Post-Fight FaM-Mart
Date of Scene: 30 August 2025
Location: FaM-Mart
Synopsis: After a fight with an indescribably weird youma that happens offcamera, our heroes invade the local conbini for late night snacks, and Zoisite has a baby picture to show~! Has Diana been sup-PLANT-ed as cutest mascot by Blue Spinel?? (No.)
Cast of Characters: Mamoru Chiba, Minako Aino, Ami Mizuno, Zoisite, Roman Talleday, Usagi Tsukino

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
The tuxedo is ripped and its wearer scuffed and a bit battered-looking, but Tuxedo Mask is grinning as he pushes his way into the conbini. "Okay but at least elephant feet meant it didn't have talons," he's saying over his shoulder, then turns around to hold the door open. "I am too hungry to wait to go home. I require food on a stick."

Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus catches the door with her shoulder as she follows in looking not much better for her part. The bow was askew, and one side of her orange sailor-neckline had torn free from the shoulder to dangle behind her amidst the mass of her hair. Otherwise she was mostly scuffed up, a bit of dirt on one cheek and a glove half rolled down one arm due to a scuffed elbow.

"Yes, but why did it have to be an 'elephant ear' youma? I used to love eating those! But the powdered sugar... uuugh." With a huff of breath her mood does seem to improve a bit at something Tuxedo Kamen says. "Food on a stick! Yes! And maybe a donut or two."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
At first glance, Sailor Mercury seemed relatively clean and unmussed beside the other two. She'd hung a little further back as usual, preferring to operate at a distance as support for the more capable fighters. A closer inspection, however, would reveal very subtle bruising about her right eye.

Following along immediately behind Sailor Venus, she entered the store with a faint and grateful nod to Tuxedo Mask.

"A coffee would be nice." She said plainly, still a little bit out of sorts for the moment of carelessness that would certainly cost her quite the shiner.

Zoisite has posed:
Burst of cherry blossoms and a rather disgruntled Zoisite appears, some leaves in his hair, phone in one hand and an empty baby bottle in the other.

"These miserable bloody youmas could not have picked a worse time to appear. Where is it?!"

Roman Talleday has posed:
Pink hair is still bearing a good deal of powdered sugar, too, as he trails in behind. With the white swirl of his bangs, the Princely Cure is covered in flakes of pastry as well, half looking like tattered confection himself.

"Of everythin' I could get in my mouth, but, sorta relieved it wasn't a rubbish monster flingin' bin juice or somethin'," He muses to Mercury, still holding a tender arm and missing a boot, "You always know its gonna happen sooner or later, yeah? Powdered sugar's a lucky strike, isn't it?"

"That's a good outlook, Stir-stir! But who knew pastry could be so vicious..." Darjeela's voice peeped from the teacup-saucer hat, pink head and ears poking over the rim.

"Well, it's got layers, don't it?" He returned lazily, before blinking towards the suddenly appearing Zoisite at the Konbini door. The baby bottle was an interesting note. Wonder what was interrupted, there? "Alright? Got milk, mate?" He almost laughed.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Yo-isite, we got it, you can go back to-- wait, hold still--" Tuxedo Mask says, reaching over to pluck leaves out of Zoisite's hair. "You can go back to feeding your phone or whatever." He grins cheekily, then waves his card around. "I've got it you guys. Sorry, clerk-san, we'll be out of your hair soon!"

Clerk-san waves a hand boredly.

Mamoru goes for, in fact, meat on a stick. And also some mochi on a stick. "The pastry was to lull you into a false sense of security in thinking the monster was edible. Then there were the elephant feet, and the beak, and the bat wings with the lil claws in them--"

Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus lingers near the door to make sure Mercury gets through as well as Cure Chai. He was still unfamiliar to her in this guise. That doesn't stop her gaze from straying toward the tea-themed mahou before returning a worried look to Mercury.

"Coffee is fine but we should also get you a popcicle to put on that eye, Mercury-chan!"

The flurry of blossoms catches her attention as she half-turns to slip inside remarking, "Haaai Zoisite, we got---it?" She pauses abruptly, gaze pointedly fixed on the bottle in his hand.

