Takashi Agera                 EARLIER TODAY

Anywhere other than Obsidian, the sight of a frantic blue crab-man scuttling across the floor of an office building would have been causee for alarm and maybe wondering what you'd eaten today. For Obsidian, it was an average friday. Chongire, Servant of the Witch of Delays, was exactly that - a humanoid crab in blue tone with a red scarf around his neck. He skittered into the break room and looked around - and saw one Riventon, leaning up against a counter.

Riventon was waiting for something to cook in the microwave, and was halfway through eating a sandwich positively piled with ham. Food from home - the safest food in the Tower was food that came from somewhere else.

Chongire skittered over to Riventon. "Ah, Riventon-san. Good, I need your help!" The crab-man said. "I have a problem and I need someone I can trust to help with it."

Riventon's eyebrow quirked. "Someone you can trust? Well, I suppose I can help depending on what the problem is." he says.

Chongire exhaled. "It's simple. I have agreed to do two things at once! And I cannot do them both together!" he says. "And one of those things, the easy one, is something I would like to ask your help with. It is my turn today to keep an eye on Elda-chan. But I cannot do that and also do the other very important thing I must do." he says. "I was hoping you might help me out. I need someone I can trust... to not harm Elda-chan or turn her into a monster or something." he says. "Usually should we stay in her room but I told her we would go out to play and... if you will help me, I will pay you back." he says. "I will make you a most ''delicious'' fish soup!" he proclaims.

Riventon sighs. "Elda-chan, the little shrimp girl? You just want me to take her out to play... so babysit her?" he asks, tilting his head.

"Well, mostly, yes." chongire confirms. "And you can do this with a Layabout - she can drain motivation power, and have fun, and I will not have to be in two places at once!" Congrei states. "Please! I will make you the best fish soup." he repeats, the crab-man pushing his pincers together as a person might push their palms together to plead.

Riventon sighed, looked at chongire, and his ham sandwich. "Well, don't make the soup for me, make it for Catra. Maybe the 'best fish soup' can put a smile on her face. And one other favor, if I do this for you." Riventon states. chongire lifts his head up from his pleading stance, curiously. "I want you to take any parts of the fish you don't cook with and hide them somewhere in Joker's office." Riventon says, very seriously. "Someone should mess with him. And he's probably wary of me." Riventon explains.

chongire makes a very confused, concerned face. "Messing with Joker is... that guy is creepy. I don't really think I'm feeling that."

The microwave beeps and Riventon opens the microwave and reaches in for his dish, burning his hand for a moment before he covers it in Dark Energy to make an oven mit. "Well them, hope you can be in two places at once." Riventon says, starting to walk off with his food.

"Nrg. Fine. Fish for the cat and fish for the clown." chongire says. "As long as you take good care of Elda-chan today, yes?" Riventon turns.

And he smiles and pats chongire on the shoulder. "Deal, let's go get the little shrimp."
Takashi Agera                 NOW

Riventon is flying in the air, alongside a rowboat that's moving through the sky on its own, with Elda-chan sitting in it, a purple sphere in her hands. "See anything that looks fun yet?" Riventon asks.

"No... this is bor - Oh, what's THAT?!?!" she says, leaning out of the boat and pointing a finger at something. "It looks so FUN! Let's use THAT!" she says, and Riventon nods.

"Have at it, kid." Riventon says.

"Alright! Layabout! Let's PLAY!" she yells as she does a slipn in the air and hurls the purple orb at a statue. A rather famous statue.

"LAYABOUT!" cries the giant model Gundam as its eyes flow purple and it takes a step off the platform.

"Alright! Grab that motivation energy!" Elda says as the Layabout's eyes turn red and it pulls energy away from the tourists and locals who had come to gather around the giant Gundam Statue and were mid shock at its sudden movement.
Laura La Mer These have been a busy few days for Laura, having to handle the post-Chanteur accomodations, but things have by now started to get back to a tranquil pace, so she is now out to enjoy herself in the Pikarigaoka Ward to get ice cream with Yokina and Tsubasa. Her new friend couldn't come due to some homework she insisted to be given so it would be fair to everyone, so it was just the two of them.

