Owner Pose
Usagi Tsukino It's been a quiet few weeks on the Black Moon front, for those who ventured off to the future and returned sans Moon Rabbits. There's been no signs of the violence that characterized their early assaults, no attacks on seemingly random citizens and places - nothing.

And then, in the early afternoon, there's... an incident, all right.

"''Obviously'', I'm not paying for this," a young woman in a gothic black dress with long, long pink hair that's been pulled back into a thick French braid and tucked under a straw hat. There's a black crescent moon on her forehead. "It's an offering to Wicked Lady. She doesn't ''have'' to pay for anything."

The young woman in question is talking about the boxes and boxes of Karaage Fried Chicken she's surrounded by, having ordered more and more to be brought to her and then tried to dine and dash by way of... just getting up and walking to the door with her boxes.

The person trying to stop her is a hapless server.

"If you're not paying, then you need to surrender that fried chicken! I don't ''care'' about who this Wicked Lady is, but here in Tokyo we ''pay'' for food!"

The young woman's face darkens.

"Oh, that was the ''wrong'' thing to say. ''Everyone'' should care about Wicked Lady!"

She holds out her hand, a mass of dark energy collecting there, even as the young woman's face goes pale.

"In the name of the Wicked Moon, repent!"

The young server goes flying through the air, like ragdoll physics have been turned on, and the people who had been watching in amusement and horror scream as the Dark Energy streams into a small chicken sculpture, causing it to grow. And grow.

"Grow my monster, grow! Teach them to put some respect on Wicked Lady's name!"

The chicken sculpture is now the size of a horse.

"BA-BAWWWWWK!"
Chibiusa Tsukino     Sitting in a sporty pink convertible car outside the KFC is a rather refined young woman. The car's top is down and she's sitting on ''top'' of the seatback with her high heels resting on the dash. Her parasol rests on her shoulder, shielding her from the light as her mauve sash drapes off of her arms.

Her red eyes glance towards the shop where, apparently, New Moon has had to... use a bit of forceful persuasion on the staff.

"Oh dear me." Wicked Lady tsks with disapproval. "Well. There's always a first, you know? Someone who has to serve as the example."

The pink twintailed woman is watching the inside of the shop, observing New Moon's handling of the situation, but not yet interfering. She trusts mo-- her loyal assistant to handle things on her own. There's no need to interfere yet.
Nephrite In behind the Sporty Convertible is the smooth purr of a V12 engine pulling in. Sleek red body and tinted windows, the wide set of this dancing pony trots in with style. Of course, this beautiful Ferrari is being driven by none other than the ever stylish Masato Sanjouin in expensive sunglasses.

He's matched by Mamoru Chiba, riding shotgun with the windows down, and a loud beep aims to startle Wicked Lady.
Veronica Perenna Lovely weather for a walk in Mitakihara. The sky is clear, the flowers are in bloom, the buzz of people happily ordering food fills the air... No, scratch that last one. And the first one for that matter. There is a clearly dark moon in the sky, and it's ruining a perfectly standard day.

"Moonlit Heist, Phantom Thief Release, My Evolution!", Veronica calls out, snapping her fingers and summoning the Hallward painting's blessing. Glowing mist wraps around her, and her magical garments materialise, accompanied by feline ears sprouting from her scalp, and a swishing tail emerging behind her.

"The Princess of Sarek, with hope held tight, I leap through shadows to light up the night!" she sings the final verse, holding her cane tightly in her hand.

It's somewhat nostalgic, she supposes, meeting Black Moon like this after their return, makes you feel like like things are always the same, even though they have changed into one very important way. And this is not Petz.

And this is not the cat thief either. With her hands held high above her head, a blonde girl in twintails hums a melody, clapping them twice. "An hurray for everyone in this beautiful day! Say it with me, dear patrons! Fast food workers are doing their best! Hurray, hurray, for them!"

Yes, she is addressing the dark lady in the store with that.
Elodie Vautrin Go out, they said. See those sights, they said. Enjoy Tokyo. Go interesting places by following the map on your phone. Chicken! Chicken sounds good. Elodie was hungry, after all, and she'd had a long day of touring. Saw some shrines, fell and skinned BOTH her knees at one point, and she couldn't be happier about all of it. It makes her feel very human.