Her voice practically drops an octave as she deadpans, "Zoisite is there something we should know?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"The rocket-bagels were a surprise that I certainly never saw coming." Sailor Mercury whispered quietly, mostly to herself, before she came to a stop within. "But, yes. Pastry youma are nicer than trash youma. At least for the smell that you take home."

A glance around and the Senshi set off toward the coffee machine, there really wasn't anything else that she was immediately hunting after. Well, sandwiches were probably following shortly after, but that was neither here nor there.

She paused briefly, casting a glance in Zoisite's direction with a playful little grin. "We didn't realise that you and Kunzite were expecting."

Roman Talleday has posed:
Cure Chai nods with a slight grimace at Tuxedo Mask and Mercury, wagging a finger to add, "It was the long tongue comin' out and tryin' to lick us that really threw me, but..."

He goes about gathering up a few onigiri and a swirled icecream in a cone, bending a little at the counter to let the Fairy on his head pay. Leaning out of the teacup, she places a wobbly note down in the basket and tosses a small armful of change. "Thank you, Clerk-san!"

Zoisite has posed:
There was a quick glare glanced over towards the precure, who he recognized from another skirmish that happened perhaps a week ago. "Milk mixed with 30 grams of vitamin B and extra nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, sulfur, calcium, and magnesium. Pinches of iron and copper as well--Yes, I have enough bloody milk right now--"

Blinks at Tuxedo Mask then, his sharp features swiftly softening as his prince pulled away the healthy green and purple leaves from his fiery hair. "Oh... I missed it? ...I'm sorry." A tiny furrow appears, almost disappointed. He was ready to launch that bottle at someone.

"And I wasn't feeding my phone--!"

Of course it would have been Venus to ask the question to the elephant in the room which had not been that obvious to Zoisite. "No?" He followed her gaze. Oh.

Then Mercury's word hit him like a brick to the face, his face glowing pink. "Excuse me?!" Green eyes are wide at her. "Absolutely not! Well--" Then he stopped himself, looking back at the bottle for a hard moment. A sighs follows.

"Expected would imply it didn't happen already. They were born today, as a matter of fact."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
At Venus' joke, Mamoru's mouth twitches; at Mercury's, he gets a complicated expression briefly before rolling his eyes and taking his selection of stuff -- and stuff for Usagi and Kazuo and Chibiusa -- to the counter. He looks amused at Darjeela paying, then looks at the clerk and asks, "What are you even seeing?"

"Absolutely nothing," says the clerk flatly. "Am I ringing you up yet?"

"No," says Mamoru.

"Right," says the clerk, finishes putting Darjeeling's money in the till, and proceeds to enthusiastically ignore Mamoru.

Tuxedo Mask turns around then because "Zoi, what? Stop feeding the trolls, what was born today?"

Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus leeeans forward to squint at Zoi's teasing only to rock back on her heels once she almost tips forward. She was not at her best right now. Sugar was low, and she was hungry, and a bit sore. Not too bad of course, it was mostly being tossed around.

"... So many bad fanfics," she lets out with a sigh as she turns to march for the frozen goods to fish out some popcicles, icecreams, and somewhere along the line picks up a cup of ice and several of those drink packs. And Nerds candy to mix in. The food on a stick isn't forgotten either as she snags a yakitori.

"Layers like the folds of an elephant ear, I get it, but why were they all different and yuck? Did an entire food truck get mixed up?"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Sailor Mercury giggled a little to herself as the coffee dispensed itself into a styrofoam travel cup. Steam billowing, a lid was fitted into place and then the Senshi made her way off toward the same cabinet that Cure Chai had just raided.

Onigiri seemed like a good idea. Pickled plum was selected, along with a very creamy, strawberry-filled sandwich. At least one of these things was little more than pure comfort as she finally approached the counter to set her selected items down.

"Yes." She finally said to the Pretty Cure. "But, I think we need to spend a little bit of time working on tactics and strategy that isn't just punch it harder."