"So anyway, what kind of ice cream are you going to get, Yokina-chan?", Laura smiles at her friend, walking at a leisurely pace towards the shop. She hmms quietly as an idea strikes her. "Do you think ice cream could be made in Grand Ocean? You know, bubble flower as a flavour would be quite good", she tells the other two.

A few more steps around a corner, and the result of Elda's play session come into Laura's sight. "Elda...", Laura frowns at the shrimp girl, her hand quickly moving towards the Mermaid Aqua Pact.

"It's a Layabout, and Elda is with Riventon", she tells her friends, even if they can probably see it for themselves. "Let's transform."

"Pretty Cure! Tropical Change!", she announces as a pink sphere surrounds her. Taking off the Heart Swirl Ring and inserting sideways into the keyhole of the Mermaid Aqua Pact, she twists it upright and its seashell cover splits in half, revealing a purple base with white stars and blue waves on the left side and white hearts on the right side, surrounding a blue circle with a motif of crystals all around a white sphere. The opened compact transforms her completely, enriching her appearance with make-up and her clothes as Cure La Mer. Jumping upwards with a splash of waters, finally Laura introduces herself. "The Shimmering Ocean! Cure La Mer!"

"Hey there, Riventon!", Laura points at the scientist. "Do you need Elda's help these days? Sorry to say, but that Motivation power is going to go back where it belongs, so not you!"
Cure Wing Tsubasa was on his way to join Laura and Yokina, waving his hand as he comes into sight of the pair. "Hey!" he greets cheerfully. He's so looking forward to ice cream with his two friends. But that is quickly interrupted when Riventon and Elda arrive... and animate the large Gundam statue. "Oh /wow/." he starts to say with sparkles in his eyes as the state comes to life. "That is so cool!"

Laura's "Let's Transform" snaps him out of his thoughts of piloting a giant mecha, ammd instead he nods. "Right, good idea!"

Grabbing the Mirage pen, Tsubasa presses a small button on it, announcing, "Sky Mirage!" The crystal of the pen splits in half, opening into a small orb. In the meantime, he grabs a small disk with three small wings and clicks a button on the side of it, announcing, "Tone Connect!" As the orb starts to spin and light up, Tsubasa calls out, "Hirogaru Change!" And a moment later, "WING!"

A hair clip appears on the left side of his head, as his hair changes style, a long ponytail appearing as his hair becomes brighter orange in color and his ahoge becomes smaller, making both eyes visible. Finally, the orange precure magic over his feet turn into orange boots with yellow 'claw' designs. As that finishes, Cure Wing starts the next part of his transformation.

"Sparkling HOP!" As Cure Wing hops from magical disc to disc, a small canted top hat appears on his forehead, along with a double-sphere magenta earring on each ear, the left ear also marked with an orange heart.

"Refreshing STEP!" The orange magic over his chest transforms into his outfit of shirt, shorts, vest and long, birdlike coat-tail.

"Clear and Sunny JUMP!" As the magic over his hands transform into gloves, Cure Wing leaps into the air, taking off into a figure eight and into a barrel roll before landing on the ground. He gives a wink and a bright smile before saluting with the left hand across his forehead to his right eye. And then he announces himself "Courage that soars to the heavens!"

Once transformed, he rises off the ground to take flight. "I'll see if I can get a closer look!" And with that, he launches towards the statue, drawing back a fist to prepare to give the structure a super-powered punch!
Sailor Saturn Yokina Meiou looked thoughtful a he question, a hand on her chin. "Underwater ice cream... I think that could work. I mean, they make things like dip-n-dots, and that's just colder ice cream, right? So I imagine it'd be kind of like... bubble tea... then again, dip-n-dots are innately evil, so they might not be a good example..." What? It was like ice cream that was, like... cold-ish. Or something. Right?

