| Zoisite | Urgency. Everything needs to be spotless and Izou had been non stop since returning home from classes. Thankfully he'd already bought extra snacks for them the day before, and the number for take out was ready on his phone with whatever Minako would like for dinner--unless some miracle happens and fresh homecooked food suddenly appears on the stove, which would not be of Izou's doing, clearly. Basically, this would be the first time he's invited a ''friend'' over to ''his place'' which wasn't his place proper. Just where he was living for now... It didn't matter, still his place. Awkward anxieties popping off at nerve's end. Tea was ready, strawberry flavor which was tart but delicious and pink and appropriate for the evening, but he should wait before serving. Should he reorganize the table in the living room? Ah, yes, the ''DO NOT TOUCH'' sign made of folded paper and red marker ink was put on the bar. Okay, good, because otherwise he might forget mentioning it to her and the last thing he wanted to find out is how to console someone crying. Izou checked his phone for the umpteenth time just in case Minako texts him, as well as Nephrite, to whom he sent, unknowingly, a jumbled mess of a text. ''neph text me when you get near dont want to be indecent might get you to pick up extra dinner hey closing your bedroom door'' Yes, that was enough of a heads up. Deep breath. At the end of the night, ''no one'' can say he doesn't have a proper friend outside of the Shitennou circle. Take that, mahou society. Fuck you. |
| Sailor Venus | If it were anyone bit Izou the thought of 'going to a boys house' would likely fill Minako with glee depending on the situation. It's Izou though, so it's a different kind of nervousness, because she had kind of been a complete jerk to him and she couldn't even claim that he deserved it this time. She'd been the one that had ruined the tentative friendship that was forming after the whole kerfluffle over her hairbow, fire, and Kazou. It was time to step away from Kazuo though. Izou wasn't her rival, he was more than that. Even if he was annoying at times. It wasn't much different than Rei sometimes, and she could understand HER just as well, so how could she claim that she couldn't be his friend? It wasn't happening. Even so she's steeled herself for what might occur as she approaches the address she'd been given while looking down to her phone just to check that the address is correct. A bag is tucked in hand with one of those vending machine swiss roll cakes that were all the rage according to Clock App. Minako Texts: I'm here! The text is sent off, and she takes a deep breath counting to five before moving forward to hit the doorbell proper. Enough time for warning that it would ring and then... She waits. Absently, uncertainly, but smiling with all the confidence in the world in spite of it because surely fighting monsters weren't as bad as this. Right? She'd only have to see him *all the time* if things went wrong. Maybe she should warn Usagi she's here too... Nah. |
| Zoisite | Phone buzzed, unlocking screen as he hears the bell ring a moment later. Like a rush of cold water, from face to his toes, the realization of a threshold being crossed washed over him. If he fucked this one up, it would be a bucket of nitrogen on his precious hair. He'd definitely return to Obsidian after that. Or just cease existing forever. ''Gods.'' Deep breath. Another. Lungs expanding to where they ached before the slow deliberate exhale in hopes to slow his heart rate. ''It will be okay.'' Soft steps in his mint colored house shoes, unlocking the door and opening it to greet Minako. Dark jeans and matching mint button up shirt. "Hey, come in." It left him, as casual as he could ever be. That wasn't ''so'' hard. Expression neither neutral or too obvious, merely a hint of nervousness in the corner of his eyes. Genuine--he was being genuine with how he was presenting himself to her. |
| Sailor Venus | "Hi!" Minako greets with a bit too much cheer as the door is opened revealing Izou in house shoes, and casual clothes. Casual for him at least. Her own was equally casual and completely, unintentionally, also mint. A sleeveless sundress with a ruffle neckline, tied around the waist with a matching ribbon. Even her shoes were casual white slip ons easy to walk in. No super dressing up here, no trying to show off or be flashy, but it was better than her school uniform alone. Ducking inside she gives a quick nod, "Thanks. I brought us a cake," she offers holding the little paper bag up to demonstrate before adding without apology, "Nothing fancy this time though. My allowance is almost gone." You know. Normal non-mahou things. Breifly pausing in the entrance way she shifts to toe off her shoes before stepping in further. Even as she does her blue eyes sweep around the apartment taking in the sight of it curiously. Just how did two bachelors live when they didn't have a constant cadre of magical girls sweeping through all the time like at Mamoru's? "Oh I should have asked if you're allergic to anything before getting the cake I guess. It's raspberry filled if that's okay." |