A pause followed as she stared at the counter. "Even if it was both timely and functional in the moment."

Zoisite has posed:
"It's not a troll!" Zoisite turns on his heel at his prince, almost pleadingly. "They are precious, just very, very loud." He almost seems guilty for saying such a thing about his baby, yet there was no helping it. It was as loud as a siren when hungry and his ears still rung.

"Anyway, Blue Spinel, First of Their Name, was born today. You can call them Blu for short. I'll introduce you to them soon enough, but they needed at least two bottles of milk before I could leave."

Roman Talleday has posed:
"You're right. I should try kickin' 'em harder, too." He nodded. The Pretty Cure was starting with his icecream, tearing open some sort of pink pixie stick to dump over it.

Blue eyes rose again to Zoisite, however. He thought he'd heard Blu Cantrell, at first-- well fit bird that, good music-- but that wasn't the case. He squinted a little. "Is you bein' held hostage by a giant baby like off that Ghibli movie, or somethin'?"

As if those were a common thing in Japan.

Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus had waited. She'd bided her time. She was patient and focused on the fight! The fight was over now though, so she leeeans in to as Mercury, "So who's your cuuute friend?" It's a loaded question clearly as her grin states. She knew Mercury enough to know it was likely nothing in regards to her and Cure Chai being a thing, but it was more 'introduce meeeeee!'

At least that was the plan. Zoisite mentions 'Blue Spinel' causing her attention to flit back over. "... Don't tell me you guys somehow actually had a baby!?" Her voice lowers again to hiss-whisper to Mercury, "Can they do that? Can WE do that? I mean not us-us but you know I mean senshi in general."

Suddenly whipping her attention back to Zoisite she manages (somehow) to POINT dramatically in his direction without dropping her armload of snacks and drinks. "Hand over your phone! There's no way there's not pictures!"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Tuxedo Kamen's gloved hand goes over his mouth at Zoisite's outburst, and his eyes widen behind his mask at the further explanation. He doesn't know what his face is doing, but it's like he can hear everything through a tunnel for a moment. Then he sighs and it's an exhalation of his entire soul. "No, if Blu were Zoi's and Kunzite's, they'd be Blue Spodumene."

He pushes his stuff closer to Ami's, then hands Clerk-san his card finally. "Am I covering anyone else? Put your stuff on the counter."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
There were very few things that Sailor Venus could have said that would have had Sailor Mercury sighing harder. It wasn't even entirely her fault. This was just Minako being Minako and that was to be expected. The fact that she happened to know who Cure Chai was and how that related to Minako was the ultimate source.

"Sailor Venus..." The blue-haired senshi breathed before she let her eyes open again to offer Tuxedo Mask a pleading kind of look.

He, too, knew and thus understood her consternation. But, sapphirine gaze drifted back to her fellow senshi.

"Why don't you ask him for his phone number?"

Zoisite has posed:
"Why do you think I had my phone out?" An offended tone carried over towards Venus, his emotions rather scattered and high at that moment. It was like both the summer heat and the most recent events were catching up to him in a form of relief and and aggravation all in one.

"Oh, actually..." Zoisite steps away only to return with two more bottles of milk from the refrigerator, placing them on the counter.

And before he showed anyone else, he clicks his phone to life and shows Mamoru exactly what he's talking about. A picture of a sapling, the bud as big as a mango, leaves a mixture of green, many blues, and very, very few purples--majority already pruned off. The bud of the plant however had a long mouth" almost shaped like a duckbill. And despite the little sapling not having eyes or brows, it was giving the most inquisitive tilt of the head right as the picture was taken.

"This is Blu." Zoisite explains quietly, affection in his voice. "It's the seed Saphir gave me. They sprouted and they are safe in the Shed's garden."

Roman Talleday has posed:
'Drop anything else on the counter and I'll pay for it', says Mamoru, and Roman immediately picks out another few things from around the couter impulsively. Much of it various candies, but also a mystery kirby keychain.