On the other hand, she heard the hew and cry and the thundering cluck of a giant chicken arriving on scene. Heading in that direction reveals .... multiple oddities, but the most immediately demanding and attention grabbing above all else is the giant chicken sculpture that's become animate.

"Ech," scoffs Elodie, before taking a moment to skitter off out of sight -- fortunately easy enough with everyone's attention commanded by ongoing events. The sudden explosion of light from between the storefronts she hurried to might get attention, however, as is the blooming white and gold flower made of light that briefly unfolded around her to leave her properly in shape to defeat this abomination against good taste -- and also the monster.

Staring at it now, she is vaguely reminded of a radio show she once heard about a giant chicken heart taking over the entire planet, ending all life as they knew it. Fortunately, Mirrorheart is here to prevent such a tragedy from occurring and she strides across the street towards the building, raising her hand.

"Lame de Fracture!" Her waiting hand is met by a sword that seems to burn its way into existence in a swarm of ephemeral glyphs as she grips it. Long, heavy, gleaming to a mirrored sheen with burning veins of white-gold light through the blade. And she is striding right towards the store. After all that, she's just still gonna have to chime the bell to walk in the front door.
Mamoru Chiba Texting Izou from shotgun (shotgun!), there's a prince who glances up and then doubletakes.

Mamo TXT Zoi: omg its SL/WL

And then Masato BEEPS.

"Noooooo!!" Mamoru yelps, lunging to YOU CAN'T UNBEEP A HORN, MAMORU.

"IT WAS AN ACCIDENT SORRY!" he yells out the window and then opens the door and scrambles out of the car, looking truly flustered. "Wicked Lady! Are you okay?" A beat. "Nice car."

Another, and Mamoru's gaze slides over to the KFC. "Is... is that your chicken?"
Zoisite SL/WL?

What in the Gods name did that me--

''Oh. Duh.''

Not even thirty seconds later, there's a burst of pink, petals raining down from the sky as Zoisite floats midair above the red Ferrari, arms crossed and ready. Well, he ''was'' ready, until he saw what exactly everyone was looking at.

''"YOU DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT THE CHOCOBO, MAMORU!!"'' It left him so quick, almost insulted, before eyeing the woman in pink who was clearly Small Moon, who is still had a twinge of grief with after she willingly broke the barrier of the Crystal Palace for a tantrum. First time seeing her as an adult and it really did show that the apple didn't fall far from the tree.

A sigh. What fools do for the love of their prince. Dangerous spirals of cherry blossoms surround him ready.
Usagi Tsukino New Moon's youma is a Giant Chicken Statue, the size of a horse with painted stone feathers and a sharp beak and talons that are breaking the tiles in the restaurant. It's a Chicken, alright, and the people in the store are panicking as they flee from the chicken and also the young woman in her dark dress and hat.

"Hmm... I'm going to name you, Ba-Bawk! Because that's what you said. Ba-Bawk! Teach them a lesson! All chicken belongs to Wicked Lady!"

"BA-BAWWWWK!" caws the enormous chicken, scratching at the tile as it lowers its head, much like a bull prepping for the charge.

New Moon floats into the air, casually floating to the door with her boxes of chicken - only to pause, as Sonata Cheer appears on the scene.

"Aw, that's ''adorable''! You should cheer like that for my Wicked Lady, she's the best! These fast food workers don't admire her enough, but I bet with your energy, you'd persuade them!" This is genuine praise, but... does Sonata Cheer want it? Probably not. "But this chicken is going to get cold, and she deserves better than that, so would you mind going and bothering Ba-Bawk instead of me, while I feed her?"

This too, is a genuine request. As New Moon looks upon Sonata Cheer, she lifts her head, and frowns, to see -

"Oh, is that a ''sword''? It is! That's sharp, you know, you could hurt someone!"

And then Ba-Bawk charges forward, heading right for Sonata Cheer and the door to the outside of the restaurant.
Chibiusa Tsukino     Wicked Lady doesn't even acknowledge the Ferrari pulling up to her. She's ''aware'' of it, but she pretends not to be. Even as it beeps at her. Look, she's a fancy classy lady waiting for her beloved mother-- er, ''assistant'' to come back with the fried chicken that they ''need'' for their all important family bonding time-- um, evil plans to find the future's missing Silver Crystal.