| Nephrite | He wasn't one to be too responsive to texts. So, reading Izou's frantic wordsalad came at a delay, and Masato suffered the full shock of it while picking up food. Izou clearly had somebody at the apartment, who would be staying around long enough to feed. Maybe overnight? What was he saying about his bedroom door? Did Izou go into his room? No, he wouldn't-- he's closing the door to it, but why would he-- and what did he mean, he might be ''indecent''? Stars above, was Kazuo staying over or something? What was going on? The least likely explanation was that Izou had been startled by somebody coming to the apartment unexpectedly, while undressed, and ran into Masato's room to slam the door, and was trapped there. He could have just put on some pants. Why would he not do this? Masato didn't want to think about any other possible meanings that might come of this message. Pinching the bridge of his nose, he reminded himself that he was already pressing his weekly quota for stabbings. He added an extra Katsudon to his order, and simply returned Izou a cryptic text of a smiling kaomoji with a knife. |
| Zoisite | "I'm not allergic to anything." Izou shakes his head, closing the door once she's inside. Wide eyed surprise at her having brought anything at all, and looking at the cake like he already wanted to tear into it--politely. With a fork, of course. "Nothing fancy? Aren't these the Swiss Roll cakes that were trending at some point? I heard of the canned ones, but never got to try either yet." In other words, this was fancy enough and almost made him homesick. But that last detail he didn't share as it spooked him for realizing it. "Make yourself at home, I prepared us some tea if you wanted to have any before I start showing you how to do the hair buns. It's strawberry, so it should match well with the cake." Swiftly moving into the kitchen without waiting for a proper answer, only to feel the phone buzz in his back pocket. Pulling it out, he sees the smiley kaomoji and knife from Masato and frowned. What was this about? Was the man busy in a battle? Was it Hiddenite again? It better not be, he will attack that golden store brand knight if this was the case. Izou typed back with a set of emojis, of gem, question mark, fire, heart emoji and one of the various angry faces. That should do it. Send. |
| Sailor Venus | Minako Aino looks to the cake she'd brought as it's pointed out they were perhaps indeed just slightly fancy. "They were, but they were trending because they were inexpensive but still good. I wouldn't call that fancy. Just popular!" Talk of the cake at least has her smiling more at ease. Less of that exuberant cheer and more of a genuine smile that comes easily. "I've been wanting to try one for awhile now but they were usually sold out. The canned ones are 'in' now so it was easier to get this." Maybe there's a hint of pride there at having finally obtained her prize. Just a bit. Without even needing to be told she follows into the apartment after Izou headed straight for the couch where she promptly plops down sitting sideways with one leg tucked beneath her and the other draped over the edge. "Tea sounds good! I really do want to learn how to do the hair right, though. Mine always curls way too much." Otherwise she was spot on. She was! Really! As Izou types away on his phone she watches from the couch quietly a few moments. Then she clears her throat to bring up the awkward part. "You were right, you know. About when I was upset and lashing out. I'm sorry." |
| Nephrite | The emojis stare back at Masato's annoyed grimace, now. He squinted. Precious stone... One of them? Hot... love? 'Kunzite? Things getting heated with boyfriend. SMH.' Was that it? It must've been something like it, anyway. He pulled a face like he'd caught an unpleasant smell. No wonder he wanted him to text before he came in. Masato was going to burn those throw cushions. A flick of his thumb returned a dizzy looking face, a no entry symbol, and a droplet. |
| Zoisite | Pouring tea into two matching English style tea cups adorned with pink and gold, then promptly opening up the package with the cake so he could divide it up. Almost deciding the cut it in the middle until he realized that maybe Masato would also like to try it. If the idiot was indeed fighting Hiddenite, then something sweet would lighten whatever foul mood would be returning their way. Three slices it was then. And there it was, as he was placing the first slice on a plate meant for Minako, the apology. Izou is quiet, staring blankly as he just goes through the motions of what felt familiar, keeping hands occupied similar to when he was hosting nothing but magical mahou ladies after Rubeus was burnt to a crisp. Comfort in the knowing of his actions while is mind processed what it felt with Minako's sincerity. He wondered if she felt similar when he apologized to her. A calming sensation mixed with vindication, and sympathy. No, empathy... And in an instant he was back to White Day, reading the texts and knowing that it would be hard on Minako. Maybe even wished he hadn't focused on Kazuo when both he and her were forming a bond, because