... Right?

However, the sight of the giant gundam statue coming alive? It made her eyes SPARKLE! "Oh my gosh, YES! That's... wait, Riventon?" she asked.

Oh dear. Ohhhhh dear. That... could be trouble. She'd need to be careful, not to let him know it was--

"E-Elda?" she asked. OH MY GOSH! SHE WAS ADORABLE! A WIDDLE SHRIMP! However, they were right... And she quickly ran off, out of sight.

And before long... A sailor Senshi lands on top of the gundam-housing platform. "Protege of Sailor Pluto and guardian of her honor, reminder that small things matter as well and Pluto is still a planet! I am Sailor Charon! Riventon, your foul misdeeds cannot be allowed to carry on! Elda... you are adorable, carry on! Giant gundam... You're so cool like, oh my gosh, do your limbs detach and do you have super moves? Are you being piloted by like, a tiny youma inside, or are you more like a giant robot taken over by evilllll AI control?"

...
Takashi Agera     Riventon looks out from his perch and sighs. Oh, the heroes are here again. Elda seemes equally annoyed, putting her hands on her hips. "That's MY doll and I can play with it how I want." she yells. "And Riventon-san is just playing with me." Riventon nods.

"What's wrong, nobody wants to spend any time with you because you just stick your nose into other people's business?" she asks. "I found this cool toy and I barely got to do anything with it before you all showed up." she pouts. "And I'm not gonna let you take the motivation energy back!" She adds. "Get them, Layabout!" she says, dramatically throwing out her hand.

"I don't need her help, I'm choosing to help her. It's what teammates do." Riventon replies, grumpily. Well, the other option is to admit he's babysitting, so no.

Cure Wing's super-powered punch comes in and... a sparkle of Dark Energy occurs and the gundam's proper shield materializes in its hand which it puts up to block the punch - though the impact still pushes it back down to one knee before it rises again, fist-print in the shield. It's eyes glow with a purple version of that Gundam Eye Twinkle, and a rifle materializes in its other hand, which it starts to fire Dark Energy bolts out at Cure Wing with.

Riventon looks at the annoyingly... familiar... small... Sailor Soldier. "Look, kid, my most foul deed today has been standing up here watching." he says.

"Yeah, that's my toy he just punched." Elda grumps. "I guess I'm not gonna have it for long..." she pouts. "UNLESS YOU SMASH THEM!" she yells. The gundam continues firing its rifle, sweeping Dark Energy shots over the other two heroes.
Laura La Mer "Charon, the Layabout is Elda's idea of playing. She can't carry on", Laura whispers to her friend after jumping closer, as a warning. What is so special about her even? "She can't even understand sometimes there are more important things than playing", she scathingly remarks to Elda.

Both Charon and Wing are being distracted by the Gundam Layabout rather than Elda, so her priorities certainly should be other. "It is neat, but it's not really all that special. We did something even better than that in Chanteur", she looks at the Layabout with an air of confidence. Too bad it no longer works like that outside of the fairy realm.

"You know, you would still be teammates even if she helped you", La Mer continues, actually a bit surprised at hearing him talk of teammates. She would have figured he saw himself as the boss of his own little squad.

She scoffs lightly when he points out he has just been there watching (so much for teammates!), but doesn't point it out.

"If you are all about teammates, surely you can see that people shouldn't get their motivation stolen. They have their own friends too", the mermaid remarks instead. Hey, worth a try.

"And the three of us were having fun together, and we can have even more fun after these people get their joy of living back", she flips her hair back. "Let's put on our charm, shall we?", Laura smiles at the other two mahous.

And given that Wing has been making a dent in that shield, that's definitely the right way, the pink-blue-haired Precure determines, jumping towards the shield with a punch of her own aimed right into the dent.
Cure Wing As Cure Wing slams home, he thinks he had made a solid hit. And he did. Except for the pesky shield that radiates out when he smacks into it. "Well, this is going to be a bother." he mutters as he turns to where Cure La Mer is talking. "I mean, it might be worth the..."

