(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Well I wish I could say that was surprising. What happened? :(

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: I know, right? He was at the museum with the exhibit.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: -That- exhibit? The one with the magic? What was he doing there?

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: He was aiming for something called the Jar of Memories.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Huh. I can't say I've heard of that before.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Right in the dead of the night.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Did the museum have anything to say about what it was?

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Whatever it is, they really wanted it more than usual, with a time like that.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... Okay. So. That concerns me a whole lot actually.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Haven't had time to check yet.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: You're telling me that Obsidian sent Riventon to collect an art piece called the Jar of Memories that is -very likely- to have ties to ancient Actual Magic stuff.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Either that jar had some information on it we weren't meant to see, or...

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... or... nah, it couldn't have been actually magic right? That wouldn't just be floating around. I think.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Any other clues why he wanted it so bad?

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Hard to say.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: He spent a lot of time boasting about killing Gaito.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... For real? That guy?

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: The guy who absolutely refused to attack me full on because I didn't have henshin armor at the time... is now claiming that he killed some other villain because the latter guy chilled for a bit.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Yup, just like that.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: He really was insistent about it.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: He must have gotten a lot worse... u_u; I guess dark energy just does that to people.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... Kamiko thinks he's lying, actually

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: She is going to want to hear this then.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: He practically pulled out the vocabulary for it.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Well now I can't get her away from the screen. XD

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Used any possible synonym and euphemism for it, except the actual word.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: I wonder how hard it would be to go to check up on Gaito. When I last saw him we kinda had to leave in a hurry.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: I actually never expected to hear from him again. u_u

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: The Precards have a mermaid variant.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: But no clue about his palace.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Hm. Honestly... I'm not sure I want to know.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: If Gaito wanted to fake his death and not trouble us anymore, I'm inclined to let him have that. But if Riventon -isn't- lying then honestly I think a lot less of him for that.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: If I actually had to check though, I'd probably use Hope Concept's Familiars to search out his location, if I could get in the general area.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... not that I'd mind your company or help on such a venture.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Well... thanks for letting me know. That sure is weird.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: I wouldn't mind it either :)

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: I... am pretty sure that I have no idea where it is -right now-. I would have to ask the mermaid goddess and -maybe- she or someone else could open a portal to somewhere nearby.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Oh. So -he- was able to find it.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: He called himself the inheritor of the Dark Energy contained in both the Sea and Sun.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... that's quite a claim.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: He has one more, too.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: You know how he calls things he wants to steal his?

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: He has that tendency, yes.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: He called the Fade theirs.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Not his specifically, I guess.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... Huh.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: 'Theirs', as in Obsidian's?

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Probably.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: I mean it's a known factor that dark energy users don't hit the Fade as quickly. At least... it's known that they have adults and we don't.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: He boasted about that too during the fight.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... Was he trying to claim that Obsidian caused it?

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Maybe. Or they are trying to understand it and make it worse.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Not that it needs help there.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: ... Oh I see. Yeah, that would be pretty awful. o_o

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: If they managed to find a way to make it trigger sooner... a lot of our current crop would just Fade immediately.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: If you are right, though, that means *they have* been making it worse, with the exhibit's history.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Well, we know -something- is causing it, right?

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: It wasn't from the Silver Millenium. Something else did it.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: We can be pretty sure of that.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: Makes sense. I don't really see Queen Serenity curse her daughter like that.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Right? That makes no sense. And if the Fade came from the Silver Millennium then it would have affected all of those other clearly adult mahoujin in the paintings and art pieces.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: If the Jar had things they wanted to keep from us, they did it, though.

(PHONE) Sayaka Miki texts: It got broken during the fight.

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: I'm sure she'd tell me if she did. u_u

(PHONE) Madoka Kaname texts: Eheh... we've been recovering from our trip to the alternate future. A lot of things happened there. Also restocking on Grief Seeds. She's really cute sometimes, underneath all of the tough girl persona.