rejection stung. It always stung, regardless of what it is for. A new relationship, permission, being accepted for how one was, being ''heard''... Another deep inhale. No embers in his chest. Just the quiet. He was unsure if he liked what he felt, but it was genuine, whatever it was. "He wanted to make it easier on you." Izou nodded. "...And I wasn't happy in knowing you'd be in a bad way. It didn't feel good in you saying you thought of me like that." Confessed, setting the plates on a tray along with the tea and honey. Masato's piece was wrapped up securely and placed in the fridge to remain cool. "Were it anyone else, I would actually be making fun of them. But not you." His phone buzzed again. For fuck sake, what now? Was Hiddenite dead yet? The emojis had him squinting in confusion again, quickly selecting a question mark, question mark, battery and and arched eyebrow emoji. |
| Sailor Venus | Minako Aino had turned her gaze away from him to stare down at the skirt splayed over her knees. There's a little end of thread that was barely noticable that she finds herself picking at. Likely making it worse. Her hands had nothing else to keep them busy though as she was just focusing on the apology that had brought up a few stinging feelings deep in her chest even now. A quick swallow helps to ease the tension away. "I know. I know he meant well, and that is part of what made it worse, as stupid as that may be." "I've been rejected before. Even done the rejecting myself at times. He was just so nice, and understanding, and..." Another breath keeps her from rambling so much more. The thread is tugged at with fingernails causing it to tear free. "That's why I had liked him in the first place. Even back then." 'Back then' had so many possibilities. Back when she and he were younger? The past life? Both perhaps? Minako pauses as she considers explaining before realizing it just wasn't really necessary. Digging into why *she* was upset wasn't going to help mend the damage she'd created in the first place. Her posture on the couch shifts to better look over as he finishes up in the kitchen. "I usually get to fight or destroy the guys that things don't work out with so I guess I didn't really know how to handle it otherwise. Kind of lame of me. ... I didn't really think that of you. I just..." A puff of breath, and she spreads her hands helplessly in a shrug. "I can't claim everything I do is thought out or planned ahead all the time. It was really crappy of me to say." "I hope you two are happy together though. I mean it. I see how you both look at each other, and I can be happy for my friends." |
| Nephrite | Battery? Did he expect a beating? Or was he saying not to waste his energy? Did he have a secret stash of hideous cushions stowed under his bed or something? He decided the symbols either rounded out to 'What are you gonna do, beat me up?' or ' Don't you have better things to spend energy on?' and either one of these sounded believable. Masato was scowling as he sent back an emoji of a gravestone and a question mark, as if to ask whether Izou had a deathwish. He had half a mind to shave off his eyebrows. |
| Zoisite | Phone in his back pocket again, tray in hands, he comes out of the kitchen with a furrow between brows. Placing the servings carefully on the coffee table, he takes his seat next to her on the couch. "It's not lame. Tearing into someone is cathartic, especially after they hurt you. Hurt people hurt people, right?" It made sense to him, lashing out at what stings. It's why he spits fire, like cauterizing a wound. Keep it from bleeding more. "I would do the same, really." Has done, several times. Again and again. It's easy. It's so easy. "For reasons far less severe, of course. Point being, I understood you being upset. I just didn't expect it to come the way it did from you." They had more in common than expected, really. It was endearing to him. Part of him also wanted to ask more about ''back then.'' When she was Sailor V, before becoming part of Sailor Moon's group. Because of course he'd assume that's what she was talking about, when Kazuo had explained where the first kiss came from. Anything else before that was a question mark in his mind when he couldn't even begin to dig his own out. Perhaps after they are over the stinging lumps first, as the questioning could cause more pain. Izou didn't want that for her, especially now that she was his friend. Especially now that she explained she didn't think of him as someone that would have been laughing at her in the background. And her hope made him smile, sharp edges smoothing out as he looked back at her. It reached his eyes. "Thank you. I'm... sorry it had to be this way." It's quiet. And he meant it. The moment was cut short by the buzz of his phone and the sharpness of his features return like needles while cursing under his breath. "Nephrite you--" He pulls out the device, glaring at it accusingly. "Gods, is he actually ''dying?!"'' Immediately sends exclamation marks, a pointing finger followed by a middle finger. "I think he's fighting Hiddenite and losing..." |