Eventually, and ever so slightly, her head turns, and she spares a single sideways glance at the man approaching, and--

Her entire demeanor changes. Are those stars in her wicked little eyes? The parasol is dropped into the driver's seat as she clasps her hands together. "Mamochan~! Did you come to rescue me from these terrible brutes?"

The brutes in this case being (poor) Masato and the (poor) staffer who is just trying to get the shop paid its fair due. Look, no one ever said that evil had to be fair in its assessment of a situation.

Resting her cheek on one palm while flapping the other hand dismissively, Lady says, "Why, yes! It's ''our'' chicken. I see you're feeling better after our last little chat." She pats the frame of the door and says, "Care to join us?"

Sonata Cheer appears, cheering for the sake of fast food workers, Elodie, armed and dangerous, Zoisite, still bitter. Wicked Lady frowns at them each in turn. "Ah, yes. I thought some of you would show up soon. Oh please don't trouble my lovely assistant. She really is doing her best in these trying times."

Wicked Lady shifts to where she is now sitting side saddle on the passenger side door (the window is down, naturally) as she calls out towards her underling and her underling's underling. "New Moon, dear! It seems we have company. Please do the needful. Oh! Bring that here."
Mamoru Chiba "What's a chocobo?" Mamoru calls to Zoisite over his shoulder, face wreathed in confusion-- but no longer alarm, because Wicked Lady didn't flip out at Masato. "The giant chicken? It just showed up."

But ... he turns to look back to the corrupted Chibiusa, who's so happy to see him, and 'save me from these terrible brutes', and he looks uncertain. "I came to get fried chicken with Neph, actually. But I'm really glad to see you and New Moon!"

He comes closer and he doesn't get ''in'' the car but he leans against it casually, the frame of the door where Wicked Lady patted it. "I'm feeling a ''lot'' better. I also told your uncle Takashi about what's going on, and he wants you to be really careful because Obsidian has the Black Moon Clan flagged as kill on sight. I..."

He holds his hand out, palm up, just offering fingertips. "I want to join you, I want very much to join you, but I can't do the dark energy thing. But I'm very good at the game!"

He calls over to Masato and Zoisite, "I mean, can you kill it? The chocobo?"
Nephrite There is a small roll of his eyes that follows Mamoru's scrambling-- one owner of a nice car to another, there's a certain kind of language, a certain kind of instant rivalry that exists. The beep was entirely necessary. The fact that Wicked Lady pretends not to notice is a surefire sign that she has seen the Testarossa and knows it's better than her sportscar in every way.

This is what Masato thinks, anyway. It's a subtle language.

He's already gotten out of the car, setting an elbow on the roof of it, to peer over at whatever the hells is happening here. Sunglasses are pushed up to sit on his head, and he peers at the very large chicken shaped chaos that's unfolding inside. Soon to be outside, perhaps.

"The whole point of take out is not having to do the work," He sighs. Could he possess a chicken statue? Yeah, probably. Did he want to? No. "I just wanted wings..."
Zoisite Roll of his eyes, casually pulling out the newest smartphone and texting a picture of a chocobo, the fictional creature, to Mamoru. "You really need to play Final Fantasy. It's not ''that'' hard. There's a hot white haired villain you might like." Clears his throat. It wasn't his main reason for picking up the game (yes it was) in the first place.

"Anyway, no. Chocobos are meant to be ridden. Whatever's in that joint is... either feral or overweight. Possibly both." Waves a gloved hand dismissively at the commotion within, nose turned up.

His gaze turns down to Masato, him still lingering over the red sports car. "What flavor?"
Veronica Perenna Sonata Cheer shakes her head when she is offered to change cheer team, while Veronica is holding herself from chuckling about the youma's appearance. It's not quite every day you fight a giant chicken. It's the first for her in fact.

"Appreciate the encouragement, but I can't do that. Disrupting calm and quiet gets you no cheer, that's rule number 1! Follow it and you can certainly get your cheer, with a smile on top!", she points with both hands to her smiling mouth.

