Owner Pose
Veronica Perenna "I wouldn't put too much stock on fellows like him", Veronica scoffs at the now unconscious man. "They are all too great at surrounding themselves with symbols of elegance, while they don't own an ounce of it."

She came prepared for this moment, and a phone makes its way in her hand, and she places briefly the painting on the ground, holding it up with one hand on the upper frame while she kneels next to the unconscious man. "Just some proof for the newspapers." Along with another photo she will take later.

"That I will, but I don't think you would actually need my help", the Princess of Sarek smiles to Amy, starting to move out of the mansion. "After all, you know the next location as well as I. It's the Magic in the Making exhibit, and we are about to bring part of its magic back", she looks at the painting she is still holding.

"Quite weird, this painting: is it supposed to be authentic, or just a flight of fancy?", she muses, the fresh night's air embracing the group while Veronica goes first, jumping towards the Pikarigaoka Museum.

That cat is indeed like the one in Hallward's "Évanescence", but what's the significance of them meeting a spider? "Do you know anything about the spoils of our caper?", she asks Yorotsuchi on the way.

The Pikarigaoka Art Museum isn't all that distant, just a few minutes for a group of mahous in henshin, and before long the silent building looms above them. "Our last task for the night, everyone. We just need to reach the third floor and swap the paintings. Are you ready?"
Ahmya Karashima Goldenweb Yorotsuchi calmly pulls her sash back over her eye, now that there wasn't the need for it to be uncovered. ... And then once the pictures are taken as such, proceeds to bandage up the rich guy. Look she felt EVER so slightly bad for him. He'll be fine though, she's sure! He /did/ have magic.

...She does imbue those bandages with purification, which might make them less pleasing for him but it's probably fine! "It's definitely an interesting painting, that spider does look moderately like Auntie Rachne." Yorotsuchi comments off-handedly. "I don't know really anything about that painting though... but I can believe that she would be in an old painting, she is kind of just around as a spirit, I don't know why she'd let a random person paint her... maybe really nice flattery or something?" She muses out loud.

And then they were off towards the art museum, while Yorotsuchi was feeling a bit hungry... but it's fine. "Right, the third floor and swap the paintings. Sounds simple enough..." She flicks her hands towards one of those third floor windows, a golden thread launching out towards the edges of it which she pulls herself along on, peeking along the edges of that window to check for alarms, before calmly starting to open it.
Laisa Samuiko     Laisa Samuiko hasn't seen the exhibit yet, but she ''wants'' to. She saw the Shed and was curious about whether or not she'd find anything Curse related. Sadly it's a little late to be visiting the museum.

    Or is it?

To most, the magicals traveling to the museum would simply go unnoticed, but the fate of mahoujin runs on coincidence. Laisa looks up just in time to see the others gathering nearby and, because of the hour, it really doesn't take very long for her to find a quiet place to henshin.

Moments later, Snow Angel Mou Fubuki is walking towards Veronica and the group around her, waving but not calling out. She gets the feeling that whatever is happening her is Top Secret, so the last thing she wants to do is make noise. It's only when she gets close does she speak in low volume. "Hey. Grats on not being a cat. What's up?"

Oh. Huh. So this is a break in. Which would normally be bad, but... if ''this'' group is doing a break in on ''that'' exhibit, there's probably a good reason, right
Amy Faust     Amy nods at Veronica in understanding of the man's type. "There's a lot of people like that." And then looks surprised. "They'll be able to see a picture of you in henshin? ...The veil if ''definitely'' more complex than we've been thinking.

We're going to the museum! "Oh, right." Amy feels a bit silly for not remembering that.

Once they reach the museum, she nods at Veronica's question. "As I'll ever be. How are you getting us in? ...Have you snuck something ''into'' the museum before? Has there ever been a problem, it sounds like it should be pretty straightforward."
Hinata Muramasa     Hinata ensures her blades are sheathed, and gently pats her familiar as he shrinks back down since the battle was over. She follows silently, keeping somewhere in the middle of the group so she can move to support any of them... should something happen. She's hopping along in pace with the others easily enough, and comes up beside the Princess of Sarek once they arrive. "Third floor... Understood. Are we expecting resistance?" she asks curtly.