But his words are cut off as he hears the whine of the rifle powering up. Turning to see the rifle is aiming at him, he launches, taking off in a series of complicated manuveurs to try to avoid the blasts.

"I don't think she's up for much of a playtime!" he calls out to Laura, just as one of his dodges pushes him right in front of him and he has to throw up his arms to defend himself as the blast washes over him.

When it's done, Cure Wing is spiralling towards the ground headfirst, the remains of dark magic trailing behind him.
Sailor Saturn Yokina Meiou blinked a few times. Chose to help her. Was... was Elda part of Riventon's division?

Small? Check.

Adorable? Check.

Probably cries a lot? Definitely check.

... Yup. She must have joined his department. Clever. She never would have seen this coming. A small smirk formed on her lips and she twirled the glaive. "No, you can't keep what doesn't belong to you! If you desire a toy, you should have Riventon buy you one! His salary allows him to buy all kinds of toys, especially gundams and ones with light up action! I bet he could even build you one that punched and stuff if you wanted!"

... What? He made her glaive, he could make his new shrimpette a toy gundam.

Unfortunately, as the youma was unleashing blasts of firepower, she had no choice but to flee! She leaped away, her glaive slashing out to deflect the dark energy blast and... It was sent spiraling through the air!

At Elda.

Oops.

Charon, meanwhile, landed on the ground to rejoin the others, dashing forward in front of Wing and driving her glaive into the ground, forming a strange, dark green barrier in front of them. "Charon atmosphere shield! Are you okay?" At least she'd hopefully buy him a chance to recover. "The three of us are good friends, Elda! This is why we won't be defeated by even the coolest giant robot youma!"
Takashi Agera     Elda sticks out her tongue and Laura. "More important things than playing? That sounds like something someone who's in a hurry to be grown-up would say. Not me! I'm gonna be little Elda-chan and play forever!" She says. Riventon gives her some side eye at this, but honestly, on the scale of things he has to deal with, a kid who doesn't want to grow up is almost... normal. Even if that kid is a literal shrimp.

"If I didn't have to steal their motivation to play I wouldn't." Elda adds.

Riventon shrugs. "None of those people are going to change the world, you know. Motivated or not it really doesn't matter how they go through life, or don't." he says. "Their energy is probably more useful with us than with them - at least that way it'll ''do'' something."

Elda smiles with a toothy grin as Wing takes the shot. She had, at some point, picked up a couple dolls in her hands, but she drops them to grip the edge of the boat and look out. "Oh! Oh! It got one! Maybe this one will stick around! Good job, Layabout!" she says. Elda hears Yokina say things about toys and she looks to Riventon. "Well, Chongire buys me toys sometimes but I just wanna play outside. There's not a toy shop with one of those in it!" she says, pointing as La Mer lands another blow on the shield and it cracks down the line - showing that it may not be metal, but in fact plastic. Half of it falls to the floor and the other half remains in the hand, so the robot-youma swings its now edged shield in a sweep across the girls, though it PINGS off Charon's barrier. It raises its hand to its back and grips one of the sword hilts there, pulling out a sorrd glowing with Dark Energy.

Riventon, meanwhile, has to act fast, stepping in front of Elda and raising a runic shield - a circle of Midchildan energy that soaks the blast that went from rifle to glaive to him. "Hey! Be careful, she's just a kid, like she said." Riventon says, somewhat annoyed. Partially because if he gets Elda hurt, Chongire's probably not going to appreciate that as part of the deal.
Cure Wing Cure Wing's descent is brought to a halt as he lands in Charon's atmospheric shield. As he slides down, he lets out a whiff or breath. "Yeah..." he offers with a shakes of his head. "That thing packs a punch, doesn't it?"

Despite the chaos surrounding them, there's no anger in his expression, just calm resolve and a flicker of understanding. He adjusts his cape, the symbol of his unwavering determination.