But the chicken is charging at her in the meantime, while Mirrorheart charges forward with her sword, and with a "huh!", Sonata Cheer somersaults in the air, landing atop the chicken, sitting just behind her neck. She is borrowing that ride.

"Hiiiii, Mamoru-san!", the blonde singer waves happily when the chicken shows itself outside and the two of the four heavenly kings in the car. "Lovely day, isn't it?"

Wicked Lady gets a look. Two new Black Moon members in the same day? "Your assistant is a hard worker! But so are the employees here, you know?"

"Aren't you a pretty chicken! We are gonna put you back in place soon!", Sonata Cheer compliments the chicken, and as soon as they are out of the KFC, she gets a hold onto its neck, throwing herself off to swing around and kick the giant bird at its left side.
Elodie Vautrin Boy, there sure is a lot of confusing things happening right now. Clearly, there's far more to this situation than Elodie herself has the time to figure out...

... again.

But giant chicken? She can definitely deal with that. It's her first giant chicken, but hardly her first giant monster, after all. She braces herself as it charges, then kicks off the ground with a powerful leap as it closes, vaulting up into the air, doing a brief handstand on its head, and then letting her forward momentum carry her and the sword over onto its back, where she, and her considerable strength drive it straight into its back with a massive screech of metal.

Speaking of chocobos needing to be ridden, Mirrorheart is ow using her sword as a makeshift means to steer the thing.

... twisting and leaning heavily on it to try to make it turn its charge directly towards New Moon. Whether she can keep aboard is another matter entirely. Sonata is giving a quick, cheerful wave in the meantime.
Usagi Tsukino New Moon has chicken in her hands - boxes and boxes of delicious karaage style fried chicken - some of it in wings, but mostly boneless chunks of delicious meat. She's got French fries and buttered corn and little side dishes all in plastic containers. There are packets of sauce in all kinds of flavors and spice levels and everything smells ''divine'', and all she wants in the world is to present this feast to her little girl. Her little girl who is also her boss because of ''course'' she is, that's how it works!

And yet, here she is, being stopped in the act by a bunch of teenagers.

"I finally understand how annoying all of this is," she mumbles to herself, before perking up, at the sound of Wicked Lady's voice. "Of course, Wicked Lady! I'll be right there!"

Fortunately for her, the way forward is clear, with Ba-Bawk charging right along.

Unfortunately for Ba-Bawk, the youma is ''not'' expecting to get ''ridden'', with Sonata Cheer gripping onto their back as they charge forward rampaging about, cracking pavement and knocking over things in their path.

"BA-BAAAAAWK!! BAWK!!"

The imperiled chicken shrieks as it's ridden about, thrashing it's wings to try and knock Sonata Cheer loose, but then the hero is free and ''kicking them in the side''!

"BAWK!"

A second, smaller chicken, poofs into existence and flies right for Sonata Cheer's face.

"If you won't cheer for Wicked Lady, then you don't deserve to cheer at all! Ba-Bawk, get her!"

Ba-Bawk throws New Moon a look like, 'what do you think I'm doing here!'

New Moon is not paying attention. She is meandering on over to Wicked Lady, ignoring Masato and Zoisite both because they're useless plebians who aren't bowing to her darling daughter-boss and will therefore rot in the bowels of the Earth. She's ''almost'' to the Barbie pink convertible, when there's a screech of metal and the pained shriek of a chicken and she turns -

"WAH!" And scrambles for the Barbie car. "Wicked Lady! Here! Please enjoy your meal!!"

Ba-Bawk is shrieking and wheeling about, being jerked along by the sword in their back - and ''chickens'' keep popping into existence with every yank of the sword, two, three, four, five, all of them normal sized, and all of them flying for Elodie and trying to claw at her hands and eyes.

As soon as Wicked Lady has her food, New Moon turns, and with a scowl thrusts both arms forward, pouring out a ''wave'' of Dark Energy towards Ba-Bawk and Elodie.

Ba-Bawk GROWS, now the size of an SUV instead of a horse, and Elodie will feel the dark energy crash over her as though she were a delicate little creature being thrown about by the ocean.

"You almost made me drop Wicked Lady's food! Mamorin, you need to control your friends, or they'll have more trouble than they can manage. Don't you want to make Wicked Lady happy? This is ''not'' making her happy."