She seems to consider something, watching Yorotsuchi flick one of those threads up to the window. She summons a gohei wand, and with a flick of the wrist, tosses a few ofuda slips onto the thread. Inscribed on them are the symbols reading 'Strength'. Reinforcing the threads just a little bit more.
Usagi Tsukino Sailor Moon had been on a patrol - she definitely wasn't planning on breaking into the museum, because Mamoru would probably be super hurt if she did crimes without him. And also she can't really justify a ''regular crime''.

...But when she sees a group of her friends staring intensely at the museum, in henshin, with all the focus of cartoon robbers... Well, she starts to get an idea of how things are going to go. She leaps down to join them, stretching her arms up to get a little more limber.

"So are you guys breaking in for a justice thing, or is this like, a plot twist where it turns out you want to make it big by ransoming ancient artifacts...?"
Veronica Perenna "A snow angel in this fresh night, what a lovely coincidence", Veronica bows towards Mou Fubuki. "Thank you very much for helping defend the cafè. We are about to remove a fake and put the original back", she explains. "Some rich jerk did the opposite trade."

And then they are joined by Sailor Moon as well, and the cat thief limits herself to a more normal wave this time. "We are about to replace an original with a fake", she smiles. "Of course, the original is the one we have here, and the fake is in the museum", she unveils the whole situation to the soldier of the moon.

"We defeated the guy that stole it first", the Princess of Sarek produces the photo for Sailor Moon to see. "This, and a photo of the two paintings, are going to a local newspaper."

"We can simply jump, shouldn't be too hard", Veronica tells Amy, pointing at a window that gives into the third floor. "I will move through the wall and open that one. And the Veil only stops magical things from looking like the real deal, and from seeing past identities. The most it will do is make people think the cat ears and tail are cosplay accessories."

Of course, webs are a cool accessory power. "Nice shot, Yorotsuchi", she claps quietly, and then considers the spider girl's words. "Auntie Rachne, is that Hachi's aunt?", the Princess of Sarek hums, following after her with the old fashioned leap.

Disappearing through the wall, she reappears inside and pushes the window open quietly. For a second she looks left and right in the hallway, and her ears perk up warily. "Alright, the coast is clear", the moonlit thief hops in, holding the window open for the others.

Inside the museum, several paintings and statues are lit by the moonlight peeking in from outside, and the Phantom Thief turns right, their prize in the vicinity. "We shouldn't meet resistance, but you can never go wrong with keeping your guard up", she tells the Shadow Shogun.
Ahmya Karashima Ooh, magical enhancements to the thread! Not that it needed it, but it was still interesting to examine those ofuda slips as she went; she used her own so it made sense! She does opt to expand those threads and make them into a proper bridge-ish for the others as they go. "Oh we're acutally anti-thiefing them. There's a fake in the museum right now so we got the real one back from a rich person who had it and so like we technically already did the 'beat up the owner and steal it' part. But the owner had dark energy and stuff so it's..."

Pause.

"Are we the bad guys right now?"

"Uhm. Hachi is probably her daughter, she just insisted i call her Auntie Rachne. It's a story probably best gone more deeply into at a less we're-about-to-do-a-reverse-heist-which-from-what-the-rich-guy-said-might-go-horribly-wrong kind of situation."

Soon, there was a good proper little web rope-ladder for the less flight and climbing inclined. Nice and extra sturdy thanks to the Shadow Shogun's enhancements to it, along with the natural strength of Yorotsuchi's own webbing. And she was through the window.

"I feel like we should have spy music playing in the background right now."
Hinata Muramasa     The two newcomers get a look from the Shadow Shogun. A curt little bow to each, then she's climbing the web-ladder, since she can Jump Good, but isn't exactly going to be climbing walls, nor can she fly. She dismisses the gohei wand before starting her climb, and reaches the window swiftly enough. In the narrower corridors, she can't use her swords, so instead resummons the gohei and pulls a few Bind slips into her other hand... Just in case something happens...

At Yorotsuchi's suggestion, she blinks. "I could bring out my flute and play something." she offers dourly... this may not be a good idea if they're trying to be sneaky though.
Usagi Tsukino Replacing a fake painting with the original, and the guy who'd secretly had the original was already defeated? Ha! Sailor Moon ''knew'' her friends were out there, ensuring justice was served!

She'd been about 80% sure, anyway.

"Nice! Awesome, that's a great thing to do... I'm not sure how much I can help, though," RHer powerset is not, particularly, what one would call stealth, except that - "Oh, right, I've got something useful! I'll help too!"