| Sailor Venus | When Izou joins her on the couch, Minako's expression softens a bit. There were commonalities between them after all, even if she was usually a bit more on the energetic heart-on-her-sleeve side of things. The apology of how things are earns a little 'meh' from her as she leans her weight to the side to let herself just sort of flop against his shoulder. Not quite a hug, but she's there and her presence is impossible to dismiss. "Some things just aren't meant to be. One day I'll find my 'fated one'," she sighs dreamily--Or is she just being melodramatic? Either way there's some hint of truth to her belief that she'll find someone, someday. "Besides, I've got other things to worry about now that are more important." The BMC. Small Lady. Whatever was murdering Neph as Izou pulls out his phone again causing her eyebrows to rise. "And he can text the entire time? No wonder he's losing." |
| Nephrite | He had absolutely no idea what the last texte could possibly be besides a variation of 'up yours', and Masato did not even bother to respond. He grit his teeth. "Rat bastard." |
| Zoisite | Izou feels her weight against him and it was a surprisingly comforting thing, appreciating it more than he could've imagined. In response, he does lean back against her, seeking more of that contact while eyes were firm on his phone. No incoming response from Nephrite. He gave it a couple of second before his frown knotted to a worrying degree. "No wonder indeed... Should we go help him?" Green eyes glances over to Minako. "I can teleport us. But he'll owe us one if we save him, yeah?" |
| Sailor Venus | It was cozy. Moreso than she would admit out loud perhaps, but for the moment, she just enjoys that closeness. It had been awhile since she'd had a relaxing night with friends, with everythign going on. Even if Izou wasn't the usual batch of friends... It still counted. The silence from the phone earns a small frown of her own as she considers the possibility that he might be in danger. "I don't know. Would he be upset if we helped? I know some guys get all upset about that." Not that it ever really stopped her. "Plus Danburite is such a noodle of a guy. I'd think Masato could break him easy... Well. Then again if he was distracted that doesn't matter much." Siiiigh. "Here, text him again." A pause, as she considers. "Blowing up emoji, fire emoji, question mark. If we need to put out the fire for him." |
| Zoisite | As she suggests emojis, he types them into the phone, pressing send when done. With a sigh, he hopes that Nephrite will answer soon. The last thing he wanted was to be too worried about that man when he literally wanted to his new friend on how to do odangos. "Hm... No, he wouldn't be the type to be angry if we offered help. Not like that." Shakes his head. "Maybe he's messing with us. And your message should be very clear to him that we're here to help if he needs it." With a nod and another glance towards Minako, he offers. "Maybe wait a little bit? Give him a chance to reply?" |
| Sailor Venus | "Well that's good at least, if we do need to go help," Minako agrees with a solemn nod as she considers the situation. Really, if he was texting to begin with he couldn't have been in that much danger. That was just basic logic. Right? Right. A light reassuring pat is given to Izou's knee without thinking. "If we need to we can, but give him a chance first. We're not sure where he is... wait." Curious, she tips her head back to peer at Izou. "I know you can teleport but can you teleport to people instead of just places?" How their powers worked wasn't really something she'd considered before. "I know you can tell where Mamoru-kun is with your connection." Maybe it worked for all the Shittenou. |
| Zoisite | He didn't mind the pat, taking it as a friendly gesture of hers. "Oh, uh..." Head tilted to the side, rerouting his mind to focus on his powers instead. One thing was to use it, another was to explain it. "I can teleport where the Shitennou are, and places I've been. I believe this will include Small Lady as well, as she is Mamoru's alternative life daughter, so she carries some of his energy." As he thinks about it, his head leans on hers in a playful bump. "Why do you ask? Wondering if I'd be able to randomly locate him out of the blue by teleporting?" |
| Nephrite | Shortly enough, a prismatic display of nebulous matter shimmered into being, dotted with the images of stars. Nephrite appeared within these miniature constellations, for a moment a full vision of himself in cape and uniform, hair gently flowing. Then, at once, all of it glittered away, and he was only the very stylish Masato with a plastic bag of hot food. His frown, though, was evident. A hand settled on hip, but his eyes were firmly closed. "Whatever the hell is going on in here, it better not be when I open my eyes, Zoisite." Sapphires did open after a beat, and in no world was he prepared for the sight he took in. He stared at them as if squinting at an upsetting mirage. |