She's ''pouting''.
Chibiusa Tsukino     Wicked Lady looks a little nonplussed that Mamoru didn't come here for ''her specifically'' but she doesn't voice her complaint. Instead she reaches back behind her for her parasol and rests it over her shoulder again, twirling it slowly in one hand while keeping her red eyes on him. He's glad to see them? "Well, the feeling is mutual, dear. Isn't that right, my loyal assistant?"

Obsidian has the Black Moon Clan, and therefore ''her'' flagged as kill on site? She gracefully covers her mouth with one hand and lets out a single bark of laughter. "Ha! Well, they ought to consider the better part of valor. We aren't the kind of company you trifle with."

She glances at his open palm, considers for a moment, and then reaches up to touch fingertips with him. He can hang out with them, if he likes. Neither her nor New Moon would certainly ''mind'', and their little game is still going strong. "My dear, if you don't want your dark energy, that's more for us."

Wicked Lady spares a glance towards Sonata Cheer's enthusiasm, snaps her parasol short and points at her. "Oh, you're cute. Are you ''sure'' we can't turn you? I'm sure we can get you more rideable chickens or... something."

Oh, joy of joys! Her food is here! Best mom! She'll tell her that... probably never, but her eyes and smile are the very image of selfish delight. Her parasol vanishes as she steeples her fingers together, before taking the offered food and ''finally'' sitting down in the carseat properly.

She delicately takes out one bitesized boneless meat chunk and pops it into her mouth, politely nomming and getting absorbed in her meal as the fight happens around her. Really, it's beneath her concern. As long as no one ''she'' cares about is harmed.

Even the car she's in is more or less replaceable. She's not in love with it like the man with the dancing pony.

"Oh you really should try this, whenever you're finished there," she offers to New Moon. "Oh, and you too," she adds, glancing to Mamoru.
Elodie Vautrin First, there is the fact that the chicken is trying to get rid of her. This makes the already uncomfortable and bumpy ride even bumpier. Then it's spawning ... smaller ... chickens. There is an uttered set of curse words in french. Not very nice language, Elodie! She's left swatting at them while trying to keep her grip on her blade. Easier said than done, and finally, she's forced to relinquish control altogether. Frankly, staying in one place is already dangerous, you're a sitting duck for ...

...energy blasts. The wave of dark energy strikes her and she lets out a yelp of pain as she's thrown clear of the chicken and smashes into the pavement, rolling along it for a mometn before coming to a halt. She sits straight up thereafter, a bit dazed, and picks herself up. First order of business? Check reflection in the mirrored surface of her blade. Her hair is still perfect. This important matter attneded to, she immediately splits into several mirror images of herself, leaving the smaller chickens a rather confusing set of targets to swarm.
Zoisite "Oh nevermind, it's a proper chocobo now--"

Green eyes glances down at the red car, then to Masato as he floats back down to the asphalt. "If I were you, I'd back your pony up so it won't need a new paint job. Claws and all. Nothing defeats an angry chicken, I hear."

There is no action from him still, just watching the chaos while pulling up another picture on his phone. One of the villain he was talking about with Mamoru, also texting it forward.

Zoisite TXT Mamoru: This is the guy. Hot right? <3

Zoisite TXT Mamoru: I wonder if I could convince Kazuo to wear this for me? He'd look amazing in black leather and steel.

Tiny, naughty smile.
Nephrite "They've got Nagoya-style Tebasaki wings for a limited time," Masato actually answers Zoisite's curiosity, despite everything. "Hold on, I'll try to wrangle it."

He slides back down into the driver's seat, door still open, and Henshins with a murmuring of 'Earth power etc', and prismatic light mostly hidden by window tinting. When he reappears, he's still just standing in the door of his Ferrari, leaning on the roof. It's the most lack-lustre sort of Mahou-ing, because he really just wants lunch.

Even so, he thinks now is a good potential opening. Bringing his hands together in a fast series of motions, ending in a particular sign, his eyes fixate on the giant chicken.