As Veronica disappears through the wall to help with the window and Goldenweb Yorutsuchi webs herself ''to'' said window, Sailor Moon digs out her trusty Disguise Pen from her extra space pocket. It's an actual, literal pen, a lovely shade of pink with gold-detailing, the pen cap in the shape of a golden crown with a large faceted red jewel inside. Holding it up, she calls out the transformation command.

"Moon Power, turn me into a guard for the Art Museum at Penguin Park!"

In an instant, Sailor Moon is replaced by an older-looking woman, her reddish brown hair in a chin-length bob with no odango, her fuku replaced by an ordinary looking guards uniform, complete with security badge, walkie-talkie for communications, and an official looking name tag and flashlight. When the mahoujin, who ''know'' this is Sailor Moon look at her, their vision sort of flickers - it's like sometimes they see Sailor Moon, dressed as a guard, and sometimes they see that older-looking woman.

Thusly disguised, she leaps across to the opened window, making use of the enhanced rope ladder as well.

"I think we should avoid any music," she says seriously. "I can walk a little ahead of you all, and keep a look out, or stay at the back, and ''also'' keep a look out, in case anyone like, is coming around behind us."
Laisa Samuiko     Mou looks back to Sailor Moon, then back at the group. "I mean. I don't know. I'm not ''that'' hard up." Then when the Princess of Sarek explains herself, the snow angel snappoints at her and says, "Ah! There it is. Righting a wrong."

To Goldenweb she shrugs and says, "If that's the case, then let's be bad guys for a night."

Sailor Moon also gets a respectful nod. That pen is... actually kind of cool.

The window is opened, and since Mou's magic wouldn't really help here, she just leaps onto the reinforced thread bridge and then leaps again up to the window. Slipping further in, she turns to wait for others to go through. She follows after Sarek and forms a small ice cube in her hand, holding on to it just in case she needs a sudden burst of magic.

"We don't need music," she whispers, and even though she's whispering the other mahoujin can hear it on the wind regardless of distance. "We do need to be on our guard, though."
Amy Faust     Magical Rocket Girl Red waves to Snow Angel and Sailor Moon, "Hi! Why would we ransom artifacts?" She looks thoughtful. "Ooh. We could give the money to the needy. But then we should ransom rich private collectors, not a public museum."

When she sees Usagi pull out the disguise pen, she knows what's coming, but is ''surprised'' at how specific Usagi can make the command, and follows. Not expecting trouble beyond possibly running into a guard.
Veronica Perenna "Disguises are just the best, aren't they?", Veronica comments when Sailor Moon changes in the museum guard. She doesn't follow her example though, with her aim just a few meters away. A guard trying to move paintings around would be suspicious. "What would you think of acting like you were here to deal with me already if a guard shows up?" she proposes, taking several steps closer.

"Definitely later, who knows if this is an important piece of the Fade", the Princess of Sarek agrees with Yorotsuchi. And getting more news about what happened to the Sarek fairy would be excellent. "I wouldn't be recommending music either."

Too many, in fact. For those walking alongside Veronica, they will be able to see that the hallway seems to stretch, and even running, only makes it stretch even more. Veronica's brows furrows. They really aren't alone then. She doubts the museum has guards doing this. Not when everything had been normal earlier.

Before they can do anything about it, the other end of the corridor shines with distant dark red spots, and those lights get ever close, revealing themself to be modelled after swords and axes, flying at them with an aura of dark energy everyone will be able to recognise instantly.
Hinata Muramasa     The Shadow Shogun is on alert... after the surprise with the rich guy she's flicking her ofuda to intercept the incoming weapons, the 'Bind' sigils activating on impact to slow down the flying attacks. The binding seals aren't very strong on their own, but it might help some of the others to dodge the blows better. "It is never easy, is it?" she asks dourly, tossing the gohei aside, and making to draw her swords instead.
Ahmya Karashima The soft ~clack~ of Yorotsuchi's geta can be heard echoing through the halls once she steps into the museum. She's not particularly stealthy, in spite of being spider themed. "Oh of course, it's not /actually/ a good idea." ~clack~.

Pause.

She steps out of her geta, which disappear into golden motes of light. No need to give some poor guard a heart attack from the eerie sound echoing through the museum in the middle of the night. It's fine. Don't mind Hachi on the ceiling, she's just quietly doing her thing. If that's the case, then let's be bad guys for a night. Huuuh. That's not a response she thought she'd hear.

Eh it's probably fine.

