Focus

The magic of Geode Girls comes from friendship. The bonds people share with others. As such, a single Geode Girl might have some power, but the more friends they have with them, the more they are willing to fight together, the more they are willing to stand up even when getting knocked down because their friends are besides them, the more powerful they become. While the original source of this 'magic' is external, namely the Geodes, it is the heart of its wielder which ultimately determines how powerful it is. In the end, it is only the bonds of friendship that can give them the strength to face the monsters of their world, with Geode magic merely unlocking that potential within them to begin with. Geode magic can be used to purify, access some of the magic the wielder would have had in the other world(for example, if they would have been incredibly strong in the other world, they become incredibly strong when henshined) and amplify the magic of their friends. The reason friendship is such a prevalent theme throughout their powers is that they are INCREDIBLY dependent on these bonds, even moreso than most magical girls, and become considerably weaker when only fighting for themselves. The more they try to abuse their powers only for themselves, the more susceptible they become to dark energy and may even lose the ability to use their geodes in that case, as is the case for Hinoiri.

Style

The appearances of Geode Girls tend to be very, very bright and flamboyant. Heroes will often grow a small sign or two of their opposite side's counterpart (ears, wings, longer hair) and all of the colors on their outfits will be bright. Even black clothing seems to glow. No, it doesn't make sense. One very noticeable part of this is that their colors will change. Sometimes it's barely noticeable, other times someone will turn a bright purple and it'll be all but impossible to not notice. Characters of Geode Girls often have very 'defining' names, but in Mahou that's not exactly uncommon. Many often have very... odd hair that, frankly, would make most swear up and down it was dyed. If not for so many strange girls with oddly undyed hair of different colors.

Powers

Hinoiri's powers, for now, are simple. Dark energy manipulation. With a bit of help from Obsidian, it wasn't long before she gained access to dark energy and started applying it to use the magic she had grown so used to back home. This, primarily, shows as short range teleportation, flame magic and telekinesis. The dark energy in her system is so strong, now, that were she actually from the fairy world she believes, she likely would have died.

However, when/if she is purified and is able to harness her geode again, by understanding and accepting friendship, the below powers will take effect and she will lose the powers listed above.

Geode: Her Geode allows her to henshin, granting her more strength, speed, durability and agility as a magical girl. It also allows her to use purification beams, in the form of beams of light magic. However, the two strongest abilities are listed below.

Friendship amplification: Not that she amplifies friendship, but that the closer she is to those around her, the stronger she, and they, become. The geode amplifies those bonds, unleashing the true magic of friendship in order to protect those close to the bearers. While those friendships don't have to be with other magical girls directly, it can certainly help. A geode bearer is only as strong as the bonds they share with those around them... This can be a double edged sword, however. If they're fighting only for themselves, their powers are far weaker and may even fail entirely. Even defending others can be a lost cause, if they don?t know them.

Empathy: The specific power of Hinoiri's geode and something she, oddly, has been a lot more talented at than she might have initially realized. The geode allows her to, with a touch, see people's thoughts and feelings. It can be a vague feeling, or even deep memories if they're focused on such. However, it's only able to detect things they feel currently, as such she'll often need to talk with them to get them thinking on what she needs to know. This power works even when out of henshin... but is very hit or miss when it comes to magical people. OOC, it'll only be an 'as needed' power and if she tries to use it (which she likely would when it's called for), it will end up blocked, fail to go off or she'd see the wrong thing. She may be slightly genre savvy, but plot exists for a reason.