From beneath the car, his shadow stretches out long, rapidly extanding towards the ground beneath the stone bird. If he can just make contact with its feet to ensnare and hold them in place...
Mamoru Chiba The touch is fleeting and light, but there's the warm swell of Mamoru's power and the Earth's steady presence, and mingled with it is unconditional love for the person whose hand he is touching. He wants to come with them. But not this time. He has to make sure Anko doesn't smother Diana with love. (There is the mental image of Anko scruffing a mewing Diana and jumping up to lick her head a lot on top of a tall thing.) He has to make sure Kazuo knows where he's going.

And as New Moon addresses him as Mamorin, he's confused and thinking of the disguise pen when the touch is dropped.

His hands go up to check his hair, and it's only the normal amount of fluffy. "I'm not a girl right now!" he whispers urgently. And his phone is buzzing in his hand and he's Gen Z or whatever so obviously he looks at it, and then he blushes bright red and shoves his phone in his pocket, then crosses his arms. "I don't control my friends, but come on, half of the fun of youma is heckling from the sidelines, right?"

He calls out to everyone, half-twisting, "Be careful! And don't attack Wicked Lady or New Moon, you'd need like at least twelve finishers at once. If you get hurt, I'll fix it after, okay?"

Then he looks back at his future wife and daughter, shifting his weight and taking half a step away from Neph's shadow on the ground, and he lets out a tiny sigh and reaches for a piece of the chicken timbits and smiles ruefully. "Thanks, Wicked Lady."
Veronica Perenna The chicken's efforts to dislodge Sonata are certainly very good, but the Idol magical girl is as stubborn as it is, and very good and holding onto, just in time for her kick to give the chicken something else to focus onto.

"Bwah!", she groans when she is hit in the face by a way smaller chicken, losing her grip on the youma's neck and rolling on the asphalt, hands instinctively holding the spawned bird safely. "There, there", she pets the chicken once Sonata has finished rolling.

Getting to her feet, she delicately sets the chicken down facing away from the shop. "Go on, you are safer that way", she pats her on the back, urging her away from the fight.

She is happy to wave back to Mirrorheart before joining back into the fight, and she gives a giggle at Wicked Lady's offer. "Pretty sure, yeah, I am happy right where I am! But thank you for the ride, it was fun!"

So says she, and she sings a brief verse to accompany her answer, even. "There is something in the air, and I am feeling it. No better time to be alive~" Veronica is really enjoying herself in this disguise. Right after that, she dives towards the big chicken, aiming for its legs with a low kick.
Usagi Tsukino "Now that you've got your food, we can leave whenever you're ready, Wicked Lady," New Moon says earnestly, turning her back on the fighting entirely. "These annoying little brats who don't want to worship you aren't worth your time, after all."

Mamoru is hissing urgently at her, and she pauses, momentarily puzzled, before recognition briefly flashes in her eyes and she smiles at him, warm and bright. "You're right," she says, cheerful, "But Wicked Lady claimed Mamochan, and you're not Mamo-sama yet."

Some of that brightness fades, after a moment, as she refocuses on her mistress-daughter.

"Heckling from the sides is fine, but not when they almost make me drop things! Wicked Lady's things! Those are the most ''important'' things.

As she's saying this, Ba-Bawk's miniature chickens are swarming around Elodie's mirror copies, getting confused by the way they keep failing to connect with a real body. Sonata Cheer, who's gently patted her attacking chicken, has confused it utterly, and it actually does end up wandering off at her urging, clucking urgently as it meanders the street outside Karaage Fried Chicken.

New Moon pays it no mind. "Ba-Bawk can entertain these fools plenty. Since there's nothing left for us here."

Mamoru is thrown another pout.

And then - Ba-Bawk is kicked in the legs, and one of them ''cracks'', the stone beginning to give way. The wound in their back, combined with this new leg damage, causes it to stagger, and Nephrite's shadow seizes it tight, keeping it pinned in places.

"BAAAAAWWWWWWWK!!!!"

Unable to run, it flares it's stone wings about, swiping them around like a video game Samurai doing a flurry of impractical but impressive looking moves.
Chibiusa Tsukino     Oh? So papa isn't coming with? A shame, but really, it's best that he stay out of trouble. Wicked Lady doesn't want Demande getting his filthy 'incel' (whatever that word means) hands on him. Any steps that Mamoru takes to protect himself are still in service of Wicked Lady, anyways.