She waits briefly for everyone else to get in, before dismissing the ladder, which disintegrates into motes of golden light that float away into the evening sky before gradually winking out.

"Oh, no, more. Just, you know, right time, right place. Unlikely to be related to the .. Fade? Maybe more information from Auntie Rachne would be helpful than anything I could say." She pauses, looking around. "Hm. Stealth might be a bit ... moot, now, it seems." She says absently as the corridor seems... Wrong. Stretching and weird, she starts to build ofuda of her own, imbuing them with purifying power which she starts to affix to various places on the walls as they move -- until

There were suddenly swords and axes shooting towards them. "Watch out!" She calls out, drawing her odachi as golden threads flow through the air, which rapidly builds up webbing in between them, flung out to cover the four corners of the room and spreading over it, with runes stating 'HARDEN' on them, and while not having enough time to COMPLETELY stop the attacks... it would be enough to slow them most likely.

Soon she's beginning to rapidly weave more webbing between her hands, as that first defensive web disintegrates into golden motes. "Well, the rich guy wasn't wrong it seems! ... Even if he was rude, assuming my eyepatch wasn't legitimately for a good reason!"

Yeah she's not letting that go.
Amy Faust     Amy briefly considers trying to use her own cosplay powers for disguise, but a guard looks a lot like a cop so her heart's not in it.

And then space gets weird. "...I didn't feel us enter a labyrinth. Who's doing that?" Amy looks around, not yet sure what strategy to use to try and get out of this.

"What are those...? ...Incoming!" Well, at least things flying straight at her from a distance are easy to dodge... she fires mini-missiles to try and intercept them, ready to jump out of the way if that doesn't work. "Who's doing this? Come on, don't you want to brag about your control over reality?!"
Laisa Samuiko     Mou Fubuki isn't really the phantom thief type, but she ''is'' the magical combat type. Only... it would be kinda bad if suddenly she had to extensively use her ice powers among all this priceless art.

It's while she's thinking about that when she notices that the hallway just never really... stops. She's walking, but not going anywhere. "I feel like I've seen something like this in Dark Souls or Mario 64..." she mutters.

When she looks into the distance and ''feels'' the dark energy aura, she gulps and immediately raises the hand that was holding the ice cube. From the stored cold magic she forms a frosty riot shield tall enough to cover her entire form, and she ducks behind it as several red weapons impact into it. Each it shatters and cracks the ice, but more chilly magic moves in to reinforce the continuously cracking shield.

The axes are especially dangerous, actually hacking their way through the shield with a single impact. Looking nervously at the dark red weapons stuck to her frigid barrier, Mou is silently grateful for the measures that others took to slow them down.
Usagi Tsukino "I probably don't use this pen as often as I could," Sailor Moon admits cheerfully, "But disguises really ''are'' cool. And yeah, that's a great idea! I can be on the scene to stop anyone else from deciding to try and deal with this."

A rapid nod, like she's a bobble head, and then Guard Moon strides purposefully across the floor, like someone walking around for their patrol.

...But then the wall start stretching. And everything starts getting weird, and - "I don't think it's a labyrinth... but who knows if it's real - wah!"

This, as Guard Moon rather ungracefully dives for the ground, away from the flying weapons.

"Oh man - everyone, be careful! We don't know if we're still in the real museum, we could end up messing up a lot of stuff! ...oh wait!"

She'd forgotten, what with the power being so ''new'', but she ''does'' have an option to protect this precious museum, doesn't she?

"Hold on everyone, things are about to get colorful!"

The compact at the center of Sailor Moon's front bow gleams with light in the darkness, silver spilling from the seams as the Soldier of Justice sheds her guard disguise in favor of focusing on her new power. Long twintails reform and twirl in a sudden wind, as she cups her hands and raises them high.

"Moon Space... Crystalize!"

The hallway still exists around them, but all the artifacts and paintings in this hall are now rectangular presents, stuck in place on the walls. The flooring is softened, like the padding of a yoga mat or a play place, and high above their heads, the ceiling has been replaced by a watercolor sky, in shades of violet to teal green. The stars in the sky are clearly decorations, rather than balls of light, and the Earth is painted into that sky with vivid color.
Veronica Perenna It really never is this easy. When the hallway starts stretching interminably, the Princess of Sarek's hand clings tighter to her cane, and she places her stolen painting aside. She is probably going to need both her arms for this. The moonlit thief still stands close to the painting. They certainly didn't bring it all the way over here just for it to be damaged.