With a mouthful of icecream, licking it from his lip, he leans to peer at the phone by Mamoru's shoulder. What he sees is not at all what he expects. If he didn't know better-- more pointedly, if he'd met that thing growing in the park-- he'd have booted it into the river, well and proper. Blue eyes shift to Zoisite's face with perhaps mild concern, and back to the phone again, and long lashes blink slowly.

"If that's a saplin', but," He tilted his icecream cone some, "What's it gonna be, full bloom? Other than massive an' terrifyin', I mean, 'cause that's a given?"

Minako Aino has posed:
Covering? You don't have to say that twice! Broke girl is broke. Venus drops everything she'd gathered up onto the countertop with a bright grin and a cheery, "Thank you~" because let's face it, her allowance was no where near what Tux could cover. At most she'd manage that drink.

Curious when Zoisite comes over to show his phone off as well she leeeans with a stretch of her neck to catch a glimpse of the ... Plant. "... It. It drinks milk? I thought... I mean I guess some need fishbones and eggshells I think." But milk?

Thoroughly distracted her blue eyes dart back to Mercury at the suggestion of a phone number with a soft 'ooh' as if it hadn't occured to her just yet. Eventually it would have, but while she was a flirt, she'd never really flirted with MAHOU. Fellow students? Yes. Guys at the arcade? Sure. College students? No problem. Work colleagues? Nope.

Either way right now she's right up against Cure Chai trying to peek at the phone as well. Quietly she asides, "So can I get your Line?"

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
In the midst of this post-fight chatter and excited baby picture sharing, comes the ding! of the conbini door as it opens, letting in one Sailor Moon, bearing a handful of marks of battle, most prominently a coffee stain on her skirt and the heavy scent of a fragrant mocha latte.

She's typing into her phone, when she looks up and sees the group and pauses for a moment.

Arms laden with snacks, Clerk-san looking decidedly uninterested, Zoisite with a baby bottle and a phone, and a Pretty Cure Fairy floating by the checking stand -

"So, I guess you guys finished that fight you texted about?"

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
"Ohhhh," says the masked prince, eyes still a little wide after that surprising and ridiculous emotional rollercoaster he's hoping no one noticed. His eyes focus on the screen, and he smiles, and it slowly turns into a grin. "And you managed to get it to live without dark energy is the part that shocks me--"

He freezes.

"It was a seed from Nemesis and it's thriving without dark energy," he repeats, as if trying to will it to be true, and he's breathless all over again but for an all-new reason.

Riventon.

Clerk-san does not care about Audrey II or Riventon or literally any of the nonsense any of these children are spouting. Clerk-san is grimly ringing up every last thing the kids have dumped onto the counter. Including the mystery kirby keychain.

Mamoru isn't much help to Ami-- but he has to bite his lip to keep from laughing at the phone number comment.

And then Usagi gets in and Mamoru's glad he put his stuff down and handed his card over and everything, because he absently scritches Zoisite's head affectionately as he gets distracted away from the baby picture by oh yeah HIS WIFE~~ "Oh no, did you run into your own trouble on the way?" he asks in chagrin.

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Even Sailor Mercury was getting in on the gawking, shuffling in a little closer until the group huddled about Tuxedo Mask, Zoisite, and the "baby" picture had reached its peak.

"It is a little mean looking, isn't it?" Mercury found herself agreeing with Cure Chai, head shaking gently.

Then came the ding of the door and, much like Mamoru, Ami's attention is caught by the voice of one Sailor Moon. Which, of course, is met by a sudden and brilliant smile.

"We baked its buns." Sailor Mercury confirmed cheerfully.

Zoisite has posed:
It was the sudden lack of space he felt when both the precure and Venus leaned over his shoulder to try and successfully nose into his business. Were it just Venus and Mercury, he wouldn't have minded, but a complete stranger?

Sharpness returned to Zoisite's eyes as he looked over his shoulder back to Cure Chai like he could set something on fire, but was in much more control of himself at that moment. "Do you fuckin' mind?"

It took Mamoru's muttering to pull him out of his annoyance, sharpness once again gone along with the picture on his phone, tucking it away in his pocket. he leans into the scritch.