Oh? Diana is in the alt-past now? That's... interesting. Little kitten must have missed her.

"Oh of course!" she says, after Mamochan takes a bite.

Sonata rebuffs her offer, and Wicked Lady scoffs. "A pity." Then she's eating a french fry, not being terribly upset that the idol magical girl isn't convinced yet. They will all bow to her, sooner or later. All will love her and despair.

New Moon seems anxious, and Wicked Lady shifts over to the driver's seat, placing the box of food between them. "Very well. Get settled in, assistant." She twiddles her fingers at Mamoru for a moment and smiles, saying, "Ta ta, dear Mamochan~! We'll meet again I'm sure."

While making sure that New Moon is ready to go, Wicked Lady blows a kiss at Mamoru, before the pink convertible...

... lifts up into the air and starts flying.

"Until we meet again, cuties! And losers! And cute losers!"

Wicked Lady does not specify who is which. She expects it to be intuitive.

... and now the Lady and the Moon are flying away, food firmly secured, while Ba-Bawk is left to whatever fate awaits it.
Mamoru Chiba "Oh, ''I'' see what you meant!" Mamoru's expression clears when New Moon explains about dropping Wicked Lady's things.

"Yes, that's very rude." Dear gods, did Chibiusa hit Usagi on the ''head'' before the dark energy? Help. Help help help. This is like Sailor Eclipse but ''much worse''.

But also, girl hot.

After licking his fingers after eating the little piece of stolen chicken, Mamoru reaches with his other hand to try and touch New Moon's bare upper arm, even as she's pouting, but that's when Wicked Lady ''gets in the driver's seat'' and Mamoru looks ''unbelievably'' alarmed. "Do you know how to drive??" he practically squeaks--

--and then the car takes off. Like. Into the air.

His hand's still in the air where he ''almost''...

Mamoru sighs.

"Earth Prism Power, Make Up!"

One lackluster henshin sequence later, and Tuxedo Kamen throws a rose at the chicken's head.
Zoisite A long sigh as he pulls his attention away from his phone. Gods, what a racket. Tsk. "I suppose I'll lend a torch."

Snap of his fingers, some of his cherry blossoms shoot out, calculated, directly into Ba-Bawk's mouth to explode on impact. Not exactly the fried chicken he wanted, but the fried chicken they all apparently deserved.
Elodie Vautrin What is even happening right nwo.

Elodie has seen strange things. She has seen wondrous things. She has seen things that are strange AND wondrous.

... but this is something else. It's just weird.

She bounces a drill curl with her hand thoughtfully and then summons up a swarm of glass shards from the ether, shaped like crystal butterflies, and sends them swarming towards the smaller chickens swarming her own duplicates from which she is now a safe distance away from.

"Floraison de Fracture!" she incants, causing a burst of radial light to consume them. Her eyes switch back to Ba-Bawk, staring at as if to say 'if you know what's good for you, you'll turn back into a normal statue next'.

Because that's gonna work.
Nephrite The shadow holds, now that he has the chicken-- he only needs to keep eye contact, and technically he can't move while he's emplying this technique. But there's plenty of other people to whale on this rock of a roc.

He feels a little sorry for Mamoru, having to watch that near-barbie pink car take off like a bad movie with his girls. The pavement's all wrecked, there's people freaking out.

He wonders if the Karaage's going to be shut down for the rest of the day, now.

He just wanted wings.
Veronica Perenna For the second time this day, Sonata Cheer rolls on the asphalt below her when Ba-Bawk starts flapping its wings like a samurai, although this time is not a consequence of the attack, but her own way to dodge the strike of flurries. "Quite the good wingmanship", she chuckles, leaping up to stand once more with support on her hands.

The pink-eyed girl is thrown off slightly when the car starts flying off. Sure, magic, but she generally doesn't assume every little thing other magical people use is enchanted. Considering the way Wicked Lady was sitting, she could have very well imagined her showing off to passersby while her assistant drives for her.

Nope, she was sitting on the driver's seat for a reason. Not that Veronica can blame her. With how good leaping through the air as a magical girl feels, driving a flying car must be somewhat similar. Even more so with no traffic. "Time to close up for us too then!", she rises her fist at the sky.