A third layer of protection stretches over from wall to wall, a conical projection of pure white light originating from Veronica's cane. "Prismatic Wall!", the Princess of Sarek announces in a singsong tone, the moonlight solidifying and visually mixing in a bit with Mou Fubuki's ice layer.

A few of the weapons are cracked and slowed down to a stop by Puella Red's bullets, clattering against the ground despite being made of energy, and the rest find themselves caught and shattered by the triple layer of protection.

"I was doing just fine without bragging", a feminine voice speaks up from everywhere around them, even weirder directions like below them. The magical girls might get the feeling that their attacker is not part of the building, but is masking her location instead.

"I really don't care if you dealt with my contractor, so long as I can keep feeding to my heart's content, you...", the voice fades away in confusion when space starts shifting and everything looks a bit like they got sucked into a surrealist painting.

"Well, curse me, you can warp space too", and that's the last they will hear saying. Threads of red come towards Sailor Moon's raised hands, trying to ensnare them in that position. "Ever tried being part of your own world?", the voice mocks. The soldier of the moon will feel herself dragged towards the walls to be tied there if the first threads are successfull.

"Transient Lunar Beam!", Veronica shouts, spinning to her left, as the assault of weapons is renewed, but coming from everyone's left this time. Her moonstrike clashes against two halberds that fragment her wall of light, and breaks the two weapons, while a rain of arrows goes after Amy, leaving enough space for two katana to fly towards the Shogun.

Swords appear once more, some two-handed, some one-handed crashing through the ice and webs towards Mou Fubuki and Yorotsuchi.
Ahmya Karashima Alright, the worst of the attacks were mitigated, and others seemed to be doing well... and now they were in... a weird like... kind of nice soft yoga mat filled area and also the color is weird and ... huh. The Moon Space is definitely Different, weird but in a good way, she supposes!

And then a voice comes from ... everywhere around them, and red threads reach for Sailor Moon.

"Sailor Moon, look out!" She calls out, starting to move towards her to cut those threads -- only to be stopped by swords flying towards her, and having to deflect one, two... a third cuts past her and along her side, causing a soft 'Ghk!' of pain in response from her, but she pushes forward... as she she continues on that path towards those red threads, intent on moving to grab onto them and attach her own golden threads to them.

Along with a shockwave of golden energy, attempting to use those red threads to send a burst of energy back on the source of them!

"It'd be easier if you revealed yourself; if you don't, we might have to start resorting to bigger and bigger attacks, and I don't believe you can escape this place~." She calls out cheerfully.

Don't mind the fact she's already a bit injured from the earlier fight and now has a cut in the side of her kimono now. It doesn't seem to be slowing her down that much.

... Ow.
Amy Faust     Amy smiles at Sailor Moon commenting the disguise pen is cool, and then everything goes to heck, or at least, to stretchy-hall-flying-weapons-place.

After Amy's dived out of the way of some weapons, they're once again in Sailor Moon's Labyrier. Barrienth. Amy is starting to kinda wish she could do that. Without, you know, turning into a Witch first.

"Contractor?" Amy wonders where the voice is coming from. "Honestly, we're living in our own world all the time... hey! Let her go!" Not seeing anyone to ''shoot'', she frantically dodges arrows as she tries to make her way to Sailor Moon to help pull her free. "Can anyone tell where she is?? Moon, through your connection to your Labyrinth...?" She looks at her friend hopefully.
Laisa Samuiko     Mou Fubuki's barrier held, though she had to maintain it with gritted teeth. When the Moon Space crystalized around her, she felt a bit of relief. "Thanks," she says. "Now I can go all out."

She says that as if she isn't ''still'' on the back foot. When the weapons start coming in from the left, she has to turn her attention that way, too. Only now she can answer by sending a chilling wind through Moon's Barrier. Flakes of snow flurry through the air as Mou tries to slow the weapons down, covering several of them in solid ice in order to add more air drag.

"Where is she?" whispers Mou, and her words are once again heard by all upon the wind. "Is she invisible or hiding?"

Snow Angel Mou Fubuki raises her hands into the air and forces the wind and the snowfall to pick up, creating a blizzard in the area. Hopefully with enough snow, she can notice anyone who is invisible by noting where the snowflakes ''don't'' go.

"Sorry to those with bare legs."
Hinata Muramasa     There are others here more suited to shielding work.
Her swords aren't useful against a foe she can't get close to.

