Phantom The Valentine rush is on. With the shop inudated with orders, Philip has been working on the easier projects to make - the ''girl-choco'' obligation chocolates. Dressed in white with an apron and a white bandana with little candy designs all over on tied back around of his head, he is carefully pouring the melted chocolate into their moulds to harden.

Humming to himself as he works, he pauses on occassion to check on his work after filling it, before setting the pot aside to head over to the molds that have been cooling for a while to pop the chocolates out to set for placing in boxes later.
Chiyo Sakai Chiyo Sakai was still going back and forth to school quite often, though she had been staying the night at the shop more frequently due to the holiday. There was just so much the shop needed to have done. Between her, Philip, and Taro's help though it was far easier than prior years with just her and Ojiisan and the part-timer.

Her hair is swept back today to keep out of her face as she ducks into the shop heading immediately for the apron rack to get her own. As she does she glances over toward Philip regarding him with a warm smile at the sight of him in his shop attire.

"You look like you're really fitting in, Philip," she teases lightly as she pulls her apron on. "How are we doing on orders?"
Phantom Glancing up when he hears the bell of the shop, Philip was just about to say that the shop was closed before he realizes it's Chiyo. "You ojiisan said that this was the proper uniform for working in the shop." he states calmly, though in fact, it is the uniform - but a little to impress Chiyo.

And Ojiisan - because Philip wants to stay on his good side. He may be more intimidating than any Precure, in fact.

"We're closing the gap." he responds to her inquiry, leaning over to give her a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'd offer a sample, but these of ''acquaintance'' chocolates. And we're more than that." A small nod of his head as he places the mold onto the shelf to work it back into the rotation. "How have you been? Adjusting to your new situation and all?"
Chiyo Sakai Chiyo Sakai lets her arm sneak around his waist in a light hug when he moves to kiss her cheek. She doesn't keep him from his task though: This really was a busy time of year. "It looks good on you," she agrees with a solemn nod as she watches him work. Her gaze skims past him to regard the amount of chocolates there as she tallies things up in her head. "It helps to have some extra around in case of last minute purchases, too. If we can get ahead then we'll be fine."

"That's okay. March is for girls to get chocolate," she teases back with a grin. Although 'White Day' wasn't as much a push as Valentine's. Girls always wanted to give hints to their crushes, or felt obligated to give chocolates to friends, but the boys didn't always feel so diligent about it.

"It's going well! Sugata-kun wants me to learn kendo though. My weapon can turn into a hammer of course, which is helpful, but it's originally a Star Sword so that makes sense too. Plus there's always someone listening into my thoughts now. That's interesting."
Phantom There's a chuff of laughter from Philip. "I will have to make sure to spoil you properly for White Day, then." comes the response as he prepares to start pouring chocolates into a new mold. "Can you do me a favor and wash the one I just emptied? It should be dry by the time I get back to it."

"You know, I'm pretty good with a sword. Even if mine was shorter than a usual blade." He works on pouring the chocolate into place. "I can give you some pointers if you want them, but yes, I am used to seeing your hammer - I think you should employ what you're best at. Did the weapon of the mecha adjust to you as well?"

Then she brings up something listening to her thoughts, and for a moment, his cheeks show a hint of pink. "I will endeavor not to flirt with you as much, then." There's a teasing lit to his tone as he continues to set the chocolates.
Chiyo Sakai Chiyo Sakai smiles in amusement as she catches that little bit of his embarassment. The mold he requested she clean is picked up to do so though as she is fully capable of working and talking at the same time. "I don't think Reshbal really cares about that sort of thing. It's more interested in gossip and learning the truth of things it seems." Besides, right now it was busy chatting with the other cybodies so she could easily just ignore it.

"I asked him not to interrupt when I'm working anyway, unless it's important. There will be times it will be I'm sure." The thought is shrugged off for now while she rinses the mold from it's sudsy bath. "It would be nice to practice more though I guess. Sugata and Takuto are good teachers, but Takuto double-weilds so it's really different for me. Plus... To be honest, I never really learned how to fight to begin with. It would be good to know how for real."
Phantom "Then if you want help with practice - I did not lose my skill with the blade when I lost my powers." Philip responds as he finishes off another mold, and moves it to the side. Setting down the pot, he moves to refill it with the chocalte pellets to prepare for the next batch. "And it is a good idea for you to get combat training outside of in the field." With that, he'll agree with. "But if you feel you have enough teachers, I won't interfere. But I will let you practice with me, if you want."