"Elda-chan," he says, his voice firm but kind. "You talk about playing forever, but this isn't play. Taking people's energy, their will to live and dream: it's not a game. It's hurting them, even if you don't see it that way."

Wing shifts his stance, spreading his wings protectively as the robot-youma advances. "And you, Riventon," he says with a glance toward the man, his tone sharpening, "if their energy is more useful to you, maybe it's time to question what kind of person you've chosen to be. People aren't tools to break down and repurpose."

"Cool robot or not, we're not going to let you win!" he declares.

He casts a quick glance over his shoulder toward Charon, nodding in gratitude for the barrier. "I'm fine," he reassures her, then turns his attention back to Elda. His voice softens, almost imploring. "Elda, playing outside and being free: those are wonderful things. But freedom doesn't come from stealing it from others. It comes from protecting it for everyone. You're strong enough to choose that. You're strong enough to be a hero and our friend!"

As the robot-youma draws its glowing dark energy sword, Wing launches into the air again. "Let's show them, Charon, La Mer. Together, we'll protect what matters most." With that, he launches towards the Gundam and it's sword, aiming to juke around it and go above and behind the robot!
Laura La Mer "Wha's that? I am in no hurry to grow up, you just are as much of a Layabout yourself! I just want to get Grand Ocean back to how it was and become like the Mermaid Queen!", Laura shouts to Elda, ticked off by the insinuation.

"Her idea of playing is all upside-down", La Mer warns Wing too, retreating after the result of the punch into the shield, maneuvering away from the youma right behind Charon's shield and grateful the Gundam's shield has bounced away from the barrier. "Good call, Charon! How is Wing?", she asks upon landing.

"Of course, we won't be defeated because ''our teamwork'' is the best, coolest thing ever. Maybe you would understand if you try", she stares at him, a pensive expression as he glosses over the lives of their victims. "Riventon, humans are much better than that. They may not seem very special from afar, but I have gotten to know them, and I understand just how wrong I was."

She takes a few steps towards the edge of the barrier. "I love my friends, and anybody that hurts them, I will never forgive them! They showed me so many fun things and shine with a splendor that can only draw you in. If you say humans aren't special, they try to reach out!", she concludes her speech to the silver-haired guy.

"Perfume Shiny Ring - Bubble Form!" she declares as she inserts her pen under the Aqua Pact and the ring above it, the cover splitting open again. Grasping it by the now attached pen, Cure La Mer shouts "Aqua Charge!" and rotates the disk, a vortex of bubbles entering her Aqua Pact. The mermaid spins around, a trail of glowing pink energy following behind her. "Pretty Cure Ocean Bubble Shower!" she shouts, pointing the Mermaid Aqua Pact at the Layabout, the magical item briefly glowing yellow before it rapidly fires an uncountable torrent of bubbles.
Sailor Saturn "Sorry, Elda!" Sailor Charon yelled towards the other girl. "I'll try and aim my hits better!"

Still, Riventon's talk about how none of these people were going to change the world... did make her sigh. No, they weren't like her daddy or him... but seriously? Motivation?

Taking someone's energy was one thing. But Motivation? How did one recover motivation? That was something that was always in limited supply. Riventon of all people should know that.

As they gathered up to go into the next round, she pulled her glaive back. Wing was okay and La Mer was readying her attack. The little shield went down and she charged in. Draw all the energy swords you want, Charon had an energy GLAIVE! And that was WAY COOLER! She'd strike in unison with the others, leaping into the air and driving her glaive forward to try and strike it against the dark energy glaive! "Meteor strike!" she yelled, taking it from the front as Wing went around back and La Mer assaulted from afar!
Takashi Agera     Riventon looks down at Cure Wing and his eyes narrow but for just a moment it seems as though maybe his words struck a chord, in regards to something about the person he wants to be. But he visibly shakes his head. He can't talk about protecting people or anything else in front of Elda, today isn't the day to make dramatic points about hiw own goals and aims. Instead he just says nothing.