Hinata dismisses both.. and instead pulls her other Stance out.

She grasps at something and a shakuhachi flute appears in her hands. She closes her eyes, and brings it to her lips, beginning to play. The tune has power to it. A promise of success, and remembrance even in failure. As a samurai falls, a tree grows in their place.
Usagi Tsukino "I sure can," Sailor Moon calls, when that mysterious female voice notes that they can warp reality too. "And if you think we'll let you feed on innocent people - or awful ones, either - then you've got another thing coming!"

She would strike her standard pose, only, she's still learning just what all she needs to do to maintain Moon Space, and she's not risking it to strike a pose at an enemy she can't even see yet!

Of course, soon that doesn't even matter - threads of red come at her, and before she can dodge, have bound her hands in that praying posture. She struggles in vain, as the threads start dragging her towards the wall -

But honestly, at least she's keeping the barrier up!

"You stole that line from The Little Mermaid, and it was a lot cuter when she said it!"

Stuck to the wall, she wriggles about like a bug on a web. "Don't worry about me, Goldenweb! Oh - hi Amy-chan, thank you for your help -"

Is their combined efforts to pull enough to get her away from the threads?

"Um - I'm not sure! I've never really ''had'' to find someone here... let me try!"

Closing her eyes tight, the glow from Sailor Moon's compact strengthens as she tries to focus on the soft world around them, focusing on trying to sense the enemy. ''Can'' se feel out where the enemy is?
Veronica Perenna Sailor Moon will certainly be able to feel the presence of the hiding enemy, slithering sensations moving incredibly fast across the padded floor of her Moon Barrierinth, and she will be able to tell that the presence is heading straight towards her.

"You think I don't?", the voice sneers at Yorotsuchi. There is a really simple way for me to escape!" If something doesn't happen, she will be sucking the tied soldier of the moon for all the energy she is worth.

Unfortunately for her, something does happen and the magical threads she created prove her doom. Yorotsuchi's golden energy travels with ease through them, and the demon will get more energy than she would like, blasting her away from Sailor Moon.

"Think that's enough? I ha-ha-have...", her teeth start chattering when Mou Fubuki's snowflakes turn the Moon Space into a winter wonderland. "W-w-why t-the cold? N-no fair", she laments trying to mantain what warmth it can with her own magic, but failing to.

The snowflakes reveal the demon's serpentine figure hopelessly still and rendered completely helpless by the cold. "Many thanks, Mou Fubuki! I see where she is. Now let's see what she looks like!" Veronica smiles to the snow angel.

"One, two, three! Uncloaking Shimmers!", Veronica taps the padded ground, and that twinkling soft light moves in the direction the snow angel has provided her with, saving her a great deal of time.

Frozen still, her invisibility no more, the snake can only look at her enemies with powerless enmity. Meanwhile, the Shadow Shogun's music of victory protects her allies from that same cold, making it feel like a warm spring for them.
Hinata Muramasa     As one song finishes, another begins. A rousing ballad of triumph. Her fingers dance along the instrument as she plays, to boost the attacks of her allies, pouring as much of her own power into theirs.

Wave goodbye to the past, when hope and faith have grown so strong and sound.

Yo-Jim-Bo joins in too, pulling a tiny lute-like instrument out to add his own thread to the weave of music.
Amy Faust     Amy makes a mental note that maybe she should keep one of her multitools, or at least a knife, in her henshin's belt pouches so she can deal with things like this... assuming a nonmagical knife can even cut them. Oh wait, doesn't her first aid kit have scissors for cutting bandages? She'll use that if she couldn't just pull Moon free with mahou strength.

She hears a voice... under the floor?! She looks around as the cold, snowy wind blows, pulling her cloak tight around her -- until the enemy is revealed.

Amy's reaction is split-second -- she doesn't trust that the enemy will remain exposed. She turns, lifting her arms to firing position, and is suddenly holding a shoulder-fired recoilless rifle.

    '''C-CRACK!'''

The explosion of firing is followed immediately by the round exploding--

    "Augh!"

And also Amy tumbling forward to the floor, as she fired ''with her back to the wall'' and just caught herself and anyone standing too close to her in reflected backblast. Thank goodness they're henshined so that's more an annoyance than actual harm...
Laisa Samuiko     "Apologies for the cold, friends," whispers the winds that Mou Fubuki summons. "Hopefully the song will warm your spirits?"