| Sailor Venus | Minako Aino would nod but there's a head atop hers right now and her gaze was fixed on the phone that they were waiting for a potential response from. Just in case they were needed. A soft 'mmhmm' comes as response instead. "That makes sense. I was just wondering how we would get there if we need to help." There's no more time to consider how powers work because another set of powers was at play. At first she blinks wide seeing the stars floating in her vision. For the briefest of moments she's not entirely sure if it's her vision that's grown starry for some reason, or if-- Ah, there he is. The blonde leader of the senshi just remains seated there looking at Masato innocently enough, if a bit confused, at talk of stopping what they were doing. A bright smile comes instead as she lifts her hand to offer a half-wave. "Welcome home! I brought cake if you want some?" |
| Zoisite | There he was indeed! His eyes lifted from his phone at the recognizable cascade of stardust and constellations, greens darting about as though he were deciding if this was the spirit of a dead man finally making an exit, or if this was in fact Nephrite teleporting in. It was the latter. When their eyes met, Izou was beside himself in confusion, quickly standing up from his seat after Minako greeted the Star Seer by offering cake. "How the bloody hell are you not injured?! Weren't you battling Hiddenite?!" He was almost offended, like a spouse that had been lied to. "Me and Mina-chan were about to aid you had you not replied soon! ''Gods,'' Masato!" Cheeks were softly pink from his frustrations, quickly inhaling then before noting the bag of hot food. An exhale followed. "Thank you for bringing dinner. I did save you a piece of the cake Mina-chan brought. I also made us tea." |
| Nephrite | *That* is not Kunzite. To his horror, that is Sailor Venus on his couch, with Zoisite. Canoodling, is the polite word, is it not? He thanks every star above that they are clothed, at the very least. Cake. Tea. Briberies. Hiddenite-- what, is that the lie he's supposed to tell on Zoisite's behalf, their great alibi? What a song and dance. It's almost impressive; the gall of it. Zoisite's pettiness is known, but Minako's gains a brand new plateau in his mind, with which he is begrudging impressed. "Seems I'm not the only one who decided to skip out on the white-haired middle-man in this situation. Hm?" His smile is terse, unfriendly, and his brows rise. His eyes accuse. |
| Sailor Venus | Minako Aino doesn't get to her feet when Zoisite springs up to greet Masato in such a manner because she's far too busy watching their interaction with a quiet sort of amusement. This, she imagines, was how siblings must act. That's kind of how it was in the movies at least. It was just something she'd never actually seen in real life in any form, especially since she had no siblings herself. She does scoot forward to the edge of the couch cushion uncrossing her legs from where they were tucked beneath her so she can sit properly with feet on the floor. Izou had made a good point, he was remarkably uninjured. "Did Hiddenite--" she begins only to falter looking perplexed, confused, at the mention of 'cutting out the white haired middle man.' "I guess that means you won! Good job!" Was that cheesey? That was cheesey, Mina. "I don't trust that guy at all." Hiddenite she means. A glance is cast toward Izou as she casually remarks, "Now that Masato-san is here, should we get started?" |
| Zoisite | Masato's comment was greeted with a confused frown that deepened only slightly as he considered what it was that this could have meant. But as Minako addressed, it was more than likely a victory instead of a defeat. Which... ''Huh.'' Perhaps that made some strange sense. A huff, eyes rolling at Masato's expression. "Don't look so offended, we were just worried about you. But you did good in defeating him. He deserved it anyway." A hand waved, dismissively. Gaze returned downward to Minako then, sharp edges gone once again as he smiled at her. "Yeah, that sounds like a good idea. We can have dinner after we're done. The first time is always exhausting, but then it gets better." |
| Nephrite | Gods, it wasn't enough that Minako was clearly seeking vengeance for Kunzite's rebuffing her by seducing his boyfriend. This scorned Goddess of Love was after the whole set to twist the knife, minus Hiddenite (even she could smell the lies on that cretin's breath). Gods, at least she wouldn't get far with Tamaki-- "Now, hold on," He raised his free hand as if to keep them physically back, "I understand wanting to take a swipe at the bastard-- but you two should know, certain lines can't be uncrossed, here." Sapphire eyes flit between them sharply, and he appealed to Zoisite. "Beauty is beauty, Zoisite, I'm not entirely immune to it myself. But surely he deserved better than this treachery?" A snort left him as he glanced to Minako, "Hells, maybe I'll ask him out on a date, myself-- Gods know everybody else seems to be doing it. I want to know what all the fuss is about. This is ridiculous?" |
