pulled from the brink by a miracle. Because if you look around here... outside the domes... Miracles don't always happen, or if they do... they take a very long time." he says, his eyes turning back to the bride and groom.
Sailor Mercury She swallowed. No, it wasn't a sudden lump in her throat, it was just the usagiri. Then she her plate aside as Usagi made her approach. Ami smoothed over her dress, straightened, and failed abysmally to hide brilliant smile.

Not that she'd tried to hide it. Not from ''her''. Not now.

"It was either going to be you or Jadeite." Ami said in feigned musing. "And--this is absolutely no commentary on him--but, you know there's definitely no contest."

Were it not for the sudden rosiness of her cheeks, Ami might even have managed to sell the bit there. Instead, though, she took Usagi's hand.

"You may."
Sailor Saturn Sailor Saturn gave a small nod. "Then I'll keep trusting you," she whispered. "Nobody else there would listen to me, senpai. That's why I believe in you... and... I'll keep believing in you. Even if you make mistakes, or slip up. I know you'll always make the right choie in the end," she said with a grin.

"Because I know, when I need you, you'll come when I need your help. Even if we're on opposite sides..."

"... I don't want to have to go back to sleep ever again," she whispered softly. "Because that's what awaits me, if I have to, fully, get involved again. If you could get them under control... that would be nice. I know... there's way, way too many idiots over there. Sure, there's silly ones, and funny ones, but then there's silly murdery ones, like Joker..." See, just cause she found him fun didn't mean she didn't know he'd kill anyone and everyone...

"But miracles do happen, senpai. And like it or not... And you'd best start believing in them. After all, you were one of mine. Hee hee."
Emi Hoshino "I didn't think so," remarks Emi to Mamoru, "but I'd be careful nosing around in there, Mamoru. Old nightmares can find a place to grow again when fresh eyes interpret them anew."

Emi shakes her head, face screwing up a little in discomfort. She's not much for crowds, or discussing her business in the open. She's just terrible about these things which is why, of course, it's important that it happen.

"Congratulations. I'm really happy for you and Usagi, by the way." She didn't really know much about the whole 'New Moon' and 'Wicked Lady' stuff, as befitting someone who spends a lot of time in their own head (and, to be fair, in other people's heads.).
Mamoru Chiba Mamoru's talking with Emi, but for a moment his eyes are on Kazuo and Izou, and for another on Usagi and Ami, and one corner of his mouth turns up. Then his focus is back on the goth girl, "I can't see its dreamscape like you can. I can feel its... I can feel it through my connection with Usagi as much as my power, since it's her planet, not mine... but I can see its memories, and they match my own, and my nightmares. My eyes on it aren't fresh. Yours are, but you know how not to wake things up, right? You're the Oneiropope."

He has another bite of amazing cake, and that's a moment, and then he says, "I'll stop if you don't like that."
Usagi Tsukino Usagi giggles, her eyes locked on Ami, not even pretending to look around for her fellow blond.

"I'm glad to have your seal of approval!"

Her hand is taken, and though she's hardly the most ''graceful'' of people, Usagi has learned a little of dancing, since that day at the Princess of D Kingdom's ball. Ami isn't pulled into anything as fancy as a waltz, but it's a little more than just swaying, either, as Usagi holds her hand and places the other on her hip, pulling her close as the music plays.

"Chibi-chan's still with me, you know. I promise I'll give her back, later. It was really, really nice to have her," the words are quiet, just for Ami, as the two of them sway and dance, rocking together. "Thank you, Ami-chan. You, and Mamochan - you two trusted me, even when I was so sick, and miserable, and making everyone else miserable. I don't... I don't know if I can tell you how much that means to me, you know?"
Chibiusa Tsukino     Sailor Chibimoon, naturally, was first in line to get a slice of her own birthday cake. She was also very very sure to take a bite of it in front of Makoto and loudly go, "Mmm! This is delicious! You make the best cakes, Mako-chan!"

Like really, she was a bit obnoxious about it.

Now she's working her way through yet another slice of cake and... yeesh, maybe she should settle down. She's feeling a bit full.

No. No! She will not have it. She will not be defeated by cake! This cake is delicious and she ''will'' have it! It's the first birthday cake that ''this'' Makoto ever made for her and it's amazing and she ''will not be defeated''.

Luna-P hovers over her shoulder, looking at the cake. Chibimoon glances at the catball and says, "What do you think?" It pings at her. "Oh! Right. I should wash it down. That'll help."