"Queen sounds like a lot of work." Elda says, in regards to Laura. "You have to make rules and listen to people complain and BLEH." she says. "I'd rather be a princess and just do whatever I want and have people tell me how wonderful I am!" she adds. "Princess Elda... that sounds good. I should ask Riventon and Numeri and Chongire to make me a Princess..." she muses aloud.

"If regular humans are so special, then why did they build this ridiculous statue that couldn't even move until we got hold of it?" Riventon asks. "All they have are dreams they can't make true. It takes power to make your dream come true, whatever that is." he continues.

The robot tries to swing its sword at Cure Wing, but the boy cure is too fast and it mostly just ends up kind of spinning confusedly, in time for the Ocean Bubble Shower to collide with it and drive it back a few thundering steps. Then came Charon's strike as it tried to get up, driving it back to the one knee position and sending the now-offline sword hilt skittering across the floor. But to those who are paying attention they may notice its head turning towards her - there's a few moments for people to act before the guns on either side of its head open fire on the small senshi.
Cure Wing Cure Wing darts through the air like a streak of light, weaving past the robot's clumsy sword swings. His eyes lock onto its remaining knee as he circles behind it, the determination in his gaze unyielding.

"You call them dreams they can't make true, but that's where you're wrong, Riventon," Cure Wing calls out, his voice carrying through the battlefield. "Dreams are powerful because people keep striving for them, even when they're hard to reach. And they don't need to hurt others to get there."

As the robot's head turns toward Charon, its guns beginning to align, Wing makes his move. He dives low and fast, channeling the strength of the wind into his legs. With a shout of resolve, he strikes at the back of the Gundam's other knee, aiming to topple it entirely and throw off its aim.

"You can call them weak," Wing continues, landing gracefully and skidding back into a defensive position, "but I call them resilient. And that's what makes them strong!"
Sailor Saturn Sailor Charon took a slow, deep breath. Then turned her steely eyed gaze on Riventon. "HEY! How about YOU try making a giant robot without magic that moves and stuff? Say what you want, but magic is defintiely cheating and an unfair edge, it's why it's so much better than not having it at all!" Hey, making a robot wasa lot of work, okay?! It took her ages to 3d print and she needed a lot of help from the others and it just... it's hard, okay guys?!

However, the robot's head was turning towards her. Ohhh, co-- wait no those were GUNS!

She eeped, lifting her glaive to shield herself, but... Only a few shots went off before Wing went in! If wing managed to stop the full assault, she'd hit the ground, and then leap out to... well...

"The Moon's Knee!" Yes. she would try to knee the youma in the face. This. This was likely a mistake.
Laura La Mer "Sometimes making your dreams come true is hard, but it's as long as they are there that you can work towards them. As long as you believe, that's all you need to make progress", Laura remarks, putting back her Perfume Shiny Ring and detaching the stylus to return the Mermaid Aqua Pact to its usual form.

Wing is also countering Riventon's point over dreams, so La Mer doesn't delve in too deep, just nodding to show her agreement with what the birdlike Precure is saying.

She shakes her head at Elda. "Princess of what? You don't even have somewhere to rule over, and I doubt the Witch intends to adopt you as the heir of her mansion." Which still wouldn't make her a princess, but at least the shrimp's idea would start making some semblance of sense. "And you are only saying princess is better because you don't know what the Mermaid Queen is like", she adds with a tinge of annoyance.

Which grows stronger when the Layabout fires at Charon and the Sailor Senshi hits the ground. Glaring at the Layabout, La Mer leaps above the Gundam, aiming for the arm that is holding the fractured shield with a kick. "You don't listen to warnings."
Takashi Agera     "You know what's powerful? Dark Energy. Dark Energy turned a robot from a toy into a weapon. It turned this thing from a statue that never moves into something actually cool. From a pathetic example of someone's dream to a dream come true." he proclaims. Of course at about the same time Wing collides into the back of the Gundam's knee and drives it forward and off balance, and send most of the dark energy vulcan blasts far off course - at the same time that La Mer slams into the arm - and then the 'Moon Knee' impacts it, which is probably more of an attempt than anything successful, but... the creature passed off-balance a long time ago...