When she is thanked, the Snow Angel smiles, but doesn't take her icey blue eyes off the enemy. "Of course, Princess."

With the enemy now revealed, Mou Fubuki lets the blizzard fall, though the exertion of her magic has created a large set of icey wings that sprout from her back, weighing her down. Mou is pinned by the drawback of her own magic for the moment, but it doesn't matter if the enemy can't fire back.

"I think that's enough from you. Let's end this so we can finish the job."

Holding her hands in front of her, clutching the air as if tightly holding an invisible ball, Snow Angel gathers magical purifying snow and frost in her hands which swirls around her hands coalesces into a single mass. Her heavy, flightless wings grow even more, stretching up into the air and dragging on the ground around her feet. "Snow Heart Solistice!" she shouts, unleashing a torrent of ice and snow at the serpentine enemy.

If she doesn't like the cold, she's going to ''hate'' this.
Ahmya Karashima "What is the point in allies if not to worry about each other, Sailor Moon? Also the threads are the best option for finding our quarry I feel like." Is the response from Goldenweb Yorotsuchi when told not to worry about her, the spider mahou flashing a grin towards Sailor Moon behind that golden veil.

Meanwhile, hey, they /were/ getting their ... uhm. Not quite spy music, but they /were/ getting music from the Shadow Shogun! Which felt rather pleasant in some ways, her one eye darting around as best as she can, while Hachi continued to search, herself.

And snow flakes fall around them, that reveals... a now-mostly-frozen lizard form. "No, it wasn't enough, just enough to trace where you came from." Yorotsuchi responds cheerfully. "Don't worry though. I don't enjoy causing suffering." And her Odachi shifted, as Hachi hops onto Goldenweb Yorotsuchi's shoulder.

[Sharpen]
[Heavy]
[Purification]
[Devour]
[Delay]
[Burst]

Energy gathers into that blade, as Goldenweb Yorotsuchi lifts the sash up off of her eye, a flash of golden energy running from it to Hachi, whose energy pulses back along her shoulder and down into the sword, each of those runes flashing with golden energy in a row.

"The Ever-Devouring Blade, WILLCUTTER!"

And Goldenweb Yorotsuchi dashes forward, her blade brought in an overhead swing towards the center of that lizard, the blade's edge glowing brightly as that blade is aimed through the center of that snake, her blade dragging along that yogamat-like ground, dragging through it.

And as it did, the 'devour' effect would happen, a bit of black energy from that demon likely coming away with the blade, sinking into it and flowing back in a pulse of energy from that sword, up through Goldenweb Yorotsuchi's arm... and up into Hachi.

... And she would turn away, starting to walk away.

As that delayed explosion of purification energy is unleashed.
Usagi Tsukino "Oh, oh she's ''coming'' right for us -" Sailor Moon yelps, as she absolutely gets a sense of the enemies location, and realizes that the threads are not just binding, but trying to tear away her energy. The threads fill with silver and pink energies, before the threads are cut, between Amy and Goldenweb Yorotsuchi's efforts.

Sailor Moon sinks to her knees, breathing in, and wincing as the air turns cold enough to see their breath -

But there's the enemy. And there's -

Whomp whomp, that's Sailor Moon getting the blow back with Amy, wincing, eyes practically spirals as she keeps the barrier up, while Mou Fubuki and Goldenweb Yorotsuchi demonstrate utmost Cool Mahoujin to the sweet stylings of Shadow Shogun's music.

"There's... no way she survived that, right?"
Veronica Perenna Filled with energy by the Shadow Shogun's song stance, Veronica snaps her fingers, feeling completely refreshed after these two fights in brief succession. "Let's close the curtains on this heist once and for all!", she cheerfully tosses her hat upwards.

"But first, let's give thanks where thanks are due. Sailor Moon for providing the venue, Shadow Shogun for the energising musical accompaniment, Goldenweb Yorotsuchi for introducing me to the meaning of this painting, Mou Fubuki for the rigorous beauty of winter, and Puella Red for the witty commentary throughout the show!"

Never touching the ground, the hat has already vanished, and the Phantom Thief taps the ground with her cane, and ripples of nonexistent water traverse the room. An illusionary full moon peeks from the fake water surface, bathing the entire room in its silver light.

"Moonlight Masquerade!", the Princess of Sarek smiles, her hat, now gigantic hat emerging with a rumble from the ground, passing through the snake and stealing her tail, bloodlessly disappearing as if it was never there, and purifying the demon's dark energy.