Roman Talleday has posed:
The Pretty Cure returned Zoisite with a fairly blunt, "What? You sayin' all that like I'm not gonna look? Mate," He did step back though, throwing his hands up a bit. "Congratulations on your salad."

He jut his chin at Sailor Venus, however. His LINE? "Romeopathy. First 'o' with the line through it, but..."

"Oh! That smell!" Darjeela flew towards Sailor Moon now, difting by her with a siffing at the air. "That's a suspicious scent, Stir-stir! Oh, I hope there's not somebody from the Dark Roast in the area... This calls for another scout, to be sure!" Off she went, then, over and out the doors.

"Darjeela! Darjeel-- nah! Hold up," Grabbing at his bag of procured goods, he turned to run after her, "I'll be back!" He was doing an impressive job of eating his icecream even as he ran out.

Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus actually jumps a little at Zoisite's reaction to Cure Chai being near him. She knew he didn't like people for the most part but this was the first time in awhile she'd actually seen him react in such a way, too. An apologetic touch of fingertips is offered lightly to his elbow. It drops away quickly as she fishes out her own phone and ... pauses.

"Romeopathy...?" Why did that sound familiar? Why did it auto-fill when she typed the first few letters? Why was a slow, high pitched tone building in the back of her throat that culminates into a, "OH MY GOD!"

Perhaps thankfully he was gone by that point because the mental screaming almost turned into real screaming. It's quieted with a quick bite of the yakitori she'd snagged as she dances foot to foot gesturing at Mercury, then the door, then Sailor Moon! As if her frantic miming might make sense.

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"I'm glad you beat it! It wasn't anything too bad, just a - oh," The oh is because Zoisite has snapped on an innocent looking Cure who sure is all up in his phone. Congratulations on the salad? Did she miss something? She thinks she missed something. She hopes it wasn't in the fight, or she'll never get the in-jokes!

"Um, well, it was just - are you sniffing me?" Her explanation is interrupted again by the sudden sniffing of Darjeela the fairy, and she's a little offended, actually, but - "Wait, the Dark Roast? Like from coffee? Because it was a - and they're gone." Cure Chai and Darjeela are out the building, and Sailor Moon rubs the back of her neck sheepishly.

"I don't know what that was all about but... I just tripped off a roof and fell on a vending machine youma," she admits with resigned sheepishness. She feels kind of bad now? That poor fairy didn't need to go running off over this! "I mean, maybe the canned coffee was dark roast?"

Minako's screaming, but that's normal enough to tune out.

Zoisite has posed:
"Good, they're gone." Green gaze gives the exit door a side glance, lifting his gloved hands and plugging his ears with one finger each at the screaming.

"Hello Sailor Moon. Don't worry, I missed the fight as well. They were done with it before I got a chance to do anything."

Ami Mizuno has posed:
Romeopathy. Of course it was and of course he just dropped it like that. Sailor Mercury closed her eyes again.

"Yeah. He gave me his phone number as Cure Chai and I was surprised to find that I already had it." She explained slowly with a sigh.

When her eyes fluttered open again, blues shifted to Zoisite only briefly before she took up her goodies and made her way over to Sailor Moon.

"I hope it's not that cranky wasp-girl again." Ami mused. "Don't worry, you don't smell bad."

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
Mamoru leans away a little in alarm at Zoisite's outburst, and he looks apologetic at Roman-- but the more he knows of this kid, the more he realizes how hard it must actually be to offend him. There are lessons to be learned here, and Mamoru's not ready to learn them yet.

And then Zoi's leaning into the scritch and Tuxedo Kamen looks affectionately frustrated. "I mean--" he starts, and then Roman runs out the door, and he sighs and finishes, "--you said you weren't that much of a feral cat, but I knew it was lies. I just have cat magic-- oh, what?"

Drama! At the FaM-Mart. Tuxedo Mask snorts, glancing at Sailor Mercury as Sailor Venus almost makes like a siren. He puts his hands over his ears.