| Sailor Venus | Minako Aino nods in solemn agreement with Izou's remark of eating after. "We both do have a lot to handle," she admits. Such a simple response is mixed with her hand lifting to her hair to undo her bow. The ribbon is pulled free allowing the length of her hair to fall down around her shoulders freely. The bow is draped on the coffee table in exchange for a small, cutely decorated toiletry bag she plucks up to begin unzipping "I brought everything we should need, plus extras." Just *what* was she suggesting? For that matter, what was Masato suggesting? "Wait, you want to ask Hiddenite out?" Betrayal? It's her turn for her eyes to narrow, and she skeptically regards Masato. "I thought you liked Mako-chan?" Just a huff of breath is let out as she starts to feel that this man is perhaps not worthy of her friend in the least. Hmph. Indignant, she reaches into the pouch to pull out-- A hairbrush. And some hair ties. "Who's betraying who here!?" |
| Zoisite | Minako's confusion was not felt alone. Izou was equally questioning what Masato was even implying, his mind unable to even begin to piece together what message even was. But one thing was absolutely certain with no shadow of doubt: He would never ask Hiddenite out. "Are you drunk?" Was the first thing out of his mouth, eyes wide before crossing his arms. "In what world--Firstly, I am happily taken by Kazuo. No lying wanna-be will ever take his place. Secondly, why in the name of Gods would you ''ever'' consider asking Hiddenite out?!" And Izou gestures to Minako, echoing her statement. "Not long ago you seemed interested in talking to Kino-san. What changed? Don't tell me that bastard man seduced you even since you stabbed him?! ''Ugh.."'' Eyes closed, shaking his head. "Something is utterly wrong with you if that was the case, Nephrite." And with a gentle flick of intention, his civil clothes were replaced by his uniform circled by gentle petal like fires, only for a snap of fingers to follow and his entire figure be circled by cherry blossoms. As they fell away, Zoisite was nothing more than a casual looking ''Usagi'' with baggy pajama pants and shirt, loose blonde hair and an arched eyebrow on her face. "Anyway, I'm not getting in the middle of this. Mina-chan knows Kino-san better than me and can easily smack you. I'll go get the restroom ready with the hair silk oil and pins for our hairs. I'll do mine slow so you can learn how to do the odangos. I think the main problem you're having is that the tips of your hair curl, so we want to prevent that with some products, yeah?" ''Usagi'' reassures Minako before stepping around the couch and making a pointed gesture at Masato. "I'll eat your piece of cake if you really ask Hiddenite out. Lecherous boar." And walks off for the moment. |
| Nephrite | "I *do* like her, but what does that have to do with you?" Standing now with a blank, incredulous look frozen onto his features, Masato's hand turns up as if to silently as the universe for an explanation to whatever has occured. He looks as if he has become a statue, frozen by the look sent by Venus and chipped at by the horryifying fantasy that Zoisite seemed to be entertaining about him. He issues after Zoisite. "And I was *talking* about Kunzite--" He throws the hand up to shoo it away. No. That doesn't make enough sense of things. "Did I skip into another dimension? What is this? A scene? Don't you bring Makoto-san into this--" Sapphire eyes turn to Minako now and he points at her, hesitantly trying to make his way through this confusion. "... You're not seducing Zoisite to get revenge on Kunzite?" |
| Sailor Venus | Minako Aino turns toward Izou when he henshins into his faux-Sagi form and for just a moment her smile returns. The explanation of hair issues that he begins with earns a quick nod, and she reaches back to comb fingers through her now-loose hair. "It does have that issue but I never really have had the problem when I just tie it back." It had to be the darn odangos making it curl. Alas. A few steps are taken intending to follow after, but she instantly freezes in place at Masato's words. Snapping her head around toward him she blurts out, "What it has to do with me what? Mako-chan is my *friend* of course I'm--" Wait. The rest of what he said is slowly clicked into place as she finds herself just staring at him mouth half-agape. Kunzite. This was about Kunzite, and Izou, and thinking she was-- "What?" The word is whispered out with a mix of emotions warring over her face as her blue eyes turn dark, and stormy. Anger was there, indignation, but also hurt. Insult. And she can't even look properly ticked off because of the rush of heat to her face that leaves her blushing almost as red as her bow. Fists clench at her sides while a single deep breath is taken seeking to try and cool the embarassed anger rising up inside her. It doesn't quite work, but she somehow manages not to outright yell, either. "I'd be a real crappy person if I wanted to hurt someone I care about! And for your information, I've only kissed two people in my life! I don't go around seducing people or-or...!" Or whatever worse thing he was suggesting. "Why would I want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with me!? That's such a waste of time!" It hurt, too, but she wasn't going to admit that. "I'm Usagi-chan's body double but I can never get her hair right so Izou was going to show me how to do it properly!" |