To make it worse for the snake, she finds herself tied like like salami by the many many webs of Yorotsuchi, and her methods turned against her, weakened and weighted down by the magic.

Immobilized in all possible ways, she can only watch the incoming cruelty of winter, filling her entirety with the cruel bite of the cold, and then burnt by the explosion caused by Puella Red, making both sensations much worse torture than they would be by themselves.

When the many attacks have run their course, not even dust is left of the poor snake, her last thoughts how it could be that things were going so well, and then ''this''. "Seems like we have done it, friends", Veronica smiles as her hat falls into her waiting hand and she places it atop her head fluidly.

"Now, all that is left is to put the painting back", she goes to recover it from where she has placed it once Sailor Moon lets the Moon Space vanish.
Usagi Tsukino As soon as the enemy is confirmed defeated, Sailor Moon bounces to her feet, and, with a flourish, drops Moon Space - causing them to once again stand in a completely normal museum hallway.

"You know, they leave the monster fight out in all the heist movies," she laughs, and then offers a hand to help Amy to her feet. "Thank you, Amy-chan! And you too, Goldenweb-chan, you were the best protectors I could ask for."
Ahmya Karashima The Odachi is lightly flicked to remove the remaining dust of the snake, and Goldenweb Yorotsuchi re-hangs that sword over her shoulders with a golden thread across her back as she moves over to stabilize Sailor Moon, her hand reaching to gently help her back to her feet. "There is not, no." She says, as she pulls that sash back down over her eye.

... Though Sailor Moon is almost immediately up before she can even help her. "My! And here you seemed more tired than that. Was it all an act to make the demon drop its defenses?" Heh~.

Webbing in the area disintegrates into golden motes of energy, save for that string that hangs over her shoulder. "Right. Shall we swap some paintings?" Pause, she looks bemusedly towards the Princess of Sarek. "...Are we going to be giving the old owner the fake?"
Amy Faust     The princess of Sarek names her. "You're welcome!" Amy cheerfully replies, and then Things Happen.

Oh no she knocked Sailor moon over too! "Sorry!" Her launcher's landed on the ground next to Amy.

Ahmya's purification blast goes off, Amy's cloak and hair billowing properly to add to the dramatic effect.

The snake is not even dust. "I don't leave bodies..." Amy croaks from the floor, before pushing herself up to her knees and turning to Sailor Moon to see the girl already up and offering a hand up, which she takes. "You, too." Amy answers immediately when thanked; After Sailor Moon speaks, she notes, "If you hadn't used your labyrinth who knows what other tricks the snake could have pulled on us... and you're welcome."

And ''then'' she realizes there was additional praise, and blushes a bit, looking away. "Uh, thanks..."
Laisa Samuiko     The monster is gone, her tail stolen, and after their combined assault there is nothing that remains. Mou Fubuki realizes that the Moon Space is likely to fall soon and so she gives her chilly powers a rest. She shakes her back a bit and tries to walk forward, prying the icy wings off her back and letting them shatter on the ground before the space fades.

Laisa reaches up to massage her own shoulders. That's... gonna ache a bit, she thinks.

Turning to Sailor Moon, she says, "Thanks. I don't know how I would've fought if you weren't here."

Then she looks at Amy and winces. "Oooh. Are you okay?" She watches as the Puella gets up on her own, and decides not to worry about it too much.

Glancing over to Veronica, she adds, "Guess we're about done here? Everything in order? We probably shouldn't stay longer than necessary."
Hinata Muramasa     Hinata's song concludes as the snake youma fades. She flourishes her flute, letting it dissipate into sakura petals as she releases it.

A bow is given to the others, but she says nothing, looking perhaps a little pensive to those who don't know her.
Veronica Perenna "It's a rare part of the spectacle", Veronica winks to Usagi, passing by on the way to the fake work of art." Typically, she doesn't encounter any magic, and her heists run their course without a single drop of magic, save for her disguises to gather information.

Holding up the real painting in front of the snake, Veronica snaps the picture she promised, and then the swap occurs. "Nah, that guy deserves nothing. I will bring this one to Sarek", Veronica replies to Yorotsuchi with a smirk.

"We are definitely done", Veronica tips her hat to Mou Fubuki in thanks for her contribution. "Pleased to have had you here today, and we can definitely go now", she remarks walking towards the window. "I will close it after all of you."
