Chrono Harlaown Chrono Harlaown wasn't sure how to fix any of this. He wasn't sure if he COULD fix any of this. There was so much damage, so much pain. So he decided to do the most reasonable thing...

Not even try.

Usagi needed a chance to let some of this air out, to clear her head. So instead of trying to talk her down? Instead, he offered her a simple solution.

Blowing off steam.

He was sitting in a rather secluded park area of the city, away from the crowds, his legs crossed, eyes closed, staff in his lap. He seemed to be in meditation, though he was, of course, in uniform. But then, when wasn't he?

Waiting for her to make her grand appearance... So he could offer her the aid she so richly deserved.
Usagi Tsukino Usagi hadn't been expecting to get a word from Chrono, after her dust up with the Outer Senshi - they're not particularly close, but, then, she was pretty sure he was one of Setsuna's best friends, so - in hindsight, not as much of a surprise as she'd think. The fact that he'd offered for them to blow off some steam?

For a girl who hated exercise, it might be a surprise that she'd jumped on that pretty quickly. But, that the thing: Chrono wasn't really asking to ''talk'', just to get it out, and she could use some of that. She'd talked to Mamoru, to Makoto, to Minako, to Ami, to Michiru - she was a little ''tired'' of talking. She'd rather do.

So it's Sailor Moon who appears in the park, not so much in a grand entrance, as a series of leaping hops, from a roof, to a tree, to the ground -

"Chrono-kun. Thanks for the invitation!"
Chrono Harlaown Chrono Harlaown opened an eye when he heard her coming, but closed it a moment later. Letting her announce herself on her own time. Once she had? He gave a small nod and opened both eyes. "Happy to help. I know after intense moments, sometimes we all need a chance to get it out of our system." He lifted the staff into the air and magic erupted out from it, the barrier washing over them and shunting the non-magical people away, where they could break things in peace.

"So then, please, treat me as a training partner in this, if you'd like to talk at all, I'll offer what I can. However?"

He raised his staff towards her. "I'll expect you, primarily, to try and beat my ass. So don't feel you need to hold back at all for my sake."
Usagi Tsukino "You're right. I've been talking to a lot of people, and it's like, good to talk - but sometiems you need action, too. I'm not usually one for exercise, don't judge me! But... I think this will be good."

She stretches a little, as the barrier goes up, shunting away the mundane civilians, making it so they can go all out without ruining this poor, innocent park.

"Are you sure? I mean, I know you're strong, but, I don't want to like... hurt you?"
Chrono Harlaown Chrono Harlaown gave a small nod. "I'm certain, Sailor Moon. Don't worry, I have a fairly good gauge of my own capabilities and if things get too dangerous, I have multiple defensive abilities that should allow me enough time to let you know to stop."

After all, he'd managed to survive a Rashmi buffed up Nanoha. Compared to that near death experience, how bad could Sailor Moon be? ... Probably pretty bad, but that's what these tests were for!

"I assume you'd prefer a ground, rather than an aerial battle, correct? Is there any type of combat skills you'd prefer to focus on? Long range, defensive, shielding, traps?"
Usagi Tsukino "I can't fly, so I'd prefer a ground battle... but in the future sometime, it'd probably be good to try some aerial stuff, because I'm pretty sure more of our enemies can fly, and I should practice. But today... today I'd rather on the ground. Now get ready!"

And she reaches up to touch her tiara, lifting it up, letting energy, pour into it, until metal is shining cosmic energy.

"Moon Tiara Action!"

And she throws her tiara towards his middle, a first strike, a warm up, figuring out what he has.
Chrono Harlaown Chrono Harlaown nodded, readying himself for her first assault...

A magical discus. An interesting technique, he had to admit. Considering what he knew of the other senshi, he supposed he shouldn't be too surprised. They threw random elements, why shouldn't Sailor Moon throw the physical embodiment of her royalty in people's faces?

He moved to the left, his right hand pushing out from him and forming a barrier, causing the tiara to strike it at an angle and keep going, rather than allowing a proper strike.

His staff was now in his left hand, which he held up, aiming it at her.