So the creature almost ends up doing a bit of video-game-physcis engine wobbling; which likely is the most dangerous sort of thing it performs now, limbs flailing wildly and rather unrealistically, except it -is- real here.

"Princess of whatever I want!" she says, sticking her tongue out again, then looking at the Whacky Arm Flailing Not Inflated Gundam. "Oh... they already broke it..." she says, a little bit sad as she picks up the two toys she was previously playing with. But eventually the flailing stops and it's on its back, trying to get up. "Alright, we should go home with him." Elda says to Riventon. "Before we lose the motivation energy!"
Sailor Saturn Sailor Charon whimpered when her knee hit the metal face. Ow. Ow ow ow. Oh. Wow. That... that really was a bad idea. Sure, it was somewhat effective. but at what price? Her knee... owie. Still... they were kicking its butt! Progress WAS being made, and now?

Now it was time to finish it off!

Well, actually, it was time for La Mer to take its motivation power back. THEN they could finish it off. Which was good, because it meant she had a chance to jump back and... rub her knee. "Ow ow ow ow..." she whispered. Note to self. She had a stick. USE the stick.
Laura La Mer "Too bad with that, it's down and that's my cue!", Laura winks at Elda, taking the Aqua Pot out of her hair. Of course she knows all too well that's not going to last and time is of the essence here. "Mermaid Aqua Pot! Search!", she smiles, pressing the button on top of the bottle.

The figure of the Gundam Layabout appears on the Aqua Pot's screen and a small light circle starts examining it, stopping on the youma's head and returning a yellow heart. "Yellow. Motivation power, come back!" La Mer extends her arm towards the youma, the bottle shown to it screen first as it flashes a rainbow conch.

Pressing the button on top of the Aqua Pot twice, the rainbow conch enters the yellow heart, setting it ablaze and forcing the youma to release a stream of motivation power that enters the bottle through the screen. "Alright, it's back, now we can attack!" she announces to the other two, figuring that the Gundam is probably going to get up again.
Cure Wing Cure Wing takes a deep breath as the Gundam crashes onto its back, limbs flailing in a chaotic display of instability. The battlefield still hums with tension, but Wing knows this is the moment to end the fight decisively before the dark energy weapon can recover.

His wings glow brighter, golden light gathering at their edges, and he rises into the air with effortless grace. "Dark energy might twist things into weapons, Riventon, but it can't create anything real or lasting. Real power comes from hope, kindness, and protecting those who can't protect themselves!"

He focuses his energy, spinning once midair as his wings radiate with a gale-force wind infused with shimmering orange light. "This ends now! '''Wing Attack!'''"

Cure Wing dives down in a controlled arc, the light from his winged cape forming a glowing crescent as he sweeps low over the Gundam. The crescent energy slashes across its chest, disrupting the dark energy core within.

After striking the Gundam, Wing lifts into the sky, folding his cape behind him as he looks toward Riventon and Elda.

"You still have time to choose a better path," he says, his voice calm but firm. "Don't let dark energy or anyone else dictate who you are." Then, turning to his allies, he adds with a smile, "Let's make sure everyone gets their energy back safely."
Takashi Agera     Riventon shoots Cure Wing a death glare, and maybe the boy might not exactly know what he saids. "Careful with your words there, or you're gonna move from Justice Speech to Signed Your Own Death Warrant." he warns, his voice far less playful and chill in tone now.

Of course some of the teeth of his threat are going to come out because the youma is about to eat it.