"Veil's terrible, isn't it," he says to Minako, then picks up his bags of stuff. "I bought you a bunch of snacks, Moon-chan. Do you want to trust me or give Clerk-san a headache a little longer?" And he's left Zoisite to magnet toward Usagi as well, and he blinks when he gets closer. "You smell delicious," he declares, "can someone open the door for me?"

Minako Aino has posed:
They KNEW. Venus looks between Mercury and Tuxedo with eyes wide and lower lip jutting out in a pout! "Oh! Well. I ... That's... Less exciting but still!"

"Don't worry Moon-chan, it was kind of a pain and I don't want pastry now." For the moment.

As the others start to move toward Moon she gathers up her drink and snacks taking a spot near Zoisite. "That's the *boy*," she remarks with a little giddy tone. "The one who was super sweet and let me have his drink because I didn't like the one I got." She was talking about him the way she once talked about a certain white haired shittenou.

Zoisite has posed:
Once she stopped screaming, Zoisite lowered his hands and picked up the empty baby bottle and the bag with milks within.

"What boy?" Zoisite lifted an eyebrow at his friend, slightly tired while following behind the group. Was he really a feral cat? He wanted Mamoru to see Blue Spinel first as the plant meant something important to him. So the precure leaving meant nothing to him at that moment. "I have no idea who you're talking about."

Usagi Tsukino has posed:
"Thank you," Sailor Moon offers Sailor Mercury and Tuxedo Kamen, pleased by their near simultaneous compliments. "It's good to know you'd love me even if I was covered in canned coffee."

She knew of course, but she gets to know again, and isn't that wonderful?

"Aw, sorry we both missed it then. What were you showing everyone that Cure Chai wanted to see?" She's so curious, but she's being well-behaved, making sure not to shove her face in the phone. At Minako's gleeful, boy-crazed tone, she scoots around a little, closer to Mamoru and Mercury than the two amigos.

Minako Aino has posed:
"Oh I didn't tell you about him? I thought I would have," Venus admits with a little grin before she blurts out, "Hopefully *my* boy soon!" Followed by a titter of laughter.

Quickly freeing one hand up she offers Zoisite a quick shoulder-hug. "Congratulations on your plant, too! You really had me worried there for a few minutes though."

With one last lingering sigh she dips away with her Tuxedo-bought goodies in hand to head for the door too. "I'm going to head to the rooftops a bit any way. If there's two youma roaming around that's not good. I'll catch up with everyone later!"

Ami Mizuno has posed:
"I quite like the smell of freshly brewed coffee." Mercury mused gently before taking a short sip of her freshly brewed coffee, eyebrows lifting slightly before she could continue.

Her attention drifted to Venus.

"Maybe you should tell him who you are as well." Ami let her gazed linger upon her friend for a long moment before she added. "All of them. The poor boy is a little bit taken with you in three different ways right now. It gets a little bit awkward to watch sometimes."

She shook her head, but offered her fellow senshi a wave none-the-less.

Zoisite has posed:
Zoisite blinks towards Venus as she hugs him and runs off. Her boy explained nothing about who she was blabbering about.

"As long as it's not the rude mahou that left us earlier, it's probably a gods-send she gets to have a boyfriend."

Minako Aino has posed:
Sailor Venus pauses at hearing Mercury with a look running over her that was hard to read. Flustered? Surprised? A bit of both as her hand raises to touch against her mouth with a soft, "Oh! He is? But three? There's only me and... Wait, also..." Another little near-squeal that thankfully doesn't turn into a scream this time as she ducks out red-faced. Flee, Venus, flee!

"I'll text you deets later!" She calls out to her friends. Zoi included of course.

Mamoru Chiba has posed:
As if to make his point, Tuxedo Mask leans over and, in full view of Clerk-san and everyone, rude as ANYTHING, and as annoying as possible, LICKS the side of Usagi's face. "More chocolatey than I expected," he says judiciously. And then to Zoisite, "The rude boy who went out the door. He's just English, and doesn't know the room-reading-language well enough yet. Fortunately he's pretty good-natured, and good at learning boundaries."

Then he gets the door open with his elbow. "I'm going home! With all the snacks."

Out he goes!