"Yeah, we have come so far, now we are looking forward
to a brand new start, fire in our hearts, never let these memories die
"

Tapping the ground with her foot, it ripples like water, and an illusionary moon is reflected there, shining brightly. A second later, a giant top hat is emerges, passing through Ba-Bawk with purifying energy and possibly making parts of it disappear.
Usagi Tsukino Mamoru reaches out - but Wicked Lady calls, and New Moon answers, sliding into her seat in the passenger seat before he can touch her. She waves to him, as they depart, and she's not been hit on the head, but honestly, with the way her priorities have been forcefully re-arranged, she might as well have been.

But the car is flying off, and so is she.

Ba-Bawk has been cruelly abandoned, and the youma caws hopelessly, as an array of attacks strike all at once -

Fiery petals bursting in their throat.

A rose strikes in the center of their head, buried to the hilt, until the is all that sticks out.

Glass shards in the shape of butterflies whirl about, cutting, tearing, rending.

And last of all, a great top hat, whirling through and purifying the dark energy that had filled the statue.

There's a mournful cry - "BAAAAAA.....BAWK!" - and the youma crumbles to pieces, leaving behind the original statue, now surrounded by stone chicks.
Elodie Vautrin Well.

That was not quite what was expected -- those cherry blossoms, but weirder things have happened, oh, in the last five minutes or so anyway.

Elodie raises her sword, prepares to attack, and then it's just ... exploded by them.

And a regular statue with stone chicks remains. She lowers her sword and mutters something in French to herself. While those present may not speak the language, it is unmistkably 'I'm going home' in the degree of frustrated fatigue that it is stated.

She raises her sword, salutes towards the others, and then proceeds to march off without another moment's notice.

Just another day in Tokyo, it seems.
Nephrite Ducking behind his door, the henshin falls away, and Masato Sanjouin strolls out towards the statuette and the various chicks. It's a sad scene, and the state of the frontage of the business is in tatters. He's almost certainly not getting lunch.

But he's not walking away empty handed. He starts to pick up the chicks and the mother, gathering them in an arm.

"For the rooftop garden," he says, apparently to Zoisite, as he takes them back to his car.
Mamoru Chiba "...next time, I'm getting in that car," says Mamoru, shading his eyes as he looks at where the barbie car vanished into the sky.

Then he looks back around and drops his henshin, still right out in front of Godoka and everyone, and he pauses on seeing the stone chicks. He stares at those for a second, and then New Girl is marching off. "Oh, rip," he says, and then checks to see if Veronica is all right -- and he calls over to twintailed Sonata Cheer, "That was Chibiusa and her best friend."

Then he watches as Masato...

"Should I tell Mako-chan that you're out picking up chicks?"
Zoisite "I was hoping we'd get boxes of fried chicken instead of stone chicks. ''Argh, whatever."'' Mutters, almost bored of the whole situation until Masato starts to gather up the little statuettes.

And mentions the roof garden.

It brings a little smile to his face. Discreet, but present at the gesture. Yes, the hen and chicks would find peace in the flora.

"Tell her that he brought them home too." Adding to Mamoru's tease without looking at his prince.

"I'll see you lot back there." With a turn, he disappears into petals, leaving them.
Veronica Perenna "We are gonna have to haul that off", Sonata Cheer blinks when they are left with the statue out here. Most of all she is surprised the chickens Ba-Bawk spawned turned into stone instead of vanishing. Good for the KFC. They will probably appreciate the extra decorations if they can spare the space.

She opens her mouth when Nephrite starts carrying them off for himself, then closes it again with a shrug. It will probably be fine. She will just sneak by later and make sure the KFC is refunded both the food and the statue.

The idol magical girl wants to go over to Mirrorheart and high-five her as a welcome to the team, but before she can, the new magical girl has disappeared. Maybe another time then.

Freezing at Mamoru's explanation, she looks towards the direction Wicked Lady flew away to. "She is so... grown up. The years finally got a move on", she considers. "At least partially."

"They are so stone-faced. I don't think they would be very impressed", she tells Mamoru. "Do we know what her friend's name is?"
Mamoru Chiba "New Moon," Mamoru says to Veronica, trailing after Nephrite. "She's the one called New Moon."