Riventon's frustrated eyes do move over to whatever device Laura holds up - he can feel with his own device the way the energy is sapped in reverse out of the youma. "No!" Elda says as the energy is pulled away. "You can't steal back what I stole." she pouts, knowing full well La Mer can, has, and will again probably. "Now I'm gonna be in trouble!"

Wing's attack lands and the youma complains in a low, metallic 'Layabout' sound... but the purification is enough to close it out, and soon there's not a giant walking Gundam, but the local tourist attracting has returned - minus a few dents and dings that'll be hard to explain - to its location.

"Well, that sucks." Riventon admits, though his eyes are still fixated on LaMer's Aqua Pot for the moment. Then he turns. "Oh, but I bet Chongire is back anyways, by now. Why don't we go check on him?" he asks Elda.

"Yeah, I guess..." she pouts. "They broke my cool robot..." she whines.

"Yeah, they do that..." Riventon admits as they duskport away, boat and all.
Sailor Saturn Sailor Charon blinked and watched them go. Huh. Well... "woo!" she said, before turning towards the others. "So, we did it, another victory for the good guys! Are we stil ldown for ice cream?" she asked. Before, well... if the two got close enough?

She was DEFINITELY going to go for a jump and hug, arms around both of them and giving them a tight squeeze. "We make the best team. The Moon, the Mermaid and the Phoenix. NO! The Mermaid, the Phoenix and the Moon. Then there's an M on the inside and outside, and it's like the mermaid is in the ocean, the phoenix is in the air and the moon is in orbit."

Once again, her eyes were sparkling. She... she put way too much thought into this in the last 15 seconds.
Cure Wing While the other two are celebrating, Wing is a little shaken up. Yes, he's a knight back home. Yes, he's stalwart and brave. But the way Riventon addressed him? That non-threat... that promise.

He felt that in his soul.

The boy stands rooted on his spot, watching Riventon and Elda leave.

But he can't stop his knees from shaking.
Laura La Mer Being in trouble? That was so not La Mer's problem, not unless that pipsqueak decides to change sides, which probably wouldn't happen anyway, so she is free to do anything she pleases, and part of it certainly includes returning to ice cream with Hotaru and Tsubasa.

"Of course we are down!", Laura grins, watching the rainbow trail of the motivation power spread like dust over the people it was stolen from, who start stirring and blinking.

"Naturally, we actually deserve it after going through with another Layabout defeated and these people saved", she looks fondly at her friends.

"Don't worry so much over what Riventon has said, Wing", Laura comments to the shaking boy. "That's really not worth considering. Even if he does anything? There is no problem too big for us to solve", she tries to cheer him up.

She replies to Charon's group hug with joining in tightly, a wide smile on her face. "Mermaid, Moon, and Phoenix, hmmm? We should start workshopping a team name", she suggests pleased.
Sailor Saturn Sailor Charon gave a small nod. However... Cure Wing's nervousness? That caught her eyes. For a moment, she was confused. Then La Mer called it out and she smiled. Her henshin ended a moment later and she shook her head. She reached up a hand and patted him on the head.

"La Mer's right. I know Riventon. He talks a really mean game and tries to be as scary as can be... but he rarely means the things he says. He only says them because he hopes if he intimidates you enough, you won't fight back. But he'd never take a life like..." She then stopped, frowning, the smile on her face wavering. "I guess... he did take a life, once. But... he'd never take the life of one of us. For that... for him to want to actually take your life, you'd need to do something truly monstrous. He's still going to act as huffy, angry and scary as can be, in order to make you give up and not fight him. Promise."

"... How about... ummmm... Bird, fish, rock..." she mumbled, trying to figure out a good combination name for such a group.
Cure Wing As the two girls address him, Wing finally starts to calm down. "You're right." he says with a firm nod of his head. "It will be fine." He de-henshins back into Tsubasa. "As long as I have my friends, nothing bad can happy.

So why does he feel such a heavy weight on him? Was it the dark energy he was struck with? Or was it something else?

With Charon going back to naming conventions. "I mean, it will come to us. No rush, right?"
