RHM 2026 RULES UPDATE
Hello Radiant Heart MUSH! This is your Director speaking on behalf of Staff.
In order to resolve several past and potential future issues, Staff has chosen to make some changes to the situation with Character Sheets, Upgrade Approval, and Activity Logs.
To sum it all up - we're moving the offical version of +sheet to the wiki, and all upgrades/changes to your character will need to be on the wikisheet. Additionally, we'll be using the list of logs on the wiki to check activity.
Activity Checks
Activity checks will be moved to using completed scenes on the wiki - scenes that aren't properly converted to the wiki WILL NOT COUNT towards activity when we do checks. As a reminder: Canon Characters must be active at least once a month but are expected to help facilitate/participate in RP within the game (Both in and out of their origin/series members) on a regular basis. Inactive canon characters will be given 1 warning, and then you will lose the bit, as it is unapproved and made available for new applicants. Non-canon characters will be dropped from cast lists/visible character lists if inactive for two months.
Reminder on getting scenes to appear on the wiki: From the Active Scenes page, pick the scene, open it, then scroll down to the bottom where a button will allow you to submit the log to the wiki with all information it can pull pre-filled.
If the scene has been properly named and desc'd all information should be filled, if not, you can add it on that page. If there are issues with a scene being moved to the wiki, please raise an issue in the game or Discord for Staff to investigate.
Powers Update
ALL POWERS AND ABILITIES YOU USE IN SCENES MUST BE ON YOUR SHEET OR IN YOUR ORIGIN'S "Origin Default Powers" list. "It happened in canon" is an explanation which is suitable for an power addition/upgrade job, but not for using a power which doesn't follow these guidlines. Note that the specific guidelines for what needs to be on your sheet are spelled out here (NEW): https://radiantheartmush.com/Powers
IF YOU HAVE APPROVED POWERS THAT ARE NOT ON YOUR CURRENT SHEET: Please add them to your wikisheet AFTER creating it, so you can attach the job where the powers were approved to the edit log.
IF YOU HAVE POWERS YOU USE THAT ARE NOT APPROVED: You should open a job to get them approved before adding them to your sheet, and not use them until they are approved.
The Wikisheet
Approved characters will be expected to create a wiki page (if they haven't already), and on the character pages on wiki there is now a link at the top for the Character Sheet.
A new command on the MUSH, +wikify/sheet, will output your current +sheet in a format suitable for direct copy and paste.
Going forward, when an upgrade pitch/job is approved, you will be required to add the new abilities to your wiki sheet, and quote the job# in the Summary for the edit.