            <<Stinger Snipe!>>

Two small, blue orbs would appear. One rocketing out, going high, while the second arced around, moving to strike from behind in the back of the legs. While, normally, the orbs could be quite destructive, in this case he'd lowered their power to ensure more of a testing strike. Likely to bruise, but not really break if they hit anything.
Usagi Tsukino The tiara hits a barrier, and bounces - Usagi isn't surprised by that, because why wouldn't Chrono be able to make a barrier? Instead, while the tiara spins away, she raises a hand to her forehead.

"Moon Twilight Flash!"

And as Chrono launches his attack, her beam of Moonlight strikes for him, hoping that he can't do two things at once. Meanwhile, there's orbs, and she doesn't see them both - but the first one - the first one she manages to grab, even if her hands sting, like catching a baseball barehanded, and she hurls it back, energy lighting it up cosmic.

"Moon Ball Action!"

The other ball hits her in the back of the thigh, and she yelps.
Chrono Harlaown Chrono Harlaown was an experienced soldier, he'd been training and fighting for years. He could do *many* things at once. He spun around, taking another sharp step to the right and bending backwards slightly, swirling with an almost graceful, practiced ease so the beam went past him. Yes, this was his--

WHAT THE HELL?!

And then Sailor Moon just caught the blue ball of magic. In her BARE! HANDS! That was NOT how that worked. WHAT THE HELL?! And just... FILLED it with magic and CHUCKED it back at him.

And he was actually surprised. So surprised he didn't even move. He just... stood there, halfway through his spin and--

Bonk. It hit him in the chest and exploded, sending him toppling back and tumbling across the ground.

What. That didn't. How. Why. Did... Did she only do that because... WHAT?! That was like catch a ball of fire and just... yeeting it back. THAT WASN'T HOW THE MAGIC WORKED! YET SHE DID IT! Did it only work because she didn't know it COULDN'T do that?! Was it the powering up thing she did with it? WAS MAGIC ON THIS PLANET JUST BULLSHIT?! APPARENTLY! WELL, FINE! OVER A DECADE OF PRACTICING WITH SOME OF THE BEST MAGIC TRAINERS IN TSAB SPACE BUT WHAT DID HE KNOW?

"Very impressive, Sailor Moon. You do have such a unique way of dealing with situations," he said, keeping that calm, comforting soldier grin on his face the entire time. Nope. He was NOT having a small, minor internal scream as the rules of magic were told to just shove it.

            <<Stinger Blade!>>

A blue sword appeared overhead, doing a single spin before launching itself at Sailor Moon... now it, too, was made of magic, but he still wondered if she would, somehow, manage to wield it like a real sword.

Gosh darn planet pilots...
Usagi Tsukino "It's the tiara magic," she calls over, giggling, "I think there's a saying about hammers? And nails?"

It's not her first laugh, since the fights with Michiru and Setsuna, but she's feeling a little carefree, instead of angry, and they're having some fun, maybe, instead of - instead of just being ''angry''. Chrono throws a sword this time, instead of a ball, and nope!!! No way is she catching that with her poor, gloved but not armored hands, nope! Instead, with a little gasp, she brings the Moon Stick out, that pink handle and golden, shiny crescent moon, and she -

Sword, coming at her, flying for her chest, and there's been a lot of that, swords, and yeah, she doesn't like them. Nope, she doesn't like them at all. And so she brings the Moon Stick up to deflect the sword, or try, at least.

She's not a trained weapons expert, after all, but she swings, and she swipes away, at the sword, to try and swipe it away.

""Moon Twilight Flash!"

And tries to blast him again, while the sword maybe, hopefully spins away.
Chrono Harlaown Chrono Harlaown gave a small shrug. "If there is, I wouldn't know it!" A pause. A moment later and... "Oh! We have something similiar. 'When one is a belkan, all things can be punched!'" he called out to her.

Her pulling the wand out to deflect the sword, however, made him smile. When it was struck, it disippated into magical dust, the blue light kind of shimmering around her. A magic beam in the shape of a sword, it seemed. Much less... murdery. He then ran forward! He ducked, though the beam struck, just barely, the sleeve of his barrier jacket. It was singed, but at least he managed to avoid a full strike.

He was then there. He struck out with his staff, striking with the head of the staff towards HER head, while his right hand moved to try and grab the wrist holding the moon stick... and his left foot kicked out, to try and knock her right foot from under her. Switching things up to a close combat style.