But, now that he's thinking on it. "Reshbal is not the only one seeking the truth of things. There is an alien, from Etheria, that is looking into it now, as well. She asked me how my magic worked - and while I could not offer a demonstration, as it were?" He glances aside of Chiyo - for a moment, he might be wary - Peter Parker has a danger sense and if Philip was him, it would be screaming right now.

"I spoke with Oresky - he has offered to show how his mirroring skill works. It's not the same as mine, but it will at least help Entrapta perhaps get the gist of the mechanics of the magic."
Chiyo Sakai "I'm learning in general. All the help will be good. I'd love the help," Chiyo agrees with a warm smile flashed toward the redhead she'd grown to care for. "No powers needed there, either. This is just learning in general. They have bokkens to train with," she explains of the whole set up.

It's the rest she listens to with a slow nod here and there as she finishes her task of washing. The molds are set aside to dry on the racks as they were meant to, and she moves over to begin tidying up any areas on the work table that could use a touchup. "I've met her. She also talked to the Star Drivers about their powers before we left for the island." Her eyebrows draw together with a pensive expression as he continues though.

"Oresky? You still talk to him?" That seemed... Possibly problematic. "I see. Is it safe?"
Phantom "Oresky..." Philip considers, and takes off his gloves for a momentto reach up and rub his eyes. "He keeps wanting advice on how to be a better General. And he gives me insight to what's happening within Mirage. So it's a bit of give and take." There's a shrug of his shoulders.

"It'll be fine. A quick demonstration of his powers. Mirroring can be broken pretty easily if done right. And he knows what he's doing." A shrug of his shoulder. "I'd rather have his help than Namakelder - who would be too lazy to help, or Hosshiwa - who would take it too far."
Chiyo Sakai Chiyo Sakai draws a deep breath which she holds in her chest a few moments. It's let out slowly with a nod. "... I can see how that might help a bit, then. Just be careful. If he ever actually does learn how to be better he might be dangerous."

Then he has to mention Hosshiwa. THAT name gets a dour glare from her. "Yes let's keep her well away from anything to do with either of us. I wanted to hit her so hard." Still did in many ways.

She steps closer to Philip to lean against his side a moment in a half-hug. "Just be careful. Do you want me there, just in case?"
Phantom "Eh, he's self-absorbed and well-meaning. It's a terrible combonation for a leader." Philip replies with a small smirk of amusement. "But yes, I'll keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't get too overzealous."

But then the conversation turns to Hosshira and he grins. "My. Are you worried?" he asks her teasing tone, but when Chiyo moves in for the half-hug, he turns to press against her in a full-on hug.

"I don't mind you being there. I'd appreciate the company. And I promise, I'll be careful."
Chiyo Sakai "She's *so full of herself*," Chiyo gushes out with sheer annoyance. "Even before she knew who I really was. Ugh. Called me 'candy girl' all the time." The little grumbling about the other girl grows muffled as she leans in against Philip into the hug.

There were more important things to concern her right now after all. "All right then. When are you meeting? I'll be there. And just in case anything goes wrong at least I can do something now." Though only a few knew that at this point. That could prove useful.
Phantom "Welllll..." Philip clears his throat. "You are pretty sweet. And your kisses *do* taste a little like candy." the young man admits as he presses his lips against her forehead in affection.

With that, he shares the information on where he plans to meet with Oresky and Entrapta. "I'm sure nothing is going to go wrong. But I'll be glad to have you there. Just in case."
Chiyo Sakai Chiyo Sakai pouts in response to the teasing. It doesn't last long as she breaks into a grin again, and gives a tighter squeeze to the hug fondly. "I guess I can accept that from you. I'll be there, too. Even if it's not any issue..." She might not say it but she WOULD worry. Who wouldn't?

Reluctantly she lets go with a sigh, pausing only to give him a quick peck before pulling away. "Come on. Let's knock out these orders and maybe get some free time to ourselves."
Phantom "Yes, a chance to sample your wares... I will totally accept the extra help." Philip grins in amusement. "Plus, your pout is too cute." More teasing. There's a momentary thought. Because she keeps saying ''just in case''.

"If ''something'' does happen... I know you'll bring me back." he says to her in quiet honesty. Letting her go so that they can return to the chocolates, he meets her eyes for a moment.

"I believe in you."
