By night, Oneiric Guardian Emi defends the world from the depredations of nightmare and those who would exploit the dream world to spread darkness and pain in their wake. With the help of her talking spider companion, Kenken, she fights the good fight, one dream and one dreamer at a time. By night, that is. By day, Emi Hoshino is seemingly a troubled girl, a juvenile delinquent who sleeps through her classes, gets detention all the time, and has gotten herself a juvenile criminal record. It's that last one that's seen her sent away from her home in Kyoto to Radiant Heart Academy. Apparently, her parents think a change in scenery and structure may set her straight.
